As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Hi
It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time. Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me within Three Weeks, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,
Regards,

More than a year between finds by now, could use a visit by the CO to check if it is still there please. Thanks.
The hint and coords made it pretty obvious that the cache would be where I was looking, but unfortunately, there was no cache in sight, and there was no other real possibility of an alternative hiding spot. It seems like this one has been muggled...
Never like to post a dnf but the gps was right on the money today - got us right down to 0m and we were right where the hint directed us to, but no prize for us today. It's been over a month since last found, will come back once we see someone else has confirmed it's still there. TFTC
On way to Leap Day event at Sylvia Park. Had an early finish to work this day and with my Son inbetween his shifts, we were able to get across the bridge and through town before the worst of the traffic, so pleanty of time to do a bit of caching before event, adding to the tattly of caches found on 29th Feb (Has lloked a bit lonely with just he one for a few years).
Had planned the route as a curcuit around Sylvia park. Great evening with only 1 DNF (due to too mutch traffic at a stand still beside GZ). TFTC

On the way to the leap year event and wanted the event to be cache 3000 but found we were a couple shy so did this one on the way
This is the penultimate cache at number 2999!!!
Easy find in the evening drizzle.

Too many young muggles lurking so could only give the likely area a cursory glance. Will return.
Quick find. Needs a new log – sorry, but we didn't have one with us. TFTC. Mahalo and Aloha from Hawaii.
After failing to get a cache yesterday, I needed to get back on the caching wagon today and find another, I had been out and about getting some bits we needed today and some bits we did not need so much. This cache had not been found and was near to Sylvia Park so off we headed. My non-caching partner waited in the car while I headed off to get this one. A quick and easy find, still in good nick, but needed some new log paper. Unfortunately I had nothing on me to replace it with today. Thanks for the cache, this is a nice little area. #474
Doing a 50 day streak challenge with some friends was heading back from town and needed to go to silvia park so decided to grab this one. Gz was easy to locate. Darkness was falling fast and no geo torch meant search by touch. Took tb.
Well done Seymour. It was a straightforward find. There was a dog patrolling the area, but he seemed friendly enough.

Feel like we're having a successful day, I've now doubled my count just by coming out with some experienced geocachers - yay!
Love the name hehehe. With 3 of us looking and not that many places it could be you would think we would have it quite quickly. Mr beconaze had to come in to where the girls had searched to find the cache
After Vistra and I had just found a challenge nearby and this was close, so why not.
Quick walk to GZ from parking closeby, quick find. TFTC

Popped out this morning with yorkshirekiwi83 to find a few caches on our way out to Sylvia Park. GZ was obvious on approach, so the cache was quickly found. TFTC!

Was out and about so thought we would take the short detour to find this cache. Very quick find with cragger and laval playing as a distraction whilst I completed the formalities for us.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Afyer playing executive for the day I was finished with meetings and what not. Heading back to the airport with a heap of time to spare some geocaching was to be had. Tftc
I missed the easy-entrance street, so I had to walk around the other side. No problem finding this one. TFTC.
D'oh some child muggles went past just as I was getting it and opening it. Tried to sit down and on the box to be real "stealth-like"...not sure how successful I was. Was excited there were toys! tftc
Nice easy find, had to cover the search quickly with shoe tying as a muggle couple walked through the park. TTFC
Our 2nd day in NZ and we headed out to find some more caches. We got off to a slow start but we still managed 33 finds. Most caches were found quickly with a couple that took a few minutes to find TFTC
Well, the hider of the cache may say that the green camo tape doesn't really work, but it had me stumped!
Popped out during lunch for a bit of sunshine. Grabbed a cache as well. Cheers - Kiwi
Came back after work this afternoon and found it straight away. I could have sworn I tried that spot last time!
Was on my way to Big J's (best burgers!!) and thought I'd stop and look. Tried for about 5 minutes, but it was just too dark and wet for me to try any longer. I'll come back another time.
Had to come over to Mt Wellington this evening to deliver flowers, so checked out a candidate for our cache of the day before leaving home. Just as well, as when it came time to go caching it was discovered that the GPS was still at home . Was still able to walk straight to GZ and find the cache. Thanks.
Was a bit early today again coming from up north to miss the rush hour traffic and still had this one to collect in the vicinity of my sister's house so thought I should have a look. Managed to find it quite fast. Amazing how many little parks there are around the place. TFTC encontarnos.
Seeing that there was an event tonight at Sylvia Park I decided to come to the area a bit early to miss the traffic from the North Shore. This was the first cache to find and was successful.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Son found this one in record time - and we found a monkey hiding inside! We took the TB and popped in a couple of wild animals so the cache wouldn't feel too lonely. TB wasn't on the inventory for the cache, so came as a bit of a surprise! We will help send him on his way
Nice spot.. good to see the kids problem solve (eventually).. an easy find ..with wendythebean mack Molly and sophia tftc
Let the kids find this one..... So entertaining....... They walked right past it but with a bit of encouragement their brains kicked into gear.....TFTC
After arriving at the right reserve it was a nice easy find for 7yo, needed to use the clue as GPS not working well

We found our first geocache!! That was so much fun. Our new life of adventure begins as of today Josh and Tracey
Spotted an obvious spot on approach to GZ... A quick feel and cache was in hand for Day 16 of 31 Days of Geocaching
Felt a little exposed... So hopefully not too many busy bodies in the neighbouring houses!
Could kick myself for forgetting my swag bag, as indicated in three cache description... As a few swaps to be had [B)]

Cache find was straightforward; cache in order, log signed; cache safely re-hidden, just as found.
An area well known to us and a surprise to others.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

A nice quick easy find while in the area. Log was full so left a new one and a plastic bag. TFTC.
