Sadly, the tui is not a good watchdog, so this cache is being muggled regularly. We will disable until we find a new spot. Thank you to all the geocachers who have retrieved and rebidden the cache thus far.
We went on a drive in the Takanini area where my sister used to live. A lot of new housing areas here.
Thanks for placing this cache Cospah

This was way too easy to find, the cache was sitting right o top of the stump, luckily the paper was still in it, so after signing it I re-hid the thing in its obvious spot.

Find 06 of 07 for the day and #1814 in total.
No Tui when we visited but there was a bumblebee and we don't get them at home so it was very cool.
Echo 4 - Spice 2
("\(0o0)/") Thanks for the caching fun!

Quick and easy find a shame as said in previous log it has been emptied left a loom bracelet tftc ☺
#6076. We came to stop by Walter Strevens Drive to have a short walk to GZ. This part of the reserve was quiet today. Nice hideaway spot. No tui was spotted though.
However, upon arrival found the container out in the open by the water’s edge. It was no longer camouflaged and without lid. All the contents (including Thomas Travel Bug Dog Tag) had gone. Looked around to see if the lid was somewhere close by, and then saw it floating out on the water. Managed to fish it back without getting the feet wet. Phew!
Left a small piece of paper as a temporary log. Re-hid the cache back in the obvious place according to the hint. It was evident from how the cache had been strewn and from previous logs that the spot was now known by muggles, who did not like the cache being here. The cache owner might like to consider relocating it to a different spot.
Took nothing (nothing to take this time obviously), signed log. Thanks for the cache.

Had to wait for bunch of teenagers to leave. Found the empty container and rehid where we thought it cud go.
I had to drop a colleague off at the airport and had some time after that to go and do some caches south from there. Parked nearby and found my way to the cache OK. Pretty sure some unsavoury muggles have been at this cache again as there were more obscenities in the log pad. I removed the offending pages but although the cache was otherwise unharmed, it looks like this location is compromised. Trackable supposedly in the cache is missing too. TFTC, Biggles.
Found Cache no worries at all.
It has been discovered at some stage as the were some not very nice things written on the note pad. Pages with obscenities removed by us.
Good caches, very nice place.

Cache container has been replaced today. Please make sure the cache is well hidden when returned after logging.
Found this one spread all over the ground, no container, just a bag and the logbook left, packaged it all back up and hid it with a bit more protection. Needs a bit of maintenance.
Cache a bit of a mess so packaged it all up again and gave it some more protection.
May or may not have found actual cache. Container was gone, leaving just a bag a pencil and book strewn across the ground. Logged it anyway and tucked it away safely.
No problem getting to GZ but found the log not in the hide. Signed log, put the cache back together and replaced with care. +TB t4tc
Since I was in the area I thought I would pop down and find this cache. It was pretty quickly located and I was the 2nd on the new temporary cardboard log. I thought I saw a tui, but certainly saw a few birds in the area, and none of them appeared to be angry, which was nice. TFTC!!!
Found this today when out and about funny as it's so close to friends house. Need new log couldn't sign log as it was so wet. Great place!!
Found while out on a Sunday morning walk with Mrs McMike2012. Easy find. Log book very wet - sorry didn't have a spare with us otherwise would have swapped them out - no plastic bags either. TN:LN:SL. TFTC. #542 for us.
Looked for the cache at the location the hint described. Expanded my search and I guess due to the weather the cache rolled down the hill. I replaced it at its location. TFTC
Nice easy find... No Tuis, but plenty of people out for an early morning stroll... And an empty beer bottle, which I removed

I had seen this area from across the way over in Wattle Downs on our walks also noting that there were GCs, so today when Choco said: "Let's take Shya for a walk" I told him we'll go some place different. Got in the car and a 10 minute drive later we were walking the path toward GZ. Took us a few minutes. Nice private spot. TFTC.
Staying at my sisters for weekend so thought we better do so caches that are nearby enjoyed the walk .
At the end of a MEGA weekend. Heading south on my way home. A small diversion to pick up a couple of Challenge caches so called by for this one too. Thanks for the short walk to stretch my legs.

I'm visiting from Melbourne for the New Zealand Mega which means finding lots of caches and coming here especially to find this one - the whole experience has been fantastic. The weather has also been much nicer than back in Melbourne and that has meant long hours starting early and caching late into the night and not getting much sleep in between. I had spent many hours in the lead up to my arrival in New Zealand preparing an itinerary of caches, solved puzzles and places I wanted to visit and I'm pleased to say I completed just about everything I had planned. For the places I didn't get to visit, well that just means I'm gonna come back. I've seen stunning sights, walked lots of kilometres (and driven even more) met some great people and made new friends which has been awesome.
Thanks Cospah for bringing me here and for adding to my positive experience.

A short walk. Found cache with Rediguana on the 4th day of a road trip to NZ Mega. TFTC
Two kingfishers for me - and not the alcoholic kind. Nice little hideaway

New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 2. The walkways in this suburb are fantastic. I did not get to see a Tui but it started to rain again. Thanks.

Was in the area working. So on my way home thought I would try this one again. No muggles this time. Nice easy find.
Typical!!! There are 2 young muggles sitting close to GZ. Will have to come back another day
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
A nice quick find while walking through the reserve this afternoon, but no Tuis around today. Thanks for the cache!

Was nearby on an errand and had a few minutes to spare. Coordinates spot on and cache was very visible so covered it up better.
Great little hiding spot Found by my 9yr old. Didn't see any Tui's but we did hear them.
Out doing some problem solving with lostcourse today and popped by to make a nice easy find, TFTC.
Super quick find while out and about with MMM. Nice spot. Cheers for the cache placement!
Coordinates bounced around a bit so ended up in the mud. Found it easily when referred to the clue. Lovely area for a walk. TFTC.
In the neighbourhood so sought this one out. No tui here, but later we saw one trying to bully a couple of sparrows, who seemed to be enjoying outmanoeuvering it. TFTC.

This cache didn't have me stumped for long - didn't see any Tui's but it sounded like a few were nearby. TFTC

Out walking in the area and after recording a blue frown DNF a few weeks ago decided to pick this cache up today. Glad to see the cow we found last time is in the new container. TFTC.
Saw a tui on the way but a black bird at GZ. Got pretty excited when the log book was blank but after a read of prior logs saw it was a replacement. NINO TFTC
We had a nice warm stroll around the walkway, in an area that we hadn't explored before. My iphone seemed to take me to the wrong place so needed the hint to find it. Left exactly as I found it (new lid and all). TFTC

The Tui's cache has now been fixed. New lid and log.
Please make sure you rehide the cache exactly as you found it We do not want this cache in a beautiful area to be muggled.
Thanks to everyone who has found the cache so far!

Had a lovely wander along to GZ, cache soon found and surprisingly dry considering it has no lid!!! TFTC
Thanks for your recent logs. We have removed the cache this evening to replace the lid and log.
No luck for us today with this cache. All we found was a toy cow at GZ which looked very swag-like. If the cache isnt muggled we will be back another day.
3.30pm found it after 2 min search by six year old grandson. Top of box missing & no paper.
Found this cache today after recently moving to the area. The cache has been exposed to the weather. We found it in the water, the lid is lost and the contents of the container are missing. Retrieved what we could and have left it near the stump.
Took the tribe on our first Caching adventure after looking for a while in the wrong garden we then found it.
Was admiring a tui earlier today, but none here today. Seems some previous visiters to here were in a hurry. Camo lying nearby and logs not in the bag. This cache is about slow down down and look for the birds.
