Very good hiding spot

01-Oct-24
Found this pretty quick because I have visited with [@the Seagnoid](https://coord.info/PR5DMHT) before but this was cache number 1 of todays planned caches with etherfather and [@sammyboi4512](https://coord.info/PR1Q8KV9).

16-Jul-24
Today we are heading home again after a successful caching trip to Wairarapa and Manawatu. But we had to make just a couple more stops for puzzle finals before we left town. This was the last of our trip. We have noticed this cache on each trip to Pamerston North, but for some reason we assumed we needed to come across a trackable. This time we read the cache page properly, and realised it was very do-able. We expected to have a bit of trouble finding what was needed, so were very surprised to spot it on our first pass. We had already figured what was likely to be the next step, and soon were heading for the final location. The cache itself was a quick find. Thanks, glad to turn this one into a smiley.

14-Jul-24
5 years after first looking for this one and it was missing and we were finally back in the area with some time to find it. Glad I had kept the final coords and the nicely hidden cache was soon located. Thanks for something a bit different.

19-May-24
After needing a hint on the first clue, getting the cache coords was easy and so to was locating the cache. TFTC.

Did with Crystal Fairy.

28-Oct-23
I don't think I could have found it without Crystal Fairy and The Wandering Dragons.I love the mural in the tunnel by Victoria Forbes.

Cache # 5,108 - Big road trip today with ***ackTW*** (Crystal Fairy, Karincakiz, The Wandering Dragons). Been eying up this one for years, and happy to have it in the bag! All good here. TNLNSL. TFTC!

28-Oct-23
Logged as ackTW (Crystal Fairy, Karinca Kiz, The Wandering Dragons). This was my second attempt at this one. First time did something wrong and ended up probably 100m away. Had resolved the correct co-ords a long time ago and this was the first time in the area. Lovely little spot with obvious geotrail and spotted the cache as I neared GZ. Thanks for the puzzle and cache.

21-Oct-23
We hunted and hunted for a clue, tried a couple of random ideas but nothing made sense. then Mrs HeMaLuDy spied the hint item. Now it was time for more research. We had a couple of potential attempts but nothing successful. We figured we had done something wrong but decided to move on and come back another time.A small group of us from Team SEAC consisting of Keylev, Stik-A-Crane, Uncle Sam and ourselves had come down from Auckland to spend the long weekend caching in the Manawatu area. The plan was to get as many as possible. Along the way we had some great adventures, many laughs, met some interesting people and found a wide selection of caches. TFTC. A cool concept.

21-Oct-23
Day #2 of the Team SEAC extra long weekend little road trip for Labour Weekend.Well this one had us going around and around in circles. We struggled to find the information at first but eventually by accident suddenly Mrs HeMaLuDy spied it...woohoo. Tried the maths and went to GZ but nothing made sense....hmm what were we missing. Aha I had another idea. A bit more maths and although the location seemed to match some of the information in previous logs that didn't seem to make sense either. A great concept but we couldn't crack this one today unfortunately.

29-Aug-23
Funny story here! I actually visited here a few years back..found what I was looking for..took a photo…wrote it down and tried to solve it from the car but nothing worked! Finally gave up and moved on to another cache. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago and I had another go from my written notes. No go again. Time to PAH who after a few hints asked what I written down and doh! I had one written down wrong! I didn’t even think to have another look at the original photo I took!! Well I was away after that and had some coords very quickly. Almost as quickly as I found this cache today! All good at GZ and neat idea for a puzzle. TFTC

27-Aug-23
Having spent the last week in Taranaki LNM1961 suggested we look for this cache this afternoon on our way home, rather than tomorrow morning. Luckily there was a pair of binoculars in the car. It wasn’t long until I spotted what I needed to use to work out the coordinates. Then we were on our way to the cache. The opossum, which had been in residence earlier, has departed for salubrious accommodation.

Kia ora rawa atu for the cache the Seagnoid.

21-Jun-23
Had a very good look, after a while we noticed a code but turned out to be graffiti. No wonder why we had trouble reading it. 2nd time round code was quickly found and surprised we couldn’t see it. We definitely made it harder than it should be.
I wrote in the log and placed the cache back as found. TFTCSL, Thanks the Seagnoid for this unique Mystery cache.

This one took a long time to figure out, in the end resorted to other means and got the job done.
Great concept, and great artwork at the listed Coords.

