Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
The letterbox is gone, we will replace once the damage to the track from the mega is a little more repaired, we replaced the log book post mega which is missing however we will return the cache soon possibly with the original log book. I am not sure how the last finder found the cache since some rather experienced cachers have not found it in a little while and it is kinda hard to miss?

We did'nt find this one - though not for the want of trying.
We spent to long looking i really think the CO should have a look for themselves and confirm our thoughts.

Had a travel bug that wanted to move on,
so thought a letterbox might help it along.
Either this is well hidden or definitely lost.
Saw an unusual landmark, but hope was squashed.
Searched half an hour amongst the leaves,
until it was time for us to leave.
Looked upto Fifteen metres around,
but this one wasn't to be found.
So taking this travel bug and phone
all the way back to our home.

Thurgoona is becoming a Letterbox hub! If the cache owner does not object, perhaps I could donate a stamp to this letterbox?
Love the decadent sized cache log book! But it is in dire need of a plastic bag if it is to survive the winter. Unfortunately I didn't have one on me.
Thanks for the cache, in an excellent location

In Albury for a couple of days
Used my TOMTOM to find my way around. It took me the long way and on the wrong side of the park. finally made it GZ.
I made the walk up the well defind GEO trail for the cache and signed the log.
Nice area.

On a beautiful autumns day we were clearing up a few of the newer caches that have popped up in the area. A nice quick find by Mr V who duly signed the log. A family cycled past completely oblivious to us standing in the bush. TFTC. Cheers.
Hummmm! Nice quick LBH to end the day with. With the weather being a tad ordinary we were making our way toward home. Found with Troobloo. Made our mark TNLN T4TC
Found with Coruze. The geotrails from the Mega are fading and the area is starting to look it's natural self.
Left as found.

Drove to round about and did not the area above this and sied at least four horses being led. Drove away to do another. Came back thirty minutes later and after a short walk was writing in log. TFTC
#2569 Our one and only cache for the day which was purely an "off the cuff" find utilizing only telephone technology, however we soon put it away as the evidence of hoards of people who have visited GZ over the past few days was very apparent . We didn't have our stamp with us but it didn't seem to matter as there wasn't a stamp at GZ either. We don't know whether it was hidden as intended but we left it as found. Our thanks to the lost wanderers for the cache.
3724th total find at around 15:22
The Mega event is now history, and everyone has gone home except us. - - - Yes we are still hanging around and caching in the Albury area.
As this one was nice and close we decided that it would be nice to stroll up the track and grab it. We didn't have any trouble as there was a "geo trail" right up to GX. Hopefully the are will return to its pristine condition now that the hoardes have left.

Found on the Oz Mega long weekend in Albury Wodonga with my Schatzy. Surprisingly this was our second of three letterbox caches in one day a record in itself, on a our quest to achieve nine cache types in one day. Grabbed it on the way to Yackandandah for the Flashmob event after leaving the CITO and Mega camping grounds.

Find # 1634
Today was day five of a massive adventure weekend caching in the Albury Wadonga region as well as incorporating the OZ Mega event. I would be spending most of my time with Team Kwokka (Brother and Sister in Law) as well as my caching mate and partner in crime, SedgwickDave
Our aim today was to find as many different cache types as possible with a target of 10 types.
Cache #3 - Letterbox
We left the Oz Mega event campgrounds at the Equestrian centre and headed for this one. A short walk later, I had found my second Letterbox.
Thanks to the lost wanderers for this letterbox.

Found at 9.30pm GAFF1. A group of us went out for dinner at the Kinross Hotel - a pretty good meal was enjoyed. After dinner and on the way home Phetlern kindly took us to do this cache which was on the way back to camp. We stumbled in the dark for a while, butthen the missing box was discovered.

The Albury- Wodonga Oz Mega had ended with showers of both prizes and fireworks.
With many fellow cachers we did a flash dash to Yack' where we were also able to add our name to the Around Anzac cache and enjoy a roam around the historic hamlet.
We found the missing letter box as we returned to Albury. Not sure that it fits the prescription for a Letter Box type cache though!
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt The lost wanderers.

Great letterbox,I will have to put out one of these so fellow geocachers can do what I am trying to do,this is my sixth different style of caching activity so far today.tftc
Our last cache in Albury, sadly we have to head back home, but there enough caches left to entice us back for another weekend! A quick walk up the hill, GPSr not needed as the geotrail was clear for all to see, I don't think this letterbox will stay lost for long, glad we managed to find it! Thanks The lost wanderers for the cache

On our way to Albury for easter mega caching. Caching with the Walenators and my earthbound family. TFTC
Visiting from Mandurah, WA, for the Oz Mega, and having a wonderful time visiting all the sights around here that caching is taking me to. There has been so much happening since then that I am struggling to log them all, and already two weeks have passed, so am regretfully having to do a 'bulk' log.
This was a wonderful find in the bush though. Happily a local was on hand to give the necessary info and then I stamped the log book. Thanks for the cache The lost wanderers, and another favourite point from me.

