Fantastic cache. little bit tricky to get into but a beautiful spot to find a cache! tftc
What a beautiful spot to explore. I spotted this one quickly. Sent Zyg in to collect. Thanks for the cache
Having a few days on the Mornington Peninsula and searching out some caches. A pleasant stroll along the beach notwithstanding the midges. A very well tucked away container, all in good condition. TFTC and keeping this one in play DumberThanRocks
No luck for us here. Could have been the singlets and things too though - bit scratchy n there
Found it at the event the other day on the 1st!The coordinates are a bit off now it's been updated but it's further into the bush than you'd expect!
It seemed kind of strange doing this cache after completing the series many years ago. This is one of the caches found today. Thanks DumberThanRocks for the cache.
We were in Flinders today for an event and took the opportunity to join others from the event to search for this cache. I had previously attempted this one only to find that indeed time and tide wait for no man and high tide wasnt my friend. I also had tried to access GZ from the inland track. No way through there. But today the cache had just been replaced and the search was a lot of fun although it took a while. Team Sonofthesimes even rescued a lost little possum that had lost its way. Thanks DumberThanRocks for maintaining the cache and keeping it in the game.
After a yummy, summer lunch by the seashore it was time to look for some nearby caches. Not having read the cache page we may have stumbled across a few problems, but all were easily overcome in the company of friends. Did we read the bit about accessing from the beach? No. But a few more paces down the road brought us to the sailing club and easy beach access. We strolled back to GZ where were heard all manner of human noises emanating from the bushes. LetThemEatCache and I glanced at each other, we know where it is LOL. In we went, it was a busy meeting and we stood back and requested another cacher sign on our behalf. Wrong! Oops, as we had not read the cache page how were we to know there was a clue inside. Lesson learnt, or not, I think I had this problem last week too ??Thanks for maintaining this series DumberThanRocks
Went for a nice stroll along the road when we realised we should be beach-side. Yea yea read the cache page they said. It'll be easy they said...Now approaching from the sand, we saw the obvious path and heard about half a dozen voices. Sure enough, the cachers from the nearby event had taken the easiest path and made it in to sign the log. Thanks for maintaining this series DTR. Now to gather more clues.
The previous container's lid and logbook were recovered but have been very exposed to the elements, so they were binned on the way out! It's become quite overgrown in here since our last visit, and some chairs to the right of the junction seem to indicate that this spot is visited semi-frequently.Therefore, a slightly different spot a bit further in around to the left has been chosen for the replacement, with a bigger 1L container fitting the location.Just head left at the junction and straight in to the furthest tree of reasonable reachability - some ducking and weaving may be required, but no actual bushbashing. - B3
Now with a bit of maintenance performed, this one is ready to go once again. Enjoy!
Attending an event in Flinders with Skylizard and taking opportunity to get a few caches down this way. Weather better than expected making a pleasant tour around the area. Headed off to this one after lunch with a group from the event. Lovely stroll down the beach before heading inland into bush. Took quite a bit of searching, some issues with coords but eventually found by one of the group. TFTC

As anticipated, another month will be needed. Will certainly have this one sorted before the Christmas period, however. - B3
Lovely walk to the GZ, very quiet here today, came to also do the earthcache nearby!Only found the lid here, looks like its been muggled. Have left lid in a safe spot and will message CO with photo for reference and to notify a cache rescue.
Thanks to the helpful intel from LittleBlueCaravan, this one will be receiving a check. The next month is particularly busy for this Rocks representative, though hopefully a visit should be squeezed in there somewhere. - B3
A lovely walk along the beach to this one, had the whole place to myself. Log book is quite damp.
11:47Taking the long way home from our holiday on the peninsula... the others stayed in the car to enjoy the view of the water while I wandered off to look for this one.So of course I read the bit about the best approach direction as I walked past on the landward side... which is fine, as I was returning along the beach.A nice easy find once I found the way in.Thanks, piglet* / Ikkibrady and DumberThanRocks.#7930
Beautiful place to find a cache. Took the family.. almost got stuck with the tide coming in but worth it for laughs. Thanks
We timed it perfectly for the rain to start but we didn’t let that stop us briskly walking down the beach and taking a little adventure into the coastal scrub to locate this cache.
TFTC.