Ready to go again Smile

Cache replaced. Enjoy!

14-Nov-22
The cache has fallen down a bottomless hole. I'll be up shortly to put in a replacement.

13-Nov-22
Dropped Junior off swimming and had S along as this cache has proved elusive on way too many times. Rang to verify coords with HS who offered to also come as it
had been years since she found it. S spied the cache, but being vertically challenged was unable to make purchas. Yours truly had arms too big to fit in the crevice. Did HS suggest using a stick? I know she supplied one. Oops. Goodbye cache. Disappeared forever down this crevice. A note to CO explaining...

24-Aug-22
Pleased to have finally found this cache, has only taken me a few times, checking artwork, plugging in some numbers, rechecking artwork & walking back to find no cache. Glad this is on one of my walking beats, so great to have finally found the cache (possum free) - did use my torch to check & recheck that it was only the cache and no furry non friend. Thanks Seagnoid for the cache puzzle. Favourite given for puzzle.

24-Jul-22
A very satisfying cache!! I have looked at this cache every time we visit Palmerston North but never seem to get here. Today, after a few false starts, we finally found a safe spot to park and visit gz. Unfortunately by this time it was after 4pm, the sun had slunk off for the day and a crisp southerly whipped through. A scene setter for one who was still suffering a tormenting head cold. After a carefully controlled scan up and down and around the artwork I was beginning to wonder if I had interpreted this cache correctly. Luckily my geocaching fortitude is strong and I scanned yet again, this time spotting something. A quick calculation and, still not sure I had this right, we headed off to gz. The cache was quickly located. Yes!! Thanks for the cool mystery cache the Seagnoid.

24-Jul-22
It was late afternoon when I arrived at GZ...in fact I wasn't completely sure exactly were GZ was . the picture provided suggested it was near the entrance as did my GPS...but I could not locate any info from this area...so up top I went this gave me a very sharp co ord for GZ. ..uuumm devious I dropped a perpendicular. mental line down and revisited the tunnel yes that made more sense and soon had the required info even still a photo was required to clarify the faded information ..the wind was mean and chilling along with that I needed some were to figure out the rest of the answers..huddled in a corner taking shelter from the elements..we must have look as suspicious as finally it was all sorted and all was revealed the nice geo trail lead me to a likly spot and the log was signed..mission completed thanks the seagnoid for the punishing test ..it is a well thought out puzzle

26-Jun-22
Really amazing puzzle, well thought out. Cache itself was well hidden - a lot of fun to solve. Thanks for the cache, giving this one a favorite point.

Day 14/20 of puzzle cache challenge.

29-May-22
Cache restored (had fallen to the ground), not in the hole occupied by a possum. Also edited the cache page to remove a small point of confusion for the unobservant.

28-May-22
Yet another (third in a row) in a series of random road trips around the country. This weekend brings me up to Napier via Palmerston North on Saturday and back home to Wellington via the Wairarapa on Sunday. With only a few real life commitments in between I had plenty of spare time for targeting some specific caches along the way. Some were selected to help me with my various geocaching goals, some were such fun puzzle solves that I just had to come and sign the log, and some are just because. This cache is one of them.

Wow. Very cool cache puzzle that due to misinterpreting the clues given had me searching in the wrong place initially. Once the CO put me on the right path I spent close to an hour searching for the information required. Finally found it and did the required calculations.

Made my way to the cache location where the cache container was found on the ground. All in good shape so signed the log and went to return it to the obvious hint location, when I discovered that it was occupied by a possum (who was not happy about me being there). Cache was returned to the second most appropriate location in the same hide area. What an adventure this has been!

Thanks to the Seagnoid for placing this cache here.

No luck here today.

16-Nov-21
In the area today and had a good look. Found a couple of good spots that certainly matched the hint but no luck.

25-Oct-21
Unfortunately we either did something wrong or couldn't find the cache (or both). No geochecker to confirm co-ords so no idea which of the above applies..

23-Jul-21
Had the day off work today. A nice sunny day to be out caching. Wondered around for a while before Mrs Rubbishparty tracked this one down. Nicely hidden. Did the calculations and then off to GZ. Didn’t take long to spot the cache and sign the log. Thanks Seagnoid for an interesting puzzle.

14-Mar-21
14 March 2021 14:08 9294. That took a lot of finding, even with a 'nudge' from a previous finder. Fortunately, others did the mental gymnastics and worked out where we needed to be. Once there, we checked (and re checked) a few possible options before Bruzie finally located it. TFTC.