Found in the company of the Walenators, The Earthbound crew, Datruk and coley_babee (and several other teams) on day 4 of our caching blitz at the 2012 OZ Mega.
After the flashmob, several teams joined in the hunt to find this cache.

We do like to avail ourselves of the rarer icons when out and about so when this one popped up on the radar, it was a must have before heading back to Brisbane... [^]
Out and about with Kaisho53, we struggled to get a park at the intersection and had to nip away for another cache and come back. It was like central station when we hit the area and there was a steady stream of hunters in both directions on the path... There was no point putting the cache away...
The previous hunters did however try feverishness to cover up the cache before we got there. Sadly, the ankle biters were not quick enough and had to wave the white flag as we arrived... We nipped in for the log and dropped names and stickers in. Camo about to be applied, the next lot were inbound so why bother... I'm sure this one went for quite a while with successive visitors... Just as any good cache should...
Cheers Lost Wanderers.

Hmmm, I'm not sure what happened here & now I'm really confused.... I was caching with urch all weekend, but didn't have this cache in my find list, so it appears my iPad log was not saved properly - I will need to be more careful in future.

This was to have been my first cache for the day due to it's close proximity to Oz mega however another SA caching team sidetracked me so it became my second locus cache.

Our second letterbox for the Oz Mega with Nimma, mr_roo, Cadda76 & Dr FOD and we had seen cachers coming up here the day before and thought it must be the solution to a puzzle we hadn't solved as we had nothing on our GPSr's.
We discovered overnight that there was a new cache here published that wasn't in our pocket queries and it was another letterbox. Once at GZ the kids made the obvious find and them managed to just re-hide it as the next group arrived. TFTC

This cache was the second find on our last day at the MEGA.
I actually got a notification for this when it was published as I was crazy enough to set up notifications for Letterboxes . I saw how close it was to the MEGA though so I knew I would be the 20th to find it by the time we got there. Today we came over to this area to do a final clear out and this was the next on the radar after the nearby puzzle. We enjoyed the short walk on this cold morning and even got a trig point while we were here. When we were at GZ it was an easy find of a nice big container. Nice work lost wanderers . Thanks for bringing us here and for another letterbox hybrid.

Wandering around Albury as part of the Oz Mega I came across this lost letterbox. Checked it out for a letter advising of a Lotto win but nothing like that in the box. So settled for signing the log. TFTC The lost wanderers.
This cache certainly was popular and seemed to have a regular queue of cars at the GZ when we found it, during the OzMega weekend, last find before heading off to the Flash mob
Stopped and grabbed this cache with a couple of other cachers on the way to the Flash Mob event. It’s a nice walk along the trail to this cache. SL. TFTC.
17th of 34 on our OZ MEGA 2012 trip. Was originally going to do the GCA trig, but when we got to the parking spot, we found fitzy_1965 in his car. Nice to see you again. He said that there was a letterbox hybrid here, so we joined forces to go find it. A very easy find, with a pretty cool container. Nice idea and area. TFTC The lost wanderers!
Wow, that was unexpected. Found with O319 and a heap of others just before the Flashmob...
Another cache found with Just a cacher during the OZ Mega at Albury. A quick find after a short walk. This little fellow is lost no more.

The last find for the day, thanks for the find. Our second letterbox for the day. Also a nice spot for an evening stroll
In Albury/Wodonga for the Oz Mega event. We didnt have many caches on our to-do list, but this was one that we wanted to do.
Out for a spot of caching on the Sunday night with Steeba we made the short drive from the mega over to this one. The well worn path made this one an easy find.
Thanks

Found with Black Bunny on our OzMega odyssey. Candy Cane 101 accompanied us on the trip, but didn't show a lot of enthusiasm for caches - there was a lad within hailing distance. I had a few back problems related to the camp bed, I think, so I missed a few, too.
One of the caches on my wishlist for the OZ Mega event. So I did this one on foot from the equestrian center first thing in the morning.

Our third day of Oz Mega 2012 and picking up a number of caches as we do the Hume Hovell Adventure game taking us around the area. Great idea and so far good fun team caching with a number of other teams all helping each other out.
This was a bonus cache for us as we had overlooked it until talking to a team at the final of "Curly" nearby. A quick walk and quick find enabled 5 different cache types in 1 day for us.

This cache was one of the many grabbed on my 4 day trip to the OzMega Event. We arrived on Friday at midday and left at Midday on Monday and cached between when we where not socializing with other teams. This trip was also a shakedown for a new tent trailer we had purchased for camping. Besides the bike rack breaking on my trailer on the way up it all went well. PT539 also got a similar trailer to mine. He had trouble with his water tank.
We tried at a FTF at this one but got 4th place. We where not exactly quick to this one.. We could note find the required stamp in the cache that makes it a letterbox hybrid.