Nice secluded little cache, easy to access but well hidden. Well on my way to completing the series. Tftc
A nice spot. I parked on the lawn and had a stroll. Very pleasant until the machine guns started.
Found out and about on the 2023 trip for the Rutherglen Mega. Thanks to DumberThanRocks and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]

On a beautiful winters day with the tide just right we decided to have a cache day, thanks for placing this cache and the clue tucked away for later
A lovely afternoon for a walk along the beach after the weather we have had recently. TFTC
Find # 10896
Found with sharkiefan.
The task for today was to tackle the Jack Speak series and a few around the area.
Despite the morning drizzle we still managed to make the Jack Speak finds along the road. Even with a DNF we still managed to work out the final.
Then when the rain passed and the sun was out we done more exploring and finding quite a few "Welcome to..." cache at each town we passed coming back up.
Throwen in was a couple other puzzles we had solved.
A fun day had over on the Mornington Peninsula with a total of 45 smileys for the trip.
Came down here to have fish n chips by the beach and then find the cache, a quick grab after the short walk on the sand.

Jack Speak Day.
We had planned this trip a while ago and had the puzzles solved even longer ago.
Depsite the wet weather and gloomy looking day, we decided to head out and have a crack, prepared to give it up if it became too miserable.
Pleasantly we ended up with some beautiful if not windy weather and had a great time out this end of the state.
We came down here to eat our overpriced fish n chips. Reminder to self to never go the the Flinder Fish n chip place again! Found the cache while letting the food cool

TFTC, in the area after the local event, and headed to Flinders for some cold refreshments. Afterwards picking up more local caches. Enjoyed our walk along here but didn’t follow the hint so was walked until the yacht club and walked back along the beach. Made a quick find at the gz as the cache wasn’t hidden. Replaced and add some camo as it seems it gets some visits here at the gz! Really nice spot!
Spent the weekend at Flinders celebrating a significant birthday, enjoying the beach walk the next morning. TFTC
After a wee stroll along a windy beach cache was in hand. TFTC JenneG and Budgy. North Nowra.

Was unable to locate the cache, and with a lot of obstacles in place to get to gz, the decision has been made to put the new container a few metres away.
It's still out of the way of any curious muggles, but less of an unnecessary challenge for geocachers to reach.

Recent logs suggest that this one may not be in the best condition if it's there at all.
But if all goes to plan, the whole Piglet's Peninsula Puzzler series should get a check-up this weekend. Stay tuned! - B3

My husband and I decided to take a trip to Flinders as we haven't visited this side of the Peninsula yet this summer.
After parking at the pier and walking along the beach towards this cache my husband got distracting by looking at ALL the yachts that were being stored at the yacht club.
It was then time to search for this cache, so we approached from the beachside, then from the pathside and finally back to the beachside, but unfortunatly after a long search we were unable to locate the cache.
We will return on our next visit to Flinders to search again.
Thank you to the CO for creating this cache and to the people who maintain it.

Piglets Peninsula Puzzler 7 'o'clock- V2 was transferred from BorisB&Natasha to user DumberThanRocks
Had a very hard time finding this one but got there in the end albeit a little scratched up. Cache is soaked and log was sopping wet but clue is still perfectly intact and thrilled to have found it
Out with Sorceysal for a few caches down on the Mornington Peninsula.
This one involved a false start before backtracking to the beach and finding an 'easier' way in.
It did involve a commando crawl for a few metres at one stage, but really only took about 3 min return to the beach. Love these extra challenges that caching brings.
Thanks again BB&N

A day out and about with Bogonghazy on the Mornington Peninsula.
Lovely walk along the beach toward the yacht club. Found an easier way in but still a lot of prickles to contend with. BH eventually crawled through on his stomach to retrieve the log. Thanks BB & N

Second of two while on this afternoon's stroll around the area. I could have done with a machete and blow torch in order to get to GZ but I finally made it with many a scratch to tell the tale and was finally signing the log at 16:20. Now, how to get out?
TNLNSL noted clue and our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks BorisB&Natasha (Adopted from Ikkibrady ).
**PS:** The log was absolutely saturated and I tipped a small amount of water out of the container. Some TLC might be needed on this one.

