No luck either. A lot of leave litter and spiders in the bushes so not too keen on a detailed look. Maybe it's been muggled?
Hmmm, couldn't find the geocache, but in the process we found an Iphone wrapped in plastic shopping bags, hanging in a tree. Rang the number on the phone and returned it to a very greatful young woman who had it stolen in the Valley 3 weeks ago...bizarre!
Great name for this cache. Luckily a corner of the container was visible or I could have been here till dark. CITO haul: 2 plastic drink bottles, 2 disposable coffee cups.
There should be more bottle trees ... They are majestic and long lived .. I particularly like the ones in Roma which are huge
Bottle trees are very distinctive.
I found the cache but not as easily as others seem to. It took me 10-15 minutes of scrabbling around in the bushes before I came across it.

First admiring butterfly just above find. Then screams as miss 7 picks up find with spider attached.
Looked for this one once before, no idea why I didn't find it that time. Tftc!
My mission for the day was to clear a few of my unfound caches from this area.
I had about 6 on the list and this one appeared as I was approaching .
I had to make a detour to a side street to avoid the council workers who appeared to be digging a hole in the footpath for some reason.
This turned out to be a good move as I was then closer to the cache anyway. A short stroll and a duck behind the bushes and I soon had the cache located.

We had a bottle tree about 4 times bigger than these at one of the houses we lived in growing up. It was in a very dry area out west & the tree seemed to thrive when not much else did. TFTC.
Left the HH Coinrennen 2013 geocoin.

We went to the right spot then we went out then we found it thanks for the cash.
Gps was jumping all about the place and sending us to the wrong location. After thinking logically we had the cache in hand.
Once again My GPS was trying to lead me astray but I managed to find what I was looking for. Getting used to what to look for. TFTC!
This one took a lot longer than I thought it would. As soon as we got anywhere near under the bushes the GPS pointed about 10 metres away from where we were. It didn't matter which way I moved the GPS kept saying "over there!". Anyway, after methodically looking in a few likely places, we came up with the cache.
Nice bottle trees in this park too! I love those things. Pity they take so long to grow. TFTC skibeagle163.

Took a while to find this cache. GPS took us all over the place. In the end, we searched all possible places and Matt found the cache. All is good with the cache . Found with Matt_Eth . TFTH skibeagle163 .
I was about to drop barbbowman and membsec off after our crazy caching mission to Straddie for FTFs. But there is always time for just one more cache. This one was on the way. I had been here before without luck. A quick search today with a little game of hotter/colder soon had the cache to hand.

Goldielover and I found the bottles, looked up but had no luck. We searched all around and were about to give up when goldielover found it. About 5 metres away from the bottles.

Found with stairman1. This one caused us a lot of grief. The GPS was bouncing all over the show. We read previous logs which weren't much help . We were about to give up when I had a bit more of a scratch and came up with the goodies . Log is in good condition. Thanks skibeagle163.
I enjoyed the bottle trees a lot: they're hilarious things. The search was not quite as fun for me as the iPhone couldn't cope under the canopy so I kept going out and trying to approach from likely angles. I was about to quit when I suddenly unearthed the container so can report that all is well inside. TFTC.
5/01/13 Find #969
Having driven past this one countless times on the way to and from work, I finally had the chance to stop in here to search for this one.
The cache was located relatively quickly, signed and returned without problem.
Thanks for the cache skibeagle163.

Found with geo hubby after several failed attempts. Used my Garmin sports watch for the first time geocaching. Better results.
[Hoja]MO HO HO, Merry Christmas!
I found this one some time ago but didn't have a writing implement. Passed by a few time while out exercising, but too many muggles to log the find.
After a busy Christmas day, I felt like an afternoon run to burn off some Christmas cheer, so swung by and logged the cache.
TFTC and hope everyone had a great Christmas day.

Found after a bit of a search on this very warm day. Geoson has given up and gone back to the car. I found it quickly soon after.
Thanks skibeagle for the cache.
Thanks skibeagle for the cache.
Last find of the day, as the mossies were closing in. Found it after about 10 minutes; SL&R, adding some more camo to at least make it non- visible to muggles.

Our last cache for the evening. A bit more of a challenge as the cache container had become covered with some leaf material and was well buried. Signed the log and called it a night. Thanks again for the cache Skibeagle163.
Brahms6 found this one with Wazza and Kara. We did have to send Wazza back to the car for a torch and dig a little but it was there. TFTC
Seems this one can take some time to find after reading previous logs. As it was getting late in the day, didn't have too much time on our hands. Thanks for the hunt
There were a few empty bottles laying around. Obviously a popular place for the locals to have a tipple. It took a bit of scrabbling around but I got there in the end. Thanks skibeagle163
This is our second attempt at this cache, but this time we had Mr Garmin guiding the way. He led us straight to the most obvious hiding place, however I was wondering which of the discarded bottles was the cache. Spent about 5 minutes chasing my tail on that one before I became more logical and there it was. Signed the log and took tb to continue its journey. tftc skilbeagle163
I found me a quiet little suburban park when I rolled up on the bike
It didn't last !!
Sure enough a delivery van turned up across the street.
Another muggle decided to do some gardening.
A truck pulled up and out jumped the crew for some morning tea.
Then a taxi rolled to a stop nearby as I poked around amongst the bottles [:o]
Aw c'mon !!
Wait..... here comes the postie on his bike
In spite of all the activity going on, I still managed to hang around, unnoticed for the 15 odd minutes it took to find the cache
I took KIWI CARL travel bug with me and popped in "Alexandra's World"
Cheers !!!

