Had a quick look around. Didn't find anything. Possibly moved/found by local kids who have made a cubby next to location.
Had a decent look around but couldn't see it. Been a few months since the last find and looks like some local kids have made a hangout in that area. May need a Check up
Found pretty easily, cache sitting out for the most part uncovered. A bit of love here wouldn't go astray. Covered back up. TNLNSL TFTC
After a pretty big day yesterday , I had decided to tackle just a few caches closer to home. Today's track was to be along part of the Bicentennial (Equestrian ) Trail. Years ago we used to ride our horses out to Hall on this trail, but the 'Horses too have Gone' and since yesterday's adventure was on shank's pony, I decided to use my bike today. Lifting it over the styles didn't prove any problem and it was a good ride.
This was the first find today and an easy one at that. Replaced the container, sort of, signed the log and hid it all in its correct GZ. TFTC TNLN SL

A full day's caching starting in the Pinnacle Nature Reserve followed by at Strathnairn. 39 finds and several DNFs, then around West Belconnen Pond. An easy find here, but the cache has no lid. TFTC.

Monday 26 September 2016 - an overcast sunny Spring day feeling cold each time the sunshine disappeared. Found 7 from 9 caches during a 6km 1.5 hour walk over 2.5 hours. Yes, cache log is wet.
Soon after this a magpie swooped and contacted with my head drawing blood. Please be careful as it felt like being hit in the head with a cricket ball with a sharp beak. Thx muggle husband for the magpie warning as it could have been a lot worse. TFTC Liverpudlin.

Unfortunately with the huge rain this week and the cache was well and truly full of water, cars more like underwater boats.
Have tried a different approach using base of cache as a lid. Perhaps lift upwards Carefully so as to not disturb the pile underneath. Log dry in its zipped up bag and sitting highest on top.

Cache lid missing, unable to find to replace. Covered with wide bark for the time being. Cache needs repair.
Out with Trodectus and Decrypter for a walk around the lake. Arrived GZ and after short search CIH. Cache lid missing and full of water, had search around GZ but unable to locate lid. Used nearby camo to teporaily cover and hopefully waterproff. Log signed and replaced. TFTC
Found easily enough but dry as despite the downpour. Nice cache! Covered up cam. Nice idea.
OK... This is going to sound a bit weird - I officially found this on 25/3/16 (and kind of missed logging it - just having a catch up now 25/3 was the day I paid up and became a premium member, and decided to come and find this one, that I sort of knew was in the area before (but not exactly where) ... I had paid the membership earlier in the day, then gone night caching with a group that was organised on FB ... then I decided to duck in here on my way home and look for this one, because I now could
Headed for GZ ... started to realise I was heading right toward somewhere I had been before, found the cache - and it was very familiar ... This was the cache I found here in May last year! ... but it wasn't this one I thought I had found - I was looking for a nearby mystery cache and I had found this one scattered all over the ground near the obvious hiding spot, just outside what had been my original search area, on my way back to the car ... but not realising this cache was meant to be exactly here, and not having found the log book with/near all the bits I did find - I just thought my workings out were a bit off, and this was the other cache I was looking for ... Oops ... (proximity rule kind of falls down a bit in situations like this, where a member does not even see premium caches on the map).
When I accidentally found this one in May last year I signed the weird note book ... this time there was a log book, so I signed that
... Hmmm - I wonder if the log book had been sitting out on the ground the whole time between when whatever it was that muggled the cache scattered everything, sometime before I found it, and when ZimbaW found it? (I didn't see it when I found all the other bits, but they were all close to each other - if the log book was 10m away I probably didn't see it in the dark)
TFTC - bit of an interesting saga with this one, and the other one, and the one I WAS trying to hide and could not work out why I kept moving my hide and still getting told it was too close to the cache I thought was here - lol
btw, I went back and found the other one a bit later (turns out it was in the area I had originally started my search in after all - lol)
Oh - I didn't have any cars with me when I came looking/found it on 25/3 - but I ducked back past here a bit later and dropped a couple odd little ones in ... not sure if they are ok - they were not hot wheels, think they came from a chocolate egg or something (actually that was about 21/5 - because it was when I met andrewbt wandering around the pond finding caches)

