Walked down from Fremantle to Geelong today... Okay, looked for this for about 20 minutes before making the find. Persistence pays off. TFTC
Found it nice and easy with the wife at hand, there are two of them here in the same spot. Tftc
I had a stop at the nearby Maccas to use my special phone charger to boost my iPhone. None of this seemed to help me find this as it was another DNF.
[Blue]# 11885[/Blue] Found on our 2015 Winter escape trip to Qld.
Another fine Autumn day for a drive around the northern Brisbane suburbs.
Found 2 caches at this place, with different clues !!
NB Log is damp but still OK on one cache.
Cheers from Wagga Wagga in the Riverina, NSW.
Thanks for the cache Eco & Rev,

Drove up here to do some more in this series this afternoon only to find on arriving here that my phone had no data connection. Luckily I had the gps with me so I was able to do a couple with it.
I tried for this one a couple of days ago but it was pouring rain and there was too much traffic to stop on the main road. Today the weather was fine and I managed to find off-road parking close by. As the previous finder said the cache is no longer magnetic but it's tucked into a safe little hiding spot and all is good.

Find #1432 at 22:45 in the obvious spot.
The cache is no longer magnetic, but seems pretty safe where it is.
The log is very slightly damp, but still perfectly signable.
Forgot to get the clue but remembered halfway back to the car, and turned around to get it.
Thanks for the cache, Eco & Rev.

This was another nice and quick find which we were glad it was as all of the local dogs had decided that they did not want us playing in their territory and were quite vocal about it.
This cache was part of a ‘GSFGH’ Group Sunday Funday Geocache Hunt. As a team Stacevel, *SuzySquirrel*, spinna76, LechBros and I worked together towards raising our numbers so we could all have a joint milestone event next week. The hardest part about doing something like this, as a team, was finding an area to hunt that had not already been harvested by one of the group. After a little map scanning, the area this cache was located was found to be the most neutral hunting ground.
Thanks for the cache Eco & Rev.

Had to head this way after work, so picked up Ronin Pirate on the way. This was an easy find for him once the phone decided where GZ was. Log signed and cache returned to its hiding spot
My three month Brisbane adventure is continuing. Day 32, Redcliffe.
Today is very hot, but not quite as humid as it could be. I've loaded up my 4WD with GeoSchnauzers, ice water and geocaching kit. I'm off for a day of park and grabs, with the odd short walk for the GeoSchnauzers. I'm heading towards North Pine Dam and its lake today - I'm looking forward to a day of views, short walks, and some shade. I've got a big bottle of bubbly too. (Non-alcoholic, mineral water).
No 20 of 21 today. Thanks, Eco & Rev. This one was hard to get at - there were about a million cars passing at the time, and I overshot and had trouble getting back. Never mind, once I got back, the cache itself was nice and easy.

Happily we were out caching with one of our caching friends Urdera who we met on our first visit to Queensland some 8 years ago. Steve certainly hasn't lost his mojo even though he has not done much caching in the intervening years as he managed to find many of the caches we went to today. Nice hide, we enjoyed the search and find. [^][^] Thanks to Eco & Rev.
Arrived in north Brisbane, and set up at the showgrounds before heading off to find some caches.
As we had started this great footy series on a previous visit, we decided to do more of them today.
The cache was found quickly, and in good condition. We noted down the clue, ready for the finals.
And as we are from WA - go EAGLES !
Many thanks for placing this cache, Eco & Rev, for us and others to find.

This was a cool hide, found was more fluke than skill. All safely hidden away again, TFTC
8:45. Found sitting out on ground no where near where it should be. I just had to pick a spot that I thought was okay to hide. CO can email me if it isn't found by another soon for exact location.
Thanks for the hide.

Unfortunately we were not able to look for this one today... the area of GZ has been fenced off and the bridge has been demolished and they are in the middle of replacing with a bright shiny new one. Perhaps CO should check and the very least disable until the area has been re-opened
With the gps bouncing all over the place finally found it. Caching with Team Sportsy and geo Phil. TFTC
Another great day for caching. I like this series from when I was last out this way. Now to finish off the ends of it. The coords had me a bi perplexed but the hint sort of gave me the idea on where to head.
Because of the lack of rain in the past months it was relatively easy to get around this area and the GZ. No mud to speak of but I can imagine it being quite the challenge during January / February.
Not long before I had the prize in hand. Log signed and returned.
Container and contents all in good order.

