No luck today, busy road made me panic and not search for long, maybe next time

09-Jan-24
Nice cache,greets from Belgium

21-Dec-23
I wish she hadn't! But it was a good hide. The constant traffic passing by made me wary looking. TFTC Team Sunderland

06-Mar-23
Tried to find for a long time without success. It might be there, but difficult to be sure.

04-Jan-23
I had to paf for the previous cache I did before attempting this one, so was determined to get this D3 find on my own, no matter how long it took - for me, it took a lot longer than I would have liked.
I was poking around, searching for anything it could be, before taking a step back and reading the logs.
Biggest clue taken from the logs - use the hint, as the gps coords had me searching too far from the path than I needed to be.
A quick inspection of a standard location - aha! Nicely made and hidden.
Logsheet a bit wet but looks like good quality paper - managed to blotch in my name after letting it dry a little.
Nice work Team S!

My first ever cache! Good hide. TFTC

Found this cache together with Trüffel5chwein. As the name suggests... truffle5pig was able to discover the jar.

Thanks for hiding

05-Dec-22
I was finding caches in the Bella Vista Farm Park and decided to venture outwards to this cache. I found a suitable place to hop the fence and walked down this road. There were so many rabbits scurrying around in the grass as it approached dusk.

At GZ I wandered back and forth a few times before spying the hide. Nice and effective... thank you!

20-Oct-22
TFTC a nice quick find in the rain. So glad I could get a park nearby. I’m visiting from the Hunter Valley

16-Oct-22
We had a DNF here in July 2021. Today on a quiet Sunday and on our way to watch 16yo soccer at Valentine Park, our luck changed. It was much more overgrown last time we were here. This time the container appeared before too long. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek

Winter is coming, oh wait, it’s here

18-Apr-22
Today we took advantage of the free public transport (14th April to 25th April) and headed out to Bella Vista for a cachey walk through the suburb. Caught a 280 bus to Chatswood and a Metro train to Bella Vista Metro Station, then walked through Bella Vista Farm and all around & through The Village Green, before ending our walk at Norwest Metro Station. Collected 2 Multis, 2 Traditionals, and a 5 stage Adventure Lab along the way. This was the 2nd of 9 finds for the day.

After an enjoyable wander around Bella Vista Farm for the MultiCache we next walked down to this Traditional cache, exiting the farm via a broken section of post & rail timber fencing near the bus stop. On arrival at GZ we quickly spotted something interesting and, on closer inspection, soon had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced the nicely camoed cache container as it had been found. TFTC Team Sunderland.

Out for a walk and a few caching with my parents! Security sure is heavy round here. Dad made the quick find when he spotted something that didn’t look quite right. Tftc.

Great find

25-Aug-21
Didn’t make it unfortunately

04-Jul-21
She mad you do it but it didn’t work for us today. We had some ideas of what we might be looking for but nothing turned up. There were some good poking sticks around GZ so we did a lot of poking, prodding, shaking and a little gardening too to no avail. Will have to visit with better eyes next time. Cheers… Gaztek

Nearby for work today, thought I’d give the D3 a go.
It took me quite a while.
I spent far too long in the weeds behind the hedges.
But eventually I re-read the hint and a couple of logs, and the GZ became apparent.
Looked closely and the pertinent object stood out.
Nice hide, favourite point from me.
Tftc.

After doing an Earth cache to earn a souvenir, I stopped to have a second attempt on this cache. This time there were no muggles so I had a good look. After a short wile it was CIH.
TFTC!

23-Sep-19
With a name like this, you made me do it too! Passing in the area, had to add this one to the day’s agenda and surprisingly spotted the camo quicker than expected. Nice work.

That took a while but I finally found it. Log dry and signed. Tftc

20-Jul-19
Searched for a minute or two before seeing something out of the ordinary. Could it be? Yup, it be!

Went ahead and signed and I think a Geocacher stopped the car to say hi.

Though old, this is still very convincing camo.

Thanks for the cache!

**Total find count: 605**

Taking some time out to get some points in the current Souvenir Challenge, Cache Carnival. High favourite caches were the target for today, and these caches definitely earned their favourite points, even scoring a few from my collection.

It is nice to finally avenge a previous DNF. Looks like @crzymelly will be stealing this idea and creating a cache using this hide style.

Tftc. Great camo. Nice little find. Waited for break in traffic to pick up an replace. Log paper was way too wet to sign. Found while out on an errand today.

Quick find on a Thursday morning

20-Jan-19
Good camo. TFTC

01-Jan-19
Found with Coybear2000. We were nearby and decided to go for this one. We parked nearby, walked to GZ and soon saw the camo. The log was wet, but as it was such a warm day we were able to dry it a little by sitting it on the bricks. Log signed and all replaced. TFTC.

