TFTC,In this LGA for a day to Cache and add to my statistics, visited trackables.Didn't see the Bilby, great view of red sands.

Found it during our holiday trip. After spend couple of days in roxby down we are making way to birdsvilleAt GZ quick find.TFTC
On approaching the cache, we were faced with two graders heading toward us, grading the road. They seemed to be near the cache, so we drove on past them for a bit before doing a u-turn and heading back toward the cache. The graders meanwhile, had done the same thing, and were once again heading back toward us. This time, we pulled off the road and had a quick snack, allowing the graders to pass us by and continue north. We then had the area to ourselves, and made a quick find on the cache.A bilby is something that I've never seen in the wild, but Mrs J certainly has. Thanks Namida.
On a bucketlist trip.

Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches along the way. What a surprise Roxby Downs is. A fascinating project. I wish we had more time in town to explore it further. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from WA up the coast to NT and down through the Centre to SA and back home over the Nullabor. After spending a couple of nights in Coober Pedy, we headed twds Woomera picking hides along the route and arrived at RD last night. Quick find here and left fresh log sheet.
We are on a Bucket List Trek, from Busselton, in the South West corner of Australia, up to Cape York, Australia's most Northern land point.
We are travelling through several iconic tracks, through the Gawler Ranges, the Oodnadatta Track, the Birdsville Track, the Bloomfield Track and the PDR Track to Cape York.
As we meander across this awesome country, we stopped here to enjoy the scenery, check out the history and wonder what life was like here in the Outback all those years ago.
Thanks to the CO's for adding to our journey as we head to Cape York.
Thanks FTC

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to KNGT for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Our main mission today was further out, but we couldn't help picking up just a few caches along the route, along with ilook4geo. This one was a very quick and easy find, both names were soon noted on the log and all was returned to place. Thank you to Namida for placing this cache and to K&NT for maintaining it.
Found this cache quickly and easily with goingplaces2. Interesting to see the extent of the reserve area. Hope it is a successful venture. TFTC.

Out and about with Purrfect Di and Jack...
A long way to drive for a mint tin.... but I see it was a replacement last September
So glad they have a sign to protect the Bilbies. I hope they know where to cross
We were going to be coming down this road from William Creek, But sadly the recent heavy rains further north changed that plan. Another day
Thank you KNGT for another cheery yellow smiley on our state geomap
"A cache a day keeps the doctor away" - all part of my 2021 health care plan

2020 won. it's not over yet!
- - search at a social distance wherever you can - -
Keep away from the nasty bugs ( except travel bugs of course )
- keep a distance from people as much as you can, they spread the nasty bugs! [:o)]
- go out and find or place some new caches in our regional areas where it's safer away from bugs!!

Working at Olympic Dam. It was a dnf on my first attempt, but, by the time I got back to OD, the cache had been replaced and so I borrowed a vehicle and headed out here for an easy find..
Nice easy find, cache needs more paper, can the next seeker add some more please
All of a sudden there are muggles. No mate, we're fine. Not broken down. Cheers. TFTC
Wifey not impressed about taking her soccer mum car 10km along a dirt road! Hahaha
After hunting around the cache was placed in the spot where it should be. Confirmed by a previous finder so good to go again. Hunting around Roxby so this one was a nice find on the red dunes. Just love the colour.
Thanks to KNGT and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
Replaced after a good look. A great spot. Love the red sand here and animal trax.

Stopped by this one on the way south. No regular sized cache to be spotted here. Only a few little skulls.
We've seen plenty of wildlife but not one Bilby unfortunately. Nice quick find.

Today we are heading north east along the Borefield Rd, Oodnadatta Rd through Marree to the Birdsville Trk after traveling here via Roxby Downs, Woomera, Pimba & Glendambo. After a welcome lunch break in Roxby Downs we headed out on the Borefield Rd and came across this cache not too far out of Roxby which we found quite easily.
It was interesting to read about the reserve and what it achieves. Incidentally the *correct" url is https://aridrecovery.org.au/

After being in the outback for almost 250km it was nice to slowly start seeing some reality and security incase something went wrong. A quick stop here for this one.
Today was a massive day of driving with almost 600km of driving. We started off at parachilna and headed north to Marree. Unfortunately we got a flat tyre on the way out to a cache of Freddos but a local was nice enough to plug it for us. We later headed to lake eyre south along the Oodnadatta track before heading south to Roxby downs, unfortunately a rock was flung up by an oncoming car and shattered the rear window of the car. At the end of the day we decided to pull in at woomera for the night.

