I think I found the base of it glued onto the power box. If this was it it is definitely gone.
Think we found half of the cache rusted to the power box but no log. However we were logged by the police for looking suspicious.
There were heaps of mozzies so we decided to leave it for another time when we have bug spray
We are on holidays from Mount Gambier, SA & today we adventured of to do some caches close by. Quick & easy find today. Only did 8 out of 18 along here, some where had to get close by in a car & some we just couldn't find. Us Mount Gambians are really not used to this weather. We are fairly much used to rain & cold. TFTC
Found but was worried about damaging the log getting it out so we didn't sign it.
It was time to get on the pushbikes and see how many caches we could find along the bike trail. A nice warm sunny winter's day made for a very pleasant few hours riding along the riverside path.
Thanks Champs2Monkeys.
Thanks Champs2Monkeys.
[Blue]# 12419[/Blue] Found on our 2015 Winter escape trip to Qld.
Another very warm winter day to find a few more caches around townsville.
Today was the day for a bike ride along the RRPT. A good hide here too.
Cheers from Wagga Wagga in the Riverina, NSW.

Find #221
So, I decided to go for a drive this weekend.
Headed out from Mackay on Saturday and headed for Clermont.
Not enough so went to Charters Towers and stayed the night.
Done a few caches in Charters and then headed for Townsville.
Stayed the night and headed home on Monday.
Glad it was a long weekend.

10:55:00 AM. We set out today for numbers. We bought our bikes and it turns out the weather is perfect for a ride and caching. Rode up and amde the find. Signed log and moved on. Thanks Champs2Monkeys for placing this cache.
Out with MattCNS who was on maintenance duty. Found this one easily before Matty brought out the new log. TFTC
Found on a beautiful NQ morning before the heat came in. No log in the cache so I left a small piece of paper. What a magnicent hidimg place. TNLN.
I couldn't find this one. possibly the power co took objection to it being there
Today I undertook a personal challenge to find 24 caches in 24 hours in and around the Townsville and Ingham area. On such a lovely spring day I was lucky enough to find not only 24 caches but to explore this lovely part of Australia. I would like to mention the abundant wild life including wallabies, butterflies (too many varieties to mention), dragon flies, crocodiles, kangaroos, some kind of ant and I will call a green ass ant (they seem to swarm all over you and bite, not hard or with any venom but the numbers WOW or should I say WOE), dogs and an interesting creature I will call a “North Queenslander”. Many thanks to you guys sometimes pointing me in the right direction but most of all for being good guys.

Great find , plenty of car muggles but just had to get in and go for it. Cache is actually green not black as description says.
Quite a lot if driving muggles this arvo. A quick find with the clue.

25.7km over 3 1/2 hours. Many thanks to ICP for lending us their bikes [^].
We missed a few caches last time we tried this stretch of the RRPT so were back today to clean up [^]. Pagan had strict instructions to carry the pen and of course, left it at home [:(!][B)] but we always carry spares . He made up for some lost brownie points by making a quick find at this cache.
Thanks Champs2Monkeys

TFTC Champs2Monkeys. Found with Bob while out on a Sunday walk along the Ross River. We decided to do a bit of geocaching on the way plus it had been a while since we found any of the local caches. Nice easy finds today SL TN LN and RTC with perfect weather and very few muggles in sight. [^]
Out on a nice 4km long walk along the banks of the Ross River today and decided to pick up a few more of the RRPT caches. Quick find once at the GZ. TFTC C2M. TNLN SL {#350}.
North Qld 2013. Day 9 was my first full day in Townsville and today was the day to hit the Ross River Power trail. After fixing my bike up, I set out and visited a large range of caches along the river. It was a good range of caches some easy, some hard. I did not do them all but enjoyed everything I managed. . Thanks.

Our second day out caching with pprass.
We took the bikes to do another section of the RRPT trail.
This cache being right on the side of the road, it was a good use of a nano.
Thanks for the cache, Champs2Monkeys.

Found at 12:16 PM in the company of The Drovers GAFF1. Another find - we are starting to gain confidence again in this series. As the log book was reported to be full in May and no replacement was made, we just wrote our name anywhere we could find a spot - sorry but we had no choice.
Thanks Champs2Monkeys.

