This was my first cache of the day.
I parked at Hartfield rd and took the goat track of a trail to GZ.
The track was particularly scratchy for the first 100m when starting at this point.
The path in some areas had become so overgrown it was hard to figure out which way the trail went. Thankfully I’ve downloaded a WA trails map on Cachly which helped greatly but there were some times where I had to back track and try again.
Cache was found in good condition.
Thanks for the hide ROSS1957, it was a great view fro the top.

Track is well and truly overgrown here and was a bit of a bush bash. Somehow a muggle found this.
Three of us headed out this morning to grab a few caches around Lesmurdie and Kalamunda, with the main goal of the morning to find bridging the cache GC18F5 which is one of the oldest caches in the state and one of only a handful of 2001 caches I haven’t found as yet.
We targeted a number of puzzles around the area many of which hadn’t been found in 12 plus months.
A great morning out and home in time for the cricket in the arvo - winning on all fronts.

Enjoyable day out finding some oldies and some unloved caches.

Well we could see where we need to be from ‘Another City Lookout’, and we could see a track on Satellite maps to take us there. The only problem was the decent amount of ‘down’ then ‘up’ to get there . Oh well .. it should warm us up we thought
We bush-bashed our way straight up until we hit the track and followed it down. It was quite overgrown on the way down, but it led us to the bottom of the valley and back up the other side to GZ. The cache was a quick find, and we again took in some amazing views of the city, even though it was spotted with rain squalls. I took a few snapshots before returning the cache, and we returned back to car the way we had come.
TFTC ROSS1957 .. all good with this one

Had not intended on trying this cache, but picked up a random trail which led to it. However, great view! As I arrived, a kangaroo guarding the cache went bounding off. Nice quick find. TFTC.
Out for a run around the codes and ciphers series with Lazarus_68, before we started on the series we decided to picked this one up since it hadn't been found in a while. We parked on Hatfield road and walked up the hill using an overgrown path. Great views from the cache location Thanks Ross for bringing us here.
Out for an early morning geo-hike with caching buddy hhheddy; on our way up to the hills.
Nice location & view, thank you for bringing us here.
Note to CO - plastic bag needs replacing.

After a shitty day it was great to do a nice hard walk ... Thank you just what the doctor ordered
Walked up from the end of Hatfield Rd and it was not too hard even though the track was very overgrown.
We enjoyed our walk around the Honey Road bushland today, the weather was perfect, the view spectacular, and we collected a few good caches along the way too. Thanks ROSS1957.
On my campaign to do 15,000 steps continued on from Another City Outlook to this one. Wow this certainly felt like a much harder terrain than 2.5 by the time i had trekked down the rocky slope and then back up the hill through the bushes. I was certainly glad to reach the top. Signed the log and looked across to see my car at the Honey View Lookout - another car parked next to it I was concerned they might be breaking into it - needless to say it was a much faster hike back - car was fine just a tourist. TftC and a morning exercise.

I took a direct beeline route from Another City Outlook to get to this cache, so it was a pretty decent ascent. I half jogged it so the blood was pumping quite nicely. Easy find. TFTC Ross
Near the top he says " ... On a road never crossed except by folks that are lost ..." Under some rocks he says right Have you seen the rocks? But it was an eazy find right on DZ, now for the car ... straight up the hill - yeah right - I was lost and no track! Picked up a TB dropped a golf ball.
Parked at the end of Hartfield rd for this one and proceeded up the hill. After a few scratches on the legs and doubling back a couple times I eventually made it to GZ. Then it was about a five minute search before I found the cache.
Now I just have to get back down.

Have seen this one on the listings for a while now but haven't yet gone to find it but earlier this afternoon I went to look for it co ords were spot on and I had a quick find I enjoyed the walk and the cache I am so grateful there was a pencil too because I forgot one to bring along but was thankful that there was one. I very much enjoyed going to find this cache apart from the spiky bushes I walked through but no big deal. Oh and a fantastic view too just makes me realise how thankful I am for the awesome city we live in TFTC
Out showing Sykeskids where all the caches were around here and picked up this one for the last cache

After spending all day yesterday doing some long overdue maintenance around the house, I wasn't going to stay home for a second day. Plans were made last night to head up Lesmurdie/Kalamunda way. What we didn't count on was the soaring temperatures. Geobuddy has an allergy to grevillea, so getting to this one was a bit of a challenge for him. Took a while to find this one, but perseverance paid off, and smiley face earned. Startled a huge boomer close to gz too. Thanks for bringing us here ROSS1957
Came up here with monf to do the 4 caches on a cloudy Sunday arvo. We parked at the end of Hartfield Rd and made our way up the hill, this seems to be Bandicoot territory by the amount of sniffing little B had to perform after one crossed our track.

Out caching with AlliedOz today while the ladys chat and look after the kids thanks ROSS1957 for the caches in the area!!
The 4th out here today while caching with Rokadz, the walk in was much easier but time was getting away from us so a quick find, a check of google maps on the quickest way back to our car at Honey Rd Lookout cache and we were off.

Set out on a loop from the end of Hartfield Rd to pick up a few this morning, this was the first of them. A decent walk along the old firebreak had us to it for an easy find. TFTC, on to the next.
[:(!] Went for an afternoon of caching, parked the geoGrand Vitara as close as possible to GZ and walked in the rest of the way, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

I have been meaning to get this cache for quite some time, but have always been distracted by other areas or other caches. This morning I was out early to pick up a nearby GCA Moveable cache, and after grabbing that one I decided to stop in for this cache too.
It was a pleasant walk up the hill, although long pants might have been more appropriate for even though I was following the trail, it was quite overgrown with very prickly plants.
The cache was a quick find once at GZ. Thanks for the cache ROSS1957!

We wouldn't have normally come up to this type of cache on such a hot day butwe were collecting GCA moveable caches and decided we might as well walk the extra bits to get this cache.
Found without problems.
Thanks ROSS1957 for the cache.

The lucky last for the day. These hills make me realise how much fitness I have lost with these last months of relative idleness. Another splendid view way off to the coast, made even more special with the setting sun. Looked on the wrong side of the rock where the cache hidden was for starters, and then the gps decided it was meters away, so had a bit of a circular dance for a while before eventually coming back to the original spot and looked properly. Thanks for sharing another of your views and for the cache Ross1957.
After parking on Hartfield Road, we made a quick walk up the fire trail to make an easy find.
I had to take a visit to Lesmurdie so dropped by to pick up the caches in this area on the way home. An enjoyable walk between the caches. TFTC.
In the area so took the opportunity for a walk in hills on a cloudy day. I tackled this one from Hartfield Road, just a short walk up the fire trail.
Thanks ROSS1957.
Thanks ROSS1957.
Steep and slippery descent after logging the find made for a slow journey; I'm always very cautious on gravel. Nice area, with good views. So close to Whelshpool Rd too. Thanks for the cache ROSS1957.
great walk through the bush to collect $ caches.....thoroughly enjoyed it, thanks ROSS1957
Nice to have a cache placed close to home. We came in from Hartfield Rd end and it was really quite a bush bash in with lots of sticks, bushes etc that had been burnt in the fire. We ended up quite black and scratched but really enjoyed the view. Thanks heaps for this one Ross1957.
joint effort for this cache but got beaten by my uncle 2nd tf will have to do haha
A very fast find Helbren.
I hid it at 10.00am, it was listed and published by 11.15am and you found it at 12.3o.
Well done:)
