Due to constant destruction and muggling of my caches. I have decided not to maintain this cache and am archiving it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
TFTC! Teamed up with JLotsos today to pickup some caches in the Armadale Settlers Common. With only a few hours this afternoon before sundown we tackled a small loop of six caches leaving the other loop of three for another day. Was a great series with some lovely views towards the CBD and panoramas of the suburbs. Thanks
Final cache for the day. One the way back to the car we came across a concrete shelter which had obviously been used for something in days gone by. Was an interesting little detour off the trail. Thanks for the series so far

After doing some periodic caches with geo daughter I saw a message from Barnzy12 to do some caches in the Armadale settlers common. Couldn't resist and glad I joined him
Last cache for the day and had a chat to some amateur photographers about caching and they might give it a go, the word spread and then a quick find to end the day TFTC and series

While this series might be good exercise for the geodog it is too much for me. I will try to do the others over time. We found this one easily enough while trying to navigate a gentler return trip from Picnic at Hanging Rock to the car park. TFTC
Headed out with the kids today with intentions of finding a few caches in the area! Sadly this was to be my only find in the series, as I decided that perhaps I would be best to do these ones without the kids... A quick find was made here [^]
TFTC Allied Pranksters I shall be back... Perhaps in cooler weather! This cache was in good condition

I was out and about on an early morning caching run and this one was on the list.
A nice quick find here once again . A clean sweep of 6 out of 6 for me here today and another fave point awarded for the series
I'm looking forward to meeting other geocachers at WA GOES BIG IN 2015, in Busselton.
Registrations are now open - log your 'Will Attend' at GC5GR5X

This is the first in a string of six caches for the day after parking at 'Homestead Block' and walking overland to the cache. A quick find and SL. Thanks to Allied Pranksters for the cache.
We huffed and puffed up the hill to this cache following the GPS as we enjoyed the beautiful day and this trail that sure got the blood pumping.
Our second find for the day in the area, we paused here and waited for a walker to pass as he yelled for his dog to return, repeatedly..
Once he had gone from line of sight we stopped "pretending to rest" and nipped off the trail for a quick find in the likely spot.
Crammed packed with trinkets we signed the log, took a deep breath and onto the next one.
Loving the area it is so green at the moment.

Our first find today - lovely here on a sunny winter's day. A nice ramble up the hill and a quick find looking from the right angle. Forgot to bring any swaps, to the geokids' dismay. TFTC
After visiting the Old Man in Armadale I decided to come and have a go at some of the caches in this area. Parked the Geotriton on Triton Cres and headed for the hills. After about an hour and half of trekking I had 5 caches in the bag, some of the hill climbs were a bit of a challenge.
This was the first and had a quick find, no shade about while signing the log though.

finished work and off I went to pick up some caches in the Armadale area....plenty of tough terrain to walk through...quick find here...TFTC
Nice find, let the hubby use the gps for the first time to find this one, so probably covered more ground than was needed . Nice spot to stop for a snack.
So many hills. So glad its not summer while doing this series.
Its lovely country to walk in.

A big day out had been planned for a while with The Machman.
The plan was Boulderdash, and then a few around the area to fill in the day.
Well, a few more turned the day into 37. And not a DNF amongst them.
Having finished Boulderdash, we headed up to Polaris.
We looked at the lay of the plan and came up with what we thought was the best approach..
Tell me, is there an easy way to do this ? Cause we didnt find it.
Up, Down, Up Down, (do I see a pattern here ?)
In all seriousness, enjoyed the walk. Was pretty puffed by the end.
How many decoys here ??? Lucky we found it fairly quickly. Good co-ords.

Out and about on a big day out Caching with Kyzabra.
Didn't really set out with a plan, just to walk the Boulderdash series and then see where the day took us.
POLARIS was next on the hit list.
Had never looked at this series before parking up at the base of the hill, so we didn't exactly plan a route.
as suggested in the listing.
We probably paid the penalty for this on the first three of the series... we felt a little like Yo-Yo's..going
up n down this blessed hill.
However the last three we put a little order and did them in a little more energy efficient order!!!
Really enjoyed the walk around, despite the inclines, some fantastic views across the city.
Cheers for bringing us here, a top spot.

Don't get the Cave bit, but managed to find the cache without much difficulty. Stopped to enjoy the view and eat my fruit. Thanks Allied Pranksters.
After a bumper day of caching yesterday, came out again today with geobuddy Mark and met up with Everlasting to tackle the nearby Caves of Polaris. Second one found. Now, where is the next one? Thanks Allied Pranksters
Puff Puff Puff

[:(!] Went for an afternoon of caching for a couple of hours and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GC2ZM8W (Slowly Does It) and walked in from there to do the round of caches in this area, on arrival at GZ and within a matter of several minutes it was in hand.

Since the forecast was for high temperatures, Mickeydv and I walked up from our nearby accommodation and accessed the cache via Carradine Road. There is a sign at the beginning of the path that says the path is closed but it seeemd perfectly safe to me so I made my own decision to continue to GZ. Thanks for the cache Allied Pranksters.
TFTF. Forgot to bring a pen so couldn't sign the log. Cache was open and some water in box.
Quick find nice day for a walk.

Another quick find in the pouring down rain. I love all the different wildflowers that are coming out in bloom. Thanks for another beautiful area TFTH AP,S
Had a great walk in the bush today up and down hills a great time was had by all. Thanks for the cache.
Mr iluvtrekking and richlink geo-hubby enjoyed the walk around the reserve picking up finds at all the Polaris cave caches.
Out caching with Me&B and my 2 geodogs up this hill for the 3rd time and hopefully my last, although I say that now I don't think it will be. a lovely area so peaceful and no muggles in sight. TFTC Allied Pranksters.
Out and about with trevkevred and her geohound. This is such a lovely area and you always have it to yourself...well..you have to share it with the roos of course.

I previously completed The Caves of Polaris when it was a multi and with a nice looking morning with a little breeze I headed out to one of my favourite bush walking areas. As I approached GZ I though this looks familiar, this is going to be easy with them in the same location as last time.
Thanks Allied Pranksters.
Thanks Allied Pranksters.
I decided when the series was published on Friday that I would do it this weekend as I was feeling like a walk in the hills. Having read the CO's advice to plan my route, I set out with only a vague plan, but the route I took seemed to work well.
I clambered down through the dry creek bed to grab this one while my geo-wife waited on the track. SL. TNLN. TFTH Allied Pranksters

*FTF* 1720 hrs
I couldn't resist going for these after they were published.
This was the first one I arrived at after walking along the track. I had decided to leave 'c' till last as I knew how steep it was getting up and down that bit of the hill and didn't want to ruin my chances of doing them all by coming unstuck coming back down the hill.
Thanks Allied Pranksters.
