Tftc Youngoldfella, from our camp at Mingo Crossing we headed in to Mt Perry for lunch and a few caches! Lunch was tasty and all was good with the caches too.
Wary in the long grass for any slithering creatures but all good here. Thanks YOF
Sign as TK easy find. Maybe this one needs retiring as in long grass and with new rules it seems inappropriate with the cemetery. tftc
GPS jumpy around here so focus on the likely hiding spot. Didn't realise the cemetery so close to the cache was still in use until arrived. Felt disrespectful and think it is wise that this cache type is being phased out to prevent offending mourners. Logged as TK (ToucanKB and KabbellaQld). Tftc
Had to have a wander in the cemetery before going to lookfor the cache, always find these out of the way cemeteries interesting. Thanks for bringing me here and thanks for the cache!
Today's geocaching adventure brought me to a place of unique serenity near a quiet little cemetery in the heart of Mount Perry. The cache provided a peaceful and reflective experience in the midst of nature's resilience after recent bush fires. As I approached the cache location, the juxtaposition of the cemetery and the regenerating bushland struck me. The views here are both haunting and beautiful, as signs of nature's healing process were evident amidst the charred remains of recent fires. I carefully located the cache, hidden skillfully. It was a bittersweet moment, retrieving the logbook from its concealed nook, considering the challenges the region has faced. I signed the logbook with a sense of respect for the surrounding environment and left a small trinket, hoping to bring a bit of joy to this place of quiet reflection. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the cache owner for leading me to this unique spot, where I could appreciate the strength of nature's renewal in the face of adversity. Geocaching continues to take me to extraordinary places, reminding me of the power and resilience of our natural world.
A weekend trip up to Gladstone and Calliope saw me having some quiet time on an 800-acre property. We got in some 4wd, some walking on some extreme hill climbs, campfire at night and then a few caches as well. It can be hard work trying to convince some people how much fun you have doing this activity, especially if they are not fully open and listening, lol.
On our way home and a few target caches to collect along the way, including a first to find.
This one seemed to be a little out but I used my geosenses and made the find.
I signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for the hide and bringing me to this area.

A nice walk in the sunshine here and such a quiet restful place. We walked through reading the headstones and recognising names from the locals who once called this place home. Cache was located without any difficulty and log signed. Left a little koala for the next child who comes along. TFTC

While staying with my parents at Binjour, my daughter Pinkypie05 and myself decided to go to Mt Perry and do a few caches. I hadn’t been to Mt Perry in about 25 years. An easy find. TFTC!
Found after a bit of a scratch around. But beware! There was a snake skin over a metre long nearby!
I love cemetery caches, looking at the names and dates on graves. Good hide in beautiful Mt Perry.
Whilst on a break from the winter days of Melbourne, off on a day trip to grab a few hides, this one was successful, lunch at the local cafe, then ready to grab another. Tftc.
I am traveling a very zigzag route to QOGM in Barcaldine. I have been unwell, so delayed the start of my trip by several days. I spent last night in Eidsvold and after finding some caches in the general area, started to head towards Bundaberg. Next, I came to this cache. The GPSr in the geomobile was telling me to go a particular way to this one, but, in reality, there was no road there. So I followed my instincts and found another way to GZ. Once there, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Currently a swooping magpie at the cemetery. Easy find. Took a photo from the top. TFTC
Found with wombles and 1MinnieMoo on the return journey of our road trip to Bundy.

1minniemoo,nyssaflutterby,1giantpanda and I had a weekend away planned, we had to change thing a little at the last minute due to the weather. The weather looked good up this way and it was!
Saying goodbye to Bundy now and on to our return journey, though not in the typical Bundy_brissie fashion of course!
We made this one a park and grab with a roller coaster like exit.

Continuing our journey the long way home, Wombles&Co, NyssaFlutterby and I stopped in here.
We managed to turn this one into a park and grab - we parked 10m away and made a quick find then made an exciting exit. Not bad views here at all.
Thanks for the cache Sweet-Sour.

Quick easy find after a stroll through the cemetery, how cool are the taps in the top rail of the chain link fence! Ingenious idea. Tftc!
Thanks sweet-sour for bringing us to this very nice, old cemetery. Cheers from Bindair Dundat and Princess Madelyn.
We are travelling back to Adelaide slowly as it is still cold and wet down there and the weather here, well it is just perfect.
We camped at the free camp at Ceratodus last night and then over the range to Mount Perry.
Made a quick find and sign as Di used the phone as it was in range.

1977, The Police made their live debut as a three-piece band when they played at Rebecca's Birmingham, England. The Police became globally popular in the late 1970s and are generally regarded as one of the first New Wave groups to achieve mainstream success, playing a style of rock that was influenced by punk, reggae, and jazz.

We missed the one at Mingo Crossing as we were short of time but will return next time for it.
We arrived at GZ and made the short walk into this one.
I spotted it in where I thought it would be.

This is definitely one of the prettier places for a cemetery to be located. Found the cache and then took in the views for a while. TFTC
Another nice little view out over the surrounding area. A pleasent breeze around whilst we hunted made the hot weather bearable and we soon had the cache located. TFTC
Had trouble getting to this with the road maps anyway turned around to where we thought the GZ was and parked. Walked across to the only obvious hiding spot and the cache was soon found TFTC!
Found with billjoy on a quick visit to Mt Perry.
Great views from this vantage point.
Even had a quick look around inside the fence.

My sister, doscrapbooking, and I are heading north looking for caches over the next few days on a road trip.
Today is day 2 of our road trip and we are heading east and south on our return trip.
We parked the car and wandered into the grounds following the GPSr
As we approached GZ we realised we have to climb the fence.
The cache is dry.
With the Log book signed, cache replaced and we were on our way again.
Thanks for the cache
