Gps had me 10m SW of the posted. Cache in good shape. Odd little lookout. Thanks for placing.
I was in the area doing cache maintenance and took a delightful drive up Currumbin Creek Rd to find a few caches.
This was to be the last find for the day as the light was fading and a light shower of rain started as we pulled up.
The cache was quickly located.
We were originally planning to continue on to Murwillumbah but plans had changed for tomorrow so we turned around here and headed home.

Found heaps of toilet paper, an empty wallet, rego plate and bong, but no cache unfortunately
I spent awhile here… keeping the hint in mind while doing the dance of the scrub Turkey… other than uncovering a recycled drink bottle I couldn’t locate the cache…
Found him hiding, different tree to what we just assumed, but got him quick still. TFTC
Spoke to one of the Freeman’s further down. He has one of the original signs for here at his property. He said this one is all over grown. Tftc
Out for some caching fun with Brislions. We were following a lab cache and picking up a few other caches along the way. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Selva Girls said she wanted to head down to Currumbin to pickup a few caches. We grab 24 today. Virtual, 2 mystery, and 16 traditional and Adventure Lab with 5 waypoints.
We had lots of fun today and we got very close to NSW border. But we don’t have a pass to cross the border, and that cache was only 2km away. ok maybe time.
Sorry for the generic post.

I was doing the nearby Adventure Lab stage and spotted this one on the map. Lovely view of the ranges here. TFTC

After completing the nearby Adventure Lab we came here to look at the view and locate the cache. As we pulled up the GPSr said 0m so Mrs Shifter left it in the car and looked in the obvious spot, locating the cache while Mr Shifter took a few photos.
Thanks for the cache saintsmadhouse.

A bit too cloudy to see the ocean, but was good to see Mount Cougal, and Boyd Butte from this angle. This ginger plant in flower was so fragrant. Just gorgeous!
I had one day to find the last 20 caches to reach 1999 before the end of the year. So today was the day. I found 7 by 1pm, wasn't looking good. Then the battery on my car died whilst I took a call. Duh!
But I managed to find them. Thanks to all the COs who hid these caches ariubd Murwillumbah and Uki. I had to stop when I found my 20 so I'll be back to find more caches soon.
View wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. The pond, the palms the mountain. I thought the trees were going to block it all out.

I was on my way home from Currumbin today so decided to take the scenic route. After a walk at the nearby EarthCache, this was the next one along the line. I pulled up at GZ and made my way to the hint, and then a muggle lady decided to turn in and park only 1m from where I was searching. She could have parked anywhere else, as it was only her and I at the lookout, but she chose to park right on top of me. Stupid b!tch, I thought to myself - so I kept searching and found the cache. I snuck it down the hill a bit to sign the log and then returned it to it's spot.
A nice cache at a nice lookout, thanks Saintsmadhouse! I loved this one!

Day 76 Mainland trip
Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers around Murwillumbah and this was one we found. We enjoyed our drive in the area. A quick find. TFTC

Caching in the area with whitewebbs and this was one we found.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Had to wait for muggles (or were they geocachers waiting for us to leave) to leave so we could grab this cache. Easy find.
A nice run back north after snaring a Murwillumbah FTF.
Mr VC was quick to locate this one but soon threw it aside when the large black spider ran towards his hand!
AAARRRGGHHH!
While Mrs VC was taking photos of a beautiful flowering ginger nearby, Mr VC retrieved the cache less spider, made our mark & replaced as found.

Cacheing drive the long way to Casuarina. Used to drive up here when the National Trust property just off Currumbin Creek Road was open and full of roos. Great view. TFTC
Wow. Talk about hidden in plain view. Could see it from the car.
Terrific view thx for the journey

Loving our picturesque drive through the countryside again today ...If only people would stop littering though!
This is our 600th find - woohoo! Another target achieved

This was a quick stop on the way home from a wander round this area. The cache find was easy enough but unfortunately it was too late in the day and also too drizzly to see much from the lookout. TFTC
On my way back to Canberra from Brisbane. Taking a scenic route off the main highways. Grabbed the TB, TFTC.

Found container open in the parking area. All there, so reassembled and rehid. Oops, there was a fall whilst hiding it. All OK.
Found this one scattered all over the ground but we put it all together and rehid under the base of the tree. Found out with Remsjw and Jemillalucy.
Thought we'd swing by here whilst grabbing some other caches in the countryside. This was a good stopover with stunning views of the mountains and valley. Thanks SaintsMadHouse for the neat hide and TFTC
Accurate co-ords led to an easy find. Great location. Hid it a little better than I found it. TFTC
A lovely peaceful spot here, and an easy find with the cache too. Applied camo after signing logbook
TFTC!

There were people set up for afternoon delight at the look out site. I'm glad this cache was a little away from them. Thanks for the view stop.
After the rain of the past couple of days it was good to be able to get out in the sunshine that Queensland is so famous for... We went for a drive that took us into the Hinterland, to the Natural Bridge and on towards Murwillumbah. Instead of heading into town, we turned onto Tomewin Road to head back into Queensland.
Back in Queensland, we pulled over for the Lookout but were rather disappointed...as is all too common with lookouts, the trees have been allowed to grow back and the view is obscured. Still, there was a cache here and that was found easily enough.
Thanks to SaintsMadHouse for putting this cache here.

On our way to John Flynn Hospital and as you do we took the long scenic/caching route, as we pulled up another car pulled in, oh no but they had a quick look and were gone, so a quick search, easy find and we were on our way to. TFTC
Interest looking place for sale next door to this cache. Nice easy find on a drive to Tugun. TFTC
#849 We needed to wait while another car stooped to enjoy the view, then a quick grab, SL and replaced it. Thanks for the cache here SaintsMadHouse.
Beautiful view. And an important local figure. TFTC . Took one of the strange things and left a mini smartphone stylus.
A few muggles pulled in here at the same time we did,so we waited until they went before making the find.TFTC
Captain Terror and I had been lucky enough to be able to spend a few days with some great friends at Toonumbar Dam. It was unfortunately time to head back to Brisbane, the Captain and I had agreed on taking a route that would not only keep us away from most traffic but would also pass quite a few geocaches that made it through our filters.
We had left Kyogle, driven through Lismore, passed quickly through Byron Bay, left Mullumbimby, went around Murwillumbah and had just crossed the border and returned to more pleasant roads. We parked the subaru and the Captain hung back to let me find this one as he had already done it.
It was an easy find which was good because we had just finished putting the logbook back in the container when another car pulled up. Quick replace it! We managed to replace it and leave GZ before they got organised enough to pay us any attention. Thanks for the cache SaintsMadHouse.

On the way home from a climb up the Cougals with KJTJMJ, Yasirazak and Seffnjarah when SNJ determined that we could not just pass a cache on the way, and that we should stop for a look. We parked close to GZ and I trudged out to have a half hearted look...I was simply too sore. SNJ soon ahead the cache in hand, we signed and got ready to leave when we realised we had not even stopped to enjoy the view. We walked down the hill, and snapped a few photos before trudging back up the hill to the car.
Thanks Saints. Nice spot for sure!

After the climb up to The Cougals this morning we stopped off here to admire the view of where we had just been climbing, and of course to find the cache. A quick stop and we were off on our way home. Tftc
On the way home from the Cougals this was a nice place to stop, look at the view and take in again just how beautiful the area really is. This is a great spot for a cache.
