GPS pointed me into the microcarpha tree and I could not find it there, so as any geocacher would, I extended my search area to no avail... and this one is really Guna bug me as I am in the camp across the stream ....
A minor detour after doing the Swallows and Podocarp tracks. I hadn't read the hint and after parking a hopped out and headed for the nearest large obvious typical hiding object before realising that my garmin was pointing me across the road to another obvious spot. A nice dry hiding spot. Thanks for the placement.
Heading away for the weekend on a Geo Murder Mystery adventure. This cache contained one of the clues needed and after a bit of a detour off the main highway I soon arrived at GZ and the find was made TFTC
A planned geocaching trip with specific targets in mind.
1: The final 2 caches to fill my D/T grid
2: The last 5 caches available (all in the South Island) to meet the NZ Jasmer challenge GC4R9Z6
3: Get as many caches as possible in a day (Solo)
I had no timetable and only a vague route (Christchurch - Dunedin- Invercargill). So after 20 days of sleeping in my tent/car I arrived home having traveled 4500km and visited some interesting places. Met some great people. I had found over 650 caches. That was a lot of park. Jump out out. Find cache sign and return. Then on to the next. All this done by myself. Also attended an event and had 2 FTF
Mission 1 and 2 were achieved and I had a best day of 153 caches. All this done by myself.
Day 13 Dunedin to Herbert Forest 25 caches. All targets have been met. Thank you for the placement

After a very pleasant walk in the forest with Kiwi Moose and Karma Reprint, we got to do some car-caching. Signed as K^3LMR Thanks.
We stopped to try find some caches on the way home from the Forest. The weather was starting to get wet and the daylight faded fast. A quick find, Cheers.
Out and about around Oamaru with Kiwi Moose and Kiwi Legend A good walk around the Herbet forest Thanks to the CO's for the Caches.

Rabbits, so many rabbits out here. Spending the day with Karma Reprint and Kiwi Legend, signed as K^3LMR (or some variant). Cheers
A day off before the Geofest so out to collect a few caches. Thanks to all the Owners that have been out and about maintaining them for this busy weekend.
We are staying at Herbert. I wanted to check this road out for future visits. So we are finding Geocaches along here.
Find out more about New Zealand's next big event [Oamaru Geofest](http://oamarugeofest2017.wixsite.com/geocachingevent) and come and join us.
Thanks. Bitsprayer for putting in the effort to hide this geocache. This was find 5132 for me.

A quick and easy find. Left no stone unturned - not. Instead searched the more obvious object. TFTC
Found at 2:50:00 p.m. on 12/01/2015.
Out having a couple of days camping with the family on the coast between Dunedin and Oamaru. Of course this gives me a chance to pick off a few caches along the way.

Had to visit twice. On way up this morning I came in to find a contractor working in the paddock right beside the hide. Went back on way home and although he was still there he was now far enough away to allow a quick grab of the cache. TFTC.
Found it while walking the dog with Schnitzel04. It was a cold, cloudy day but I enjoyed it. TFTC.
We enjoyed the day caching in this area
Tftfun
So many caches done to remember all, but got a kick out of all that we found

Took a detour on the way back from Ommers to polish off the ones on this trail I'd missed before.
A quick find in the obvious spot
It was drizzling quite heavily at this one and remembering the steep muddy hill I decided that this one was enough for the day and buggered off home.

A good excuse to look around the cribs here. Would be a nice place to stay for a weekend.
One of the last we did on Saturday and PC Sniff was looking more like PC Stiff as he tried to get out of the car for this one. Not used to such long walks, eh? TFTC
S&N found it. Lovely day. Road quiet now that the bridge works are complete. I really must start carrying a pen. TFTC.
All quiet down this road on Christmas morning, the geo-nana (aka Mrs Fluffyduck38) dove straight in and came up with the goods with this one! We were surprised to see so many houses down this road, it's a bit like suburbia here! TFTC
A brief detour to Reid road before tackling Hoods 'alpine' challenge. Many secluded homes and cribs are scattered along here. The cache was an easy find.. Mother duck had it before I was out of the cache-mobile.
4842. After a couple of extra days in Dunedin after the Mega Event, this was our second day for travelling back north, Moeraki to Oamaru, and this was our fourteenth cache find of the day. Decided to do a few up this side road as we had been here before and loved it. An easy park, container found and the log signed. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
Another good day finding geocaches in the area.
Soon had this one located.

Golly, all these houses. farmer looking at us...on "his" road. thanks for showing this amazing area.
Found this cache extremely exposed, it would have been visible to any muggle passing by. Log was signed and we replaced it with some covering to make it less obvious. Thanks!
Another easy one. Too wet for all the Herbert Forest caches.
