I was standing directly ontop of it according to Gps but it was just dense dried bushes that the last Dnf described.
Looks like this one has gone. It was an easy find, so 3 DNFs is bad news. Will check it out soon but if you're reading this and wondering about looking for the cache ... probably not worth it I'm afraid.
DNF. I'm sure this has been muggled. I found the yellow container/s thrown on the ground behind the GZ. Perhaps time for a CO check.
Dropped by after work in failing light because I really felt like a find.
Surprised there is such a vast expanse of empty land with trails here - A bit of a hidden secret.
Walked down to GZ, passing a roo or two then started the search. Did not find for about 10 minutes but eventually got it and signed. Quite obvious when you think about it.
Watch out for the big spider inside, almost got me!
Thanks for the cache!

Found on a Sunday afternoon bike ride with the geo-son. The area has had some work done on it and the cache was exposed so hid it a little better. Many thanks Dr Livingstone
A relaxing morning stroll to find a couple of caches, finding this one first before Hagar's Heights. The log is pretty damp, but hopefully my sign is legible!

Found on the way to maintain an old cache of geomum from 10 years ago. Paper is a bit waterlogged, may need to be replaced as hard to walk on. Thanks!

Time to knock off these 3 caches that have been taunting me every time I come past. I drove up and parked at the gate and then started my walk in. After a short trip I came across GZ and made the find. Simples yes? SL and replaced. TFTC.

On the way to Hagar's Heights just had to find this one.
Initial scan of the GZ made me think this would be tough - but then ah ha, could it be...

This one could have been a lot more difficult than it actually was. The cache and it's 'holder' had been knocked from their perch which made it a bit easier to find. The log was a bit damp and full so we didn't try and write on it, it would have torn. Replaced the cache back to it's correct spot to keep everyone safe.
TFTC nice easy one while out for a stroll. Log was only very minor level damp and should be right.
Not quite what I expected but a pleasant find on my walk out to Hagar's Heights. SL TFTC
Quite a quick find on apache I've been meaning to do for a while since its quite close to home. Nice one TFTC
PS. log is still damp and not really possible to write on.

18/01/13 6:34 AM. Cache #379. Current streak: 131 days. Parked at the gate and took the short walk to this one. Something stood out - I could "pick it" . Log was a bit damp, but sign-able. On to Hagar's Heights. TFTC }:)
Made the stroll in, to be met by a loud dog just after the gate, owned by a woman doing some weeding and bush regeneration. Once at GZ I had a hunch , which eventually turned out to be correct but didn't help to start with as the cache wasn't where it should have been and was on the ground. So a bit of wasted time checking other possibilities before I spotted it. Then up the hill to the next one, thanks Jack and Dr Livingstone.
This was an easy find, once I got to GZ. I had been in this area before so I knew where to start from. However it was the first time I had used C:/geo and walked past GZ while trying to trouble shoot multiple problems such as why it was not showing logging in, why once logged it it did not know the coordinates of the cache, how the arrow thingy worked etc. No spiders, just a pleasant lunch time walk. This is an mico I actually enjoyed.
Was a funnel web guarding the cache part of the challenge. Ps its dead now .....
Beware the huntsman that is living with the cache. I left him undisturbed and didn't sign the log.
Really great walk to cache, and a fairly quick find once there. Did look in the complete wrong spots a couple time before coming up with the cache, and a runner passed us 3 times while looking and signing the log Oh well, TFTC and nice bush walk.
A rainy Sunday, on our way home from Bunnings, we made a detour to this cache. Parked just outside the gate and walked up to GZ. After some searching we soon had the cache in hand.
A busy Saturday, netball, coffee, shopping, picking up geoson from an overnight camp, friends coming over in the afternoon - where can Ifit in a geocache? So in a 20 minute window I managed a short detour to Jack's cache. Found in the only place it could be. TFTC
I wasn't looking forward to searching for a bush micro. I needn't have worried. It's a nice roadside cache that makes sense. TFTC
Another cache area i know well from previous caches. Easy find and i espeacially like the little decoy you added.

Very quick find. Not sure this should be a three star terrain. My kids and I have cycled this track a few times in the past. Some very nice views and interesting single track off the end of the fire trail. TFTC
A quick find on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Continued walking along the trail and enjoyed looking at the views.
Needing a find today to complete April I was in Belrose and thought I'd scope out the approach to a walk to a trig on this fire trail. I'd hoped the gate was open but it wasn't, only on days when the model plane club is on I guess. Anyway for this cache that wasn't a problem as it was a short stroll. I was expecting slightly rougher terrain going by the 3 rating (it's only a 1.5) and I was a little concerned to be looking for a film canister when there's plenty of room for regular caches here. However it was down to the hide in the end which made sense, I was put off by a decoy at first but then made the find. As I was signing a woman who was coming back along the trail asked me if I was working in the area today. I thought I'd explain what is was about - people who walk in the bush have a much better grasp on these things! Anyway we had a nice chat and she left.
I continued down the trail to another cache.
Thanks!

We saw this pop up on the way home but the traffic awful and slow. Arrived at the turn off to GZ and must have seen the FTFer's just leaving. We headed off down the track and soon arrived at GZ. A quick search and we soon had cache in hand. Opened the log to see 2ndTF at 5.30pm 1hr after publishing (itf only the traffice was better). Completed the singing duties nd replaced. TFTC
Saw this cache pop up and said to kids, there is a new cache up the road do you want to find it? No. 20 minutes later they came back begging to go find it. So we set off. We parked the car and took the short walk to GZ. Once there Kara found the cache instantly. Next thing there is a loud scream and the cache flying through the air. She also found the spider guarding it. We retrieved the cache and now for the excitement of opening cache to see if we were FTF. Woohoo an empty log and another FTF.
On the way home from work decided to take a punt and meet the family. Just on dusk we walked in. Found the cache very easily (luckily sans cache guardian), signed the log, third to find. Congrats Karabo on the FTF
