Had a crack while passing by. Gave it a good 10 minutes of searching. But then realised last finder was back in 2019.
Think this may require some checking from the co.
Cool place for a cache hidden though.

Out today to get some repairs to the geomobile and catch some caches on our first day in Canberra with RoddyC and Team Benders.
With a previous finder but could not find.

Not sure this is actually gone as others suggested but nonetheless I was unable to locate. Lot's of options for a location but felt uncomfortable searching while people are 20m away dumping recyclables.
Had a bit of a look, but couldn't find it. Went on the other side as well, but some worker set up nearby so didn't look too hard.
Been going pass here few time and keep forgetting about it and finally get to do it today with my geowife search for 20 mins or less but my geowife had a feeling and she found it nice and tricky log and placed back where it belong TFTC Chalk It Up

No luck for me today and fortunately no ants either - maybe they are waiting for warmer weather? I did get to drop off a large cardboard box that was laying on the path nearby, so all was not wasted, and it gave me a good reason to be there too. Maybe next time.
Seems I just missed the rush today so managed to spend a few peaceful moments finding and logging. Great hide and a definite favourite from me.
Took the day off work to take the kids to the Wiggles. Afterwards decided to take them to daycare to get some Mummy time. Had a massage and now to find some caches
Almost gave up but thought I would have one more look....and I got it! Great hiding spot. And no ants today.

With time to spare on an afternoon, I took a little walk in the neighbourhood to find a few of the local caches I'd never looked for before.
Found this without too much trouble... As soon as I realised I could just walk in to the recycling centre! A simple but clever hide, thank you for the cache.

After a big day at the Clearwater event, this one was a nice relaxed change... thanks for placing the cache.
Ants! I pulled up inside, pretending that I had important recycling business to do. Ants! Then I followed the GPS to an indiscriminate spot and started searching. Ants! Unfortunately the spot was swarming with Ants! that quickly took the opportunity to scurry onto my arms. Ants! After brushing them all off, and suffering a few bites in the process, I poked a bit more carefully and soon found the container. Did I mention the Ants!

Australia Day long weekend? Must be time to see HappyUke! Her geospouse always heads to CanCon this weekend, so now that HappyUke has been introduced to the wonders of geocaching, she comes down too and we have a blast! The weekend is so damn hot so we had to be judicious about our cache choices. Today was Tankengine day, and I grabbed quite a few I had been eyeing off for a while.
This cache: one of the few not Tankengine caches. It had a few favourite points so we stopped by to take a look. Hmmm...ants! I managed to swoop in and grab the cache while HappyUke was stomping around being bitten. Then when she had killed most of the little blighters that had attacked her, she found the spot where the cache went back.
Thanks Chalk It Up for the cache and the fun!

It's Australia Day long weekend and Finalf29 is at Cancon, so... of course I'm out caching with AngelG27 in Canberra!!!! Win win for everyone
Second day of our Canberra raiding and it became a bit of a tankengine fest, but also the ants had a HappyUke feast. At just about ever GZ today, I was meet with masses of ants... they left AngelG27 alone and would swarm and attack me! It was decided by the end they could "smell my fear". We had a fantastic time, beside the ants... challenging, but soooo satisfying. Thanks AngelG27 for another great day.
All I can say is ants, ants and more ants. I put my head in close and was swarmed with ants. AngelG27 found and signed while I did a mad slapping dance... I was covered head to foot and was still slapping ants a good 10 minutes later in the car. Thanks... for the cache NOT the ants

Looking for a cache to grab down this way, and this one had 16 favourite points so seemed like a good one to grab! Was hoping it wouldn't take me too long to find however, but managed to get a very close park which was handy. Luckily I started in the right spot and made the find quickly, only because the last person had replaced the cache incorrectly though, so it stuck out like a sore thumb. I replaced the cache back how I assumed it to be hidden, which is actually quite a sneaky and good hide, works perfectly!
The log was 100% full however Not a single spot left, I took the last remaining blank area that was located near the top of the log as seen in my photo.
Thanks Chalk It Up

Caching in Canberra today. This was one of a few puzzles and traditionals collected on a cold winters day. The log sheet of full.!!Thanks to all the CO's for their hides
Out doing a bit of caching and on our way home & decided to try this one while dropping off our pizza boxes. We will log a ‘needs maintenance’ on this one as the log is really full now. Kutgw
Beware of ants . Some on arm . Log full. Tried to log in between other logs and pen wouldn't work . Happy to have found it as I came here a few years back . This time I had more persistence.
#1596. 4 days in a row.
I'd had a look for this previously, but hadn't found it. Today I hadn't gone caching so on my way home I decided to drop by, figuring that this should be possible by torchlight. It turns out that it was and didn't take me very long at all, so much so that I'm kicking myself a bit for having missed it before.
As mentioned in previous logs, the log sheet is getting pretty full.

