I came and checked this out and yes the cache has gone. I did have a replacement with me but it wasn't suitable as the hidey hole is now quite large.
Our first cache in Nelson, New Zealand while visiting our daughter and her partner
Took a while to get the correct answer for A, found it eventually. The container itself was a quick find at the physical location.
When doing research in The Netherlands about our future home town Nelson, I already read about this famous first rugby match taking place in Nelson. I did not remember the location though. Now I found it in person, of course through Geocaching, very nice! Questions quite easy, final location very clear, tftc & favo!
A nice straightforward Multi picked up on a fine and sunny morning before setting off to the so-called centre of New Zealand.
Dropped off Rugby trackable TB, signed the log and carefully replaced the cache as found.
TFTC.

My friend sent me on a wild goose chase, but we managed to find this with a non-functional GPS and some attempts at directions.
Thanks for being my first cache!
Thanks for being my first cache!
Came to check this cache while out on a maintenance run today. I couldn't find it either. Disabling till things dry out a bit more and see if I can find another in theme container.
I read the info carefully and it all made sense. The check sum was correct. The coords took me to a very likely spot. But I couldn't find a regular cache there I'll have another go after someone else finds it. It's Andre's (my youngest son) last year at Nelson College but he has never been into team sports.
A nice quick find thanks. I found it on the way down from the top.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee road trip to Nelson. Today we cruised over to Motueka, after a morning in town.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

There was a some game going on in the field where they had a paddle which they tried to hit a ball. It wasn't baseball, so I wasn't interested.
I found the sign and worked through the questions. My checksum was off by one, so I re-read the sign and double checked my answers. It turns out that today was the day that I could read, but not do addition. I had everything right the first time except the checksum. D'oh!
AT GZ, the cache was looking right at me, so I hid it in a spot where it could rest its eyes for awhile. TFTC.

Quick find with the right co-ords. Thanks for the tip about A: you do have to read all the sign board information get the right number. Great to see a good sized container in an urban cache, wished I'd brought some decent swaps. Thanks for the cache and the local history.
I made sure I read the info carefully so had no probs with getting the right numbers. Quickly searched the right place first thinking "surely it wouldn't have survived there" then moved on. The second lap had it found... TFTC.
A short wander up the road from the digs, took a while to get the right numbers (yup, that first one...) and then onto the final - nice work. Interesting historical spot, thanks for the enlightenment. Cheers
Nice one to get while doing the Ad Lab on Nelson history. Took a few loops around to extract final as autumn has been doing the usual. Interesting history. And great to be near the toilet!!!!
Great spot for a cache. I grew up here playing in this area almost everyday so also a bit of nostalgia.
It's a nice day so why not take a little time out to find this cache? No problems with the field puzzle and then a quick find with good coordinates. Thanks isis58, have a favourite point.
So now we know where NZ's first Rugby game was played! TFTC and the history lesson.
The park looked like a good bet on a very hot day. I nearly fell into the trap but didn't let on when the wife found the correct answer . I could not believe the final. FP.
P.S. The cache container seems to have sap running down the back. Careful you don't get it on your clothes.

It's nice to see this cache recovered! Counted and tried to find it in March but it was gone. I was happy and surprised when I took the cache out, lovely. And very rich content was pleasant too. We are so glad we could have found this multi as this important rugby spot became our favorite place in Nelson. It was nice to come back and also with founding this nice cache! Thanks! We give you a Favorite point!

Thanks isis58 for replacing this one, it's always great to turn a sad face into a smiling one.
Really ejoyed the find, super cool container for this cache!!
I looked for this one previously and couldn't find it, although it was really missing I noticed just now that I was looking at the wrong spot last time - so no chance of finding it anyway. I must have put the coords wrong that time, as today I didn't check the answers, but was directed to a slightly different spot and had to backtrack down to have an easier access.
Fun cache to find and I hope it will last. I tucked it in nicely and made sure not to be seen from above - not many people around in this weather.

Out for a few this arvo with missnboyz and what a great cache container here! FP awarded. Nice puzzle too.
Checked on the cache today after the previous log and found it still safe in place and ready to be found.
Liked the cache but couldn’t find it! Seems like the gps is off though as we searched heaps of nearby trees but where the gps took us there wasn’t any
Stopped to check on this one today. Had a good poke around but I couldn't find it either.
Second DNF for today, checked the numbers and seemed right.
I usually go up on the right side, today was the first time I took the other way, near GZ I noticed a Geotrail nearby and went there but didn't find a cache, looked at other possibilities but didn't find a cache either.
A lot of people passing, so gave up, could still be there.
Will keep an eye open if someone finds it soon and then come back.

Quickly got the information at the begining of the walk and found the cache on the way back as we passed it. Cache all good. No Tb but very full. Thanks for the cache.
As I was right in the near because of visiting NZ‘s middle point, I go ahead for this short multi. Even the rugby World Championship is just onboard, it’s more interesting for me to get these informations. The Cache was good to Found.