Another August pick up to collect today's souvenir. I had looked for this one last year when my geocaching was done by Googlemaps at home and a bit of a bash around gz. Epic fail. So today I returned with Mr Garmin and a year's more experience. There it is! Ah, Geelong. Best game this year when Brisbane touched them up, just. A nail biter but what a cracker of a game. tftc Eco & Rev
Back to the footy after a quick detour to grab some other nearby caches. Been very lucky with being able to hunt for all of these with no muggles around
This one took a while. I went back a forth under and over until I glance in the right spot and then success
We feel like experts now - last one for us in this series today- might try a couple on the way home.
Can you tell that by now we were feeling cold and wet? My cacher buddy kept asking where the indoor caches were..
This series would be awesome fun on a sunshiny day It was still fun though.
We were expecting a Terrain 3 and found it was no more a T2. Guess it may flood at times, eh? That suggestion promoted OrionJ to say it would be a T5 kayak cache at times
Fairly easy find once we looked in the right spot

Parked the car really close to GZ and wrestled my bike off the rack. This was the starting point of todays ride. TFTH
Finding this after Freemantle was like black and white - walked up and it was in the first place I looked.

3rd of 24 finds today at 11:14. This cache helped contribute to a new best day record for me.
My first Football Fever cache, it wouldn't be my last, as it was the reason I was in the neighbourhood to find this series today.
This cache was so well hidden for a cache that was almost in plain sight. I was glad I had found it when I did as I spotted muggle walkers approaching when I walked back to my car.

The hardest part of finding this cache was trying to cross the busy road.
Thanks for the clue on this one as it may not have been found otherwise.
I kicked a goal with this one.

Wanted to grab the last one in the series this morning so decided to avoid the heavy traffic and grab the remaining 2.
This one was an easy find, probably had more trouble finding somewhere to park .
Thanks Eco & Rev, these are fun. No on to the finals.
Go The Hawks!

Hold on a second !!
Cats don't like water, so what is this cache doing here ?
That could explain why I found it hanging on for dear life
Much like Geelong is in the finals rounds this year
Go the Crows !!

Eighth of the 18 football caches found today with Robmc. We also found 3 finals so it was a good day out and timely visit on the cusp of the 2012 finals too.

Decided today was the day for some AFL. Found after a short stroll. On to the next team TNLNSL TFTC
The Cats didn't prove to be much competition for me today. Quickly knocked them over as the sun peaked over the horizon. Back onto the bike and onto the next.
A couple of the footy semi's have been smudges on my map close to home for a while now. But to make the semi's, you need to put the hard work in during the regular season.
This was my 5th of 23 caches on the morning ride in the area.

Last one for the day, the young cachers were slowing, found the cache, opened the cache, pulled out the log, reached in the pocket for the pen....... NO PEN! Must have fallen out somewhere between the car and cache. Will have to drop by on the way to the other Football Fever caches next weekend to fill in the log. Log was found safe and dry.
Accurate coordinates led o a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. TFTC Eco & Rev.
Found with Bedmaker. We had to come back to this one as there were some workers there when we arrived earlier.

Out and about with Tassiegirl13 today to find a few in this series.
Our second attempt at this today.
Earlier some workers had been doing something near the drain so we continued on past and returned a while later.
Easy find for us.

1331 - Picking up some more in the Football series on a cool and cloudy Sunday afternoon, Brissy Guy Junior picked this one up at 3:48pm. Thanks for the cache Eco & Rev. the cache is fine. Gabbed the clue, and found we are now ready to make it to one of the finals.
I have stood on the side in the rain, sleet and watched this team play into fog and come playing out of it at Kadinia Park in Geelong for many years. Although they have been my favourite team for many years, because I live in Brisbane now, I follow the Lions and the Broncos. They are still my second favourite team. Collected clue. Be back soon to finish the rest of the series. TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Eco & Rev
As Ghostgums, Gunnie69, P'prime & I approached GZ GPS lead us straight to a likely spot
Taking advantage of our elevation endowed team member we set him to make the find & Ghostgums soon came through..
Log was soon marked to record our presence and we moved out for the next smiley...
