Found at 12:02 PM GAFF1.After the killer pyramid cache we came here to cool down and recover and it sure did the trick. The water was a bit coolish and oh so rusty looking, but we didn't care one bit - straight in and brought our core temperatures back to "comfortable" Great ocation and so many travellers here as well which was unexpected after travelling for a while on a corrugated road and seeing no one at all. Thanks to way-finder
Went looking for this one after a quick dip in Python Pool! Was worried there would be nothing to find after a recent looking fire but found it tucked away safe and sound.
Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western WA, away for a month or so. Staying at Miliyanha campground in Millstream Chichester National Park for two nights, we headed out to Python Pool and George's River Ravine for the day, finding the caches along the way. Stopped here for a quick find and a short walk to admire this impressive waterhole. Thanks for the cache way-finder!
Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. We camped in Millstream-Chichester National Park then spent the day exploring the area.We visited Python Pool for a look and some lunch on the way back from Georges River ravine. The cache was a quick find in the obvious non-natural location , but I did have to stick my head in to see it.Thanks way-finder for the cache.
After a wonderful swim, we tackled the spinifex and made our way to GZ. The obvious spot was a short distance away and a careful search revealed the cache. All in good condition. Tftc
We headed out to python pool and had a refreshing dip. We then walked part of the camel track before coming back to the car. I decided to find the cache before my next swim. I took a round about way to get there but I made it. Searched the obvious spot and found it quickly. Thanks for placing
Coordinates must be out. I was standing exactly on gz but nothing could be found. Not poking around and getting spiked by spinifex any longer. Some kind of old relic nearby. Moving on to greener pastures.
Shabooty7a and I both missed it initially due to the setting sun. After looking around we decided to have one more look in the obvious spot, and gotcha. TFTC!
Nearly gave up but one more look from BlueSamurai and yay! Great find after walking the loop to Mount Herbert
It took us a little while to get to GZ and then a little bit longer to actually locate the container since the bright sun and the dark shadows at GZ made seeing anything quite difficult!
Thanks for find #4496
Took nothing, left [SpongeBob Kamp Koral Tag – Gary](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=8826635&page=1) trackable

A day trip from Millstream to visit Python Pool. Last time we were here was many years ago, so it was nice to see it was just as beautiful as we remembered. We were early enough to find the pool almost devoid of people. As we were leaving the crowds were gathering for a swim. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
What a beautiful spot. Went off and found the cache then had a swim in Python Pool to soothe the scratches on my legs from the spinifex
Day 5 of our 3 week journey north & staying at Millstream NP, todays expedition is to Python Pool & beyond.... Whilst the rest of our group sorted out what the plan was I wandered over with the junior lot to find this one Although I had already suggested where the prize would be I started searching elsewhere as the gizmo didn't want us to go that far
I should have trusted my instincts as the cache was located there & found by DangerMouse09 after I had looked first... From memory co-ords around 10 from where my GPS suggested.
TFTC way-finder We had a brief stop at the pool before heading on up to the infinity pools which were amazing ... Spent a few hours up there before setting our sights elsewhere, cheers!

Found it!
• It’s kinda sad that the last time this was found was last year. D: this is an incredible place and I really encourage you to come here, trust me it’s worth it!
• The cache is in great condition BTW! A few old cobwebs though ;D. The pathway seemed to be overgrown by prickly stingy grass. Almost like Mossies. Because of this I recommend closed shoes and also Way-finder, I recommend raising the terrain to 2 and lowering the difficulty to maybe 1.

Had a hunt around and in the 'obvious spot' but could not find. Only had the mobile with no service but still seemed to be pointing me in the right direction. Might be time to buy a proper GPS . . . or go to spec savers!!
Thanks for placing a cache that was reasonably accessible. I couldn’t open the container but have taken a photo as proof I was there. Will send to CO.

I had wanted to go check out Python Pool since the first day I drove past the Karratha tourist information centre and saw the picture of the pool on the billboard. Today, a couple of workmates and I decided to make a day of it and we headed east to check it out.
After stopping at Mt Herbert to nab that cache and take in the scenery, we got to Python Pool. As expected, it was quite busy with other folk who obviously had the same idea as us.
While the water level was a bit lower than we had seen in pics, it was still an amazing sight.
After we checked out the pool and the boys went back to the ute to wait, I went and sought out GZ (after changing out of my thongs and into some boots). I checked the obvious place...twice...but didnt see any cache so then took the next 15 minutes to turn over every rock within a 10m radius. Tempted to give up, i decided to try the obvious place again, and there it was.

After having an early morning swim at the magnificent Python Pool, I trundled off to find this cache. I took off high over the rocks and spinifex in thongs only to spot a geo trail heading to GZ.
A quick find once there.

Gps was a nightmare today but the obvious candidate was correct..... even if I didn't look properly the first, or second time.... ha ha! Bloody gps. TFTC!
Found after a short walk and a short visit to the Python Pool. No python, but a nice spot and cache to make up for it :p

My first geocache in Australia, and such a wonderful place!!! Found together with my daughter Leyla90 after swimming in Python Pool and having a funny day.