14-Mar-21
Another InfoFerret-planned roadtrip to the Manawatu with GSEL and myself. This time the target was Etherlord Clan's MGC: Pi Day 2021 event in Palmerston North, and to tackle the 20/20 and archived skindo caches on Wharite Peak.

Phew! That took some doing! I had visited here a couple of times previously without finding the trackable, and we even had a look earlier in the day, before giving up and deciding to try and get a hint at the event. Furnished with further information, we came back and still struggled a bit until I spotted something - a little clean up and yes, the trackable code revealed itself - very well disguised.

We worked out the final coordinates and headed on over. A bit of exploring and eventually I got my hands on the cache. I signed the log for the group and InfoFerret picked up the pathtag (I've already got one of those, and in actual fact have a spare). Replaced and headed back to the car for more adventures. All good here, and TFTC.

#9180. Another weekend. Another road trip to the Manawatu with Infoferret and Bruzie. This one minus a bare-footed chap. We had our sights set today on the Community Celebration Pi-Day Event being hosted by the Etherlord Clan and if time and weather allowed a trip up Wharite Peak. Left Wellington at 8am and so had time to do a few caches before the event.

Well we visited here before the event and despite 4 and half decent eyes looking (my vision is rat shite) we failed to spot the cunningly hidden code. We got a useful hint from a previous finder on where to concentrate our search while at the event. Even then we all swept up and down the tunnel a few times until a team member with more youthful eyesight spied the necessary information. Then we set about calculating GZ. Well the others did as while I know how to do that on my laptop at home I have never done it on a phone before. They had an answer before I had figured out how to make it happen in the field.

We set off for GZ. One team member on her backside, one coolly walking down the slope while the other did their best to avoid the backside romp. Approaching GZ there was a hint of a geotrail but it went cold. We searched further afield. I didn't have the coordinates in my GPS so just searched for the hint but bruzie made the find in a place I had suggested looking. A pattern repeated a few times today. I did have a pen which he had forgotten to bring! Signed the logbook and replaced everything as found. Thanks the Seagnoid for placing your cache here. A memorable cache and one deserving of a favourite. D2 might be a bit under-rated in my view. There are quite a few tricky elements to this puzzle.

18-Sep-20
Eventually found the cleverly placed trackable number. After doing the calculations the co-ords looked good and we set off to look for the cache. It took a little while of searching before coming across the cache. Nice one Seagnoid. Tftc and challenge.

18-Sep-20
What with some keen eye sight the Trackable was found and the last of the clues was feed into the system then the the real work began took a bit of finding to find the right hole clever wee hide thanks Seagnoid for the placement and the TB TFTC

29-Aug-20
I heard a rumour that the trackable was missing so came to look for it. Yep, it still here. Waiting for you...

02-Aug-20
Well, where to start? What's this? the third, fourth, fifth visit?
First time was back in June as I was wanting to put a 20 years commemorative geocache in the area, but first I had to find the multi-cache or puzzle cache Final location that was preventing me. So that entailed finding the final GZ of all possible nearby geocaches.
So I came here to find Trackable - with no luck. Then I resorted to bringing a friend (who'd previously found it), but while they remembered approximately where it was even then we couldn't find it.
But then Finally I found it. So that gave me the longitude. But I wasn't happy, as I didn't have the latitude. It took me another few days to get the Ah ha! moment. Thank you JB for the idea.
So finally with all the required info, today's visit had me searching for the hint.
And Finally, another Ah ha moment as I saw the hint and the cache. TNLNSL and very happy. Also happy because this is another cache NOT encroaching into my planned but disallowed location.
Gotta be worth a FP for the frustration, inventiveness and Fun. TFTC

11-Dec-19
I wanted one cache today had a DNF, back here for another look and found the trackable then the cache. Thanks the Seagnoid for this puzzle cache.

29-Oct-19
Cache check all good here

28-Sep-19
Found hole but nothing in it. Missing I think

03-Jun-19
Yep, it's missing. Replaced.

06-Jan-19
Found the trackable we required easily enough and once we had all the info we headed off. Located the perfect spot for a cache that fitted the hint but we were unable to find anything there. We will recheck our info but am leaving town in a couple of days so really disappointed that we probably won't be able to finish this one.

