Had a good look. Moved lots of bark. Duh around the tree that’s remaining after it looks like others have been removed. No cache to be seen. Couldn’t miss the fish though.
Looks like some of the trees at GZ and the surrounding cover (including the cache camo) have been removed.
Out and about exploring Whyalla with CAD- decided to work on the August Power trail today .... Grabbed this on our way T4TC:)
A long way from our home in WA. Just a quick stop to look at the ship and pick up a sneaky geocache.
A quick find while checking out the opening times for the nearby information centre.

Found while after spending week end in Whyalla an attending a Dinner event in Whyalla, so doing a few caches before we leave Whyalla. Now that's a Big Boat But think you need a Bigger Car TFTC
After visiting the information centre for, well tourist information, we checked the GPS. One just across there. Great! It's always appreciated when you can nab two birds with one stop. TFTC Moneydork.

Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Moneydork.
We found this cache on our Northern road trip, which was to celebrate my significant birthday. We saw some great places, met some wonderful people and slept through some 3 dog nights. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and finding caches made the trip more memorable – Thank you and ……Joy to the World!!
Quick find, expect this to be harder as it seems like a heavy muggle area but there were none today!
Found along with SnapHappy, The Empire and Wozzle, we signed the logs as Team Vic. We saw some awesome sights along our short trip, and this was one of them. My thanks to Moneydork for the cache, and for bringing us here this morning.
[Red]I apologise for the late log... Problems with GSAK and crashed computer...[/Red]

Such a strange sight as soon as I spotted I just knew there would be a cache here. Picked up this one on our way out of town today before heading back to the Adelaide area. Found with Sully1, Snaphappy and The Empire logging as team Vic thanks for the cache and the contribution to Geocaching.
Found by Mary & David, in company with pprass (signed as m & p), at 1705. Nothing quite as sad as a beached ship. Impressive information boards nearby. Pleased to see all the Defence Force Cadet facilities. Our second day on the FTF PT, and we had better results than yesterday. Our thanks to Moneydork.
Found at 5:03 PM in the company of maccamob. We signed the log book as "M & P".
We remember coming here in 2011 doing a cache nearby that took a bit of time to find. Today we found the replacement very easily and wondered how on earth it has survived in such a place!
Thanks Moneydork.

Day sixty eight of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747.
A short stop over at Whyalla for the Cuttlefish!
Spent the morning up at Stony Point and cached our way back home.
Our first for the morning. We dropped in here to get instructions about the cuttlefish from the Visitors Centre (they were very helpful)
Grabbed the cache while we were here.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 8369. We planned to come to Whyalla on our return trip specifically to swim with the cuttlefish and today was the day!!!! Rather cloudy and cold but after much discussion we finally donned our full suits and took the snorkels and fins and braved the water at Stony Point. It was worth every cold minute to see these wonderful creatures up close and personal. I definitely hope to do it again. After this experience it was on to caching....
This was our first cache for the day as we gathered the information for our trip to Cuttlefish Drive. A quick find while Rob disappeared inside. The HMAS Wyalla will have to wait for another visit.
Thanks Moneydork
