Thanks Zork...surely is a lovely place to pause on my drive home after 6 days off!
Found this one years ago but never logged it, now that kids are old enough to join in we've been back in the hunt. Knowing exactly where this one is I gave my phone to the boy and sent him to lead the way. Only prompt I gave him was to think about where he would hide a cache, and he soon had it in his hands. Kids enjoyed the curious cows keeping a close eye on us too
Well worth the stop, what a beautiful spot. Liked the cache too- this gets a fav from me
We didn’t have tome to collect this one last time we were up this way so a quick stop with logical thinking credit to Mr as the gps had us about 10m away. Tftc
On the way back from Hamilton, calling in for a quick find. Cold wind blowing but a fine day. TFTC
Quick find on the great brigde. Well hidden. We say TFTC and greetings from Germany. Nice view for a poster.
Everytime I have driven past here, I have always wondered about this bridge. Lovely water running under the bridge. Quick find after some photos. Thanks very much Zork V for bringing me here.
A quick stop on our way to Tauranga for the holidays. Nice quick find here in a picturesque location. TFTC!
Very nice place to stop for a picture and a cache.
Soon in hand, log signed and replaced as found

Had to visit a weekend camp so picked this cool cache up easily.
Plenty of water in the stream after all the rain.

Once I saw who the CO was, I knew it would be a nice size cache in a sensible place. Parked up on the other side of the bridge and wandered along to GZ. Cache all good and thanks for the cache
First find look forward to more.. nice spot and cleaned up some unwanted litter
Enjoyed the stop and the walk acoss this bridge. I like the container. Thanks.

Very pretty area. Here with HennyGeo on holidays from Vancouver Island, BC, Canada in scenic New Zealand TFTC
Convinced KathyKaches to take a day off work and come caching with me...we spent the day collecting caches while driving from Tauranga to Hamilton (and stopping for coffees and treats along the way of course).
This was our last cache of the day coming back to TGA. What a lovely spot to end our caching adventures today. Thanks

This is a place that I'd probably never stop at otherwise - so thanks for locating the cache here. We managed to find this cache pretty quickly and it was a great spot to finish a really enjoyable day of caching with sarahbee20.
Zara, Etherlord and I are at last on our way home from the Turangi Mega. The trip back to Palmerston North will take three days!
Ngamuwahine? The female... somethings? What does mu mean? ... Move. The travelling women? That's the problem with Maori place names - they are descriptions, and shortened forms take them out of context
Signed as ZECATS - Zara, Etherlord Clan and the Seagnoid.

It took the Seagnoid and I three days to drive the ~250KM from Palmerston North to Turangi for the Mega.
I wonder how long it'll take us to drive back home given that our post-Mega road trip will be via Tauranga to collect the North Island's only remaining Webcam Cache!
Thanks for the hide, I was intrigued by the container. Do you know the origins of it?

Have been meaning to come to this one for ages, and today was the day. All compled without problems. Tftc.
Went over to Tauranga today for my grand-kids cross-country event. They were lucky with the weather. On way home decided to do some geocaching. This was a nice fine. I like that the container had MATCHES on it. I have seen large matchbox containers made of cardboard but not metal. SL. Needs a new plastic bag. TFTC.
Nice quick find on way home from a mammoth day of geocaching in the Waikato 150ish caches

1801 This was a first for me. Arrived after dark and was signing log when the fireworks started. Literally. Someone on the other side of the main road started lighting up the sky. So stood there and enjoyed.

On the mission today to make a joint milestone - finding my 4000th and Hari's 1000th - 5 left to go.
Liked the container here, well matched with the hiding place
Also, the river is very rocky on one side of the bridge and without rocks on the other - interesting.

Thanks for the cache!

#40 Out with LimmyB. and cam_777 on a caching trip to Tauranga. Three out of three so far for the day. Seen this bridge plenty of times while travelling over the hill. Very cool hide, took us two sweeps of the bridge to find it but well worth it.
Caching trip with camlia and cam_777 to Tauranga today. We walk both sides of the bridge a couple of times, had a think, bingo! Neat hide, something a bit different. TFTC
Tauranga day with Camlia and LimmyB. Found it. Neat cache, something different.Yay! Often seen this bridge from the main road. TFTC
We are heading off this afternoon to Mt Maunganui for a relaxed weeks holiday. On the way down from the Kaimais we stopped at Ngamuwahine to make the find on this cache. A lovely spot that we have visited before for the multi that once started nearby. Thanks.
Great to have a safe parking spot close by as grandson was keen to explore!. My phone decided to log out at the crucial moment so while I was waiting for it to reload I looked and put my hand on immediately! Thanks for your cache.
This is a wonderful area and worth the stop ...great little cache a nice quick drive by and find ...thanks for the cahe....I can remember when this bridge was the main highway and a dangerous windy piece of road ...its good now with the better bridge etc :):)
#11761. A lovely wee spot; well worth a short detour off a busy road. TFTC.
Today we leave Auckland and are headed to Mt Maunganui, not via SH2 on which we have travelled a few times in the last couple of weeks, but via the scenic route: Matamata and the Kaimai Ranges. Not a lot of caching opportunities along the way, but we were grateful for the caches we did find to break up the journey.
A very peaceful spot, in contrast with the busy road not so far away. Cool container, which didn't take long to track down. Last find of the day. TFTC.

Short stopp for a look at the river. Quick find! I like thw sticker in the lid of the cache! Greetings from Austria - fanti
Heading over the Kaimai range to attend a geocaching event in the hills above Whangamata. It's raining but WTH I haven't done a cache for a little while and this one is a Zork V who now resides in Taranaki, so with 5 FPs I just *had* to stop. Different container. Strikes me as a good spot to stop over for the night if one needed a free camp. TFTC Zork V
Lovely spot to pause on the drive back from Tauranga - looks like a nice swimming hole? TFTC
First stop of the day and first cache of the new year!! hope the rain holds off for our caching today. Cool view down into the water and goats up on the hills. Quick find of cache interesting container tftc .... Picked up tb
Nice easy find. Cache cammo neat and should last ages. Not seen a housing like that before. TFTC.
Nice quick find on way to Matamata from Tauranga football tournament over Labour Weekend. Angel TB in.

#7112. Parked off Ngamuwahine Road in Lower Kaimai for a short walk this morning. Great view of the Ngamuwahine River. GZ was all quiet when we visited. Quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

On the way back from a work trip to Tauranga and needed a leg stretch, a good excuse and an easy cache find
Passed this place many many times but never had an opportunity to stop.