26-Aug-18
I had been spending the weekend up in Palmy with friends, and getting a bit of caching done as well. Having said my good byes this morning, I decided to take the 'scenic' route home as it was a glorious Spring day and I had plenty of time to myself.

I had had a quick go at this one a few weeks ago, but had been pressed for time and dusk had fallen so was working in subdued light at that time, so I didn't log it as a DNF as it was more of a case of DNGive it a good enough go. I had parked up close by to this one in order to have a walk along the riverside pathway to try for some solved puzzle caches down there, and so was able to spend the appropriate time today.

Looking for the appropriate requirement, I knew in principal what I was looking for, and eventually spotted it. How had I not seen it the previous time? One of the eternal mysteries of geocaching is the tricks our eyes can play on us at times. However, I had it now so was able to obtain the correct co-ordinates for the final.

I was wondering if I was heading in the right direction initially as there had been a lot of ground work done in this area, but actually found the hiding place relatively easily. All is well with both container and logbook, and the seclusion of that location meant I was able to sign the log in peace and replace it all as found ready for the next searcher. I'm actually surprised this hadn't been found for a while, as it's inventive and unusual as a concept for a puzzle cache, for which I am giving a FP.

Thank you for the placement.

06-Apr-18
Cycling home from work I thought I'd check whether the final was still there, given all the landscaping work that's been going on nearby. The cache is still in place and ready to be found.

01-Jan-17
I never cease to be amazed by the creativity shown by cache owners when they come up with ideas for caches. This one was unique as far as my caching experience goes. It took me a while, but not unduly, to complete the first part of the mission. I returned today to search for cache at my calculated final location. My GPSr directed my to a promising looking site which I searched thoroughly. I then noticed it was pointing elsewhere and I was soon able to find what I was after.

18-Sep-16
What an interesting area for a cache to be placed and finding a suitable car park another challenge where its not to wet and may get stuck, but we did find a safe spot to park then it was off to find the cache and hopefully not too many muggles around, it was our lucky day we only saw 3 muggles and they were only interested in there running. So we were not noticed looking suspicous at all. Didn't take too long to find the cache, Cache was all good here so signed the log placed the cache back were we found it and off to find another cache. Thank you for placing a cache here in this interesting area which I have never been to before TFTC

31-Aug-16
Nice little 'multi'. Had to reach cache for T-Rex–dinosaur-arms Denomynator. TFTC!

31-Aug-16
It took some time, but we finally got all the pieces of the puzzle. TFTC!

23-Jul-16
Very early start to the day, 4.30am wake up and leaving the house just after 6.30 fill the tank pick up sunju and we are off, our main goal today was to grab some multi's and ? caches that we both hadnt found, and a couple of standard ones finishing up around 5.30pm it made a very long day, we walked what felt like many kms getting lost/answers. - with cache all replaced and heading out this was to grab some massey caches sunju is much braver than myself when it comes to putting your hand in a hole, soon had cache in hand nice clean log to sign. tftc

23-Jul-16
Out caching with Marisa&Kaleb - early 6.50am start. A very long day but most productive. Never knew this was here lol as I don't have reason to come over this side of town. Soon found the trackable and worked the co-ordinates and a good hunt through up and around again. A fabulous hiding place albeit a bit wary of sticking hand in there. This was a great cache - puzzle and hide. Many thanks. Giving it a favourite.

19-Jul-16
Thanks, Push'n East, your help is much appreciated.

18-Jul-16
Found the necessary code last week after work and discovered cache had gone AWOL. After contacting CO, cache has been replaced on his requested. Excellent mystery and need sharp eyes to spot trackable. TFTC

17-Jul-16
Looks like it has gone missing. Grrr.... Hope to have it replaced soon.

12-Jul-16
Found what I was looking for and worked out final coords, which lead me to the clue item. Cache unfortunately no where to be seen. Will check with CO if I have the correct clue item.

08-Dec-15
This has been nagging at me for a long time, with about 4 previous visits. The secret at the given co-ords was not the problem, I worked out the next with some suggestions given to me but the final..?...Well! ..My final co-ords were right but I wanted to go one place despite the GPS nudging me else where, after all of course it couldn't be over there and as my GPS was jumping around each time I visited, I didn't trust the GPS. So I needed a little direction and then once on the right track , it was a matter of following it and finding the hint, even then it was the second hole attempted before the treasure was found. Finally thank you for this different puzzle cache.

