Hi Chwiliwr, found “Wandoo Brush Tail Possum” today grabbing a few roadside caches with Redruthguy. TFTC from Probsty
Back for day two hoping for no aerial burning today so that I can get further into the bush. Beautiful blue sky - great day to get out and add smilies to my map. Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches.

Out with the Better Half for a maintenance run of my Wandoo caches and also doing some maintenance of the Wandoo caches placed by Keego and Chil.
All my caches were checked and the logs replaced. Where needed the cache container was replaced as well.

A big day of hunting down Wandoo caches. A sunny 30 degree day with hardly anyone around. Perfect bush caching day.

Nice quick find might need some maintenance thanks to Chwiliwr for such an awesome series of caches .
An easy find, out caching with Schnappy96 during the WAGoesBig long weekend TFTC
Mum took her time finding this one but found it in the end on our girls weekend at WAGB Northam! Found with Geogypsys! Tftc
Having to be back in York today, I grabbed another opportunity to find more of this series on the way home (leaving a bit earlier than I should have). Nice quick find here, TFTC Chwiliwr!
Our caching run today included just a amall sample of the many caches in the Wandoo cache series, found along with ilook4geo. It was a matter of some animal, some vegetable and just a touch of mineral. The caches were chosen at random and there are plenty that we had to leave for another time. Each log had two names added before we moved on to the next one. Many thanks go to Chwiliwr for adding to such an extensive series of caches to be found.
There are so many caches to be found around this area, so we just had to make a selection, while out caching with goimgplaces2. No problem with finding this one. Very happy to add another smiley to our map here. TFTC.
Headed out again this morning to finish off this series. The road was terrible but I'm glad that I came after maintenance was done, 0 dnfs. Thanks Chwiliwr.
I took the better half for a drive to do some maintenance on all of the Wandoo series of caches down Yarra Road .
Some of them required replacing, some were fixed and a few were relocated as part of the maintenance so they are now all OK again.
We then went on and did a couple of others further east.

Big nasty redback sitting on cache. Was going to push it off, but it wasn't happy to comply
Out and about on the Wandoo Series on geosons birthday. Really enjoyed all the caches on a mild January day. We really enjoyed the beautiful bush This was our biggest day ever. Day was a massive day with 56 finds. Thanks to the CO's for placing all of these caches.
Up and out about early with Neva2old to claim a few smileys, we headed out to make a start on the Wandoo Series and any that jumped out along the way. After a quick search this cache was soon in hand and a smiley claimed TFTF

Hmm, with Monts napping at home, maybe he is the smarter one out of us in this rain. This container is also broken. TFTC Chwiliwr
Spent aus day caching with muskcat83 and janssej and kids. Thanks for the series. Will be back to finish
Met up with ctvanderlinden and muskcat83 for the day in search of my 1000th find. Needed 52 to achieve this goal - we ended up with 101 for the day! It was a warm Australia Day, but a great way to spend the day in the bush, seeing kangaroos, wallaby's and even a race horse goanna! Thanks heaps for the series - we'll be back at some point to finish it off i'm sure!

Thank you! Out for a caching day with papillon367, Photo-play and Bindi01. After a warm-up with the Cascades series, we headed off to do a couple of sections of the Wandoo series. We ended up finding all of the trees (bar one that was disabled) and all of the animals, and a few of the birds too. Thanks again to all of the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. I hope to be back to complete the series soon.
Found it. TFTC Chwiliwr. Teamed up with Ullyssia, Papillon367 and Bindi01 to do part of the Wandoo series. Really great walk and drive through this area.
Teamed up with ullyssia, Photo-Play and Papillon367 again for a full day of caching.

Teamed up with ullyssia, Photo-Play and Bindi01 for a full day of caching, the biggest so far for all of us! We started by a walk to pick up the Cascades series, then we continued onto the Wandoo series. We found all the flowers (except one not in play), a few of the birds and all the animals, plus a few extras, ending up with 82 finds for the day. Most were quick finds as the coordinates were spot on. Thank you for the hide Chwiliwr and for the series – nice choice of themes and great concept to have multiple owners for a joint series.
A call went out and a plan was hatched to tackle the Wandoo series. Very early this morning we joined forces with WebblyWA to see how we would fair and with the expectation that it would be good to complete at least half the series. We started and just cached, cached and cached finishing 11.5 hours later with 138 finds and the series completed apart from one that is temp disabled. Had a great day and a huge thanks to the CO's and those that maintain the series. Sorry for the mostly generic logs.
TFTC Chwiliwr this is find # 1702 for us

January's challenge mission for me was to collect at least 300 caches. Knowing I could get almost half way there with one series, I put out a call to see who would like to join me on an epic WANDOO day and Team Fratra was up for it so plans were made. We met up early collecting the first cache at 6.45am. Completing the series 11 and a half hours later, with No DNFs and only one glitch left on the map of a cache that is currently disabled. My total for the day finished up with a few extras at 140 as darkness, wind and rain set in.
It was a wonderful day and we had great weather for the majority of the day. Massive thanks to the COs and everyone that has put work into maintaining the series.
Cache #106 for the day. TNLN. The lid on this one is cracked around the edges so could do with a replacement on the next maintenance run but for now the contents are safe and dry inside.

