Even though the Needs Archive log is inappropriate in this instance, it would seem that this cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention.
Therefore I am logging a Needs Maintenance log and hopefully the owner will take the opportunity to check that the cache is still there, or if not, take whatever action is necessary.

Three people with 6 eyes. Try to look for it and climb the tree. None there CO please check if it’s still or not. So DNF for us today with blue sad ️
Climbed up a good way, but didn’t see it. Doesn’t mean it’s not there of course. Still enjoyed the climb.
I couldn't see it let alone get it. A BoabTree does not climb another tree. I will leave this for the youngsters.
Little tubist found it on the ground while daddy tubist was looking up. We’ve placed it back up high again.
Great for the kids to do while watching junior footy. They love climbing trees. Thanks.
Saw that there was a souvenir available today so thought I may as well get a cache or two. The find was quickly made after a short climb. Logbook almost full. TFTC
Sat underneath the tree and ate lunch and tried to spot it, couldn't see it but found it after a short climb. My first find, very exciting.
Find #3162
I don't often get to cache on this side of town these days so availing of an event near here I allowed enough time to check a few out. This was my fourth find of fourteen and after hitting some roadworks and diversions after crossing Darebin Creek I found my was to this park. Had a good idea what was needed but did a ground level inspection first to see if I could make the spot from there. I couldn't be bothered to change my shoes so I did the climb in thongs which probably wasn't the smartest move but I soon had my hands on the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache nadya. Got some odd looks from a passing family as I made my way back down to terra firma.

Luck I had my GeoSon with me today. Great hide, really loved this one TFTC
This was an awesome cache in a quiet location today. I imagine it could get busier, but not today. A fav from us today.
I had the park all to myself today. I couldn't spot it from the ground, but I knew that I had a chance if I got a bit closer! And so it was. It's amazing how secure you can feel when dealing with large, solid, lumps of wood with secure things to grab! Thanks for the challenge and an interesting location.
Thanks to nadya, I'm rapt in doing this one as I had to do a little work in getting the find. A great cache in a good area. Thanks again.

Suscoe had a day out in the inner North East today.
It was a delightful day, mild temperatures for Summer and a gentle south easter blowing.
We enjoyed the wander and found a few caches which was a pleasant way to spend the day.
Thanks to nadya for this hide.
All quiet today near GZ.
At last we can put this one in the smiling face list.