05-Dec-15
Finally got back to log this one a while after solving it.

Bravery award goes to Master Swiss Very Happy

01-Dec-15
We definitely attempted this one on the wrong day! Rain rain rain. It meant finding the trackable was fairly simple. Eagle-eyed Mr Jamogen spotted it fairly quickly! But all the rain certainly meant hunting for the cache was a lot more damp... Very well hidden! Such a great place for the cache and had to be pretty brave retrieving it! Thanks for the puzzle! Very enjoyable!

22-Aug-15
Found the code fairly quickly before a look for a the final that took a bit longer. TFTC

22-Aug-15
After finding this one with Tommygun9 before I signed up to do Geocaching I thought that it would be ice and easy to find. Turns out I was wrong. After 3 or 4 visits we finally had the GPS telling us the correct location. Still it took a while searching here after becoming a little fixated on the most obvious spot. Finally found another likely location and the cache was spotted... Took someone better than me to retrieve the cache though.
Thanks for the cache

13-Jun-15
Found after a hint from StephW (thanks!) Nice puzzle and it was good to re-visit a location I often cycle through to and from work, but haven't stopped to look closer at.

23-May-15
Found the Trackable about 10 days ago after a thorough search… then failed to find the final location on first two attempts - The weather was bad and GPS not good on the smartphone so I thought maybe it was in the flooded storm water drain nearby??
Returned a few days ago once the water level was back to normal and found the cache in a totally different type of hidey-hole… Glad to have signed this one off as it had been bugging me for a while!

Thanks for the puzzle Smile

15-May-15
What a great piece of art work - thanks for taking me here.
Retrieved my first TB from the cache - hope to help this little bug on its journey.

02-May-15
#675 Easy find with JimmyNZ on a Saturday morning. Have to be a bit courageous to put you hand in there though. TB drop.

02-May-15
Great little puzzle to solve and good hiding spot. Found by Greenslime in the end. TFTC

17-Apr-15
I think I worked out the coordinates of the cache correctly from the trackable, but could not locate on the ground. After 4 visits I think I'll park this for now. Maybe come back to it if someone else finds it after me!

03-Jan-15
Possum had solved this puzzle sometime ago thanks to a hint from edvern so we decided it was about time to knock it off. Since no one had found the cache for sometime there was not an obvious beaten path to GZ through the jungle but there is now. The GPS fix was pretty good and the cache was soon in Cleo's hand. TFTC the Seagnoid.

29-May-14
Nice and easy ,cool idea tftc

26-Apr-14
Forgot to log my trackable visit here...

26-Apr-14
Hallelujah! ! After weeks and weeks of trying to sort this one out and after a crash course on trackables from the CO, we are very glad to finally log a smilie on this cache! Smile TFTC Mr Seagnoid

Found it today. Tried a year ago and DNF. first chance to have another got. Found with Kingsports

23-Apr-14
There is brave and then theres brave. nice family outing and great sense of achievement, with grumpydba and family

15-Apr-14
[Green] Okay. Old location no longer suitable, so the cache has been moved. New cache container, new hide, new coordinates, and new tweaks to the puzzle to make it all work.

Good luck out there!

07-Apr-14
Yep, its missing. May have been gardened. Will have a replacement back shortly.

06-Feb-14
Got the trackable after a considerable look but not successful locating the cache!!

06-Feb-14
Was very keen to do this cache and enjoyed the challenge. Sadly we couldn't locate the cache at the end.

26-Nov-13
Great hiding spot!

25-Nov-13
Nice hide great hint tftc!

18-Nov-13
I really enjoyed this one, I nice easy puzzle that didnt take a week to solve. Foudn the trackable straight away then popped back to the car to work out the co-ord and back again. Searched for a bit and was just about ready to give up when i spotted the cache! thanks.

27-Oct-13
Quite a struggle all round on this one, very good eyes needed. And pretty much resigned to a DNF in looking for the cache but a last final recheck of where I initially thought it was turned up trumps.

Many thanks.

Finding the trackable code in the tunnel and finding the cache was the easy part for me Smile. Where I struggled with this puzzle was how to work out the final co ords (probably the easiest part for most! Razz).