The Geo kids and myself found it with not too much difficulty although the GPS was it really playing ball today. Tftc.
Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha for the cache.

Midway through the attendance at the nearby event a number of us went on a little walk. Cache was found and clue duly noted.
Found by Mary and David at 11:00. This cache will be getting a lot of logs today with two Events nearby. So easy to duck into the shrubbery as we continued back along the beach to the CITO Event with very little rubbish between us all, the place was so clean. A perfect day, with sunshine and the rhythmic pulse of the waves to lull the stress levels. Our thanks to BorisB&Natasha.
Went there for CITO, same time to found the cache
BorisB&Natasha (Adopted from Ikkibrady ), thank you so much for placing it.

After attending the nearby events, we decided to spend some time looking around the area and searching out some caches if there was one. This was our first. Thank you for the cache.
Found with +Wife and Biggles1024 after our events today.
A mini meetup near GZ.
Mark and I slightly overshot the geotrail and upon our return there was a young couple looking in towards the cache. We enquired politely if they were geocaching but as it happens, they weren't. They had seen some women disappear into the bushes and wondered what they were up to. As we explained geocaching to them the previous finders returned to the beach.
We all chatted for a while before heading off in different directions.
We soon had the cache in hand, clue collected and were also on our way...

Find #4376
Traditional Find #2739**
Rod and I left the event to attempt this member of the PPP series. We saw a couple about to enter the bush from the beach and took them to be cachers. As it turned out, they were muggles but had seen two people (cachers) go into the bush and were curious about why they had. Rod explained geocaching to them and they seemed quite interested.
After bidding them goodbye, we continued on into the scrub where a quick find was made.
**Thank-you to BorisB&Natasha for placing this geocache**

22 Feb 2020: Streak Day #359/366 (1 March 2019 - 29 February 2020). TFTC . Came here for CITO, a quick detour to this cache with Crank1 and maccamob, I had a great time finding your cache BorisB&Natasha (Adopted from Ikkibrady ), thank you so much for placing it.
Easy approach from the beach. Cache container has moisture in it but log sheets were dry.
We were down in the area for the CITO and lunch time evenst and saw this one pop up on screen. After a bit of discussion a group of us headed off for a very pleasant walk along the sand laughing and chatting as we went.
We soon arrived at gz and with many eyes it didn't take too long before this cache was located and our names were added tot he log.
We found the original version back in 2006 , not long after it was published, this one has taken us nearly eight years to get

Quick little grab whilst exploring the area. Some water in cache. Nailed it! NJMJ Tribe
After a fun day walking along the coast, we stopped in Flinders for a bite to eat before heading home. This cache wasn't too far from where we were, so we headed over for a look. I was a little surprised to see a puffer fish near GZ (how did that get there??). After a short hunt I found the cache tucked away. TFTC!
#3966 Enjoying an evening in Flinders, we managed to make the find here after finding an entry point from the beach side into the thick coastal jungle . No muggles at gz today TFTC BorisB&Natasha.
Thanks SteMicMitSar for replacing the log book in this cache for me. I was planning on attending to it after the holidays as it takes 10 times longer to go anywhere at the moment.
*Found on the 7 Jan 2020 @ 12:45 pm.*
*Cache find # 10569.*
While still on holidays I decided to make the most of it and head down to the peninsula to find a few caches.
It would of been nice if I had of read the hint before I headed into this one as I approached this one from the wrong side and made it a lot harder for myself but once I made it to the right area the cache was found easy enough.
With only a scrap of paper and no clue so I added a little logbook.
**Thanks to BorisB&Natasha (Adopted from Ikkibrady ) for placing this cache.**

Found this one on my birthday a few weeks ago and forgot to log. A great spot for a cache. Came from the beach side and wasn’t too tricky to locate. TFTC
