Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Battled my way through bush from a car park to find a lovely big track and many burnt red climbing trees. Strange there was no evidence of a burnt geocache.
Our last full day here in the tropics so we decided to use it to check out the town and collect some caches as we went.
Another mozzie spot, found the very wet log

Geodad and I went in for this one but forgot mozzie spray. Found a wet cache today.
Trinity, another spot I want to head up to later in the arvo. Thaks for the reminder.
Thanks to mraussieadventurer and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Mozzies were very hungry this time and GPS played up a bit but found it after a few minutes of looking.

It took me a while to find the right tree. Good hide, but environment looked a bit scary because of the car with broken windows.
Didn't find any trackables.

North Qld 2013. Day 33 Cairns, last day of the second Dive Trip. So sad, trip pretty much over. This looked easier than it was. It ended u0p being a nice walk, but being in a hurry it always seems more of a challenge than it needed to be. apart from a muggle living in the forest not too far away it all went well. At GZ there was enough cover to be well hidden from the camp area. Thanks.

Found while visiting from the South Coast of WA. Took the opportunity for a training run and find a couple of caches along the way. Cache was not far from a vehicle parked in the scrub that looked like home for someone.
No muggles walking by, but there was one camping a little ways away but managed to get the find and my first TB. Time to take him for a walk.
Found while in Cairns, on our travels around Australia.
Interesting walk to GZ, a few muggles in the area.
Cache well hidden, log damp but ok.
Thanks for the cache, mraussieadventurer.

Have never seen a red beech tree. Most ineresting. TN, left swap from other near Mossman. TFTC.
Having had a watch on this one and seen that it had been found we were back in Cairns and decided to have another look. This time knowing what the tree looked like that we were hoping to find a cache near we did the hunt, search and eliminate and found the cache. By our GPS the co-ords could do with some correction but that is just our opinion. SL TFTC
Found it! Took a bit of hunting as two spots in the GZ matched the description. Few mozzies out and about too.

Now with so many smiles and only one other DNF. With the very descriptive red beech tree (fantastic looking tree). With what looked like an obvious standing spot and and area well and truly 'poked'.
Perhaps the owner can check this one and make sure it is still in place. We will watch and wait.

Wow, the mozzies. Glad I took my brother who is a magnet for them even with the 2 coats of aeroguard he was followed by a swarm. TFTC.

On a week long trip to Cairns and Innisfail. Began today with caches near to our accommodations. Weather much drier than yesterday in Brisbane! Bit of a walk dodging muggles but after GPS settled found well described location.

Decided to take the "fun" track to get to this cache. Nearly required a machete to get through. Was fun with the kids.

This one is closest to my hotel, so it was first on the list today. I am always amazed when finding spots like this in the middle of a city, you could almost forget where you are.

My first cache ! nice walk in and not too hard to find. had nothing to put in and took nothing. will return at later date with something though. thanks
P.S. Area could really do with a clean up... suggest taking a bag in with you to bring some trash out.

Greetings from Oregon! Walking and caching around Cairns while Charlie 2 is off on a motorbike trip up Cape York. A long, hot, thirsty walk. Had to input the 'parking' coords even though I was walking to get the right direction to start. Didn't much like the ants guarding the cache. It was nice and cool and quiet once near the cache, and nice to listen to the tropical birds. Found a seafood store and a grocery on the walk back to make a picnic of prawn salad on the boardwalk. T4T
This is one of four that we found this morning while killing time waiting for our flight out. Thanks.
While I approached by bike I saw five boys aged about ten on the run: playing around with some lighters, they had caused a small bush fire which had gone out of their control...
After extinguishing , I proceeded to the nearby cache.

Found @ 10am. Had he day off work today and thought I should do a few of the caches that have popped up recently. Wandered down to this one and had the place to myself, apart from a few mozzies.

Parked at the co-ordinates provided and from there followed the defined path across a small creek, before veering to the left along another path.
Once at the GZ had to look for the cache hide.
As Walter described, plenty of mossies so bring some repellant.
We took nothing but left a Traditional Cache Micro Geocoin to start an Australian adventure.
Thanks again Mr AussieAdventurer for this cache in an interesting part of town.

This area is definitely predestinated for CITO!
After having been there we needed a blood transfusion, because we were sucked out to the last drop by Mozzies.

An early morning start with mrsbiggles and the geohound was required to chase a few caches, especially if there is a first to find available. We had already picked up another cache (as a FTF) on our way to this one. On arrival at the GZ we found that Walter must have also been out of bed early and beaten us to this cache. Congratulations Walter. I guess we must have just missed meeting you at the GZ. The cache was well disguised. Thanks for the hide mrasuuieadventurer. SL TNLN
