Nope, another FINAL waypoint nearby.

Please email me with any new places you try and I'll unarchive this if you manage to find the magic spot in the CBD without a cache nearby!

G'Day

I'm sorry, but your recent move has brought your cache too close to the Physical Waypoint of "In the palms of the architect" http://coord.info/GC2K1QE and will need to be moved. Please read the following item on cache saturation http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=304#saturation

I've disabled this listing for the time being, could you please move it to a new location that fits within the saturation guidelines. Once that is done you may enable the cache.

Rgds,
Matt - Ministro.

Out and about on a maintenance run with trevkevred on a beautiful Sunday morning. Lots and lots of muggles about along the foreshore.
Quick find by trevkevred, my coords were out on this one by quite a lot.

Out with Me&B minus the geodogs, they were not happy! After checking out one of Me&B's cache's which had gone missing we moved on to find this one. Dropped 2 geocoins but the TB was not in the cache. TFTH

Dropped off geocoin

Cluster of beautiful palms in front of a construction site hard not to look like you're looking for something. Geohusband found cache and got spiked 3 or 4 times while looking, this gave Geowife something to smile about.

11-Sep-12
Found while out for a morning stroll while visiting Perth. TFTC

10-Sep-12
Caught the trained into Perth for a meeting and spent some time picking up more CBD caches. This is a better spot just be careful of the spikes on the end of the fronds. Took 'My Exotic Ranger' TB.

Thanks Goose.

Having been ill for some time but now feeling much better .... In Perth for a cultural weekend opera, multiculturalism and fine dining.....couldn't resist a little GC on the side. This "Welcome to Perth" location was closest to our hotel and seemed a great place to leave a trackable I've had in my possession for some time. My iPhone did not show this GC as disabled so I have inadvertently left Manina's Templar trackable in this high traffic area to help it on it's way unaware that it's been disabled. I hope someone will pick it up soon and help it on it's way. The location in view of the BELL TOWER which was the closest reference I could think of that related to castles and the like (NO castles in Perth unless you count high rise buildings???) Took nothing .... The Exotic Ranger travel bug was still in the cache safe and sound. Returned to hiding place as GOOSE and not moved to new location as yet. : ) An enjoyable walk on a lovely sunny day for this find!

09-Sep-12
NOTE: Have worked out GOOSE visited this cache after me but has logged and disabled the cache AFTER I left the Manina's Templar geocoin and entered the WRONG DATE! Should be 9/9/12 Cheers

08-Sep-12
I got excited when I saw this cache showing on my map; only to realise it was Welcome to Perth!!! Either way, there was no way it wasn't going to be converted into a yellow smiley at some stage. If you edit the listing you should be able to remove my name off the listing. I've got over a hundred other caches, so let me know if you want to adopt any more cause quite literally, my loss is also my gain on the smiley front. Razz Hopefully the cache can eventually be transferred back to a grand fig tree once the Waterfront Development is eventually completed. Thanks -Goose-.

I'm heading in tomorrow to possibly move the cache to a nicer location...

Moving to a nicer area.

My first find in Australia! Took the 2010 Geocoinfest travel coin, and left My Exotic Ranger travel bug. The Ranger wanted to visit Australia, but would then like to return to travel in the US, so I hope someone will help it. TFTC!

Sorry it took so long to log this one. My internet access was less than stellar while here. Enjoyed my time seeing the sights and finding a few caches while here.

Thanks to ~Goose~ for replacing cache. Sadly TB will now be missing too. I'd recommend not leaving TB at the moment since the hide was obviously compromised.

Stopped by to hide a new sistema in the missing container's place, and to place my TB.

Felt a mite exposed as I went in for it!

Pretty exposed! Nice camo tho!

As already said, probably not the most attractive spot in Perth. But it's a perfect cache to find on the way down to the belltower where the next cache is already waiting Smile TFTC

Our first cache on our trip through Australia. It was an easy found on a bright sunny day. Thank you for the cache and greetings from Switzerland.

11-Jul-12
A quiet day on this corner, and a quick find once the pointer settled down. It is nice to find a cache capable of holding trackables in the city.

Signed the log, took two trackables, and left one. Thanks Kbinuk2005 for the cache and I hope it lasts this year in this less than pleasant location.

Please note, the wooden shoe trackable was not in the cache.

It was when I found this one the sunny wether turned into rain. I wouldn't blame the cache. It's just a fact. Quickly logged and back into the leaves.

