Logs
This geocache no longer exists, except the lid. Found the lid, some broken plastic, the plastic bag that the log was in, but nothing else, including the paper log. I have placed a temporary container where I think you may have hidden your geocache, and placed your lid over it. tftc
Found with tassie expat while passing through this nice area. Lid has a crack but thanks for putting a cache here.
A quick find with frmen1 as we explored North of our accommodation. The container is fragile and has a small crack in the corner. Returned to hiding place with that part inwards to try to protect contents. TFTC
Found this out in the open and returned to where I think it should be. Can the CO please check.TFTC
Nice detour off New England highway on our road trip between Armidale and Tenterville. Reasonably easy find.
Out on a weekend out west. Thought we would loop around through Emmaville and find a few caches. Nice quick park and grab. TFTC.
Tidying up around glen innes since I am only travelling to stanthorpe today. It's a bit cool and drizzly but that's not uncommon here just uncommon at this time of year. First way I tried on here wasn't very functional so tried again but ran straight into a spider web so maybe no further functional. Left a Tb to continue its journey. The 'eggs and bacon' tree locally is on full flower. Beautiful. Tftc
End of our caching day. Had great fun - found by Anna and Mackron72. With BBRXXE as well.
Quick park and grab for us today. Geokid left a mini Rubik’s cube, took a 20c coin. TFTC!
Crookedpete and I were given leave passes from our respective families for the Easter long weekend for a geocaching road trip. I suspect that this was our families' Easter present to themselves to have a weekend alone without our company .
As members of The Bromance geocaching collective, we are a rather contrarian bunch, so while the main geocaching action was apparently up north over Easter we decided to instead head south from Brisbane. Our main focus was on caches with lots of favourites, good DT combinations, high elevation or sitting sad and neglected with no visitors for an extended period.
This one we noticed as unloved on the geocache page for over 9 months and was conveniently located on our route from Emmaville to Glen Innes. However on arriving at GZ and signing our names in the logbook, it appears that others have been regularly visiting the cache and signing the logbook (see photo). Not the sort of location I would expect this to be stumbled upon frequently. TFTC

Instead of heading north for Easter, Seffnjarah and I planned a long weekend road trip collecting interesting caches and doing some bushwalks as we meandered our way south to Armidale and surrounds.
A nice quick find for this unloved cache. Many thanks possum bugs 43

Kids enjoyed our trip to Emmaville picking up caches on the way. Nice quick finds off the beaten track. Tftc
First cache, so fun to to find. Hope the little bandits I out in there gets out to use lol
This would have been my first find of the day leaving Glen Innes towards Emmaville and onto Torrington, but we missed the turnoff, so at least knew where to slow down on the return trip later in the day. As such, it ended up being my last find of the day.
All in all we had no issue here, I recall we zeroed in fairly quickly on ground zero and we just needed to look at things from a few different perspectives to spot the enemy hiding away from us. All is safe and well with the cache, log signed, job jobbed. Added a traveler to continue it's journey.
My thanks and go to the cache owner possum bugs 43 for the cache, we've done a few of your caches today, so I appreciate the effort setting them up for visitors like us to enjoy.

Last cache for the day,now off to Inverell for a couple of nights, looking forward to it.TFTC
Stayed overnight in Glen Innes and spending the morning in the Emmaville area before heading off to Tamworth for a few days. Spent a lovely few hours out this way exploring places that caching is taking us. Many thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches and enhancing our visit.
Out and about caching today in the Emmaville district after driving from Glen Innes. Thank you to the CO's for the placement of these caches and bringing us to spots where you would otherwise drive past. Cache found, log signed and cache placed where found. TFTC
Staying a couple of nights in Inverell we headed up this way for a drive. The cache was found quickly by hubby which was a nice surprise. Surrounding trees showing signs of being burnt but cache was in good condition. Gladly signed the log before rehiding where we’d found it. Many thanks!
Cheers and happy caching!

While in the Glen Innes area we travelled the locallity exploring the area and stopping for caches. This was one we targetted and found. On our day out to got to explore an old mining area in Ottery and also found a good place for lunch in Emmaville at the pub. Thanks to possum bugs 43 for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
After getting to Glen Innes yesterday, it was time to do the caches around the immediate area. Out with Liz and Bruce for the last day bfore we part company. Great caches in the area and a few more klm logged in the car.

Picking up some smileys while having a short break in Glen Innes on my trek back to QLD from the Mega. A quick find. TFTC.
Could see GC, but did not retrieve as known high venomous snake population in this area, GZ would be a perfect snake home. Cachers be careful when retrieving GC.
Safety Warning!
I am the owner of land directly adjacent to this cache.
Please be aware - Eastern Brown Snakes and Red Bellied Black Snakes are VERY active in this area. A bite from one of these native reptiles can be deadly.
Scorpions and centipedes are also very common - they can be anywhere but are commonly found hiding under rocks. If you plan to lift any rocks, please use gloves.
The Australian bush can be a dangerous place, but with awareness and appropriate precautions taken it can be an enjoyable place to spend time.
We would hate to see any Geocachers get injured or worse. Please exercise caution

We are heading from Brisbane to Bright in Victoria, caching as we go, wherever it is safe to pull up with the caravan. We left Brisbane on 3rd Jan and dont have to be in Bright til the end of the month. Today's drive takes us from Deepwater to Guyra, via Emmaville.
After a long slog up the hill we pulled in here and located the cache. Thanks possum bags

Found at 11:37 AM GAFF1.
We left Glen Innes quite late as we didn't really have that far to travel today and we also decided to make a slight detour to head up to Emmaville which looked like an interesting little town.
As we approached GZ we startled two kangaroos who then startled us [B)]

I am heading back to Glen in a couple of days and checking which caches are around and notice I did not log this find, Rusty 85 and I made the find on a cold bleak day. TFTC
I was in the area for a few days and there were a couple of unloved caches in the Emmaville that I had decided to attempt and whilst I was at it I would grab the other nearby caches.
This was one such cache.
After pulling up nearby, admittedly at the wrong parking bay, I walk to GZ and had the cache in hand shortly thereafter.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.
Find #494.

TFTC caching with dservice(grandpa service) hitting emmaville area for new years.
After a visit to a nearby fossicking area we decided to hit the caches of Emmaville. A relatively quick find that Mrs Shifter didn't see at first as she was looking from the wrong angle.
Thanks for the cache possum bugs 43.

Lots of bikes heading towards Emmaville today - in fact when we got there the place was full of them - so much so we could not get the caches in the town. No problem here as we were out of sight. TFTC
A very nice blue tractor sitting nearby protecting this cache. Our muggle friends gathered a few small rocks for their garden as a memory of the day. SL TNLN TFTC
Almost discovered a wasp nest close to GZ.. Made the find without incident.. TFTC..

Spending a few days in the Granite Belt clearing all my not found smileys. Finished those yesterday and decided to go south of the border today. Arrived at GZ and parked very close. Quick find. Found at 12130. TFTC possum bugs 43
After a great bush camp out near Thunderbolts rocks we headed back to Emmaville to finish the caches there and are now heading south again picking up some caches on the way.
This was a steep climb to GZ and there was nice safe parking once there. Spot on Co ordinates made this a very easy find and our name is now in the log.
No TB inside though.
