Work has been busy and so I thought I would have a day off to go caching - thought I might luck the 15 millionth cache got the current souvenir but seems it was found last night. Trying to up my D/T average for the year so targeting these (though in the end I went for the numbers on Ned Kelly series). Lots of DNFs and even more that my TOTT was not sufficient for. And a bruised body from a fall on one cache. But still a glorious (if warm) spring day in the bush.First one the drive into my first stage of caches for the day in the Warby Ranges. A quick park and grab as I entered the park.TFTC Bushbaby321
Out this morning with Byker tackling a few more caches on the Warbies. Great day out, even the BYO ladder ones were enjoyable with the rickety old ladder Byker had borrowed. Finished off the day highlight was the end of the day caching along Spring Creek.
Homebound now, quick stop here on the way out. TFTC!

Out with Geowife and Geodog exploring the area on this beautiful day. All good here. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC
Babies might sleep but giant mozzies are having a breeding party and they like me! Spontaneity sees me here on account of a local waxing lyrical about the falls and cascades within cooee. It’s all about timing and a bluebird day was another incentive to get out and about. TFTC and the fun.
Mr Morris has a few weeks off but with border restrictions we thought we'd do a slow lap of Victoria while we had some good weather.
After 2 nights at Terrick Terrick we are heading directly East for a few days near Wangarratta and Beechworth. After setting up camp at the Forest Camp campgrounds we headed out to explore the area. A day of mixed fortunes as we don't have a ladder and some of the multis tricked us. Nice to explore the area though.
The cache was easily spotted from the car so we have covered it up a bit better.

Out for an afternoon in the Warbys with Dalerious with a few specific destinations planned. This one was in the way so a good starter for the day.

Thank you Bushbaby123 for an end to a glorious days caching. Cache found in good condition
Found this one while heading back in Wang after the morning trekking about in the Warby's. This was a nice quick park and grab while passing by, had no trouble locating and logging the cache. Thanks Bushbaby321 for the hide.
A quick find here and my last in the area for today as I turn to the west towards the Solo art trail.
I live close to this one and it has gotten the better of me several times. Today I found it. As one of the last to find it said, I'm not sure if the elevation is still as intended but I replaced it where I found it. Tftc!
I wasn't confident of a find here after seeing 2 DFF's posted, but the cache was discovered at GZ with exact coords.
I'm not sure if the elevation of this cache is the same as when it was placed but after signing the replacement log, I returned it as found.[^]
It was great to look back through the old (slightly damp) log book and see so many very well known early cachers that had been here before me.

Couldnt find it. Hasnt been found since 2016, wondering if its still here...?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Did not find. Possibly been moved by muggles. As has not been logged since 2016 - may need to be looked at if to still in same location as originally believed.
A Swarm Of Goblins enjoyed this one very much, being amongst the trees in the black of night. As'argh TY!
With the afternoon looking fine I took an opportunity to head into the Warby's again to do some more exploring. I had a few caches in mind for the area I was going to as well. A great day out was had!
Picked up this one on my way home. With head torch on I searched in the dark, around and around I went until I finally spotted it.
This one would be a little easier in daylight! Still only took a few minutes before I returned to a warm car I left running.

Heading off in search of more caches today after a couple of nights in the awesome Warbies and this was the first cache to be found. Almost left with a DnF, I was all this way and that and backwards and forwards before finally spotting it. Not an easy thing to see.
TFTC Cheers.

Looked high and low but I couldn't find it. Even changed the batteries in the GPS because it said they were low.
Day three of our month long escape from Tassie. A reasonably quick find on a very warm afternoon. TFTC
TFTC. We are parked on a friends block in Killawarra. Thos cache is not too far away. Keen to keep up a cache a day I went out this morning on a run to attempt this cache and then head into town for fuel. Nice easy find and cache is in good condition.
The seal is not working. The container was full of water. Log in sealed bag is dry thanks to previous kind cachet.
Out wodering and thought I'd have another go at this one. Found it and replaced the log cause it was too damp to sign. TFTC
This was an in and out and back in again cache. Lived around this area for nearly 20 years and I've never been up around this area, thanks for bringing me here. SL TFTC
Staying in Wangaratta for a few days, to cache around the area and do some sightseeing.
Searched for some time before we located this cache, but it was full of water.
Dried it out as best we could, put log back - damp but useable.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Bushbaby321, for us and others to find.

