Due to constant destruction and muggling of my caches. I have decided not to maintain this cache and am archiving it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
TFTC! Teamed up with JLotsos today to pickup some caches in the Armadale Settlers Common. With only a few hours this afternoon before sundown we tackled a small loop of six caches leaving the other loop of three for another day. Was a great series with some lovely views towards the CBD and panoramas of the suburbs. Thanks
Second last one for the day on our loop back to the car. Easy find in a logical spot.

After doing some periodic caches with geo daughter I saw a message from Barnzy12 to do some caches in the Armadale settlers common. Couldn't resist and glad I joined him
TFTC spotted where I thought it was, got excited and ended up on my butt hehe no harm done and cache in hand

I was out and about on an early morning caching run and this one was on the list.
My iPhone led me on a merry circuit chasing this one . I managed to grab it in the end after a couple of fence crossings that I am sure we're not intended
I'm looking forward to meeting other geocachers at WA GOES BIG IN 2015, in Busselton.
Registrations are now open - log your 'Will Attend' at GC5GR5X
Allied Pranksters - jinta29 found your cache AP 255 Polaris Cave D on 20/01/2015 6:12 am. This is my find #2727 and find #5 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

This is the second in a string of six caches for the day after parking at 'Homestead Block' and walking overland from the first cache. A quick find and SL. Thanks to Allied Pranksters for the cache.
We huffed and puffed up the hill to this cache following the GPS as we enjoyed the beautiful day and this trail that sure got the blood pumping.
This one was a strange one, in that as I went to cross the flowing creek something caught my eye, it was a small coloured camera in the grass. I picked it up and pocketed it in the hopes someone may have logged this cache with a lost camera.
This is not the case and after checking the SD card it looks to be from the nearby school, a teacher and kids on a excursion, it has been laying on the ground since 27 of Jan 2009 My kids go to Pioneer Village School so we are in the area every day, we shall return it this week.
As I approached the GZ the cache was out in the open, I would say (from the hint) that the red rock has become dislodged due to water and they have both tumbled down the hill a bit. Both replaced and ready for the next finder.
Into the next!

Our second find today - in a beautiful valley. Took a while as the GPS was settling close to a hollow tree 2 or 3 metres away. Found an interesting lizard under the rock. TFTC
After visiting the Old Man in Armadale I decided to come and have a go at some of the caches in this area. Parked the Geotriton on Triton Cres and headed for the hills. After about an hour and half of trekking I had 5 caches in the bag, some of the hill climbs were a bit of a challenge.
About 5 or 6 kangaroos were milling around the area of GZ when I was about 30 meters away, they soon scarpered when I began my approach. Spotted the cache from 5 meters as it was totally exposed so before I left I added a bit of camo.

finished work and off I went to pick up some caches in the Armadale area....it has been a challenging walk with the terrain...Pretty quick find here...TFTC
River flowing well, so left my littlest sitting on a rock paying with a treasure found in a previous cache, while the rest of us crossed the river to find the cache. Nice find
Slowly heading back to the car and collecting the cache stragglers.I'm sure I can feel the small feet of ticks on me........
A big day out had been planned for a while with The Machman.
The plan was Boulderdash, and then a few around the area to fill in the day.
Well, a few more turned the day into 37. And not a DNF amongst them.
Having finished Boulderdash, we headed up to Polaris.
We looked at the lay of the plan and came up with what we thought was the best approach..
Tell me, is there an easy way to do this ? Cause we didnt find it.
Up, Down, Up Down, (do I see a pattern here ?)
In all seriousness, enjoyed the walk. Was pretty puffed by the end.

Out and about on a big day out Caching with Kyzabra.
Didn't really set out with a plan, just to walk the Boulderdash series and then see where the day took us.
POLARIS was next on the hit list.
Had never looked at this series before parking up at the base of the hill, so we didn't exactly plan a route.
as suggested in the listing.
We probably paid the penalty for this on the first three of the series... we felt a little like Yo-Yo's..going
up n down this blessed hill.
However the last three we put a little order and did them in a little more energy efficient order!!!
Really enjoyed the walk around, despite the inclines, some fantastic views across the city.
Cheers for bringing us here, a top spot.

Don't get the Cave bit, but managed to find the cache without much difficulty. Thanks Allied Pranksters.
I haven't planned my track very well, so I was pretty much bushbashing instead of following the tracks! Didn't matter as the geo-dog and myself had lots of fun and a free work out! Took nothing, left cloggs keyring. TFTC!
After a bumper day of caching yesterday, came out again today with geobuddy Mark and met up with Everlasting to tackle the Caves of Polaris. Still enjoying the walk, but taking it slowly. Thanks Allied Pranksters
Puff Puff Puff
Accompanied with Mistraluna and Mike, Enjoyed walk along to the caches - Nice bushland and Nice view. Signed the log. Thanks AP.

[:(!] Went for an afternoon of caching for a couple of hours and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GC2ZM8W (Slowly Does It) and walked in from there to do the round of caches in this area, on arrival at GZ and within a matter of minutes it was in hand.

Not sure we planned the journey very well; in hindsight there seems to be tracks marked on the map. It was more a case of follow the arrow and try to avoid bushes and hills where possible for us. Pleased to log another find in the series. Thanks for the cache Allied Pranksters.
Pretty spot. Good that there is still some native bushland being preserved around here.

after a while GZ was established and although GPS was still out we mangaed to find it after a while. TFTC APs
We had a great walk up and down hills but a great time was had by all. Thanks for the cache.
Mr iluvtrekking and richlink geo-hubby took advantage of the lovely early winter weather to make an assault on the Polaris Cave series. Very quiet in the reserve as they didn't pass any muggles as they went from cache to cache.
This is a fantastic location and, although the going is a bit tough in some sections Mr richlink & Mr iluvtrekking enjoyed the bush walk. TFTH.
Out caching with Me&B and Kev&Red, geodogs were having a ball today. Me&B spotted a small rock on top of another rock, but it wasn't red until you turned it over. TFTC Allied Pranksters
Out and about with trevkevred and her geohound. This is such a lovely area and you always have it to yourself...well..you have to share it with the roos of course.
Last time I was walking along here I thought: this would be another good spot for a cache...and voila, here it is.

I previously completed The Caves of Polaris when it was a multi and with a nice looking morning with a little breeze I headed out to one of my favourite bush walking areas. I spoke too soon this one is in a different location after the previous two were in the same location as the multi, no water in the gully yet.
Thanks Allied Pranksters.
Thanks Allied Pranksters.
I decided when the series was published on Friday that I would do it this weekend as I was feeling like a walk in the hills. Having read the CO's advice to plan my route, I set out with only a vague plan, but the route I took seemed to work well.
Spent a few minutes searching some likely looking spots before finding this one about 8 meteres away from where my GPS wanted me to look ... would have found it quickly if I read the hint. SL. TNLN. TFTH Allied Pranksters

Continued walking up the track to near this one and directly to GZ. Had no trouble finding it even in the fading light. Now noticed the hint so I hope I put the rocks back the right way.
Thanks Allied Pranksters for the cache.
