Can confirm previous log by ianandpenny. Major bridgeworks being undertaken and road access blocked from either direction. May need archiving temporarily until works completed.

Ther is quite a lot of work going on at the bridge here and the road is closed. It may pay to disable the cache until the work is complete.
Journeying back to Bendigo following a successful Cohuna Matata event, I took my usual round about way which was definitely not the most direct route to add to the numbers. A quick find then it was off to find some more before eventually arriving home late in the evening. Many thanks Beerjoeyjoe for placing this cache.
# 3013. Robmc and I had attended the Cohuna Matata Event over the long week-end. Today we were collecting a few more in the area. We came here and were surprised to see the lonely plaque by the side of an extremely dry and dusty landscape. We were also surprised to see the flood sign nearby. The cache was sitting in the open as it won't fit back where it came from due to some damage to the structure. TFTC
Found with BPJTHillas during the Cohuna event. TFTC
BTW - not sure about logging finds on your own hides...(even when you do maintenance)

A long weekend's caching around Cohuna with Bettyboo3747.
Not too much left of the old town. Did it have anything to do with the 9 meter flood marker nearby?
Of course a Pub was the first building to go up.
Thanks, Robmc.
PS: I think the hide has been compromised a bit. The cache was on the ground nearby and wouldn't fit where we thought it should go.

Found by Mary & David at 1450. We enjoy historical facts and figures like these. Hard to believe the water rose so high here only last year! Our thanks to Beerjoeyjoe.
First to sign new log book A nice quick find. Hope that this container lasts.
Thanks Beerjoevjoe

Found missing, assumed muggled - so new container and log plus swaps replaced today. And hidden a bit better to prevent easy accidental finders cheers
An Epic trip from Mildura to Mount Beauty - This was the Eighth find for the day, on a very cold night. We collected 54 caches for the day. We traveled many side roads, saw many sights, experienced many interesting caches and areas, and the trip took about 18 hours. It was frosty and misty on the bridge at 4.30 am. Took TB.
Road a little sticky after recent rains but not a problem. (think I might have logged the wrong date in the logbook...thought it was the 26th!! Oops!) Took a TB and left TB. TFTC
very easy find saw it as soon as we got out of car, kicked up a few weeds to cammo it a bit more tftc
Tb drop ..... And the graders are working today to make the road even smoother
Got a funny look from a muggle driving by - hard to look invisible here. Thanks for the cache.
10 of 12 on the way to Robinvale for work.
Bunpy old ride down the road, guess it's knocked up from the flooding.
Cache was a quict find.

Found by Roma and Max.
This is one of the rare occasions where we have missed logging a cache, for whatever reason!
However better late than never and we recall enjoying the search and our later meeting with Wazza and his team at the next cache in town.
Thanks and cheers,
from Romax.

We'd heard good reports about a food joint in Swan Hill so decided to take a weekend off and try out the tucker. Of course, we'd have to find a few caches along the way...
A quick and easy find. As we hit the highway on the way back to Kerang we spotted Romax turning off in front of us to also search for this cache. We caught up with them in Kerang a short time later.
Thanks Beerjoeyjoe

Spotted this one while logging a few caches gave the plodder a buzz and decided to chase this one down at night! Great to see another local cache thanks to beerjoeyjoe!
A Saturday night telephone call from 'The Comrades' - "Hey want to go get a recently added Kerang cache?". "Absolutely!" my reply. So off we went around 9pm and by torchlight had the cache to hand after a short search. I went back a few days later to see the cache site in daylight and it's better to find in daylight. Some good fishing spots nearby too. Thank you to 'Beerjoeyjoe' for the cache and location. TNLN.
Well we have not been here before love seeing new areas. Easy find. Lots of swaps. Took TB
