Found on the way past today thanks to geomum. She has done a great maintenance job on the cache to keep it ticking along in the meantime. TFTC #8800
Out caching with Busy Paws. Found container and log separated in some nearby branches, not where it was supposed to be, log unsignable, dried container and put in a temp log, taped the cracked lid, have re-hidden as close to co-ords as possible, needs urgent maintenance.
Found in a sorry state and not where it should be. Geomum has posted a further log. Please check our placement, might not be where it's supposed to be. Anyway, found and signed with Geomum on a good caching couple of hours.
As previously noted, contents were sodden and un-logable. I wonder if it's been moved a bit as certainly wasn't hidden at all and wasn't where the hint says. Thanks tho
The contents, including the log, are a soggy mess so I didn't attempt to make it worse. I had looked for this once before though so it was good to find it.
On our way to Dunedin we had a short break at this location.
Thanks for the Cache

From 19th February to 20th March Stadibast and I visited New Zealand. Half of the time we made a trip around the North-Island. After a short stay in Auckland we went to: Bay of Islands, Cape Reinga, Rotorua and the Wai-o-Tapu-Thermal Wonderland, the great Taupo-lake… We made a Rafting Tour in the Waitomo-Glowworm-caves or hiked the Tongariro–Alpine-Crossing and, and…
In the second part of our holidays we visited the south island, hiked in the Abel-Tasman-Reserve , went to the Marlborough-Sounds, the Golden Bay, the Oparara-Arch, the Franz-Josef- and Fox-Glaciers, had a great sight on Mt. Cook and Mt. Tasman, relaxed at the Wanaka- and Hawea-Lakes,….
New Zealand is a very amazing country and with exceptional natural sites. We are very impressed of these great nature monuments and sights and we are happy that we met so much friendly and helpful people.
On the way to Christchurch we passed this place and stopped to search this Cache and found it. Cache needs maintenance, Wet log-book.
Greetings from Germany.

Found the log but too wet to sign - the container has a large crack and will never dry out unless it stops raining
Original trip route meant not going near this cache but things changed and found ourselves turning down this road so had to stop and have a look. Took far longer to locate than it should have as I assumed it was one place and it turned out to be somewhere I never thought off. Should have followed the GPS. Found eventually. As noted cache very sodden but managed a scribble in the log.
While cache was full to the brim in water. Amazingly we managed to sign the wet paper. Needs maintainance. TFTC
Hoping another Needs Maintenance log will get someone's attention and get the broken container replaced. Left a dry piece if paper for our log.
Logged on a dry piece of paper as the log is soaked. Container lid is broken.

Traveling South with Injeanious from Chch to Dunedin for a weekend visit. We found the most caches in one day ever, for us going down, then did even better on the return trip heading back up State Highway 1. TFTC!!
The log was very wet on this one.
The log was very wet on this one.
A quick find. The log was rather soggy but we managed to jot our names down. Tftc.
TFTC. Took some finding, not where I was expecting to find it. Lid is cracked and everything inside is wet. Didn't sign log.
November in Europe, the dark month, neighter autumn nor winter: short days, rain, fog. Everywhere unlucky people.
But now we are in NZ. Early sunrise, mighty green and flowers everywhere. Happy cows and sheeps also. We delight look forward to such lovely challenge. Thank you NZ. Greetings from Germany, from the mountains of Harz. Totally wet. TFTC

Mega trip to NZ with vipema, Veke68 and Katsukka, logged as TVVKFIN. Today our target was Dunedin, lots of kilometers and lots of fun! Thanks for the cache.
Long time dream came true and we could visit New Zealand. NZ Mega was our maingoal and we had time to find others too. We travelled together with Veke68, Katsukka and tanjuli (+husband) and had great time. We used TVVK Fin (that is tanjuli, vipema, Veke68 and Katsukka) in mostly logbooks to save space.
Thanks for the cache.
Greetings from Finland.

Greetings from Finland.
Day #6 geocaching in NZ in good company (=tanjuli + husband, vipema, Veke68 & Katsukka = TVVK-FIN in the logbooks, most of the time), today we headed to Dunedin and back to Christchurch again. Had a great time, enjoyed the mostly sunny day and found a lot of caches + saw so many interesting/beautiful places.
The log was wet so we added a dry piece of paper to serve as log.
Thank you!!!!