After finding the Numbers and Names Challenge I checked my lists and saw I still needed a five so was very happy when this cute little container was found, and then forgot to log it! Doh!
Out for a drive to check out the nearby kennels for our daughter and dropped by to pick up a TB and leave one in its place. The Son of Red TB gets to explore some more Kelly country. Glad to see this cache is surviving well.
This was a little tricky for me today but I kept looking and eventually located it. I loved the cache and the hide and dropped off a TB that needs to keep travelling within Australia.
Suscoe's 6th find of 37 for today.
It was a tale of two halves today, before lunch steady rain, after lunch a bit of sun and wind.
A delightful drive up the road today and arriving at GZ we soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks to Bushbaby321 for placing this cache here.

[:(!] Spending the weekend in Albury with my geoson and his geofamily and what better way of spending the day but to do a caching run and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

After nearly squishing a turtle on the way up and having 3 cars go past while looking, I was getting a little concerned. However, pack up time came when a motorbike came out of a nearby property and drove all the way around my car at close proximity. Time to call it a day on this one.
Nice hide, was trying to be stealthy because of the houses nearby so I took my time hanging around looking at the view as I waited for the Muggle that I had spotted out of the corner of my eye to move away, I didn’t want to make eye contact in case they decided to make conversation. After a couple of minutes I started to get a bit worried that they were watching me so I decided to move on, as I walked back to the car I chanced a glance in their direction only to realise that I was being spied on by a Muggle scarecrow. I am sure they will keep the secret so I retrieved the cache. tnl: critters slt4tc
Of course we check out all the usual spots before finding the real GZ. We didn't find any Sleeping Bushbabies - I guess it was a bit wet tonight.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Didn't realize the close relationship here until I was told. I guess you'll know what I mean. Found in the dark on quite a wet night. Glad to have both a good raincoat and torch. Can't say huge amounts about the location but I'm sure it's pretty. Only saw what the torch lit up.
Thanks Bushbaby
Thanks Bushbaby
After the GPS settled it was a quick find. The poor tree has serious borer infection.
Unlike the previous finder I walked straight up to this one. TFTC 5th for the day and thats enough, also put 2 newies out.
One of 43 finds for the day, on a days caching with two of my kiddies, 4yo Marindah and 3yo Natasha in the Wangaratta area. Have not cached this way for a little while, and the number of unfound caches has been creeping up, so time to do something about it. Today was the day....!
This was the first find for the day, found pretty quick once the iPhone4 settled down. Yes, the iPhone4 is my primary caching GPSr and it works great. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC.

Would you believe this was my third attempt at finding this one?! Nevertheless, it's now done, and will stop haunting me from my map. TFTC, a sneaky little hide.
Found by The Empire @ 10:55am with tackle_head
Find number 10 of 52, on a BIG day in and around Wangaratta. Thanks to Bushbaby321 for the cache.

# 387. I saw this one yesterday but thought it was a long way away. As Harrowang and I were heading out to do the Power Path they drove me out to this one so I could hopefully find it. It took me way too long running around in circles before this one was found. A nice hide thanks Bushbaby321. Just a warning - there was a lot of fencing wire near the big tree that I did not see, got caught in and fell flat on my face. It is hard to see so be careful when searching near GZ. TN, Left: Pathtag.
Found this morning on our way to Wang for a days caching... good hide Bushbaby321 Look forward to many more in the future. TFTC
#2587 We just missed another cache up the road as there were people camping near GZ - so for The GeoPrincess's sake this cache was a "must do". Well it ended up being pretty tricky for us and in fading light it was made harder. Thank goodness for good co-ordinates!! The GeoPrincess was tempted to take the bangle but as we didn't have any swaps we left it for someone else. Thanks very much Bushbaby321, we enjoyed your first cache - even more so because we managed to find it
FTF !! Yay us. On our way to Melbourne to take cicada (grandson) home, we did a little detour to see if we could snaffle a FTF. Cicada did the honours at 8.50am. Great 1st hide Bushbaby321 - cicada was impressed and us too!! Being a City kid, cicada thoroughly enjoyed the track through the bush and the cockatoos, galahs and even a couple of kangaroos along the way. Took: balloon (which kept cicada occupied on the trip south) Left: koala TFTC - we look forward to some more hides from you.
