I was out today walking another section on the Monster Lane to collect fuel for the Cosmic Quest. In all I found 8 traditionals, 1 DNF, 1 did not attempt and finished on a multi cache. I also picked up 13 TBs from one of the caches.Find number 5 today. TFTC
I had a plan to get some caches with a fellow cacher but due to illness that didnt happen. The littlest Turmoil was accounted for so I wanted to get the bigger Turmoil out of the house, getting some sunshine and exercise. I have been looking at this Monster Lane bike ride for years and decided today would be the day. We only completed the section near the bridge and boy my legs were aching at night considering it was a short ride and an easy ride. Most caches were found quickly and without any interesting events/memories. Some, however, were a different story. Was expecting more surrounding rocks. But two still gives the plural word.
Nice hide, great container! Love this trail barbbowman! Cache #23 today on an afternoon ride. TFTC!
Trotzdem nochmals meinen Dank und liebe Gre von den deutschen Caradoos google-translate: I cycled almost 25 km today and earned lots of yellow smilies. This treasure was there. The round was fun. Thank you very much for that.Unfortunately, some logbooks were damp, wet or even impossible to write on - perhaps a round of maintenance is in order.Nevertheless, my thanks again and kind regards from the German Caradoos
This morning we went for a short walk along the cycle path.We found lots of caches.Thank you for the Cache saysTeam sissifalke

Our last day in the area before heading home, out on the bikes yesterday and again today, unfortunately we have lost our bike toughness, and there are a couple of sensative areas that we now need to work with. A great little series today, all containers found and in good condition. Will give a couple of fav points for the series randomly. Especially this month as the CO will get those points for the challenge.
Thanks barbbowman for the caches.

A morning bike ride to conquer a few more on Monster Lane. High muggle area this morning, was asked multiple times if I was ok . TFTC
Today we decided that we would hunt for monsters. We mounted our iron horses and armed with pens , tweezers and zip lock bags we set out.
All caches were found in good condition.
We had a great morning and loved the scenery along the waterfront.
Thanks for all your work on this series.

I have access to LeDeVine for the day so decided it was time to find some “Monsters”… with the bike in the back, I ignored Geepers about parking on the Deagon Deviation and instead parked on Pomona Street…
A nice morning for a ride…
I’d like to say this was a quick find… but it wasn’t… I walked past the cache more than once, even touching “that”… it was a closer inspection that revealed the container…

Were walking up and down trying to find this one until Squirrellette finally spotted an out of place rock
TFTC Yay back on track of finds again. With RCTolly 23. Thanks to previous cachers for new log and zip lock.
Found it with Duppers. Log was soaked so replaced with dry sheet and a click seal bag. 14th for the day.
Good find by Shazzar66. It was a little trickier than it should have been. Shazzar66 added a new log inside a ziplock bag, as the previous one was soaked. TFTC
At long last the day is here. Monster lane has been on my one day list for some time now well since I started caching really. I was catching up with swearah last week and we saw the new ones come through which got us talking about monster lane. Let's do it, let's go next week! So here we are one week later. Initially we were going to take the deadly treadlys but I managed to borrow some electric scooters to make the trip.
With the hint in mind we did a quick scan with our geosenses and spotted the cache for another quick find. Loving the trip along the lane today. Tftc barbbowman

Another Monstery find by jodsta83 here. I’m so blind at the moment. I'd better pick up my act and do some helping!
Thanks for the cache, barbbowman

Today, I started out with a visit to Tinchi Tamba wetlands, with the main objective of following a Wherigo waypoint, but it was also a good excuse to grab a new challenge cache.
After repositioning my vehicle, I headed out by bike along the Deagon Deviation Bikeway to grab a number of *Monster Lane* series geocaches, riding from Brighton Park to Bracken Ridge Road. It was then an opportunity to grab litter at the Brighton Park CITO event.
I closed out the day by driving around Newport as per the *Newport Canal* series. Unfortunately, the rain arrived in patches as I spent a few hours doing this series, in which I ended up opting for my Jeep over my planned bike ride around.
I had loaded my bike in preparation to ride this series this morning prior to the CITO. There were a few cyclists using the track today, and I seemed to get concerning eyes from each passing cyclist thinking I needed maintenance to have pulled over in a random location along the bike lane. I managed to find most of these caches from #32 to #17 without too much difficulty, although there were a few that I had issues with.
After arriving at this geocache, I managed to find this one reasonably quickly, as a sneaky little hide. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks barbbowman for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