01-Jul-12
Made sense to do this one first as it is my first GC in Perth.. and even in Australia!! Smile

When I first arrived at the coordinates I though there were 2 guys (in red sweaters) looking for the GC as well.. so I stayed clear of them.. but then they decided to walk on.. Don't know if their GPS was directing them wrong.. or if it were muggles.. So when they disappeared it was pretty easy to take the GC..

I left a TB.. hope it'll have a nice journey!! Surprised)

TFTC!

Greeting from Belgium!!

An easy find, visible once you get closer, but you really have to wait for the right opportunity to grab it. Spotted two trains going by. Parked over by the Narrows and the heavens opened up on me on the way back. Luckily it's a warm night compared to the others of late. TFTC!

A freezing cold day today, but at least it wasn't raining so I managed to get out for a bike ride to the city. After failing to find the puzzle cache that I was aiming for, I came over to this one.

Google maps were spot on, and I made a quick find. I hope the bike was a good cover for what I was doing there. I managed to see 1 train go past while I was signing the log, a bit daunting...

Thanks for the cache KB!

19-Jun-12
Checked cache this afternoon. Still present, albeit surrounded by wet litter. I was on my bike and wasn't keen to trash out. Saw a few trains from my overhead vantage point; not exactly what I was originally trying to showcase in Perth but it'll have to do for now until the Waterfront Precinct is finished.

17-Jun-12
I'm not sure if there's any easy way of grabbing the cache with all the pedestrian/car/bus traffic, but we did our best to make it look like a perfectly natural place to stop for a rest and water. We take the bus here every day for work so it's nice to finally knock it off the list. Thanks!

10-Jun-12
It was very quiet on the streets in the city today so had no problem searching at gz. Unfortunately no smiley for us though.

10-Jun-12
A DNF for us today so we will have to return another day. Thanx for the hunt.

09-Jun-12
Found a a very windy and rainy day. Took some time to make the grab in between columns of cars passing by. sl tftc

02-Jun-12
Passed this one on my tour through Perth CDB. No muggles around and so it was a rather quick find.

Thanks for the cache.

Quick find on a lunch-time walk. I agree with your sentiments about where Perth is going KB. We don't need this development. We don't need daylight saving ... WTF is going on? Why can't the pollies just appreciate the town for what it is (as most Perth residents do), rather than trying to bring it "into the 21st century" and compete with other cities? Sad

A train went past beneath me as I was signing the log, so I guess I was there to welcome a train-load of people to our fair city. SL. TNLN. TFTH kbinuk2005

Attending a conference inside, and popped out to grab this one. Thanks for the cache.

18-May-12
Had an enjoyable walk from the previous cache and met two different foreign tourists wanting directions as I walked along the riverfront. The first was a cyclist wanting the quickest way to the ocean and had been told to follow the river by somebody else so I pointed out a quicker way on his map for him. The other just wanted Kings Park but didn't trust what I told him as I saw him ask a number of other walkers for directions as he went along. I don't know why he wanted them as he could see Kings Park from where he asked me. Just had to head there.

Found the cache without problems.

Thanks for the cache.

An easy find after we got a big fright from the train rushing past us! It creates alot of wind.
The cache was an easy find but there was lots of rubbish.

Good to go again.

08-May-12
Sadly, after decades of being able to access this awesome part of Perth, the fences have gone up for the Waterfront Development (and so soon after I finally got around to placing the cache!). Like lots of backward thinking Perthites, I thought Perth was the city for no daylight savings and minimal development, but apparently it's time I got with the times!

I tried to find another fig tree nearby but every tree within a 500m radius seems destined to be fenced (and hopefully not demolished!).

I'll try to sort out something soon because I still believe that Perth really does need a "Welcome to Perth" cache somewhere in the CBD.

Thanks to the 25 people who signed the log.

08-May-12
Thanks for the cache! Feels a little eerie visiting now though, a lot of the fence is up so it's easy to imagine you're trespassing.

Quick find this pm after training.dropped Tbs

02-May-12
Looking at the developments that are going on in the CBD (in regards to the new marina), and the posts for a new fence line, I'm worried that this cache may have to be moved in the foreseeable future as it may be in the construction zone. It looks to be on the wrong side of where they are going to be putting up a new fence. Just a heads up for anyone that wants to do this cache soon.
