In the area yesterday and this one has gone missing will come back witha new concept when time permits.
Found this cache when we were not even looking for it it's was right it the middle of the track. Lucky I'm a geocacher and new what it was.
I new this was along the way to the falls but was not paying attention to the GPS. I paused briefly along the way and looked down and though. That looks suspicious. My intuition proved correct. A cache. Again a bit chewed but log still dry.
Great little creek and lovely camp ground. Thanks for the cache.

Time to do a few caches in the Wee Jasper area while waiting for trail walkers to return to the Fitzpatrick trailhead. Loved the area and the pristine waters and landscape!

Plans were made to head out on Saturday to do a spot of caching but the weather wasn't the best so Saturday turned into Sunday for us as the weather was beautiful today. RW was in need of some Earth caches to log a challenge cache she had signed while we were away awhile ago. So a drive was in order to collect two of them for her and off to Wee Jasper we went. Lovely day out and about.
Another find while in the area exploring. Luckily we didn't have to take the blackberries on like we thought we were going to have to.
Thanks for the cache Emongs and thanks for the company RW.

With the horrid weather yesterday, caching didn't happen so plans were made to get out and about today as both myself and FFLL had itchy feet. We decided a drive out to Wee Jasper was in order and mother nature put on her best for us It was an amazing day out in the country, HEAPS of photos taken, lots of laughter and chatter. A brilliant day of caching with no DNF's to boot
As we continue along the trail this was the next one. This path is so nice today and fortunately for us, we had it all to ourselves Was concerned we were gonna have to battle the blackberries to get to this one however luckily for us, it wasn't required. Log signed and cache replaced.
Thanks heaps for the company today FFLL and thanks for the cache The Emongs [^]

A long weekend spent camping at Wee Jasper, the decent amount of caches about was a bonus.
I had hoped to walk all the way to Gorge Us Micalong cache - the change in geography here hints at an interesting walk ahead - but with restless kids late in the afternoon I wouldn't have time to do so. A bit worried where this could be, with brambles on one side of the track and a dropoff on the other, but ultimately it stood out.

Found 12:57 11/3/17 after having a refreshing swim just below the cascades. Thank you The Emongs for the cache.
A lovely place near the pretty stream. A favourite tick. But, so daring a hide !!! TFTC
A quick find on a trip from our campsite to Micalong.
Enjoyed a swim in the cascades. Grabbed TBs and GC
Thanks for a great location for a cache.

Thanks for a great location for a cache.
Found this yesterday on the way to a very pleasant swim. This is my first cache in more than a year. Dropped off some TBs that I should have done a long time ago.
Spent an enjoyable day at The Micalong and done the maintenance on the caches in the area. New container and log sheet Cheers 4 Now
Spent the weekend at wee jasper, crawling and abseiling underground in Punchbowl and the Dip caves. After finishing up early and packing up camp, I detoured to find some caches.
After the recent rains a small patch of road had become soft and cars losing grip had dug some deep holes in the mid which had caused some issues with drivers getting stuck. I was one of them!
Luckily some young guys leaving the campground offered to help. (Their second to help today). Unfortunately their 4WD too became stuck trying to help. Eventually we got theirs away, and just as we were looking for a safer spot to tow mine out by, the Wee jasper reserves worker came by with a winch. Very slowly my car came out of the bog. His 6th car he pulled out this weekend.
So after all that fun I parked my car on the safe side of the mud and walked the rest of the way down for the bunch of caches in the valley.
Found the cache easily enough, but there was no log within. Signed a bit of cardboard that I found in my pocket.
Thanks for the cache.

Found with Kittykatch and Grimraider Sunday 23rd after visiting Careys Caves. Beautiful spot and so much water in the creek. Loved the waterfall area. It was so warm along the creek after freezing at the caves. TFTC
Found on a day trip to Wee Jasper. We visited Careys Caves, had a wonderful meal at Cooradigbee Homestead and then made our way down to Micalong Creek for a visit and to grab the caches. We came out here about 10 years ago with our 4 kids and my husband surprised me at Christmas with a framed picture of the creek and rocks. A beautiful picture. So it was great to come back out today and see the scene again with so much water rushing over it. Cheeky hide and all in good condition. LB signed and cache returned to its hidey spot. Thanks a lot - beaut spot for a cache!
Took advantage of Public Holiday took sneak out and replace container and bag and also add a couple of more swaps. Cheers 4 Now.
Walked over this cache in the dark last night without knowing it was there. Today we enjoyed the views during the day and picked up this cache along the way. Signed and replaced. Bag is torn and container has a hole so needs replacing. Not wet yet though.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Last one for the day after a wonderful couple of hours in the water upstream. This one eluded us two years ago. Seems we were looking in entirely the wrong place unless it's been moved.
Found with Bruce's Run, mosaic1212 and Sammy