In area today and wanted a cache to up my finds for the day. Most clues were easily spotted but had a blind spot about one clue. Quick calculate of a spot that looked reasonably. Muggles around and about but luckily not bothered at GZ and quick sign. TFTC & multi
Third cache of the day for me, and the third multi. This was a quick find, and relatively muggle free. A few humans with dogs trotting around, but too soon in the day for any team sports. Was keen to head up the tracks for a couple of others but they were taped off - looks like park and grabs today for me. Thanks Isis58, some notable events and achievements here that are well worth a cache. FP from me.
I had planned a while out to make the trip over the hill today. Lately my Canterbury finds have been well outstripping the Tasman/Nelson ones, so thought this needed some redress. If I can get over once every 6 weeks or so this year that would be great.
So the weather played ball, and the plans were loose. 3 caches were on my wishlist, but none were essential today. Instead I kind of just looked at what was next closest on the map and went for that. In the end I only found one of those anyway.
There is never a bad day caching I guess, but today there were some challenges. Any thoughts of walks in the hills were quickly extinguished (excuse the pun) due to the fire ban; a couple of problem hides that I thought I had good ken on still proved elusive; and it was muggle central at a few others due to sports and whatnot. I probably DNFed or did not attempt more caches than I actually found today, so the day went quickly. Just 21 to log as found, but some good ones in there. Had good success with multis, and even solved the finals for some that will require visits later. Also caught up for a chat with team GKMLB who had helped with an SOS!
Thanks to all the COs. I will log the DNFs and hopefully they are more down to my incompetence than anything.

Had a look into this one a few days ago but left because of muggles. We went back today and did the whole puzzle and got our final coordinates. Had a bit of a look at GZ but couldn't find anything but a strange decoy. Went back and had a 2nd look at where I thought it would be and boom! There's the cache. Great camo. TFTC!
30 degrees at ten o'clock and only getting hotter. Headed out to have a look at the multi I couldn't find yesterday due to muggles, time etc. After again having no luck there, we came around to this one. Answers quickly found and we headed off to the final. Luckily most people were heading elsewhere and paid no attention to us. Found a dog's toy hidden at GZ. Nope not what we are looking for so continued looking and found the cache. Signed log and dropped a tb in. tftc
Stopped by on my way home to check this one. Found it tucked awayall safe and sound.
I mucked up my numbers twice in finding the location of this cache. Next time, I reached a favourable location. I was searching around the trees with one favourable location but after scrambling around, I couldn't find the cache.
Holidays in New Zealand ... on the way to the "Center of NEW ZEALAND" in Nelson we solved this multicache and signed the logbook. TFTC and greetings from Germany.
I had an opportunity to go to the South Island and take a week off work and do some caching while Mrs Yeetrees had to go to the ANZEG Conference 2018 which was being held in Nelson.
Day 4. Nelson. This was the second day of 4 that Mrs Yeetrees had to attend classes and lectures at the ANZEG Conference 2018, while she was doing this it was my aim to go around the CBD and nearby and see if I could pick up a few of the harder caches around the area. This included a few different types of caches rather than just hitting traditional drive by caches.
I had solved this multicache a while back and had the final co-ordinates of the cache in my system without realising it, Decided that since I was in the area I might as well go around and pick this cache up.
Arriving at the parking area, there were only a few cars here and there were a few muggles taking their K9 friends for walkies, they weren't paying any attention as to what I was doing.
Managed to make my way to GZ without any issues and once there it really didnt take long to find the cache in it hiding spot. Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back as found. Thanks isis58 for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (13595). Now where too next.

15 July 2018 14:44. Escaped from the Anzeg conference again, to walk back up the hill and pick up the ones that I didn't have time for yesterday. Quickly found and in good condition. Tftc. Now the real exercise begins!
Two Travel Bugs are listed as being in this cache. One of them is ours; it was dropped off over a year ago, but no one mentions any TBs in their Find logs, so we have no idea if they are still there, or not. It would be *very* much appreciated if the next person to Find this cache would at least post to the TB pages. Even better would be to retrieve them and move them somewhere else. Thank you!
Great fun and enjoyed the history lesson. it took longer to read all the information than finding the cache. TFTC
I'm from Norway, escaping the cold winter and travelling around New Zealand for 7 weeks, using geocaching as my tourguide. Today I picked up some important caches in Nelson, before I drove to Picton.
About this cache:
I love easy, short multi-caches, so when I noticed this one right next to where I parked my car on the way up to the virtual, I had to find it. The questions were all easy to answer, and the container was quickly found a short stroll away. Thank you for an interesting and fun multi.

On our road trip to Dunedin, stopped in Nelson for a day's caching. I'm quite a rugby fan and, having visited Rugby School a few years back, this cache was an obvious entree to The Centre of New Zealand. The information was easily obtained once I realised there were TWO sides to the board and an easy find ensued. TFTC.
Stopped by here yesterday & took some photos of the board; unfortunately not enough info - so returned today, collected the missing numbers & set off for GZ.
Lots of people around but all occupied & no muggles looking my way.
Thanks for the interesting history and the cache, isis58.