Had to find this as grandson 2 is a Sam, but he's a bit older and was not into hot wheels that much. A number of cars in the container. Not been here before, it's a whole new world out there.
Left a new Police SUV for Sam - hope he can check out the cache again soon. First attempt using a new GPS (Magellan eXplorist 310) rather than the app, so it took longer than expected, getting used to physical buttons rather than a touch screen. Visual is different, too, but will be better in the long run, especially in areas with patchy phone cover.
A short walk in and the cache was very quickly spotted. As mentioned by Loci612, virtually unmissable. Giggled while having a read through the notebook from the local kids and then signed the real logbook. Thanks Liverpudlin
We had a huge day in Canberra with Wilbert67 caching. Managed find all but 3 of our suggested list. I consider that a successful day and the weather was kind to us. Thanks for all the CO for the caches.
Well this was a very strange caching adventure.
Firstly I found the original cache as it is quite large and easy to find as there are virtually no hiding spots.
I opened it up and was greeted with a logbook, that looked like a little kids notebook and was covered in scribbles, random "I love you" notes and other random words and stuff throughout. There was then a couple geocache names on the back page of the book (who were all confused)
I then noticed ZimbaW log and was EXTREMELY surprised that he couldnt find the cache!? Its literally impossible to miss its so big and not very well hidden. So off I went looking for his "replacement" and sure enough there is was about 5-10 metres away from GZ.
With the ORIGINAL logbook he found on the ground
So I decided to remove the temporary cache, and transfer the original logbook and the toy car he left behind to the real cache. So the logbook is finally reunited and there is no reason to sign the silly old kids notebook.
Thanks for an interesting experience! Glad I put the missing pieces back together

I'm visiting North-side to do a bit of caching. My friends, one of whom is a birdwatcher, took me on their "usual" route up to the lake and back. A very pleasant ~12km walk.
After two DNFs in a row, I was seriously disheartened.
When I arrived at GZ I looked in a likely spot but nothing (Again!).
However, on further inspection I came up with a un-contained logbook looking dishevelled and slightly damp out in the open. We found some digging and perhaps evidence of a fox in the area so I choose to blame that. I had a spare container and log and I have placed this where I think GZ is and added a really cool (I think) Hot-wheels hot-rod.

Easy find on a wet morning. I signed at the back of a scrap book where the last few people had signed. Not sure if this was the actual log. Maybe the CO should make a visit and check this out in case the log is missing? Didn't see any sign of spiders. TFTC
Fairly close to the muggle playground but I think we avoided detection despite 2yo geokid tearing around yelling about treasure. Best watch your fingers getting this one open as some fairly nasty looking spiders had made their homes under the lip of the container. One particularly fortunate spider has apparently been finding a way in and out and was looking very pleased with itself - the cache was filled with cockroach carcasses. Unfortunately the cache contained a lot of swaps but no Hot Wheels, just a few cheap knockoffs. Hope poor old Sam isn't too bummed. We swapped some parachute soldiers for a bracelet and a figurine. TFTC!
Easy enough to find but as I pulled out the container I touched something hairy!!! Yes, it was an ENORMOUS spider log quickly signed and put back. Found with JetFuselage, TFTC
The second cache on this mini adventure during the CITO with ZQX, HypoHippo, sacada and Wilbert67! Between this one and and the last, we found the motherload of rubbish so we filled our bags and were off to this one. Unlike the last, this one was found almost as soon as we arrived! Log signed and cache replaced. It was only afterwards that we realized a pen had been inadvertently donated to this one! TFTC Liverpudlin!
Decided on a long day of caching in the ACT. and left home 3 am. Had a great day with 2 events involved as well. Lots of find and (unusually) lots of dnf's as well. Met some great people and the weather was at least dry today. Finally home and exhausted by 8 pm. Thanks for putting out this cache!

A group of us from the close by CITO event went cleaning and caching to grab this and a few others. Quick find for this one. TFTC Liverpudlin.
Grabbed this one after the CITO event nearby. I've never been out here before so it was good to check it out. tftc Liverpudlin.
A quick and lovely find on the short walk to GZ in the rain. According to my calculations, Sam must have just turned 4 years old. What a lovely way to remember your geo-godson's birthday.
The cache was safe and dry, not totally covered ,and we did our best to hide it al little more.
Thanks for the walk and the cache Liverpudlin,

Just when i thought i'd found all of LPUD's caches, here is another near a location i frequent. Had to go for a quick stroll to pick this one up. Cache is in good condition however the camo was almost non existant. Signed cache and fixed up camo.