Good grief, doing a bit of 'housekeeping' and I spied this one as not found - but I did and ages ago - how could I have forgotten!!! Eyed it off on one visit but a fella was zooming around cutting the grass so made retrieval nigh on impossible - particularly as I knew it wasn't going to be a very elegant retrieval (my tree climbing days quite a ways off in the dim dark past However this particular day (whichever day it was - not in the dim, dark past but certainly far enough back to not remember the actual date!) I had my rather agile geonephew with me who was thrilled to be sent upwards to find the cache (yes, there has been some successful indoctrination happening but its tough competing with those Pokemon thingies ). Anyway all was successful and log was signed and geonephew returned to earth unharmed
TFTC. That was fun to do early on Christmas morning, thanks for the present. The tree is actually quite easy to climb-reminds me of my younger days. I'm glad however that I'm wearing cycling gloves
After completing 2 bike trail series in the company of McLookers , its now time to rest our bums and do a few driveways locally before heading back home. MrT climbed the short distance up the tree where the hide was quickly noticed while McLookers stood guard at the bottom from muggles.
Thanks nadya for the placement.
Thanks nadya for the placement.
A little bit of monkeying around and the cache was in hand. Enjoyed this one. well done nadya. TFTC
Spotted the cache, but given I was in stiff bicycle shoes and cleats, I decided not to attempt the retrieval!
Had to wait for a person to leave from their parked car. This one was spotted quickly and luckily the ascent wasn't too challenging, although I did manage to graze my finger in the process.
Thanks for the Cache!
Thanks for the Cache!
After a DNF last time we were driving back from Geostuff and saw that it had been replaced so a nice quick find was had.
Last we had a DNF and now it was replaced. It was a pretty easy "find". I saw it and sent Legomango to retrieve it
6:10 pm, Out with BoatieTim and we had lots of fun finding this one, I was almost seeing stars but im ok ,lol
18:09, 6 Oct 16, Find #77, While out with Myst42 showing her the ins and outs of finding caches as she is new to all of this. We parked in the side street and then had a look to see which one it might be in... we walked over and had a look but couldn't see it from the ground.. hmm this might be a tricky one, myst tried one and no luck.. I then looked at the logs to see what others had put and said hang on I think we are at the wrong one.. .. Myst got down and we went to the next one.. we both looked around from the ground as one of the previous logs said it can be seen from below. hmm ok.. Bingo.. I spotted it and then myst said she will retrieve.. ... what a great little hiding spot.. im curious what the neighbours think.. lol..TFTC
I was over this way today visiting friends in Bellfield, and this cache had not been found by me, so now have looked and found, but it is too high to reach, and being 69 years old thought not for me, but then my childhood days kicked in, and with one foot after the other, the little cache got closer and closer to my hands, until it was in my grasp, but silly old me, did not bring a pen, so down, I go to my car, sign the log and back to the area where the little container resides, the whole time under the gaze of a middle aged lady walking her dog, wondering why the silly old man would be doing what he was doing, Thanks for this cache, nadya, it was well worth the risk I took going back in time about 60 years, back when as a boy I would go into these areas just to see how far I could see
As we arrived at gz it was apparent what was required to log this cache. Which suits me just fine, I love a bit of adventure when we are out caching. Once in position the cache was easy to locate and we soon had the log signed and were on our way again. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
This was closest to me on a morning drive with the business.
I had not found a cache for almost a week and a half, although I certainly had been doing caching things...
This one presented a little trouble, but once spotted, it was relatively easy to get to.
Not quite sure what the neighbours would have thought but all good in the end.
Getting down was a little more tricky than getting up on this occasion, but none the worse for wear.
Thanks for the cache!

First cache for the day on a run around the area on the bike. This one certainly didn't need a bike! The cache was spotted from the ground before the climb. Nice one. TFTC.

In the area for the Anzac Weekend, so time to enjoy a walk on a lovely sunny day. This was surprisingly a quick enough find.
Thanks nadya for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

Thought I was going to have a tough time searching through this massive tree. But found as soon as I got in it. TFTC
We were worried this would require a special approach but it turned out okay. No pen sorry so took a quick pic. Tftc
Finding a few local ones today - found it pretty easily and not as difficult as I thought it might be! Good spot. Thanks
The bananas last six finds have been trees starting with this one.
With all the experience we now have, the ropes and climbing knots were set up the bananas ascended, found (in that order), decended and packed up all the equipment, here, all done in less than 2 hours.
It is the thrill of using all the equipment to the full capability that makes this game so exciting
And
The fear always in the back of your mind with what could wrong.
Thanks for the adventure nadya & _husky_.

We were in this part of town to attend the 2015 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards, when this interesting D/T number popped up on our radar! A couple of circuits at ground level and the cache was spotted. H-P soon had our name in the log, not a muggle in sight today.
Our thanks to nadya for bringing us to this location.

Last time the geokids and myself came here this cache was down, glad it's up and running again. Sooo close to our house, yet haven't had the time lately to come back and pick it up. Glad we waited for our 50th find to make it special!
Thought we'd come back to this one as it was replaced. Had fun climbing again. Tftc
Returned to this cache with softicus since it has been replaced. Softicus had to do the climbing though as being heavily pregnant I didn't think it was such a good idea.
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon I decided to go out and grab a few caches. A quick find. TFTC.
As stated in the DNF log, we've found part of the cache, and taken what we could find with us (happy to mail it to the owner).
The log we found was lying unravelled amongst the branches of the tree. It says:
Fools Day
Cache
GC3FTFY
Cache placed by:
nadya+husky
replaced by
carkisser 02/08/15
There appears to be a dual log entry recorded on the paper, for two separate dates:
Jeth10
mram
25/8/15
Jem8
26/8/15
Maybe some geokids found this and didn't quite manage to put it back correctly?