Thank you!!!!
Caching holiday in New Zealand with Tanjuli, Vipema and Katsukka continues and today nice trip from Christchurch to Dunedin and back. Lot of kilometers but many nice caches and of course couple of very old caches too.
We logged mostly only TVVK-FIN to save space in the logbook.
Thanks!!

6th and final day of our awesome Mega Adventure and Papa is making the solo trip home. Quick find. Salamat!
Worst condition cache of the day. Container Cracked and log wet. GPS lead astray at first so I was pleased to find. TFTC
Dunno where that is, I hope it wasn't near the trees that have been knocked over.
Cheers and thanks,
S.t.

Accidentally touched the electric fence. What a buzz. Even knew it was there. A quick find. TFTC
Someone has not closed it properly and is all cery damp. A replacement log would be good.
After a dnf last time I tried this one. Finally found it this time. Does need maintenance as it is soaked so couldn't sign the log will come back and sign when it is repaired tftc
Couldn't find it. Seems the overgrowth is causing a problem. Was still worth the try
Trees have been trimmed and debris laying around are now overgrown with long grass. This one obviously needs a longer look than we were prepared to give it.
Still there but I wouldnt expect it to survive the clean up quick grab while working in ashburton tftc
One of ten strictly rationed SH1 roadside PnGs on a quick dash to Christchurch to deliver a motorcycle to its new owner. Trees have been cut down. Lucky the cache survived but it might not when they come back to clear up the mess. TFTC.
Looked for this at night last year with no luck, good to get today by daylight. Easy find tftc
On holiday catching up with whanau and getting caches along the way. Tftc nice hide.11/7/14
Found after widening the search. The Guardian has had a haircut. TFTC

Driving down to Dunedin today, mostly due to the event on Saturday night.
Mentioned to a friend though at lunchtime at work that i was going, and he asked if he could come along for the ride as he had a car to pick up in Dunedin! Sure - as long as he didn't mind a bit of caching along the way
Left work at 2pm, and finally managed to leave home just after 3.
Wodered around for a while before I spotted it. Finally, noticed the guardian has had a bit of attention had, but that it was still an object that could hide the cache - and sure enough, it was actually there! (Thought the guardian was just a pile of off cuts when I first saw it!! )
Meanwhile, my friend was being entertained by where the road could lead!

Quick find during a flyin visit to ashvegas #28 of 365. Had daughter with me. Another potential geocacher is born!!!
Curiously it took us quite a while to find this one. Not where I thought it would be. Lots of hunting involved for us. TFTC
Nice quick find with a reason to stop for lunch before heading back to base in chch.
Find #49 on a road-trip from Blenheim to Dunedin, through St Arnauds, Hamner Springs, Aoraki/ Mount Cook, and Christchurch. I landed in a patch of nettle on the way to GZ, ouch. I found it after cursing Mother Nature for a while. TFTC
38 of 100 on a road trip up to Christchurch and then down to Te Anau. A quick easy find once in the right spot which wasn't anywhere near where I was expecting. TFTC
Not so obvious anymore! Found on our trip to Dunedin. Bag was ripped, log water damaged. Replaced bag, added silica. Thanks!
[Drove up to the nearby structure and decided I didn't need the GPS. Wrong. Searched the "obvious structure" with no luck. Decided maybe GPS assistance might help and found just how far from the GZ I was! Once in yhe general area I went to a spot I thought obvious but no luck. The GPS took me to a similar obvious spot and counted down to 0. Still nothing. I returned to the ] 'road' and[ was about to give it a miss when I spotted the cache ]at the base of an ex-tree. With no camo it is very exposed now the tree has been cut down.[ TFTC]
Sprinting home from a morning in Ashburton wouldn't be complete unless I found a cache.
Nice find though did 'liven 'me up searching for it!! TFTC Rchdlyn SL

In the south island for work and visiting a couple of sites I stopped off and grabbed a few caches on my way south...Scrambled around at the base of several things before I found what I was after. TFTC
Day One of the 31 Days of Caching Challenge.
Good news the plumber came today and we now have a working basin in the bathroom, first time since before Christmas.
Bad news I couldn't leave the house, no car, husband worked late. So dinner took ages to cook then eat and next thing you know it's 7:30pm and I'm feeling sorry for myself.
Why don't you go find one asks husband. It's dark... You have a head lamp, I'll be lonely.... No response, It's cold outside... Yes it is cold.
Any way I had a look online choose this cache, got wrapped up and off I went.
Straight forward find. Lost a pen, picked up some rubbish, signed the logbook and home again in time to tuck boys up in bed.
Thanks for the cache.