I had just completed a lovely caching stroll around the pond so thought I would swing by this one as well and make the collect
Before I started my stroll I drove past this one and thought that it may have been at the playground-which was now occupied by kids. So then thought I would have to do this another time. BUT...after completing my walk I checked on this one again and they had all left. As I was following the GPS arrow I noticed the cache was a lot further away in the reserve-ahhh relief! I'm not a fan of playground caches-dodgey look!
Anyway, once making my way around and over the horse gate and in where I needed to be at GZ, it was a nice easy find and sign [^]

found with HypoHippo on a quick run north to try and finish a few caches in this area. Cache found easily enough and all in good condition. HH dropped a car in for Sam! Thanks for the excuse to take a drive with geoson and catch up on some school news TFTC Liverpudlin.
found with AngelG27 on a run out to have a look at a neighbouring cache. But did come prepared with some goodies to drop in. Fortunately cache was found nice and easy and I dropped in a Ferrari and a BeyBlade for fun! TFTC
This one of the caches that have been showing on my closest 30 so I decided to come collect it after work. Found a park close by and made the short stroll over to the GZ.
Didn't take too long to find the cache as it was rather exposed. I didn't have a toy on me so I just signed the log and replaced the cache. Placed some additional cammo onto the cache to assist in keeping it muggle free.

Found with GrimRaider and Mr Roo on a walk with the geohounds. What a beautiful day for a walk, though the wind does have a bit. We made our way to gz and then remembered we didn't bring any little cars. So we left an army man - hope this is ok. TFTC

Was out this way collecting solved puzzles and had to walk past this cache so picked it up too., Nice sized cache, but it basically has zero swaps left. It was also left completely uncovered by the last finder, so I followed the instructions and left it covered well.
I'd also say that the terrain is overstated by 0.5 to 1 star.
Thanks Jess'n'Jas

#1272 - 19:50; Set out on an evening mini mission to clear a few caches in one of the newer areas of the outer north. This was the last of four for the evening. Parked not far from GZ and headed in. Only a short search required for this one before it was cache in hand and log signed. TFTC jess'n'jas
I found the cache totally exposed. When I left I covered it with many branches which won't blow away as easily. Thanks jess'n'jas

Geocache #791.
Found on Friday, 13th September 2013 at 12:33 PM.
Conditions: sunny.
Current streak #45 days.
Today's finds 18 of 46.
My 690th find for The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition 2013. With just over a week of the competition remaining, I had some leave owing and decided to take it for a geo-adventure in the Australian Capital Territory and Canberra. What a way to celebrate Canberra's centenary, as well as the Federal election!
On the sixth and final day of my trip, I continued the search around the Canberra area before having to head back to Sydney in the evening. Once at GZ, it was a quick find and I soon had the CIH and signed the log. TFTC jess'n'jas.

All in good order, except that the container was left fully exposed.
Please replace camo the same or better than found.

416. Had a morning - lunch time shift at work so decided on finding some more caches around the 'burbs. I wonder what the locals thought of me looking in all these hidey holes, suited up in black...Nabbed this one during a night trip.

5583. [green]As FFP wasn't well I could leave work a bit earlier and take a fairly long detour on the way home. Sinking heart when I parked thinking that at any time a parent from across the street was going to challenge why a single adult male was heading into the bushes near a bunch of kids. Luckily no threat emerged and after a quick find it was off home and to warmth.[/green]

Doppelfrog, BatGirlandCo and Elvis the Intracar Whining Wonderpooch took me on a rollicking, cold and sometimes wet through the outer suburbs in an effort to get me trained for a walk across Spain in a few months. We found this one.
13th cache for the day in my attempt to reach 1000 caches. As we (geopup and I) jumped out of the car one of the neighbours came out of the house, so I thought this on might be difficult. But we headed of in the direction of the cache and we were soon out of sight, and the cache was in sight.
One more to go....

Fittingly out on a stroll with ArcherACT and Doppelfrog along the northern border to celebrate Elvis's 5th birthday. Elvis himself is not much into hot wheels cars unless they are made of meat, so no swaps today. He was certainly into all the ducks around the ponds here... or perhaps he wishes they were into him???
Out on a cold, windy, and sometimes rainy caching expedition with BatgirlandCo & ArcherACT.
Really nice parks and ponds out here. I'm sure they'd much nicer when the temperature was more than 6C and it wasn't raining...

Parked near the entrance to the trail here and headed over to grab this cache. We didn't have any cars on us so we signed the log and headed off after admiring the few cars already in residence. TFTC, hope Sam gets some more cool cars soon.