Out for a swim in the creek with Keswick Kid, Mosaic1212 & Sammy. Great day out and an easy find.
It was starting to get a bit warmer as the day progressed and there were a few people already swimming. However, this section of the track was quiet and we made a quick find. Thanks The Emongs
#873 As we got closer to the swimming hole with the green-martian, cache was found and replaced. TFBUS The Emongs.
A cache on the walking track? Could it survive? To a geocacher a very easy find, to a muggle just a stump with a rock wedged in it:-) Very clever.
Always love walking up this track. Have done it a number of times now, including a FTF. Cache was quickly found, when I nearly stepped on it. Thanks for bringing me here again TE!
I found this by chance about 80m down the track from the listed GZ under a Geo-rock pile. I returned it to the specified site and covered it up with rocks. TFTC
Our last find on this stretch of the creek. Very pretty. The geokids were keen to push on for the next cache along, but I decided one adult trying to herd three 7yo kids, might not end successfully, so we admired the scene, took some photos and returned to the car. TFTC The Emongs. Definitely worth coming here.
Despite the cold and (previously) wet weather we were determined to come out and camp for a few days during my week off.
I dragged the four kids and wife out after stocking up the camper trailer and thought we'd do some caching as well.
As we decided to camp at the very nice Micalong Creek it was great to find some nearby caches. After a drive for the day we stepped off for a quick walk and found this one amongst others before heading back to camp to get the fire started and cook dinner.

Loved doing this cache with all the rain of late. The cascades were in full flow, with water every where. Guessed where the cache would be hidden and soon had cache in hand. TFTCM

TFTC - this was my first ever cache found 2 years ago before I knew about this world. Thanks for the introduction!
on the way up to the top I checked this one out and found to be in good condition Cheers 4 Now
I had a lovely morning riding through the Snowy Mountains today, and across to Michalong Creek. I found this fellow along the way. tftc.

Magic - yes it certainly was. A super hot day and after the last few days of being on ropes and in the heat the concept of a nice wander down by the creek in the cool with a swimming hole sounded perfect. Made a few quick finds whilst I was here with some muggle friends who considered that my caching predelication was mildly eccentric but mostly harmless. This one the muggles spotted without any problems.
{#226} A lovely spot near the camping area at Wee Jasper. TFTC!

2013: 280 Days In A Row - Driving back from a long weekend at Wee Jasper, so we stopped off for a few caches. TFTC!
Last walk with Fletch the Geo-hound, Wapstor, Fraggle_Rock and TRex05, after a long weekend camped at picturesque WJ.
TRex05 raced ahead and had this in hand before we were able to say "it's 10 metres ahead".
Wee J, fantastic location. Terrific to have a few newer caches in the area too.

we thought it a bit mad to find the cache where we did ! we were with Mulga bill ! cache has been put back at your coords in the obvious spot, thanx for yet another cache
Wasn't really intending to find this one on this trip, but one of our group found it in the campground - a long way from where it was supposed to be, though all still intact. Signed the log then it was returned to its rightful place.
Dropped by today but way to many people nearby swimming. Just an excuse to come back.
Found by the eldest son, very easily...he even said it was partially in view. we made sure it was covered back over when replaced. TNLN, TFTC.
We stumbled upon this cache on a walk we took today. It just happened to catch our eyes whilst walking along the track! Lucky us! Our first ever find!
5011 + 572 = 5583. Found on a run through Wee Jasper / Tumut region today.
I remember this great Camping area from the last time I was here caching. Today it was another easy walk up to find this one. Didnt feel energetic enough to go for the next one further up - another time ! Thanks again The Emongs !!

Heading up to the cache requiring a bit of effort so grabbed this on the way. Beautiful with so much water about. TFTH
Wow, this area really got smashed by those floods in March, didn't it! Cache was an easy find in the obvious location. Thanks for the walk. Was feeling the horrible effects of a head cold and so decided to not continue up the hill for the next cache, will leave it for next year.
Cheers

We headed to the area on a weekend camping trip atbone of our favorite spots (very busy with the long weekend though)...A nice walk to GZ from our camp site today with Mnjontour, Aritagalong, and geozach. Miss Stormcatcher made the find while the rest of us overshot it slightly. This was the first one today, now to tackle the slightly more challenging cache up above us...Mnjontour and Geozach had to turn around here as the track gets a little tricky. TFTC.
GPS signal was all over the place and with so many places to hide a cache we did not come away with a find. The weather was not the best to keep on looking to find it, so will have to come back at a warmer time of year and take advantage of the local attraction.
2nd ftf attempt with boot65. After receiving the email for this one at a nearby cache we made our way to gz. As we did we drove past anumber of campers in the camping ground. Then it was time to get out of the car and walk the dirt track in the dark with a dying torch. Got to gz and made a quick find TFTC and another joint *FTF* with boot65
420. Yippee, my second *FTF* ever. See mr roo's log. I need to come back here in the day light to see how good this place actually is. It felt good. TFTC
