Reperio 10:13Today I ventured towards Bathurst for the Mount Panorama Punish run event, and once that was done, I headed out for some caches on a long detour to home. Headed up to Bathurst for a weekend geocaching trip with a group of like minded adventurers from Canberra. All the puzzles were solved before leaving Canberra. The weather in Bathurst was cold, but great, not a raindrop in sight. We planned our drive to collect a few along the way, and this was one of them. Thank you Becon4046 & Alwyn255 for the placement.

Long weekend trip to Bathurst. Barb2e and I are collecting caches in smaller towns on the way. Once I convinced my phone that I wasn't 4.12 km away, I quickly spotted the cache. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
On the way to Bathurst with isopeda for another Canberra invasion. Taking the back roads and collecting some caches on the way. Tftc
Lucky quick find for me. A very late change of mind saw me heading to Bathurst today to join in the Canberra Bathurst Invasion 24, which will take off tomorrow morning. Today, however, I am planning on grabbing as many caches as I can before dark settles in. This was one of them, and it has been signed and replaced where I found it. Apologies to all COs for the generic log but that is not meant to imply that I don't appreciate and acknowledge the effort that goes into placing and maintaining your caches. Thanks for contributing to our special game.A note will be added to any that I feel requires it.

#7203 Last day of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are heading home, leaving Bathurst and heading down south via the AL on Mt Panaorama. Warm clear conditions again today, unlike north of the border
A scenic spot.

I didn't notice any windmills milling while I milled around looking for the cache [:o]
Or was the thing a wind turbine consisting of four, half-44 gallon drums ??
I saw one of those recently ... it might have been here
Whatever the cache,
I found a cache here

It was time for a big weekend caching, so I was joined by Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK for two days to tackle the new TRLT caches just East of Bathurst, This part of the trip went smoothly. I also managed to squeeze in a few more on the day after whilst traveling between the rain on Monday.
After Fitzy and MinnieK had to go home, I spent the afternoon getting more of the caches in this region. A collection of puzzles near Oberon was the main target.
Thanks.

Coords were spot on, but I didn't believe them, so I looked at the tree and the fence, then decided to trust the cachly app. TFTC
This was a quick park and grab as we headed south to find some caches for Canary to get to his 9000th. We actually spotted the cache immediately from above, since it was a little exposed, so we made sure we put it back carefully. Thanks

A very quick find, as bikerbuddy spotted it from the road. I put a little camo over it when I put it back, to make it less likely to be spotted by a random paser-by. Left a trackable.
Thank you

We have had a wonderful time caching around Bathurst and on the back roads, love the rural scenery. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thanks to becon4046 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Was going camping at Abercrombie Caves for the weekend so stopped to pick up a few caches in the area.

Last minute drive in the country with fitzy_1965 and DK had us heading out to Blayney and back. Such a glorious day to be out in the fresh air and doing a bit of caching whilst we were at it.
Only saw cows....where are the making making machines. I jumped out and grabbed this one while fitzy turned the car around. (He had found it previously).

#4734 - 17:00; Off on another day run with Sol de lune. This time we are headed to Blayney via Goulburn and Crookwell and many small towns in between. A few more in the 'History of.....' series are on the radar, along with any other caches along our planned route. We were now headed for home along some more back roads, collecting the caches off our 'to do' list along the way. Another quick find as we headed back towards Trunkey Creek. TFTC becon4046
Leaving Canberra for Bathurst, we decided to "go direct" and pick up some caches north of the Hume Highway.
We saw plenty of wind turbines earlier in the day, but none here. Quick find today. All in good condition.

No issues with this one today and an old couple at the nearby cemetery gave us the history on this wind turbine.
This one took so long that enzo had given up and had gotten back in the car, but zita refused to stop looking. Our GPS was not playing the game and had us far away from where we eventually found it. A nice spot to stop on our drive home from Mudgee. TNLNSL TFTC

After finding a reasonably safe spot to park (nth bound) we made the 39 mt walk to GZ, with the EEEpad and Ozi leading the way, Ozi said we arrived and i looked at the surroundings and said to self 'could be here a while' but bugger me 2 seconds and another angle the cache was busted , who said you need a real gps, signed the log and replaced, then made the long walk to the car in the increasingly heavy rain, many thanx for the drive

Seems to be a problem with this one. I am away at the moment I will check this when I get back.
Seeing as I needed a find to cross of another day and this is the far one out this road, I hit it first after work but after 15 minutes of searching, I gave in and headed for the one closer to town.
Need one for the calendar tomorrow so might come this way for another look.
