Tftc Sushi Kitten cache is signed and replaced this one took some thinking but eventually, I figured it out
#22695. When we parked near GZ the search area looked daunting (not ideal on a very cold afternoon). I read through quite a few logs which helped to narrow down the search area considerably, and the cache was located soon after. Whew (we wouldn't have lasted much longer in the cold). TFTC.
Today we are driving to Orange and back, StreetWalkerNZ and I to find some caches, and we are accompanied by son and daughter in law who plan to check out a few wineries. Daughter in law proved to be an asset geocaching as she had a good nose finding caches .
We had dropped the young folk at a winery and did some solo caching. This was found en route to picking them up. It was bitterly cold and my GPsr was pointing into the paddock so wasn't keen on a long search. Luckily SW spotted the cache - though this is definitely a micro not a small. Nicely hidden. TFTC.

Headed out today with the family for a drive around the area, and took in a small detour to visit this cache. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a plethora of places to hide a cache, and started methodically working out way through the various options. After around 5 minutes or so, the cache was soon discovered. Nicely done.

We all thought we knew best when looking for this one but ultimately ‘J’ made the find. Great little hide. SL TNLN Thanks for this one.
I normally appreciate these types of hides but not this one. Just took to long. But a little bit of thinking outside the box helped. The only house visible looks younger then the cache. Tftc
Well John you tried to trick us! But this was to easy for Archie_03 and myself! Found within 30 seconds of arriving! Favourite point from me
Really great cache here! It screwed me over! The hint helped. Thanks for bringing us here.

Tftc, found it quickly enough, took longer to locate the log which was on the ground. Put it all back properly.
Bigmizzo was the hands and I was the brains for once, clever hide and cool cache.

Another cache on our way back to camp. Stopped before the junction and moved up to the rocks, cautious about the nearby (?) muggle residence. Noted that it was quite a way back, and probably not in sight of what we were doing. Looked in a few places before the cleverly hidden cache was found and retrieved.
Had a little trouble retrieving and lost log in process. Replaced with new log. Tftc
Hill End and Mudgee weekend April 2018. I set out late on Thursday after a small car battery issue. I only stopped once before a night at Bummeroo ford. Friday took me to Orange via many spread out caches between Oberon and Bathurst. I spent the night at Macquarie woods. Saturday started foggy and then warmed up. I was heading to Hill end, and did make it, but I had to give up on the Bridle track due to a rockfall. Late in the evening I did find a spot along the Turon river and the very bumpy northern section of the Bridle trail. Sunday had me finishing the TRLT trail from Mudgee to Gulgong and a few missed ones in the middle of nowhere. The last day was a simple drive home from Sofala. A great weekend !
Today held plenty of quick roadside stops as well. Very funny .... not !
Thanks.

Tftc! A long search, and we managed to have it in hand twice before realising. To quote Homer: Doh!
Camped at Macquarie Woods, picking up a few caches this afternoon . Nice hide. TFTC
Bathurst to Orange
We have set up camp at the showground overnight. We completed the lake walk in the morning then onto the Gnoo Blast in the afternoon, finishing with a tiki tour of the country side before heading home.
When we see a large pile of rocks we immediately think this is not going to be good. Read some longs & after a short search we found thw very clever hide. Favourite point given
Thanks for placing this cache SushiKitten

Now this was a very interesting cache to find. After looking around a lot of hiding places it was time to sit back and assess where else it could be. Then the light dawned. So a different hide was investigated and the cache was retrieved. We have seen this type of hide before ad should have recognised it earlier. After signing the log the cache was put back in its place. Thank you for placing an interesting and fun cache for us and other cachers to find. We are giving it a favourite point because it is more challenging.
Once I stopped looking in the 'obvious' spots, I realised that there were other places it could be. A very clever piece of camo indeed.
This time we found it. Even more frustrating was that I had it in my hand last time we passed by and didn't know it. Thanks for the irritating frustrating cache which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The third time we have stopped by on our way somewhere else and finally found it. Even though we had an idea we did not carry it out at all well. Enjoyed our various searches, so thank you for the entertainment and the cache.
We rocked on up and surveyed the scene before us, hmmm, interesting, we did silly things to start with for a few minutes, then decided to find the cache in an easy spot. Nice work.
This was looking tough until I had a thought and, soon after, we found it. Very sneaky, thanks SushiKitten.
Arriving at GZ, we were confronted by a myriad of possible hiding places. After a few minutes of fruitless searching, YGAT made a suggestion and, subsequently, we had CIH in the second place we checked. I used one of YGAT’s bobby pins to extract the log.
Thanks SushiKitten.
Thanks SushiKitten.

