I was out today walking another section on the Monster Lane to collect fuel for the Cosmic Quest. In all I found 8 traditionals, 1 DNF, 1 did not attempt and finished on a multi cache. I also picked up 13 TBs from one of the caches.Find number 6 and still walking . TFTC
I had a plan to get some caches with a fellow cacher but due to illness that didnt happen. The littlest Turmoil was accounted for so I wanted to get the bigger Turmoil out of the house, getting some sunshine and exercise. I have been looking at this Monster Lane bike ride for years and decided today would be the day. We only completed the section near the bridge and boy my legs were aching at night considering it was a short ride and an easy ride. Most caches were found quickly and without any interesting events/memories. Some, however, were a different story.
Nice hide, great container! Love this trail barbbowman! Cache #22 today on an afternoon ride. TFTC!
Trotzdem nochmals meinen Dank und liebe Gre von den deutschen Caradoos google-translate: I cycled almost 25 km today and earned lots of yellow smilies. This treasure was there. The round was fun. Thank you very much for that.Unfortunately, some logbooks were damp, wet or even impossible to write on - perhaps a round of maintenance is in order.Nevertheless, my thanks again and kind regards from the German Caradoos
This morning we went for a short walk along the cycle path.We found lots of caches.Thank you for the Cache saysTeam sissifalke

Our last day in the area before heading home, out on the bikes yesterday and again today, unfortunately we have lost our bike toughness, and there are a couple of sensative areas that we now need to work with. A great little series today, all containers found and in good condition. Will give a couple of fav points for the series randomly. Especially this month as the CO will get those points for the challenge.
Thanks barbbowman for the caches.

Today we decided that we would hunt for monsters. We mounted our iron horses and armed with pens , tweezers and zip lock bags we set out.
All caches were found in good condition.
We had a great morning and loved the scenery along the waterfront.

I have access to LeDeVine for the day so decided it was time to find some “Monsters”… with the bike in the back, I ignored Geepers about parking on the Deagon Deviation and instead parked on Pomona Street…
A nice morning for a ride…
A quick find thanks to the hint… I’ve not seen one of these containers used in this manner before…

The hint was spot on and after retracing our steps and noticing the obvious hiding spot, we were signed and on the way to the next cache. Cache in great nic.
Found it with Duppers. Nice and easy one as was visible when we pulled up. 13th for the day.
Super easy find, probably easiest of the day so far, on our geocycle tour of Monster Lane, and a few other, caches. Found with Shazzar66. TFTC
At long last the day is here. Monster lane has been on my one day list for some time now well since I started caching really. I was catching up with swearah last week and we saw the new ones come through which got us talking about monster lane. Let's do it, let's go next week! So here we are one week later. Initially we were going to take the deadly treadlys but I managed to borrow some electric scooters to make the trip.
With spot on coordinates we pulled up at GZ and made a nice quick find on this one. Tftc barbbowman

Today, I started out with a visit to Tinchi Tamba wetlands, with the main objective of following a Wherigo waypoint, but it was also a good excuse to grab a new challenge cache.
After repositioning my vehicle, I headed out by bike along the Deagon Deviation Bikeway to grab a number of *Monster Lane* series geocaches, riding from Brighton Park to Bracken Ridge Road. It was then an opportunity to grab litter at the Brighton Park CITO event.
I closed out the day by driving around Newport as per the *Newport Canal* series. Unfortunately, the rain arrived in patches as I spent a few hours doing this series, in which I ended up opting for my Jeep over my planned bike ride around.
I had loaded my bike in preparation to ride this series this morning prior to the CITO. There were a few cyclists using the track today, and I seemed to get concerning eyes from each passing cyclist thinking I needed maintenance to have pulled over in a random location along the bike lane. I managed to find most of these caches from #32 to #17 without too much difficulty, although there were a few that I had issues with.
After arriving at this geocache, I managed to find this one reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and it was nice to sign this new logbook. Thanks barbbowman for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