Found the location, but not the cache. We did find part of the cache, though: a paper log and the top of a bison container. Couldn't find the bottom of the container. When we get home we'll log a maintenance request.
Just noticed this has been disabled and as it's almost next door I went to check on it. It's definitely gone, council has pruned the trees again. Tomorrow I'll send one of the geokids to pop up a replacement and let the CO know.
New cache and log in place. With CO permission.

I'll pull the trigger: can the cache owner please check on this. I tried again on the weekend without luck.
Thanks.
Thanks.
No good! Spent 20min with Charliegirl climbing pines, but to no avail. I'm thinking its gone
Found the right tree and climbed. Looking at the photos and previous entries was no help. Not sure if it is missing
Had a great time climbing. It's been a long time since I've been up a tree. Sadly didn't find it today.
Having visited here before I knew what tree I was after.
Now I must tell tell you that the last thing I would do for a cache is to climb a tree, I hate climbing trees. I had put this cache on my list that I had to get when the LalorBrennan's were caching with me. Mr LalorBrennan is a chippie and has no problems with heights.
But like I said this was my second visit here. The first time I had climbed up, and up, and up until I stared saying lots of swear words. I looked everywhere but I could not find the cache.
When we got home I looked at the cache page and just happened to find a picture. Wow, did I put my life at risk and climb to far up this bloody tree.
So today, after attending a nearby event, and having this picture burnt into my memory, I had another crack at this.
Now I need to let you all know that our general rule for when we go caching is to not were thongs. But as we were not thinking of getting any caches today.... thongs I had on.
So with bare feet I Made my way to were I thought the cache might be after looking at the pic and what do you know.... The sun had it shining at me in all its glory. How the hell did I miss this the first time?
Thanks for the cache nadya.

After searching above for a glimpse of the cache an easier find was made as it appears that the cache had fallen from it's lofty heights. (My kind of tree climb cache! ) Luckily GJMMelb was with me who was a previous finder - and a more agile climber than I - and he volunteered to return it to the GZ as best he remembered. I think it should be pretty safe there, and seemed right for the terrain rating. TFTC
Found this one today. I had been here before but couldn't find it then. I think this one may be a case of the cache having moved or else I couldn't see the wood for the trees. Today I decided to search for this one from the ground first and located easily. I then changed shoes and retrieved the cache snd signed log.
Thanks for the cache nadya.
Thanks for the cache nadya.
quick find, being on my way from the waste transfer station
park empty which made pick up easy.
Thanks nadya

Thanks nadya
I had great fun looking for this one. I ended up climbing much higher than I needed too - which was half the fun. TFTC
Nice climb had to do it twice after dropping the lid and having to retrieve it TFTC.
I have looked for this cache about 5 times. Granted it was in the dark and rain on a few of those ocassions. Finally found it. Feel like an idiot. It was right there!!!
No luck for suscoe today.
Did meet a friendly neighbour who used to do letterboxing in the UK.
She knew about geocaching through her sister.
Will have to come back another time.

Spotted this one along time ago but alas no pen! Finally another visit pen in hand. No way I'm risking life & limb so Jimmytherat scurried up to collect this one. Nice work! TFTC
TFTC Nadya and husky. Reminds me of the Australian short story Been There Before. Noelle04 and Jimmytherat found this cache Some time ago but without And writing implement, so we couldn't log it. Second time here, writing implement in hand and the log is signed and container back in its spot. Gave Noelle04 the heebie jeebies getting off the ground to retrieve this cache. But Jimmytherat is a sure-footed rat and no probs getting up and down.
In the time it took me to walk the 800m here from work the day went from slightly overcast, to bucketing rain, to clear blues skies with a gentle breeze. Gotta love Melbourne. TFTC.