No luck today. GPS bounced all over the place, and so many possible hides. We'll head over to Mt Herbert instead.
This cache was found while we are on our Brad&Janet's Excellent Adventure to WA. Travelling with Mr and Mrs Grump68, Mr and Mrs Yang, and the Others.
We organised two events. One in Karajini NP on 20 May and one in Broome on 27 May.
The adventure so far has included a kangaroo charging and head-butting our car left rear door while we were effectively stopped. And a big challenge which was the differential internal locking bolts starting to undo themselves while we were on the Menzies to Sandstone road a mere 570km east of Geraldton.
This enforced a change of plan which took two teams (Brad&Janet and Mr and Mrs Grumpi68) to Geraldton. Which was not been a bad thing at all
While in Geraldton we found a few local caches and even managed a first on a D4.5/T5 6 week old cache in the centre of town!
The other two couples and 4WDs continued on the planned route north and we eventually caught them at Coral Bay after our 4WD had finished its refreshment at the Geraldton ARB Day Spa
Since then we have had a great week in Karijini NP and Millstream Chicester NP again grabbing a few caches on the way.
Then the Gibb River Rd and Kununurra. And the highlight of being the first ever to find Australia's oldest cache The Legend Bluey at Truscott Air Base just over seven years since it was hidden.
And finally home down the centre of Australia.
Found after a bit of a walk through the spinifex with grumpi68. Masybe wortth a bit more T? perhaps 2.5?

Fortunately I had downloaded this cache for using offline. Had a look at the pool before walking to the cache location. Water level is as low as I've ever seen it. Thanks for the cache.
Very hot today but it was a great cool down swimming in the pool. TFTC The Shredder and Skyryser
No luck for me but I wasn't too thorough as it was hot and I didn't want to keep my wife waiting too long. Interesting object though.
Following a very refreshing swim in the green pool we went treasure hunting. With the right path we managed to get through without any spinifex sting. Found the "thing", but failed to spot the cache on first sight. So we looked around for some time, only to find it finally where we failed to look close enough at the beginning.

Grey nomading and caching our way up the middle, across the top, down to Perth and home to Adelaide for Xmas. Drove out to this lovely spot but had no luck today.
It's a lie. If you can get here without the spinifix getting you at least once you must have wings. All ok TFTC
Lovely place to visit-didn't feel comfortable on a very hot day fossicking amongst the vegetation so DNF
This cache is still in the original location - safe and waiting to be found. I got there without any spinifex problems. A new log replaced the old full one.
Happy caching.
Happy caching.
Spinifex was too thick and too sharp for us to reach this cache thongs and shorts not really the right attire
We have driven to Millstream Chichester NP from Dampier where we are staying for a few days. It's a good drive of less than 100 k's, passing thru some interesting and different country on the way. Climbed Mt Herbert, walked to MacKenzie Springs and called into Python Pool for a look and a cache. It's a lovely green oasis in the middle of some fairly dry and rocky country. A bit cool today for a swim, but we imagine it would be very popular when the temp starts to creep up.
On the way back to Dampier we saw a number of very long ore trains. One had over 200 carriages, so was over 2 km long. Pretty impressive to us Victorians. We think a train is long if the carriages reach double figures!

A quick find in the morning. TNLN A channel 7 crew turned up to do some filming for a series called "Australia, the story of us". While we were swimming in the pool the drone camera flew overhead about 6 times and stopped to look down on us. Guess we might be in the documentary. Movie stars!! Added a bit of excitement to the swim I can tell you. Should air about March next year they reckon. TFTC
Clearing the Millstream caches 5/6.
Quick find here, after signing the log visited the amazing pool.

Late afternoon run at millstream collecting cache's. sign up somewhere warning people not to come in direct contact with the pool water. Disappointed kids! Thanks for the cache another ticked off!
Another detour on the way back to karratha. Also not sure what the structure may have been.

Found at 36°C (in the shade). You get an idea why the Pilbara is the warmest region in WA... and it's only springtime.
Didn't take too long to find, but my GPS didn't like it. Was all over the show. T4TC I wonder what the structure was used for?

Down to the pool, up on the hill... GPS was a bit funny there, though it shouldn't be that bad in open terrain.
Nice cache in great spot! The pool's rock wall looks similar to Magazine Pool in Wittenoom gorge.
Took nothing, left model white Jaguar. Barely fitted it in, but at least locomotive won't feel alone for a while.

Collected this as part of a early morning Millstream cache haul, clever spot. Many thanks.
Damn it! Saw this one pop up and considering there were no logs, took off this morning for a first to find!! Only to discover some cachers by the name of "Hugo and Sara" had beaten me to it by 11 days but haven't logged their find yet....DOH!! Is there such a thing as a "first to log" lol.........
Anyway, a great spot, one of the first places we visited inland from Karratha when we moved up here....and I don't know if it is pure coincidence, but on the way back to the car, I was lucky enough to snap a photo of a Python sunning itself on a rock! A Python at Python Pool! How cool is that!! Check out the photo.......