Put the pants back onto the log and placed it back into its hide. All good now.
Younger geo son dropped half of the critter and we could not find it in the grass. Will order a new one And replace it
Found this one, but we had a mishap. older geo ferret dropped the bottom of the critter in the grass and we could not find it. We'll order a new one and get the critter set back in its home as soon as possible.
Second attempt for me. Found easily this time.
Unfortunately, my pen wouldn't write, so I took a picture of the cache for record purposes.
NOTE - The picture is of the cache itself, so don't look if you don't want any spoilers.

After yesterday's Straya Day event we felt the need to get out and do a few more than the single Townsville cache we have already done.
Electing to leave the gCAV at home we made an early start on the geoTreadlies, but not early enough to beat the humidity!
geoP was dispatched to search for this one. Use of the hint shortened the search and she soon had the prize in hand.

Well after a prompting comment by the CO I went back to have a look. Bingo!!!! How on earth did I miss that?????? I am pretty sure I couldn't have. This little beasty has been moving I think, either that or my eyes were painted on.

C2M I spent a good 10 mins on this one and if it wasn't so early I would have rung for help. I'm pretty sure this one is gone!!!!!
Can't help thinking these caches are being targeted.
Disabled while I decide whether or not to replace.

We couldn't find anything on the powerbox. May need an owner check. I guess we were due for a dnf .
Nothing on the power box. I did find an object that perhaps was where it used to be.
As in a previous log there was evidence of a previous cache being here, fear not, the cache container is stil in play and was a quick grab. SL, TNLN, TFTC
A very late log for this one, sorry.
Dropped in for the second time onthis one about a week and a bit ago.
This time the eyes were definitely not painted on and it was found in the first place I looked.
I really did think I looked and felt there last time.
Strike this one off the list of a series that I had almost completed until a few new ones were published.
Looks like another RRPT assault is necessary.
Cheers and happy caching.

This was our 4th cache in our caching run today - and we found it at around 09:13.
(So this is our 4775th total find.)
At least this nano was easy to find. . . . .

I had grabbed this one with the Geo-bro but must have missed this one when logging our trek.
Hidden trickily, my brother found it quickly enough due to his height!

After having noted that the previous cacher was unable to locate a cache container at this GZ was a little concerned. Plenty of possible hiding spots, but eventually felt the container underneath hiding in a corner.
Signed log and returned the cache container to the same spot.

My only DNF for today.
Looked all over but couldn't see it.
Eyes maybe painted on?

Oops! Pressed a wrong button
I was attempting a night time smash of the area while up from Victoria, but was relegated due to time constraints to the park'n'grabs. A moderately successful night, and home in time for the start of the F1 race
Thanks for the caches, and the series that I'd love to finish before I head home.

This wasn't very difficult to locate although it wasn't quite so easy to appear casual sitting in the garden! Luckily I hunkered down behind things and signed and replaced the cache. TFT trail, it's fun
Yes, second blooding of the trip; fell over my own feet and scraped my knee; must have looked quite the picture of elegance tumbling out of the bushes! TFTC

Our forty- sixth day of our honeymoon to New Zealand and Australia.
This morning we left around 8.30 AM the Alligator Creek Road House rest area for some caching in Townsville Along the way to the power trail we saw the military training area and the copper factory. We parked our camper van at the Loam Island Boat ramp and walked first South. After finding all caches except one, we returned along the road which was much less amusing then the walk along the river side. As we had parked our camper in the middle we continued our walk along the road to the rest of the caches of the RRPT and after finding the last one, we crossed the road to get an ice cream at the fuel station, as it was hot today. After being back at the car we went to the north to do some multi caches and looked at an African festival. After that we visited some solved mysteries and before returning to the Alligator Creek Road House rest area we visited the Coles to do the shopping for the last week. Now we are using the power supply at the rest area for logging our finds. In our geocaching career we never found a cache on June 16, but today we managed to do some.
We found this cache today at 11.10 AM local time.
We had already seen the welcome sign when driving to the parking place of the first cache. But now we could have a closer look to it. That closer look was really needed to find the cache, as it was again a nano. After signing we continued our walk.