Having finished the Wandoo birds today, thought I'd make a start on the animals leg. Clouds rolled in and made the trip on Yarra Rd not so pleasant...will finish another day. TFTH's -all found quickly and easily

Out to finish the wandoo series and Being clean up Australia day, we also concentrated on CITO and ended up with a boot load by the finish, Thanks for the effort Chwiliwer cache is in good condition.
With a week touring around Perth, some time obviously had to be made for caching out here on the west coast. I started the day off slowly today with some short hikes, and then by lunchtime had decided to attempt finding over 100 caches today solo.
With the hint there was no doubt as to where this one would be, so another pleasant and quick find in this enjoyable muggle-free bush location.
This was #10 of 105 today (DNFs = 0 so far).
Thanks for placing this cache, Chwiliwr, and thanks to all COs who set out the Wandoo series.

Out in the mighty patrol today with nick to collect the procrastination installation 46 through to 1 we found them all in good condition and left path tags along the way.
The weather was spot on and there was even some mud for the patrol to splash about in !
We found all 46 in about 5 hours... Our gps was having a melt down today so we walked around in circles a few times.
sorry for the generic log
thanks for the series.
Collected 60 caches all up for a grand total of 850 on the way to the gollden k 1000- caches

Day 2
Geohubby is enjoying driving on the unsealed road......he is a pom at heart!
We had to go into York for a few supplies and so we sort of mixed up our sections of the Wandoo series today but it was not difficult to manage with the aid of the printed record sheets. 52 finds in total today (which included a few non Wandoos for good measure) & no DNFs which is a testament to the high standard of maintenance on this series. It was 36 degrees at its peak today & when we got to Yarra road the dust was flying everywhere, come to think of it, so were the flies. The spring flowers are still looking magnificent making the trip even more memorable. Thanks to Chwiliwr & Allied Pranksters for today's sections.

Out with krabiboy today picking up as many of the series today i really enjoyed it can't wait to get out and finished it. TFTC
Caught up with Loudy16 to head out and attempt to finish off my Wandoo Series today. I messaged Allied Oz a few days before to see if he wanted any maintenance done, and he decided to join us for the adventure. Great day out on the trails with all remaining Wandoo caches found. A massive thanks to all of the COs involved in making this series happen. TFTC Chwiliwr
My main mission today was to grab the GCA caches in th area, and I also did quite a few GC ones, mostly Wandoo caches - not sur. Made an early start as I had to be home by mid-day to take the geo-muggle-missus to a ballet show, so the first find of the day was made by torch light. It was a cold misty morning, but lovely in the bush.
Unfortunately, I missed the Ridley Road turn-off that I was going to take for three of the GCA caches and ended up taking a much longer route and also doing more Wandoos than intended. This meant that I only had time to do three of the four GCA caches that I had in my sights AND we were almost late for the ballet.
Good to get a few more Wandoos logged and picked up a couple of codes for the final as well.
SL. Thanks for the hide Chwiliwr

Had been advised that there was a broken lid on one of my Wandoo series of caches so came out today and did a maintenance run on all of them. Replaced the broken lid and repaired another that I found was cracked. Some caches had developed a bit of cache creep and one had been buried for some reason so put them back where they were supposed to be.
Spent many hours today doing the Animals part of the Wandoo series. Then We headed down to York to grab a few more smilies.

We spent today doing the “Animals” leg of the Wandoo series, plus few others. We then went into York for a couple of hours. It was a brisk but beautifully fine winter’s day. Most caches were in great condition, and all were easy, but fun finds.
We managed 50 finds (which is now our best of 1 day) and 1 DNF.
Thanks to all the COs for their caches.

A big day had been in the planning fr sometime with Spatialriq and today it had finally arrived.
The goal was to complete the Wandoo series in a single day. An early start was arranged and we found our first cache at 6.01am. The last, the Bonus box. at 5.01pm Exactly 11 hours later.
A great day on the road and great company. All caches were found fairly quickly with spot on co-ords with the exception of one DNF.
A credit to the four cache owners on this series and the ongoing mantenance to keep it aliv. Well done.
This was cache number 97 out of 132 for today. Also our total find number 2974

For the past few months, Kyzabra and I have been trying to find a day to tackle this series. Fortuitously it ended up coinciding with the last blank day my geocaching calendar.
We met up at 6am at the Rock Inne Tavern and worked our way around the series. By the time we found the final puzzle cache it was 5pm ... for me it was 147 finds (and yes I found 3 more on the way home) ... I couldn't miss getting 150 in a day when I was that close . Oh, and only 1 DNF for the day. What's a day of geocaching without at least 1 DNF! [:o)]
Thanks to the 4 CO's who put this series together and keep it going. TFTC.

Tackled a good chunk of the Wandoo series series today with dcorunna and jlotsos. We started near the corner of Yarra rd and headed north. This section was very peaceful with no muggle cars whizzing past on the gravel road and all the finds were fairly straight forward. Picked up about 50 all up with a couple of others thrown in along the way and not one DNF amongst them.
Myself and dcorunna were both heading towards GZ and we spotted the unnatural looking camo at the same time.
