Out for a Sunday drive while TheTravellerJnr is napping, quik find but the log is a bit damp TFTC
Living locally thought we would find a fee local caches as a school holiday thing to do.
Nice quickie. Had washed out from hiding hole. Put back where I think it was....CO might want to check
Had a thorough look around all the fenceposts and couldn't spot it. Looks like the area has been well cleaned out recently, may pay to check on it.
*Another good find.
Nice day going from cache to cache with woolwood9.*
We soon had the container located. SL: **tm/ww NZ**
Thanks for putting this out for us to visit!
We enjoyed the drive / walk around!

The hint said fence post a stay would be more accurate. Watch out for the electric fence it woke me up! Thanks.
And a peaceful rest coming to me soon. Left my calling card here. Cheers.
Friday 6 November. We are off exploring Waituna Lagoon and Seawards Downs today. Its a beautiful sunny day today.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Long grass made for a bit of searching but got there.
Amazing what old bits of history are dotted around the country side.

Cache 34 ️nice easy find. Never knew this was here pretty cool we gravestone rich in history. Log was wet but luckily it’s the paper that if you wet it’s still usable, dried it the best I could before putting it back Just enough room to add a tiny tiny rock bug to cache T4TC
only 1 more cache to go and MATM will be completed by me, quick park and grab here TFTC
A quick and easy find. Cheers
Easter holidays, and a road trip to Milford Sound. Today we drove around Southland: Winton, Gore and Invercargill, with lovely weather for the day, and lovely Southland countryside.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Getting close to the end of the day. Had plenty of successful caches, a trip to Eastern Southland art gallery and managed some craftwork. An evening glow looking toward Bluff hill and Rakiura. Tftc
We are on our summer holiday driving around the South Island with no real idea of where we will end up each day. We are often drawn to an area that has the potential to give us a few geocaching smilies and somewhere we have not spent time exploring before. In some cases we are revisiting placed that we have been before but liked so much we are going there again.
A peaceful but dusty place to rest.
The cache was a quick find, signed the log and returned it as we found it.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Lovely morning visiting my niece down the road so took opportunity to grab quick find.Tftc
Tidied and dried out cache, replaced log with waterproof logbook. Good to go. Happy caching
There are quite a lot of solitary memorials to be found dotted around the countryside. All was done and cache was replaced with peace and quiet. Thank you to chosen1978 for placing this cache, which was found by a couple of touring Aussies who are on a very wet tour of New Zealand.
A lovely Southland summer day, so off to see how many I can get - aiming for 2000 by end of year.
Thanks for the smilie.
Reasonably quick find, film container size but not a type I'd seen, and has gained a raincoat. Signed the original strips of paper, not the additional ones added at the beginning of this year.
Nice that the cairn has been erected. Wonder what was here before it was.

Took a little while to find this - not really a place to search in work clothes... on well earns my gold . Left a 2l surprise in area which CO will like.
Quick stop and go. It seems to have been somewhat common practise to bury pioneers in their own property. TFTC.
A lot of "never been traveled on" gravel roads today. Thanks for the tiki tour, and the history.
We wondered where the GPS was taking us - to a nice memorial. Thanks for taking us down a less travelled road. Found with Aoaki Sheep.
On our way to an event at Invercargill and taking the back roads as we go. Found with debsnz
Interesting stop in the pitch dark, I am not even sure why we came down this road in particular. What a great spot though! We eventually found the cache, then read the memorial, before heading into the menacing fog. TFTC!!
I had thought this was going to be another cemetery cache so was pleasantly surprised. TFTC #8899
Had a look at the before I found [The Four Seasons Church](http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=e7514d05-5443-4e06-8626-ad18c4697ed7) but couldn't find it. Had to be quick as there was a tractor making baleage on the roadside as well. Will look again.
I like the South Island where you have gravel roads so close to the main road! In the north island they are so much harder to find. Nice quiet spot to stop on the way home today
Nice interesting spot, not so peaceful after we arrived! Caught up in sheep traffic on the way. Thanks.
Quick find but difficult to retrieve the logbook. But finally managed to sign the cache. Thanks for bringing us to this place.
A couple of half days down south. Lots of new caches since I was here last. Thanks for hiding them!
Nice little church, no idea where we ended up. Dropped off trackable I got at nugget point.

I found it with Blair, who gives me a ride to this place in the dark. He wants to know what is it Geocaching, so maybe he will join the geocaching community soon.
Found with torch. Easy one. Not so many people using the road.

Nice surrounding of farm, easy to find (mainly as there was foot prints from what looks like a fellow geocacher)
Interesting cairn odd place for burial TFTC