30/12/21 Find #5243
oday found me heading to Brighton Park for a CITO event. And with no hard and fast plans for afterwards, it only made sense that I grab a few caches once done. First I cleared off the Hornibrook in rather woeful weather with Crew153, then met up with SaintsMadHouse and ZacGyver for some ice-cream.
Having said farewell to them, I decided this afternoon would be a good time to finally just pluck another one or two off this section of Monster Lane - one day I will actually complete said mission!
This cache was found quickly as I approached because I recognised the item used and could see it without camo on it. Having signed the log, I popped a little cover over, so it wouldn’t get collected with the accumulating rubbish around here, should there be a (non-caching organised) cleanup.
Thanks for the cache barbbowman.

Out and about after a very full on weekend, geopup and I took a long walk along the pathway to find a couple of the remaining unfound caches in the Monster Lane series.
A quick find at gz today, log signed and cache replaced as found. The log is quite full now.
Thanks barbbowman for this fantastic series ... I must be getting close to finishing now.

It’s Friday which usually means I work half a day or get the day off completely but with a mandatory business meeting planned for Friday afternoon put pay to my caching plans for the day. With the summer sun in play now I was able to still have a little time to grab a couple on the way home. As I have not been close to these caches yet, today I thought I would go for a walk and see what I could get. I got a couple of smilies and a couple of DNF’s and then ran out of time to continue, so I will be back tomorrow, on the bike, to complete the rest.
This was my fifth and final cache for the day an easy find and the hint was helpful. All good with this cache , thank you to the CO for this cache.

I had the opportunity to get out on the bikes with La Kedi again today. She graciously agreed to accompany me along the bikeway to Redcliffe even though she had previously found the majority of the caches along there. Great way to spend the morning. The log is full in this one. TFTC barbbowman
Found with TrickyT. We are now on the second half of the trail. Tricky is well on top of the scooter and zooming flat out between caches, the new mustang is going great guns. Tricky gave me use of his electric bike which I am mastering well. No crashes yet, these are magic machines, beat peddle power any day.
All good here with your cache. Thanks for placing for our enjoyment

The logbook is full and the alternative is soaked. We found a space on the plastic version amongst some old names. Needs maintenance
Despite the rain today, I was still about to get the pushbike out and grab a few caches with the geokid. We managed 10/14 - there were a few GZ's where she felt uncomfortable and we opted to continue. Neither of us had been on the bike for a while, but it was great to stretch the legs and get up a few clicks. Only a few left on Monster Lane for us now! Thanks so much Barb for placing these caches, we are having a great time turning them into smilies.
All the caches and logs were in great condition. We dipped in TBs along the way.

This afternoon I decided to head out and attempt to do some of the Monster Lane caches. Had a great afternoon hunting down the caches whilst riding my scooter.
Another easy find, but I nearly walked into a giant spider!

Mystery at the Museum ...
Having met the detective, discovered the required clues & located & secured all the jewels we headed north today chasing down what was needed to open the vault.
#15 of 17 caches found today.
A quick find but had to craft a makeshift TOTT to extract the container.
All good with the cache.
Made our mark & replaced the cache as found.

Hubby found and logged this one. Working our way along the path. Pity a few have been archived or are missing.
Okay, dropped one of the team off top basketball training, and have 90 minutes to kill.
Found the entrance tot he path along road (had to go in the opposite direction first, such a typical caching thing). Then off to the GZ. I had this cache in mind for today, and of course completely forgot that there were some other ML caches I have not done as yet.
Loaded up the machine to look at where the others were. Passed a couple already, but will look at the GZ's for them on the way back to the car.
Okay, got to ML20, and due to recent mowing, can see in under the tree very easily (muggles not likely to see anything, but I could). Will look at that on the way back.
On to ML21, and again, the mowing helped me here. Quick find, and on to the next one.
Thanks CO.