[@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled to the Northern Territory from Adelaide for a 2.5 weeks road trip holiday. We took my jeep through Port Augusta, Woomera, Roxby Downs, Andamooka, and then drove the Oodnadatta Track via Coward Springs, William Creek (including a Lake Eyre scenic flight), Oodnadatta, and Marla. It was then onwards to visit Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kata Tju?a (Olgas), Kings Canyon, and then drove the Red Centre Way aka. Mereenie Loop Road to see the Tjoritja (West MacDonell Ranges), calling in to see the various highlights. We then stayed a few nights in Alice Springs, and included a day trip to see the East MacDonell Ranges. It was then time to turn around to head to South Australia, and in doing so, we visited the Palm Valley, and made the 4WD detour through Owen Springs Reserve (an excellent shortcut that wasn’t too technically difficult), calling into the Henbury Craters, and the Lambert Centre of Australia. Our final stop was Coober Pedy, and we really enjoyed checking out the various dugouts and mines.
Today, we continued our outback trip travelling from Roxby Downs to Coward Springs. We started off the day with a breakfast event, and then after checking out the visitor’s centre, headed to Andamooka to see some interesting opal sights, glass bottle house, and old mining pub. From there, we briefly saw Olympic Dam, before heading north to join the Oodnadatta Track. We visited Lake Eyre South, some ruins and the old Ghan’s bridges, and a few mound springs.
A quick stop here, but not only was it a chance to admire the bilby protection infrastructure, but we also saw the pipeline and well (?) nearby too. The cache container and logbook were in good shape today. Thanks Namida for placing the cache, and K&NT for its ongoing maintenance.

@Davidwazza and I travelled to the Northern Territory from Adelaide for a 2.5 weeks road trip holiday in the infamous black jeep. We took a route through Port Augusta, Woomera, Roxby Downs, Andamooka, and then drove the Oodnadatta Track via Coward Springs, William Creek (including a Lake Eyre scenic flight), Oodnadatta, and Marla. We then stayed a few nights in Alice Springs, and included a day trip to see the East MacDonell Ranges, before heading home in a more direct route through Palm Valley, Owen Springs Reserve, Henbury Craters, and the Lambert Centre of Australia, and finally Coober Pedy.
Today, we continued our trip, completing some caches around Roxby Downs and visiting Andamooka before heading up past Olympic Dam, and the joining the Oodnadatta track. Making a few stops along the way we set up camp in Coward Springs, of course enjoying the natural springs!

Found while we toured a circuit of the Flinders Ranges, Marree, Roxby Downs, Woomera and Port Augusta for the week, mostly touring the backroads and visiting many scenic and interesting locations. Thanks for the cache K&NT!

Heading up the Borefield Rd towards William creek and stopped in here to check out the Bilby’s.
There were none crossing today and I read the info boards and it’s great to see the work being done to protect our endangered species.
Thanks Namibia and K&NT TFTC.

A quick find after stopping to read the information boards! Great to see a project like this.
Our journey towards Quorn for the SA June Long Weekend continues.
Staying in Woomera to explore the region, today we visited Roxby Downs and Andamooka. An eventful day for us with Mr F losing a fight with a dead tree and also losing our GPSr (subsequently found by some nice caravanning folk)

Great place. Coming back tomorrow for the tour. Thanks for making cache findable in this beautiful but challenging land.
Surprised to find the cache on the other side of the road to the reserve , but I suppose that's the closest hiding place to the sign [:o)].
TNLNSL.
Went up and checked out the sign boards [^], surprised that Arid Recovery was referring to native fauna rather than broken down vehicles and tourists .
Liked the steel and tin eagle on the pole .
Thanks Namida (and K&NT).

First find! Not quite sure what we were looking for but was satisfying when we did. SAPOL discovered it by accident during roadworks.
We found our first geocache! Lots of little rodent skulls all around it and bloody hot at 30 degrees
01.11.17 tftc met and help a driver with a flat tire after colliding with a roo, then met a bloke named Hugh who was near gz collecting samples for the nearby reserve nice bloke who is now interested in geocaching
Quick find with Bear&Bell on our trip up north. June long weekend TFTC
By the way there are a few dead wild cats been placed near this cache. Was not a very nice smell.

Well we have ventured out to the Alice experience event and now it is over and it is time to head home.
However there is a few caches to find along the way.
This is one we found along the way as we headed back along the Binns and Oodnadatta tracks.
Decided to bail down the Borefield because the rains were coming and we had already pushed our luck with steady rain over the last 2 nights.
Like others loved the Police log.

Northward bound toward the Alice Springs Red Centre Experience, this was one of the cache stops we had with our traveling partners DazzPete. In fact they became more the stop, revive, survive pit stops which were quite welcome given some of the distances traveled each day. We were now on unsealed roads which were not as thoroughly maintained as roads travelled earlier in the day. Cache was found in good condition. Our thanks to Namida for placing the cache and to K&NT for keeping it alive. Cheers [^]
Heading to the Red Centre Experience Mega Event the back way and caching our way there. Travelling in the company of Skullracing as we will be heading back via the Simpson Desert with them