1344 - Like others, this one took us about 10 minutes to find. Luckily the traffic was light in and out of the Estate and we had sufficient cover to shield us from view. I was relieved to find it though, as there are certainly plenty of areas here to hide a cache. Thanks skibeagle 163.
This one gave me trouble...so much in fact that I took the PAF option to ensure that I was in fact searching in the correct area.
Assured I was indeed in the correct area I delved deeper a hey presto the cache was soon to hand.
The nearby bottle tree make for and interesting feature.
Cache dry and in good condition.
Thanks skibeagle163 for both the cache and pointing out these remarkable trees.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 9:46 am. That cache took quite a long time to track down; so many places to look. TFTC
It had been a long day and the back was sore and stiff, so I let the others dive in, and I just stood guard as there were a few muggles about.
Found in the company of Gunnie69, Kaisho53 and PPrime (P') while tackling monsters on the northside.

Out & about with Ghostgums, P'prime, Gunnie69 today
spotted this icon as we headed to another so quick detour was called for...(numbers are numbers )
Well this ended up being not so quick and had to resort to a bit of research in previous logs to help..
This provided th edge we needed to make a find
Eventually I managed a find even though the science of GPS accuracy was a bit flakey here to say the least
Hustle hustle was the watch word as th sun was drifting towards the horizon (rapidly) but we wanted more

Out and about with Ghostgums, Kaisho53 and P`, we were trying to navigate our way in for another cache but found we were driving right past this one. So, as you do, we pulled up and headed in for a quick hunt... [^]
The quick part did not eventuate however and it took the four of us quite a while to secure the find. It was only after reading back through the previous logs and picking up on some detail that we changed our approach to the search and ended up with the container in hand. The GPSs were so bouncy under the tree cover that we all had different locations as zero. The info in the previous logs confirmed we were not alone in that department so a wide scale scratch around was in order...
Kaisho53 was the victor who finally put his hands on the cache. Sighs of relief all round the log was signed and we shot through to try and make up some time. The sun was already being tucked into bed and we were running on what was left of the ambient light...
Cheers skibeagle163

[8]Nipped out at 5am this morning for just a couple (100) caches with Gunnie69, Ghostgums and Kaisho53. This one cropped up on our GPSrs as we flew past - so we took a look - as you do
Actually, we were a little lost heading somewhere else, but this was on the plan for later in the day.
Took a while before we scrabbled up a cache, but we managed it with little angst. Nice spot.
Thanks, skibeagle163.
{Overall find #1230, being the 94th of 100 today.}

at 14:57. Somhow we haven't tried this one in our area before. It arrived while we were away. A trip in that direction didn't happen and then we forgot about it.

Found with Tassiegirl after a short search around the obvious places.
Actually looked in the same spot twice before we uncovered it.
I remember seeing I think the largest bottle tree, but I forget where?

This one didnt look to far away from where we were so we decided to grab it as we were going past. None of the roads meet up so after turning left, right, left, right blah blah blah we arrived at GZ. Not so close by after all [?]
Arriving close to GZ we were surprised where the arrow headed. Going from the name, it was not were we expected We were hoping for a quick driveby (as we were already running late), but it was not the case Jase got down on all fours looking in the leaf litter and rubbish (bottles) until he eventually came up with the goods Ah, the things we do for a smilie

It was lucky I'd brought DisSister with me! There were about a gazillion webs and spiders in amongst the foliage which would effectively have guaranteed a DNS had I been alone. The bottle trees themselves were great to see, especially the multi-trunked one, which also served to shield us from the prying eyes of the worker muggles having their morning tea in the picnic shelter. TFTC, skibeagle163 =^.^=
Well that was spider heaven! I couldn't go a metre without having to clear away 5 webs. GPS wasn't much help here so I used a trusty stick and waggled it about until I struck gold (well, a cache, at least). TFTC
Out caching with An Old Hag and Gem83
Took a little longer than it should have to find this one.

Found today with a bit more time. Was a quick fly-by last time due to doctors appointment hence the reason for not logging a DNF. Even thoug, sure we looked there last time. Driven (rat runned) this road so many times and never noticed this park. TFTH
was a nice quick easy find today with the girls
i am sure i looked there the other day with fasted

Out for a Sunday spin on the geocycel and detoured into this park. Even early in the morning the muggle traffic was around. Nice hidden park area
Back again and a smiley this time. Much easier in the daylight, than in the darkness without a torch. Was well covered.

Trying to fill in some gaps in my caching calendar so nipped out with the geobubs and geomum to grab a nearby cache. No worries finding the cache which gave us time for the kids to have a play on the lovely little playground. Very nice park for the little ones, thanks for bringing us here. TFTC

=) Being a Horticulturist I have been keen to check this cache out and admire some mature Bottle trees, Ive always loved Brachychitons and the rupestris is one of the stand out varieties although other Brachys have nicer flowers in my opinion, Arrived at GZ today and stood and looked at the trees, one of which is a specimen tree and the other has some unique characteristics, proceeded to hunt down the cache which didn't cause to much of a problem, cache still in good conditon thanks skibeagle163 =)

First to DNF!
Got there this afternoon just on dark, with about 5 minutes spare to find the cache before I had to head home to the kids so my wife could trapse off to her work. Didn't have a torch with me, but thought I'd have a look anyway, since sometimes you can just get lucky.
This wasn't one of those of those times.
