Checked on cache and sure enough it was missing due to what appears to have been a big flood. No hiding place suitable for a replacement container so archiving.
A reliable source suggests that the Babbling Brook recently became a Raging River and the cache has gone. We will check it out soon.
You probably know that the bridge is broken and is off limits. Cache is all good though. Cheers.
Exploring around Richmond, and the roads to Motueka today. There are a few caches around here!!
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Driving around and see where we could park for a long-term stay in our campervan.
It needed to be close to Motueka and still nice place.. So off during our search we found this cache

Another great old bridge, enjoyed running along it! Nice quick find and time for a photo, TFTC!
Nice spot, I see this bridge a bit stronger than it's neighbor's... 10 person limit instead of 2

I was expecting a bit of a water crossing here, but the high road bridge made this an easy park and grab.
Thanks

Another lovely spot and despite looking in many other places the cache was indeed in the obvious one. And oh yes, the brook was babbling. Thanks for the find.
No problems here - another good find with Just-Lookin.
Enjoying the drive around the area.

This was one of the most epic weeks ever, and definitely my most epic caching week ever.
Me and mum headed up on a holiday north to Nelson and very wider surrounds. In total during the trip, we found almost 500 caches! (470 odd I think, but final results are yet to be in! ) We covered about 3000 odd km I think too. Crazy! And had our absolute best caching day ever too at 160 found. Spend 9 days travelling, caching, and having the best time ever!!
So sorry about not so epic logs, as otherwise this would probably take me the rest of my life to log, especially with two big events to organise coming up! Eeek!!
Almost every single log we signed as 'Team Polak' to avoid needing to write out both usernames taking up space on logsheet - as well as precious caching time!! Haha.

For the sake of sanity we set off with sonia26642 for a crazy geocaching trip, aiming to cache until we drop. The main destination was Nelson and the ‘surrounding’ area, but then we ended up covering a few miles in three northernmost regions, plus a few in Canterbury. We were signing/stamping the log as 'Team Polak' or ‘TP’ for the two of us on this trip to save logbook space. We found a lot of different caches, city ones, road side, park side, up a hill and on an island, and we enjoyed every single one of them. It was good to be a professional thingfinder for a few days!
We had great fun and are grateful to all CO’s who placed caches for us to find, and help restore our sanity before returning to our other non-geocaching lives!!
Come and join us the next New Zealand geocaching MEGA event!! Register your interest now at www.nzmega2015.com to receive newsletter updates and be the first to know. It will be a great event, come and be a part of it!!

The second of three swing bridges visited today en route to Motueka. StreetWalker had already found the cache by the time I reached GZ, so all I needed to do was sign the logbook. TFTC.
#8034. We parked beside the Moutere Highway (which is a rather grandiose name for a standard country road) and walked to GZ. Good to have caches at these interesting bridges. TFTC.
Staying in the old homeland for the Easter break with mrs tws, had a great time and weather not to bad, real nice on Easter Monday
Nice hide, many thanks

Holidaying in the South Island, grabbing a few caches on the way. Found while staying in this area. Thanks for the cache.
This is a lovely spot. It's a shame this bridge in becoming overgrown due to the new road bridge but nice to find the cache and walk across. Thanks for the cache.
Another quick find during our bicycle tour around Motueka. Actually, very interesting how many pedestrian bridges had been built here. Thanks
Another Cute little bridge. Cache found while in region staying with friends. TFTC
Found on a lovely day while introducing this sport/game/hobby/obsession to my daughter.
And yes, there was quite a lot of babbling today after all the rain from the previous day, TFTC, #5369
Sounded like a raging torrent in the dark so was a little surprised when the torchlight showed just a babbling brook as described . Quick find Thanks

Despite all the rain last night, the ford was dry but muddy. I was surprised by the number of cars passing by.

[maroon]Day 4 of our 5 day Easter caching roadtrip. Today we were heading from Nelson towards the Mini Trail near Motueka, going up one way and coming back the other.[/maroon]
Surprisingly a busy little ford. Acorns galore, I kept think that a squirrel would go nuts here(LOL) Thanks for the cache

Last one on my hunting weekend. Grabbed it on the way back from my 60 km bicycle circuit.
Hard to describe this as a ford today, no chance of getting wet tyres. Quick grab in what was a lovely peaceful spot for the brief moment I spent here. TFTC
We have had our granddaughters along for the ride this morning, and on our return to Motueka we decided to stop for one last cache. Glad we did, as the girls really enjoyed their first experience of a swing bridge, and crossing a ford in a car. One of the girls even managed to find and retrieve the cache for us. Giving it a favourite for the family fun we had.