30/12/21 Find #5242
oday found me heading to Brighton Park for a CITO event. And with no hard and fast plans for afterwards, it only made sense that I grab a few caches once done. First I cleared off the Hornibrook in rather woeful weather with Crew153, then met up with SaintsMadHouse and ZacGyver for some ice-cream.
Having said farewell to them, I decided this afternoon would be a good time to finally just pluck another one or two off this section of Monster Lane - one day I will actually complete said mission!
I was kicking myself for leaving my pack in the car today, as the logsheet was damp, and I unfortunately didn’t have any on me to do a maintenance job with, but did manage to make my mark.
Thanks for the cache barbbowman.

Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Having fun on the trail Thanks for the cache
That’s a sneaky one, glad I knew what I was looking for from past logs. The logbook was soaking wet so I have put in some new paper.
Out and about after a very full on weekend, geopup and I took a long walk along the pathway to find a couple of the remaining unfound caches in the Monster Lane series.
This one took a bit to find, my phone wasn't sure, after reading some previous logs I found myself in the right place with a cache! Log signed and cache replaced as found.
Thanks barbbowman for this fantastic series ... I must be getting close to finishing now.

After yesterday’s caching on this series I was determined to finish this trail off today. I grabbed the bike and suggested to Charli to grab her bike and lets go for a bike ride for a couple of hours. It took some convincing but she finally relented and came for the ride.
I love caching with my girls and once I get them out they have a fun day, today was no exception. With a ride along collecting smilies and having lots of laughs, it was a great father daughter time. We did every second cache to the end and the rest on the way back. As we started our way back from reaching the last cache we noticed a huge storm in front of us, so it was a race back to collect the remaining caches and back to the car.
We completed the remaining caches and enjoyed this series of caches, Thank you BarbBowan for the great series and the fun I got today. All good with all the caches we got today.

I had the opportunity to get out on the bikes with La Kedi again today. She graciously agreed to accompany me along the bikeway to Redcliffe even though she had previously found the majority of the caches along there. Great way to spend the morning. TFTC barbbowman
Found with TrickyT. We are now on the second half of the trail. Tricky is well on top of the scooter and zooming flat out between caches, the new mustang is going great guns. Tricky gave me use of his electric bike which I am mastering well. No crashes yet, these are magic machines, beat peddle power any day.
All good here with your cache. Thanks for placing for our enjoyment

Now that was tricky. Paper all wet so put a new piece in in a small plastic bag. TFTC
Despite the rain today, I was still about to get the pushbike out and grab a few caches with the geokid. We managed 10/14 - there were a few GZ's where she felt uncomfortable and we opted to continue. Neither of us had been on the bike for a while, but it was great to stretch the legs and get up a few clicks. Only a few left on Monster Lane for us now! Thanks so much Barb for placing these caches, we are having a great time turning them into smilies.
All the caches and logs were in great condition. We dipped in TBs along the way.

Another one that we didn't find almost 3 years ago. Better effort this morning. TFTC and the series.
This afternoon I decided to head out and attempt to do some of the Monster Lane caches. Had a great afternoon hunting down the caches whilst riding my scooter.
Had no issue tracking this one down.

Okay, dropped one of the team off top basketball training, and have 90 minutes to kill.
Found the entrance tot he path along road (had to go in the opposite direction first, such a typical caching thing). Then off to the GZ. Approached ML22 GZ, and can't see any rocks....
Let's think about this. Oh, of course.
Found little container. Bag is ripped, and log is damp. Someone has put a bit of extra paper in to sign, but may need to look at fixing this one up.
Okay, two caches today, and 6 mozzie bites later, decided to skip other ML's until appropriately bug sprayed next time. Many more training sessions coming at the venue.
Thanks CO.