We got to this one and started to look around. We had dismissed one big area and were considering our options when the CO pulled up. He confirmed that we didn't need to go look at the spot we had already dismissed and gave us a hint to look for something a bit smaller to what we had been thinking.
That left only a few options - we started at opposite ends & bikerbuddy made the find.
Thanks & nice to meet you

We pulled up to this one and noted the reason for the cache title. We considered the area and decided where we thought it wasn't, and therefore the most likely place it might be. We took a look but didn't find it on first pass. It was then that the CO turned the corner and asked whether we had found it. He gave a few cryptic clues which confirmed our suspicion about where it was hidden, but I also realised that we were looking for a different size than I supposed. We then had the cache in hand before SushiKitten had made it fifty metres up the road. Thanks
Cool cache, sushiK!
What can I say, but that we obviously must think alike...
I started my search with iPhone in hand as I picked through the hillside, wishing that I had a better GPSrx. Hmmm... This could take a while! But then I stopped, and thought, and instead of working harder, I worked smarter, and had the cache in hand in a flash. [:D)] Thanks for a great hunt... fav point!

Even after searching every little nook and cranny I didn't find it, getting hot so I tossed it in.
Found late morning whilst working in the area. Anyone walking along the road would have seen the look of dread on my face as I approached GZ - what a lot of places to look! As it turned out, the cache was found in a few minutes and only one car passed just as I was leaving. Many thanks SushiKitten

Day#17 Geocaching August streak.
Took a bit of a drive after lunch to grab a few caches out east of Orange, I wasn't really expecting any tricky caches and was sorto optimistic then after a short search was begining to think perhaps I should quit then nahh try again ,, then after reading clue and some previous logs reverted to plan-B, no luck search some more rocks then about to call-a-friend for help and decided some more plan-B and bingo second times a charm..
lol I loved the Melboune tram just up the road

After completing another SushiKitten cache up the road I thought this will be a snap. Boy was I wrong. First of all I will mention that I hate rock caches and there are enough rocks here for a lifetime of caching. I was up and down and turning over and turning back all to no avail. It was then that I thought I should really use the GPS'r to a closer fix and after following it I was bang on GZ and there it was. How frustrating. Loved this one SushiKitten so it gets a favourite point from me. Well Done and TFTC.
6703 + 834 = 7537. Found during a great weekend caching in the Bathurst region with Sol de Lune.
On another country road heading to Orange. Well - stopped at a spot that could have taken forever to search. So to the logs I turned and read something very interesting. Went and checked a particular area and came up with a lovely hidden cache !!! Very Nice !Signed and we were on our way to the next one.
Thanks again SuchiKitten !! A Favourite Point from Me !

As I parked the geomobile and looked out through the windshield I felt a shiver of a DNF !!
"Why even get out to look ?", I thought [:o]
But I've never shied away from a geo-challenge, so off I wandered into the rocks.
I had of course read the cache notes by now and taken note of the clue.
None of that helped
At least the neighbours were not at home
Although the llamas, er, probably more likely alpacas, were starting to take an interest in my antics [:o]
After half an hour I could stand it no longer and drove off to the next cache, happy with a DNF on this one [^]
In the back of me mind the clue was nagging me !!
By the time I found the cache down the road I had it figured out
So on the way back I stopped again to test me theory....
... a couple of minutes later and I had the cache log in me paws [:o]
I still can't believe it !!
TFTC !!

Very clever.
Didn't have tweezers so came back later in the day to write in the log.
No. 2 of 4 stops today.

Found my 100th geocache this 2013 Australia Day long weekend, but I'd never logged any of my finds. So I decided now is an opportune time to do so!
This was cache #80, found whilst on a successful geocaching day in the Orange region. This one took a bit of thinking by me (while dad continued to upturn many rocks). Finally I had some inspiration, made the find and signed the log book with the help of some tweezers. TFTC - a very tricky hide!

After lifting many rocks, we finally took notice of the hint and were soon on the money. TFTC SushiKitten.
We called past this one yesterday but when I read the cache page we decided that we didn't have the time to spend looking for it, so moved on to another close by one.
Today I returned in the daylight and found it after a short search, once I recalled a piece of information from a conversation with a previous finder.
Nice little hide.
TFTC.

A nice buzz finding this one quickly. A good hide. Back in the saddle after a bit of time off caching.

Mr R looked at the obvious, doh, Mrs R read the page and found the cache quick sticks, not after shutting her thumb in the car door, it is very black, ouch !
This one took a little longer than it should have. I should have remembered to read the description. TFTC
