Signed the tiny scrap of paper as small as I could to leave room! A tricky spot, glad I honed in on it quickly. TFTC!
Thought I saw something fall but couldnt see over the fence properly. Perhaps its worth a maintenance call

One of five Eastern Suburb caches claimed on my one day hiatus between interstate trips. Its been ages since my last Mary MacKillop cache, and then two in a week. Ive been here once before and Im pretty confident that the cache was missing at the time. Im not sure about this one though. A glass container, and its right across from a school too. In any case, thanks for the cache and the series Travelling Sister.
Quick grab on the walk home light was fadeing fast but found it with my torch in the end. Nice container to. TFTC
I decided to skip this one for a number of reasons. First of all, its really hard to look, discreet crawling through that tight space behind the bus shelter. And its also across the street from a school, which at least at least makes me look very suspicious. So I just decided to move on.

Pocketed quickly to avoid muggles, but also caught a fistful of dirt and an old serviette. Logged after several minutes of emptying pocket. Glad it wasn't a snotty tissue! 
Muggles waiting at the bus stop so I took advantage of the sunny morning and went for a walk to find a nearby cache ‘Pepper’. A quick find on my return to the car. TFTC

DNF by choice. Someone left an especially stinky dog poop on top of the bin, decided not to look with the smell. Will try again on a hopefully less smelly day.
Not sure if this has been moved, taken or lost but couldn’t find anything anywhere near the bin or bus stop
We went looking for this one with ilook4geo found it successfully once the waiting muggle got on the bus and left . The cache was quickly found as the sun showed where to place the hand first. Thanks go to Tavelling Sister for placing this cache.
Came along here with goingplaces2 for a quick find once the coast was clear. TFTC.

Was looking in with a lady watching me, she quickly mentioned she was often at this bus stop but had never found this one! Phew! Cache soon found, had a short chat and we had to leave. Nice to meet you!

With GreyHams we set out for another chapter of our caching challenge... To find all the counties in NSW. We flew into Adelaide early Friday morning with a return plane from Melbourne Monday night. Taking advantage of some super cheap car hire driving one way from Adelaide to Melbourne. Of course, as a four day road trip it leads into collecting as many counties as was possible as we pass through SA and Victoria as well, with a few side trips for those that were close enough.
The counties a high priority but many caches of interest, the oldies are always great, about 16 2001 caches found plus many others just as old. Web Cams, virtuals, great DT which would see us complete our fifth loop of the DT grid, large caches and lots of regular sizes too. The trip list also included a cache type of each we were missing for each state as well.
Simply, if we stopped for a cache that had made it onto the list, it was not just any random cache, it was selected for a quality of some type we were seeking.
One of the harder things about caching after flying somewhere is that all the TOTT are left behind...usually! So it just had to be done and we took an esky with us on the plane for all those fabulous cold drinks along the way.
The thing I love the most is that we also took a ladder with us on the plane too!
We had targeted the 'on your bike' wherigo series, so many puzzles, so many hours of them so the ladder was important if we wanted to find all the high DT, up the tree caches... which we did! Later in Ballarat we went 'above and beyond' with the ladder once again. A truly essential item to have, we may now need to invest in that inflatable Kayak for future adventures too!
Perhaps it must be said that our route was the least direct way we could have traveled via the Hay Plains and Griffith, but covered a lot of road, counties and locations leading to yet another great trip. Although a number of park and grabs, made closer by our reliable and tough SUV, we also managed a lot of walks, hills, bush, and just a great variety as we explored the different areas.
We crossed the Murray river many times, a lovely healthy looking river system. After our recent trip from Adelaide to Sydney, via Broken Hill and Bourke the dry rivers out there are a very sad sight compared with the Murray.
With so much achieved that we had set out for it was a very successful trip but also an enjoyable one with many memories made and a new batch of stories too! Thanks to all the CO's for there caches that lead us in our travels.

Aquilus1 and myself are on a mission.... to collect all of the counties in NSW! but how to get to those 'hard to reach' ones from where we are in Canberra? It would be an awfully long round trip. The answer was supplied in the super cheap car rental deals available if you drive one-way from Adelaide to either Sydney or Melbourne... I guess too many cars do it the other way and the cars need to get back somehow. Flying to ADL on points meant fuel was by far the biggest transport cost we paid for.
This trip is actually trip number two.... to drive from ADL to MEL, via Hay & Griffith! Yeah, thats logical! It was fun explaining where we were going to people, we got a lot of strange looks. The first trip was ADL to SYD, via Bourke. The bonus of course is we have also cleaned up a lot of SA & VIC counties as well.
OK, so primary goal is counties but we of course had 5 or 6 goals. Oldies was definitely a priority, I think we picked up 16 hides from 2001 on the trip along with lots of 2002-2006's. D/T of course is never overlooked and we did well there, I think we will almost complete our fifth loop from this trip. Webcams, Virtuals and Wherigo's were all targetted and finally getting all cache types in each state.
Day 1 was us arriving in ADL at sparrows, with a ladder and esky that we checked in and driving as far as Barmera. We cleaned up the 'On Your Bike' series where the ladder really fulfilled its purpose (I never want to see another online jigsaw again!) and even stopped to grab the LBH on the way out.... after 9:30pm, and after I attacked the dirt road with my body and left a lot of skin on it. Note to self: dont lunge at dirt roads! Luckily the hotel in town was open and we obtained fine lodgings. The floor creaked when I looked at it, or breathed, or changed my mind, but the bed was the finest.
Day 2 was driving to Hay, apparently on their biggest day of the year! No motel had rooms but luckily the new hotel that was supposed to open next week was forced into opening on the very day we arrived.... I like fresh sheets but how about a bed that has never been slept in! The crossed the Murray about 5 times and it was always impressive. We saw the country side change hugely from Rivers, Mallee and the Hay plain.
Day 3 was going from Hay, around Griffith and actually turning south towards Melbourne.... it felt like a long way! We cleaned up a bunch of the counties, in fact all of them, west of and including Naranderra. My map on Project-GC is going to look so green! We got as far as the outskirts of Bendigo, stopping at the first Motel we saw.... it was better than it looked!
Day 4 was getting to the airport, which we did with heaps of time to spare. Checkin closed a huge 18 minutes after our arrival. Damn, we could have grabbed another cache in that time. Ladder back in its box and checked in. I love the fact we took our own ladder!
Now safely back at home I am already suffering from caffeine withdrawal, but thats the price you pay for living on Coke for 4 days.

Another day at uni and another day finding a few caches on the way home. This included some caches that had given me some trouble in the past so it was good to get them ticked off the too find list. A plesent afternoon for caching.

I was doubly blessed this morning when Muggle Son found a park nearby and allowed Muggle Hubby long enough to find this, and for me to sign it, before replacing the cache, and continuing on to Hahndorf.
