Logs
I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi doandhopers
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards
TheCoddiwompler

No response from the CO after multiple dnfs and a needs maintenance so this needs to go.
We were on a mission today to try and get some DNFs out there, this one has alluded us, the likely suspect didn't come up trumps.
Roadtrip time, day 5.
I have used the Easter weekend combined with taking 4 days leave this week to get in a 9-day driving tour, hoping to get as far north as 90 mile beach in order to seek the recently published PWGT caches throughout Northland, as well as catch up with 4 different sets of friends.
Today marks the start of the proper Geocaching side to this road trip. I am traveling from Auckland over to the Coromandel before heading back up north again over the next few days.
This gives me another chance to visit a few more south Auckland caches on the way. I'm slowly working my way through them.
So much garbage gets discarded here! Had a good search around the obvious locations, but no joy. Not helped by such a generic Hint for a D1.5 cache!

Three of us spent quite some time searching. So much rubbish everywhere and the hint really didn't help
#7657. I was heading out to the Hunua Ranges this afternoon to find the old geocache that is hidden out there. But got a bit waylaid en route picking up a few caches that showed up on my GPS. This was one of them. Parked around the corner and headed into the trees. Soon spied the likely hiding place and yes there was the cache. Signed the logbook and returned the cache as found. Thanks doandhopers for hiding it here.
Area needs a CITO indeed, we approached from the wrong side but made the find anyway TFTC! And merry Xmas
Found on our TA thru-hike. We thought this one was rather difficult; it is NOT near, or even in site of, the nearby house.
First find by myself and put in a Families of our Fallen key ring. This is in remembrance of our fallen NZ Army soldiers.
Good find, hint of behind was good. FoF (key ring for Families of the Fallen ) left. NZ Army Fallen soldiers.
Finished a course for the day. Out with 2 novice caches who a getting the 'bug'//
Was a bit difficult to find as lots of rubbish litters the area otherwise was a good hunt looking for this cache
Just going out for a walk and check to see that there is a geo cache nearby. Spend the next 10 minutes finding a micro sized container. It was so fun
Heading to Duders Regional Park for the day, picking up a few caches in the process. Took a slight detour to find this as the blue face has lingered far too long. Not a nice hide due to the amount of rubbish strewn everywhere. Could benifit from its own CITO. Enough said. Kiwi found the cache, sogned and now we have the smiley face.
Time for another wander round while my wife stays with some friends. I was a little lonely today but still managed a good haul which included this little cache. Found quickly thanks to a good hint, accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Cheers & TFTC
Driving up north today so no time to walk the circuit but this was an easy drive by.

Nice and easy find. Did not have to care about the rubbish lying around to find this one. Pew. Found on the first morning after the school holidays. I treated myself with caching on a nice and sunny day of spring. Aaaah. Thanks for hiding. TFTC
Attended geocaching Event in Papakura this morning and decided to stay in the area to find a few local caches it was one of them.
Took a while to find right spot. Went too deep ...
All good at GZ.

Find number 4129. I was passing so decided to stop and have a look. There was nobody around so was able to slip undercover easily. This done I was able to search in peace. Just as well as I was searching in the wrong area. After having no luck I stood and considered options and tried something different and there it was. Decided to take further in for signing. Thankfully as a muggle walked by as I was doing that. Returned and exited on the side road. Thank you for the placement.
I have already been here another day but couldn't find anything. I thought it was gone but after the previous logs I gave it another try. And today I could find it in seconds, not really hard, but I was focused on another place last time.
Thanks for hiding!

We are out today with our Guide Unit, Kiwiriki Guides . . . . . . finding caches for our badge . . . . . we had to go into the bushes . . . . we looked for a while . . . .and then Aria found it . . . . . TFTC . . . there is loads of rubbish here
I found this but with a little bit of hunting and branches in my face! The area needs cleaning a lot though.
So thrilling to change a frown to a smilie!.
Was here 2 years ago....
But gave up hunting as was getting a bit dark.
Today I tried again....and soon found it !
Very happy !
Thanks for this !!! All good!

Dear Cache Owners,
I am a German guy who stays in New Zealand for eight months.
My English is not perfect, so please don't wonder or be angry if my log entries sound a bit strange. Thanks!
----------
Couldn't find this one either, but I can offer the Owner to replace a new little box. Please contact me for that.
Best regards!

A bit of trash at site. Will come when prepared to CITO. Hunted but did not find.
Took some newbie cachers to find their local but failed. Some of the trees have had recent pruning , not sure if this is a factor.
Cycled down here today for some caches in the hope of reaching 50 finds. This was a quick find, it was in exactly the place I thought it would be. Nice day for it TFTC
Didn't take too long to spot the cache. Not a nice area with all the rubbish around. Log signed as b&p.Tftc doandhopers. Find # 3070
A nice weekend Queen's Birthday wander near our new home, ticking off a couple of caches. Shame about all the litter but a good find
Took a minute or two to decide on an approach but once that was sorted the cache was soon in hand. Thanks .
Tempting to approach this from what seems to be the private side but better to do it from the more public side. Quickly located.
Was in the area for work, so decided to get this cache then stop for lunch.
I always love jumping out of bushes while cars are coming by :-p

Found. No travel bugs though, although the inventory says there was. Log soaking wet and mouldy, completely unreadable/ unwritable and falling apart. Replaced it and put new log in snaplock bag.
Found with my Mum, NewlynFam. Have now created my own account so am logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
We also found this one while out with our friends, 3-girls as we were introducing them to geocaching.

Found down the bank in the bushes with other rubbish. Put it back where we think it belongs, going by the hint. Log is soaked but managed to sign it.
12.45pm - On a road trip to pick up a few necessary and maybe some bonus caches with the Squirrel. SLTFTC
A Dot Day... The mission for today: find mid-level D Rated caches. Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I are heading to South Auckland. Everything in between is fair game... Our main targets are Marmis' Challenge Caches (the ones we've qualified for). However, as we were driving through the countryside, we discovered others where we also met the target...
The rain began to fall much more heavily, so we pulled alongside ground zone which was more sheltered. A quick scout around through the bushes and the hide was revealed. TFTC.

super little find while going for a morning walk left Lulu ladybug so hopefully she will be moved on quickly
Quick find for Mr NZT while visiting the nearby cemetery. I was still rummaging around the undergrowth while Mr was signing the log! TFTC
Found a click clack container, not a tic tac mint one. Log was a bit damp, but could still write on it - think it just needs a bit of sun and air. TFTC.
Heading back home from our old home town of 15 years ago. Stopped off for this one for old times sake. We actually know the Gatlands and still have contact with a good friend. Log was damp but still able to be written on easily enough. Road was a little busy at 5 pm but with a little patience managed to do the business without being muggled. TFTC

We have only a couple of days left in Auckland so headed down Drury way to find a few challenge caches.
This was a bonus cache we found on our drive along the quiet countryside.
A nice quick find
Thanks for placing this cache doandhopers