01-Jan-19
In the area with Trodectus for family reasons, so thought would have a go at this cache. Parked close by and walked to GZ, quickly had CIH, log very wet, so left it in the sun to dry a bit as no muggles around. Log signed and returned. TFTC

Down south visiting family for Christmas. I managed to sneak away today to grab some caches, after my first cache was a big fat dnf I went to get some breakfast where I bumped into an old friend also in town visiting family he tagged along for a few finds and did well, beginners luck I think It has been a slow caching month so it was nice to be out Some great caches today and this was one of them! TFTC

09-Aug-18
I've put this cache off for years, as the early logs had mentions of being shooed away by security guards. Tonight we were nearby, and my wife was driving, so "I made her do it!" Drive me to the cache, that is. I made the find within 30sec of arriving at GZ. With no rent-a-cops showing up and no klaxons or floodlights sweeping the path, I logged the cache in the car, returned it, and got the hell out of there. Finally I can mark this one off. TFTC Cool

Located at 7:01pm. #795. Made three finds this evening after a long working day. This was my first find and a good sweep of the area soon garnered CIH. Nicely camouflaged, certainly blends in almost completely. Have found a few like this but always am impressed with the implementation of such hides. Спасибо для кеша! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!

09-Apr-18
Another one in the Bella Vista area that for some reason I have never got around to doing. Nice quick find for me today but my normal pen was just making holes in the log sheet as it was damp so had to return to the car for a felt one. Someone might need to drop a replacement bison here as it seems this one has lost waterproofing and the CO now lives out of town - I would volunteer but after this coming weekend I won't have a car for a while as work is taking it back, so until I organise something else caching will be limited to near trains. Thanks Team Sunderland.

02-Apr-18
We've been meaning to find this one for a while now, and today was the day. We needed a cache to fill the 2nd April space in our calendar, and this looked like a fairly straightforward one. Mr S and the boys conducted the search, and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC.

02-Apr-18
Good camo on this one, and a really good hiding spot. TFTC

02-Apr-18
A quick roadside find with nice camo. TFTC

Post specialist appointment took a look here and couldn't find anything even remotely related to the cache name.

Lots of muggles driving past on a weekend, may have to try a different time of day.

GPS had me too far in, lots of cloud cover today, was running out of time and needing to get back to soccer nearby so all but gave up and actually found whilst walking back to the car!! Simple but effective! TFTC. Got covered in farmers friends , that will teach me for being too far in!!!

18-Jun-17
Needs maintenance as log is mush

14-Jun-17
After finding another cache nearby I wandered over to attempt this tricky one. The GPSr had me up the street a bit but I eventually spotted something worth investigating and had CIH.

The log was too sodden to sign, and I didn't have a spare with me, so I took a photo.

Thanks Team Sunderland.

Great little hide. Log completely drenched and unable to sign.

#3882 (2 of 2 today)

This morning I was busy watching Wrestlemania with Geoson #3 - which was coming "live from ***Orlando Florida!"*** (cheap crowd pop)
We managed to spot Geoson #2 who is there - he got a huge close up just before the 4-Way Tag Ladder match.

After that finished I turned my mind to where to cache today...
There are a few braces of DNFed caches around that I haven't re-tried, and today I decided to revisit one of them - a pair in Bella Vista.
One took a little looking, the other was surprisingly quick, but both frowny faces were turned upside down. Only problem was that just as I made the second grab the heavens opened - and I was about 200 metres from *The Hademobile*. Wetness ensued!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Over 2 years since I last visited here. Not a lot of fun then.
Today I walked from my last find with the hint embedded in my consciousness...

With such heavy cloud cover I knew GZ would be fuzzy. So checked a few of the obvious spots first. And in the fifth I checked... Gotcha!
And then the rain hit - hard!

Decided the lesser of two evils (ie less wet option) was to go back to *The Hademobile* with the cache and complete signing duties there, as I could park opposite GZ for the replace.
Still got pretty wet though.

Despite being recently replaced, the log was saturated and shredded as I tried to open it. Did manage to dry it a little and actually sign, but I think an O-ring might help here.

Then drove close for the dryer replace.

Good day, despite the rain. This one gets a favourite for the great camo - I think the extra 2 years caching experience got me this one as quick as it did - I'd have hated to still be searching in the downpour.

At first the GPS had me too far off the path until I read the hint. I soon had the Cache in hand. The log sheet is only new and all dry.
Great camo for this cache.

TFTC. Great camo.

09-Jan-17
Third attempt in as many years. This time I made the find. The hint is correct. It's just a matter of spotting that camo. Who is "she" and what did she make you do?

05-Jan-17
Wanted a calendar filler and started here in Bella Vista and planning to move on to Baulkham Hills. This was my only find before the rain set in.
Good camo on this one and took me a little while to pin down. The log was wet when retrieved but able to sign it before replacing as found. tftc

20-Dec-16
Wow! I'm glad I persisted with that one. What a camo! TFTC. Didn't sign due to log being saturated

20-Dec-16
Log saturated. Looks like a common problem due to where it is located though...

A nice a quick park and grab and 20:45, there no muggles and a torch made it easier to find as well. TFTC Smile

22-Oct-16
Nice easy one. Thanks Cool

22-Oct-16
Easy parking near GZ, easy find.
The log was absolutely satured so it was back to the geomobile where I found an envelope and tore a strip off it (as neatly as I could) put my name on it, placed it in the cache as a temporary log until the CO replaces it and then returned the cache to its location with it camo.

Nice Camo. Good find by my 9 year old. Couldn't sign as was saturated.

Stopped by the road and walked up to the cache. We quickly spotted something a bit out of the ordinary, and opened the container. The log was soaked, and almost impossible to write in.

08-Jun-16
Nice camo. This was a nice quick one today, but has the potential to take ages. The log was damp, but useable. TFTC.

08-Jun-16
I'd seen one of these near the M3. The container needs another O ring and future finders need to tighten the container after signing log.