After emailing the CO for advice and receiving no reply I asked a cacher at a recent meet & greet who clarified what I needed to do - thanks heaps! I could now work out the final co ords. Smile

My final co ords proved to be spot on for a quick find today on a wet PN afternoon. Smile

24-Aug-13
This one was quite a challenge. At first we had used the wrong numbers but had put us in a very plausible location. After 30 mins of searching in the wrong area we decided to give up. We got a small hint from another and we now had the correct location. It took me three attempts to locate the cache and still needed help to actually find it. I do enjoy a good challenge. TFTC +FP

19-Aug-13
Happy to find this one after being A LONG way off the first time.

29-Jul-13
We had gone through this subway before, and spent a while admiring it again this afternoon, but were completely off-track.

29-Jul-13
Finally...after about 10 visits to look for the trackable I finally found it when I took my parents along as well. Very nicely concealed. That wasn't the end of this saga though. We copied one digit down wrong - a very crucial one needed to locate the cache. On my next visit to the trackable I quickly corrected the number (easy to find when you know where it is!) and was off to find the cache. Despite not understanding the item the hint was referring to it didn't take long to spot the container. Thanks for a really interesting puzzle that occupied many hours.

08-Jun-13
Sweet P's keen eye spotted the needed trackable code without too much ado. Then we went off to do some other stuff, and returned with final coords figured. Whilst engaged in the search along came another who was taking pics of the trackable code in the tunnel. With this cacher's help (capperz) we made fast work of the rest of the search. Then compared some notes, as you do, and wandered off on our separate ways to enjoy a perfect day in Palmy.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too Big Grin
The Turtle strikes again!
Was later surprised to see that capperz has been a member on groundspeak for around the same amount of time as I have. I don't often bump into the old timers. Cheers.

26-May-13
We made really hard work of this puzzle cache with several visits to the initial site to find the trackable and then a couple to find the actual cache itself. If it wasn't for the hint, and having to rely solely on the GPSr, then it would be highly likely that this would be a grumpy DNF. However just as Mr All7ofusnz was about to leave he spotted one more place to check and finally had the cache in hand. We can confirm that the trackable is still in place and that the final coordinates are not too far out. TFTC.

24-May-13
Dropped in today with capperz having cracked the code recently

Still have no bloody idea where trackable is, but managed to stumble upon cache while searching w/ kcoley. TFTC

This one had me scratching my head for a wee while and felt as if it was taunting me every time I rode past on the way to uni, so finally dedicated some time to finding and came up trumps with, MAKESHlFT, TFTC

26-Mar-13
wow, this one took a long time to tick off.
We had so many issues with it. But, finding the trackable wasn't one of them. Turning it into the correct co-ordinates proved difficult. It was only after a discussion with the CO, who gave us a general idea of where we should be that we realised where we were going wrong. We had mis-read the trackable. Going back & looking at it again didn't make it look any different, but we were able to work out what it was meant to be - or so we thought!
Three trips to GZ followed - we found plenty of rubbish, got covered in scratches from brambles, & got dirty hands & clothes, but left empty handed each time, vowing never to return.
However, seeing that a hint had been added, we relented & thought we'd give it one last try. We returned & found many of the hint item, geo-trails, & the area our GPS indicated had been well searched by other cachers so knew, we weren't alone in the way we were thinking.
However, it was only after putting the GPS away & pursueing something the CO had said, that we eventually stumbled across the cache, 37mts from where we had been looking.
So, so happy not to have to give up on this one, & to finally walk away triumphant.
Apologies for any nasty thoughts we threw your way during all these attempts, Seagnoid. Most of them abated with the sight of the cache today, & the rest will I'm sure disappear with time. LOL
We really like puzzle caches to have a checksum, geo-check or hint (although one was added), to show your on the right track.

10483…

Admired the cool artwork, love the concept and enjoyed the solve. Took a while to track down the cache. Many thanks for the fun.

Got really muddled with this one & then totally had the wrong tree... but Mr bumpyflea found it (with actual bugs crawling all over) while Mrs bumpyflea and myself got scratched & poked looking further away...

Found fairly quickly (bit of scratching around involved) on the way to the 12/12/12 event in Palmerston North. Nicely done. SL TFTC

I thought I had some co-ords (solved from home) which we checked out yesterday, but when we realised that we couldn't short-circuit the WP, came back today to "do it properly".
After some fruitless searching, I had a sudden flash of inspiration and knew where to find the trackable. Sure enough, there it was.
A geotrail lead us to the final - but am quite sure a wheel chair would not be able to make it to GZ.
Thanks for showcasing some local art, and for an excellent puzzle.