Tftc. Found with snakepiters log is full. Didn’t have another spare with me to replace.
On my way to the chemist for a bandage to cover the large scrape I inflicted upon myself while out caching I took the opportunity to claim another.

Second time lucky. I'm actually so surprised we didn't see this the first time. Tyftc!
We had to go to the Tuggeranong Shops before our return journey starts back to Brisbane tomorrow, so it was a good opportunity to grab this cache at last, having driven by so many times.

Being a late Sunday arvo decided to head over as there was likely to be few people around. Only one person drove up whilst I was searching. TFTC.
Think this might be one of the best ways to have a Sunday. A rare sleep in and slow start to the day after a big weekend. The sun was out and took the chill of the day for a great days caching with StrangeTrousers in daylight hours. Passports in hand we drove to the other side of town crossing the lake to take in some beautiful views and pick up a tricky one or two on our travels. One of the best parts of the day was finishing it with dinner and drinks. Perfect end to a weekend.

A fantastic Sunday arvo's geocaching with CBRChic this time during daylight hours and way down south. We did not start until after lunch as yesterday was a big day, so it was an unhurried and enjoyable day's caching that ended with dinner & drinks at the Old Canberra Inn. Most civilised.
Not sure this had been replaced correctly as we found this one quickly. We tried to replace it more carefully.

TFTC. looked and looked with Mrs Jaybeem! reading some logs. Once she mentioned right side/wrong side, I soon had cache in hand. Great hide!
Found on a nice afternoon out for some caching and bowling with friends. We tried finding this cache many years ago with no success, despite minutes of searching. We've percrastinated for years and finally today, I returned and how about that - I found it in seconds! Nicely constructed hide! TFTC CIU!

Following a nearby 97th birthday lunch I grabbed a few caches before dark before heading home. Easily found once on the right side. TFTC.

Out on a night run with Aquilus1. We like a challenge and this one fit the bill. Really well done hide, simple yet effective. Tftc!!!
Well that is one fantastic hidden cache, well done! Was reading the logs, double guessing which side of the fence when dty73 made a final look and came up with the goods! Loved it! Thanks for the cache favourite point.
Searched, but too good for me. Perhaps I'll try again another day.
Did find a spider though!!

I dropped past today and it was still there. So keep looking or ask for a hint. Cheers
I went for a meetup walk down this way, stopped for a quick look on the way to where we went for coffee (with the other walkers) afterwards, but I got bushed in the ivy and didn't find it quickly ... so I came back after the coffee, had another look around in all the same places and a few more ... was just about to give up ... decided to "just have a closer look here" and there it was, right where my phone said it was meant to be - sneaky sod
TFTC ... got my daily find out of the way before heading back to my side of town (where I have cleared out most of the caches anywhere near my home and workplace/etc - lol) ... but then I decided that while I was down there, and it was a nice day, I would duck over to a nearby pond and find some more - found 3 before the thunderstorm arrived and I got soaked - lol)

Surprisingly enough it was my non geocacher mum who found this sneaky one, TFTC!

Nearly gave up after looking street-side. Then thought...

Despite passing by this spot dozens and dozens of times, I had never realised there was a geocache here. Mind you, I had never noticed there was a recycling depot here either!
I stopped in while on a bike ride, having finally noticed it on the Geocaching map. Having a quick read of the logs before I arrived at the location I wasn't feeling 100% confident. Fortunately my GPSr did its job and I found the cache within a couple of minutes. This was one where my slowly growing geoinstincts / geoknowledge paid off - I've learned that while searching, once something catches your eye two or three times, it is worth checking out!
TFTC - a very clever and well executed hide. I can easily see why it's taken some people a few attempts. Without that one thought that paid off for me, this could easily have been a DNF.

cheers, Great hide visited with kids previous night. no wonder we could find in the dark.
Sorry I found this one a little while ago and forgot to log it so now I'm having to play catch up with all my logs. TFTC Found with Scruffyblake, The S's and Me_To
After a bit of confusion with my phones GPS I managed to find this sneaky little cache. Done in the depths of night to ensure no muggles. Tftc!
