Unfortunately we also have to add our name to the list of DNF's on this one. We gave it a good search before throwing in the towel and moving on.
Was out and about with mlroberts73 tonight cache hunting and I didn't find this one after some serious looking, mlroberts73 had been here before and found it, tonight she confirmed it's definitely gone after looking for herself after much head scratching from me.
We looked and we looked but no success today. A really busy spot with muggles appearing from everywhere.
Out and about to up our culmative finds for the month to make sure we always find more caches than the month before. Tftc
Thanks for a great day out we had fun
I Made the kids get out of the house and get some fresh air

Find #19, had trouble with my phone gps spinning out, but once I read a couple of logs to see that this is a magnetic one was a quick find. Found in good order, TFTC.
What a delightful little trail highlighting some of the history of the area. Now after these easy ones on a flat surface onwards and upwards to Zode in the Road!
As I pulled up hear I saw a familiar sign at a nearby hall. Had an idea where this one would be but GPS was jumping. Still managed to find however. Replaced plastic bag as bag was broken and log was damp. TFTC

As today was our last day in Wangaratta for a while we had to brave the weather whatever it had to offer. It would have been nice to ride to these caches if the weather had been more favourable.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to mvyrmnd for the hunt.

Suscoe's 29th find of 37 for today.
It was a tale of two halves today, before lunch steady rain, after lunch a bit of sun and wind.
After a nice lunch we headed out in some sunshine and a fine afternoon greeted us.
A quick find here and all was good.
Thanks to mvyrmnd for placing this cache here.

Found at 12:31 PM GAFF1. While waiting for our brand new van to be "fixed" at the Wangaratta Caravan dealer, we meandered around the town looking for a few caches. When we got to GZ, we thought that it was going to be in the structure that caught our eyes right from the start, but after a quick check, we headed over to the more traditional hiding spot
It was also a beautiful day to go around and find caches in these lovely reserves and parks - everything was so bright.
Thanks mvyrmnd.

Found on our 2013 Geelong Christmas trip. Had to drive into Wangaratta in order to get to the Great Alpine Rd, so another cache was the go. Heard about this series from you when you came down for the Spring Time - Trivia Time event in Canberra, and thought that I would give one of the caches a try. A quick drive from the main road to this beautiful park. Lovely vegetation and serenity. Once at GZ it was a quick find. Nice hide. Will eventually get the whole series - one cache at a time. TFTC mvyrmnd!
We had some time to kill while getting some work done on our van so we decided to visit a few of the local caches. Facilities are always a welcome diversion for one half of our team. TFTC.
After a sensational steak sandwich at the Milawa Cheese Factory, we got on the bike to ride it off!! Along the 27km trek to Wangaratta we collected 20 caches.
This was #18 for the day, looked in the same place twice before we discovered it was there - quickly signed log and moved on as the sun was fast disappearing.

Quick find on this one on one of the meandering creek trails which snake through Wang,

We love these hides, just a quick park & grab.

With our niece's 21st over, we'd arranged to meet my parents for a coffee after checking out of the motel. For once, we were pretty close to getting there at the agreed time, and, miracle of miracles, first to arrive. My niece had vowed that she would also make an appearance, and been laughed at last night... I'd have been surprised if she was conscious yet, let alone sober enough to make her way to the town centre.
Now, I love my family, but after driving for several hours to get here yesterday, the prospect of twice as much time cooped up together later today, and being sociable at last night's festivities, I needed some alone-time. So, out I headed, armed with a decent caffeine fix, of course.
If I'd been placing bets on when the call to head back to the others would come, this would have been where the smart money would have been. Sure enough, the SMS intruded upon the podcast I was enjoying as I reached the furthest point from the car.
Fortunately, it was an easy find, hampered only by the dog walker passing right at the time I arrived.

A few muggles out on bikes today but when the coast was clear it was a quick enough find. Found with Happy pants and Moosetash. Thanks again mvyrmnd.
Quick find in between the muggles making full use of the trail on this brisk afternoon. Thanks for the cache.
Found at 2:02:00 PM with Roostaman while slowly making our way to Echuca after attending the events in Albury at the weekend.

Wangaratta Area 2013 with Mtrax. With so much going on in town today the parks seemed very quiet. Another deserted park and a quick find. Thanks.

A fine and dandy, shady spot in the midday heat for a fizzy cola and poke for a cache
But that BIG black and white thing was like a magnet in an Eclipse tin and attracted me like a bee to nectar
It took a while, but I finally decided that the cache was not there and I should ignore it and look where it wasn't directing my attention for the prize

My first in this 1 mile creek series. And looking forward to finding more as I discover the creek and parklands in Wangaratta. Thanks for the cache mvyrmnd
After a great Christmas at home with the kids, the girlfriend and I headed up to her sister's place in Lima. After a few windy and hot days up there I get a call from my fellow The Demolition Crew team member RebelActs who syas he'll be visiting the area with CrazyNatGirl! We decide to plan a day of caching in the Wangaratta area, and hit the easy drive-by's. I'm so sorry for the generic log, but given I'm over 200 logs behind (no internet or pc for the last few weeks) this is all I can manage. Thanks to all the CO's and their efforts.
This was, cache # 48 of 85 finds for the day in the Company of Trailrunning. A quick drive by on this one. My thanks to mvyrmnd for the cache.
Jared needed some driving hours...I needed some caching time....good compromise resulted in a great day's caching
Couldn't do the cache at the Traffic School as place was swarming with muggles...so moved onto this one.....easily found.....and facilities located with much relief

Nice walk from the last cache to GZ and had a good idea where this one would be but had to wait for traffic before I could retrieve it. Checked the spot and came up empty handed so tried a few other likely spots……….Nothing and the gps kept dragging me back to the original spot. Decided to have another look and spotted it straight away the sun must have been in my eyes the first time. tnlnslt4tc
Mizzjane and I arrived in Wangarrata after traverling from Albury, I had been caching on the way down.
Mizzjane wanted to have a bit of rest so I went to a do a cache or two.
I ended up doing 26 caches & finding 25. (the bulk being in Wangaratta)
This was the 24th of the 26.
I had finshed doing the Purple Power Path series and grab this when back in town.
Time was getting on, I had to get back to the motel & get changed for a party tonight. What the heck one more cache will do
I started my drive in the heat of the day , I soon arrived a GZ.
I had a look around and soon located the well concealed cache at 17:32.

Found by Mary & David at 1330. We passed a nasty collision in Murdoch Rd on the way to GZ. The ambulance and a tow truck were already there and, as we parked, a fire truck came by followed by the police and a second tow truck. Situation under control. Another attractive area by the creek. No issues with the cache. Our thanks to mvyrmnd.

Back in Wang for the second time today, this time with Mrs H, Little and Micro Ez to make a few finds.
Was in stealth mode for this one as a couple were walking across the road. Made the grab without anyone noticing, not much traffic either.
Quick easy P&G, TFTC, Cheers.

We headed out to Wangaratta for our first time geocaching in the area.
We were really impressed with the number of geocaches around for us to find.
Had our record day of finds of 41 finds.
We really appreciated all the hides the local cachers have done in the town.

One of 63 finds for the day along with bogonghazy enroute to home after spending the last few days caching Wang & beyond. It was still icy cold when we arrived here this morning, but that didn't deter the search. Thanks for this one too mvyrmnd.
A really nice ride along this trail. It felt we weren't in the suburbs at all.