Actually came here for the new Virtual cache at the top but glad that I stopped to read the interesting stories - and the final was on my way. Thanks for the most interesting multi-cache.
As a big Rugby Fan from Germany this nice Multi has to be done before getting on the Hill ! Good to have the checksum, so a mistake could be corrected and everything went fine ! Thank you for this Cache on such a historic Field !
In Nelson we stopped one night, before we drive to the Abel Tasman National Park. Today we go for a walk in this nice area. TFTC
With a little chill in the air, SJT_NZ forfeited the Boulder Bank kayak for a walk around the wider gardens, this was our starting point. Found answers easily and nearly fell for not looking at both sides of the board. Checksum sorted and nice quick walk to final and on our original trail. TFTC all in good order.
First find on a walk around some of the tracks in this area with TregearP. Gathered info quickly enough only to find the checksum was out by 2. Hmmm. Looked again and what found we'd only looked at half what we needed to and our error was quickly resolved.
Cache itself has a small amount of water in the bottom, but log book safe and dry enough inside its bag. Emptied and dried the container, signed log and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache.

We have had the co-ords for a while so our next trip to Nelson resulted in a quick find. TFTC.
I had a number or two wrong in there because it didn't match the checksum... But the two options I came up with were close together and not far away in a likely spot so I thought I'd have a nose around while I'm here. Once in the general area I looked at some hint objects until I noticed some tell tale rocks. Jackpot!
Thanks for the interesting history and thanks for the cache!

The log book was missing, we created a new one with a blank page we had (not perfect but it makes the job).
Pretty and very interesting cache.

My last day in Nelson an this cache was just down the road. I quickly had the information required and cache in hand, it was very quiet in the park today just a few four legged friends running around. Well I never knew this was the site of the first game of rugby in NZ, I am not a rugby fan but the information board was very interesting.
That is really an iconic spot for the history of rugby. We learned a lot. What a pitty nobody was playing rugby at the moment. Just frisbee and volleyball was played. We could answer all questions and found the box without any problems.
SisterCorny travelling Asia and Oceania for four month, now in New Zealand.
Before leaving for Abel Tasman later the day, we used the perfect waether so make a little walk to the Center of NZ. What a great trip...
This was the first cache today and we learnt a lot about Rugby in NZ. Found the answers and the cache easily, TFTC

Nice and easy. Thats a multi how i like it. A nice old man asked me if I am a sport teacher because I took so many notes from the boards. And the funny thing is: I am!!!

Yay first multi:) took a bit of a bush bash lots of muggles but they didn't seem interested in me nice themed cache so I left they most appropriate swag I had (a little noise maker) TFTC
Found quickly this evening and we enjoyed learning about the history of the Nelson football club and visiting the park.
Had few minutes before event so decided to grab this.... someone else here also with pen and paper.
2 January 2017 15:59 Got joined by several other cachers at the signboard from Dunedin & Tauranga prior to an event in the park. TFTC isis58
Love rugby. so thought I would give this a shot. Even though it I'd night. Easy to get info and off I go. And it doesn't take long to make the find. I love the fact everything inside is rugby themed. So as not to spoil it I didn't anything on me along the lines so left and took nothing. Thanks for a great cache.
Knew Mr D would enjoy this cache... so we read the information before we went to the Centre of NZ, and found the cache on the way back. Okay, he found the cache too, in a spot Mrs D already searched. Loved the appropriate logbook!
I see the problem with Question A - there is partial information on the reserve side of the board, but you will only find complete information by reading the street side of the board.

Although I'm not interested in rugby, or any of the ball-sports for that matter, it was quite interesting to read through these two storyboards, looking for the answers for this cache.
No players on the field today so I could safely traverse it and score yet another +1 point on my scoreboard
Thanks for the cache!

We had some time to discover Nelson and we did this by doing some of the geocache in the area. A lot of multies showed us some interesting places.
So far seen on this trip: Thailand and New Zealand.
TFTC from a geocacher on his journey through the world.
Danke!

Thanks for placing a geocache here and sorry that I keep my logs short.

Over the hill in Nelson doing a spot of shopping... and then a bit of caching to end the day.
Here is a spot for me to change into appropriate caching clothing before heading out for the afternoon.
Grabbed the numbers required and dodged all the muggles playing on the field. Found GZ and stealthily I snuck behind a tree to log the cache.

We were with Nana and Grandad for the weekend and they brought us here - we helped Nana work out the clues then we found the cache - we had fun playing in the park, running up and down the steep hills then they made us walk all the way to the top of the hill. I could nearly see my place from up on the hill tftc
Had three wee grandchildren with us on a drizzly afternoon, so we thought we would have a bit of a look around the park. What better than to have an easy cache here for us to find. We walked up to the top of the hill after finding this one tftc
A fairly quick find once I knew where to go, thank you for directing me to this historic place