Wow, an awesome swing bridge which Miss Geckoh took the opportunity to run along as we drove to the other end to collect her. TFTC

Found while on an early morning cruise along the Mini Trail. Took a short detour from Central Road to find this one. Glad the log grass was dry today. TFTC
A KE drive by? Golly. Ah. Not quite You picked a nice spot for this one. A quick find on a beautiful day.
Thank you for placing this cache.
Thank you for placing this cache.
Sick of staring at textbooks I decided to shoot out and grab a cache. The one I was originally going for was smack bang in the middle of about 400 whitebaiters so decided to leave it for another day. Driven past this road many many times but never been up it. Nice quiet spot and an easy grab. TFTC.
Parked by the highway didn't know about the concrete ford it was nice and dry but use the old bouncy one instead.I enjoy these unlike Mrs L.No problem with the find last for the day just enough to keep numbers ticking over for our75 for the month.Tftc
Out on a night caching run to Motueka with Hazedarus so we came the inland route. It's many years since I've been down these roads but from what I could see in the dark not a lot has changed. Cache was found exactly where we would have expected to find it even if the GPS hadn't agreed. TFTC.
On a night caching run with Holymu. The brook was babbling just fine even after all the rain. Had visions of having a double barrel shotgun presented on us when a car drove really slow towards us but passed without incident. GPS was spot on although looking in from the wrong side might have caused some confusion. TFTC
Finished early for the day at nmit. Stopped off the main drag and ran over another cool swing bridge. I enjoy caching away from the hussle and bussle of town. Thanks for the cache
Good spot, last time we went to nick down this road, there was some natural hinderances, and we had too turn around ! No woories today. thanks.
Very nice, and the brook was certainly babbling despite the low water volumes.
Thanks for the placement.
Thanks for the placement.
A decent ford. All the others are sooooo dodgy. Ventured out onto the bridge for a bit of fun. Nice
A quick find.

Found with SoBad - took MegaWales GeoCoin. Will take it back to Dunedin in time for the Mega Event there!
4 out of 4 on a round trip taking a visiting cacher into the Abel Tasman Park. A cache to find made the decision to return via the Moutere easy. Always a great area to visit. No problems with the ford today - nor with the cache. We did confuse the visitor who thought we were looking for a book and wondered about the babbling. SoBad drove further up the road to turn the car while Mrs looked in the correct 'obvious spot' first. Took a trackable. Thanks.
Nice One!!!!!!!!!!Spent a beautiful autumn afternoon doing the Thinking Series and picked up a few strays in the process. Must have my eyes checked, because when we first arrived, I thought,"Now why in the world would he put a cache there?' Then, looked around and the penny fell. Great little iconic spot. Much fun! Now, off to Upper Moutere for one of those great ice creams.
Well I should have read the listing and the logs first as I went and looked where the cache was pointing first, thinking to myself "now why isn't it???' When after all it was!!! Another side road ventured onto for the first time. That's quite a flash ford there too! TFTC, Biggles.
out on a random days caching. Its a while since I've been caching this way so hadn't realised it was such a recent placement. TFTC #3263
Sitting nicely at home - just finishing dinner and all relaxed for the evening when THAT sound blared out of Stretch0's computer - new cache !! - he looks at me hopefully so I drag myself back out for one more for the day - it was an FDF after all !!! Flash new crossing there now after the floods - found with a very short search - now back home for coffee !!!! thanks for the cache
Had a great day out caching and walking in an area we haven't been into many times YET!!!! Got home and cleaned ourselves up and had our dinner and I was just starting logging when this cache popped up. far to close to home for us to turn this one down for a FDF. Arrived at GZ to find one of the headlamps batteries die on us. Nevermind still the other one and a torch and off we went. Headed to GZ and thought this didnt look right and remembering what CO wrote I headed to the obvious place and came up trumps. To top it off it turned out to be a FTF as well. TFTC
Oh no. Probably would have been sensible to leave this one for a day that needed a gap filled but this one was tooooo close to home to resist. Much closer than the last KE cache I found. TFTC
