Out and about with Suscoe to tick off a few more local caches, before they had to head homeward down the Hume. While Mr S & P-P headed to Salisbury Falls, Mrs S & H-P stayed at The Entrance. We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, then did it all over again. When the Falls guys returned a PAF call was made, still no joy we're a tipp'n it's a miss'n.
FEEDBACK TO CO: Further information received after we left the area confirms that the cache has gone.
Thanks for the hunt anyway TheButtonBandits .

6594 + 822 = 7416. Found during a great weekend caching in Northern Victoria.
Continued on during my run today. After my first DNF at the last one I was happy to make a quick park and find at this one. I thought of going for the one in the park but I didnt have the time. Now off to the next one.
Thanks again TheButtonBandits!

Thanks TheButtonBandits

# 5894 Found while in Wang with Fred6603 for a stopover on the way to more events at Echuca.
Another perfect day for caching, wth a little sun and cloud and nice countryside.
GZ was about 8m away but found near the most likely spot.
Thanks for the cache TheButtonBandits,
Roostaman.

Third one for the day and was glad to be back at this walking track. Have been here several times in the past with my wife on our occasional get fit outings. Easy find. Almost parked on top of it. Tftc SL
Wangaratta Area 2013 with Mtrax. We did not go up to the falls and the cache id to us what it has done to many, but with persistence we eventually got it out of its spot. Thanks.

Day. 2. A geocaching weekend trip from Canberra to the Wangaratta area with Albida , The weather was warm and it was interesting driving around the area plenty of site to see.
This is one of those searches you search the obivous spot ones or twice and then don't consider that area any more , so after search the rest eventually when back the spot #1 and there it was just next door.

This and the nearby falls caches were the surprise caches of the day
I had detoured out along the back roads on the pushbike, headed for the nearby "Above Yet Below" cache.
I had just assumed that "The entrance" and "Welcome to Salisbury Falls" caches were hidden up on top of the Warbys [:o]
As I got to the turnoff it became apparent that I should look into these two TBB caches a bit closer
At the entrance I ignored the gate guard cache [:o]
I was off in hot pursuit of the Salisbury Falls cache
The gate guard could wait till I got back
Well about an hour and a half later, I did get back to the entrance [xx(]
The Falls escapade took a bit longer than expected on a really hot and humid day !!
When I got back and started looking for this cache, it took a lot longer than expected on a really hot and humid day [xx(]
A sit down in the shade and a read of some previous logs gave me an idea.
I wandered back to the really obvious place and looked again.
This time in the not quite so obvious place I had not looked in properly last look
Yup!! There was the cache !!
This heat is mucking up me caching senses big time
OK !! Off to find the next cache [:o)]

A days' riding in the Warby's with Bettyboo3747, finishing up in Wang.
So close of the first look (like others) but found on the second.
We did go for the walk into the park today.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 2850. After riding and walking to caches in the Warby Ranges earlier in the day we now had chewinprickles on board for a few more. We stopped by this one on the way to Salisbury Falls. Rob went to the obvious spot but it took him a couple of looks to find it. TFTC
Looked once - no cache. Looked a second time (obviously looked better) and cache was found! Thanks.
This was, cache # 21 of 85 finds for the day in the Company of Trailrunning. Had to phone a friend on this one the coordinates were pointing else where. My thanks to The Button Bandits for the cache.
After a great Christmas at home with the kids, the girlfriend and I headed up to her sister's place in Lima. After a few windy and hot days up there I get a call from my fellow The Demolition Crew team member RebelActs who syas he'll be visiting the area with CrazyNatGirl! We decide to plan a day of caching in the Wangaratta area, and hit the easy drive-by's. I'm so sorry for the generic log, but given I'm over 200 logs behind (no internet or pc for the last few weeks) this is all I can manage. Thanks to all the CO's and their efforts.
Found by Mary & David at 1545. Beautiful gardens nearby. Thrilled to see so many native plants and trees were used. Incredible sounds of bird life all around. Missed the cache on the first pass, like several visitors before us, only to find it close by soon after. Our thanks to TheButtonBandits.
Like Chewinprickles before me I looked into what I thought was a great hiding spot to no avail. Well it was a great spot, but the cache wasn't there. A short while later I found it about 2" away! Perhaps it is actually supposed to be in the other spot?
Arrived here in the dark despite daylight saving, the days still have some lengthening to do, and thought it shouldn't be too hard. Searched for a while to no avail so clicked the DNF button and decided to head to the cache at the falls. Perhaps not a great idea considering it was dark and I was alone. DNF'd that one too but mainly because of the terrain and the lack of light and realizing I might spent the night here if I got injured etc. Coming back I thought I'd have another look around and lo and behold I spotted it, not more then 50mm from a spot I'd checked two or three times. I suspect you didn't intend to make this a tricky hide but it is a bit.
Thanks indeed BBandits

Geomum over looked this one and Geoson found it thanks for bringing us to this place we didn't know about
I was confess that I am extremely embarrassed to have to log a DNF on a 1/1 cache. Extremely. Embarrassed. Try as we might, Wilbert67 and I could not turn up the cache anywhere. If it is there then it must have been starring us in the faces, mocking us!
Alas, this one will have to be erased from my memory
Alas, this one will have to be erased from my memory
Shame, shame, my first ever dnf on a 1/1 cache!! The GPS had us all over the place but in the end wanted us close to the high fence on the left away from the trail entrance? Hoojar had no luck either.

We pulled up at the end of the road and a owl landed in the tree right in front of us. Pretty cool was not scared of us. TFTC.
One of 43 finds for the day, on a days caching with two of my kiddies, 4yo Marindah and 3yo Natasha in the Wangaratta area. Caching "Solo" today, no other members of the TDC "The Demolition Crew" being myself, Quasar3671 and TrailRunning, with me. Have not cached this way for a little while, and the number of unfound caches has been creeping up, so time to do something about it. Today was the day....!
Had a bit of trouble locating this initially, but got there in the end. Caching blindness.... TFTC. Also saw the vehicle of "Bogonghazy and Sully1" in the carpark here. Hi guys....!

Found today with Sully1 on our day of caching Wang and surrounds.
This one took a while as it's position is just that little bit different than expected, for us anyway.
Thanks TBB's for bringing us to one of your favorite places, that's what I love about caching

One of 57 caches for the day along with bogonghazy on a Wangaratta Wizz Around. Another of your many hides we did today. Bogonghazy eventually yelled the magic words, as the GPS'r had me all over the place. Thanks for this one also.
Found in the company of friends - Haveanez, on a chilly Saturdays night drive of the Wang area.
Been to this spot a few times before for various caches over the years. Coords not bad at this cache, Big Ez located it quick smart.
TNLN, Cheers.

Found whilst out and about with DazRascal in the Wang area tonight.
No-one in sight which made for a quick find under torchlight at GZ.
Many thanks for the cache.
Will be back in this area for a cache further into the bush another time.
Cheers. TNLN SL.

Haha just got back to the car from Salisbury Falls and noticed that I was only 2m from this cache ... TFTC Buttons
#2644 Our second last cache for the afternoon as it was getting on and we still wanted to walk into Salisbury Falls. Quite a few trails in the lush long grass & with the GPS bouncing around a little we added to the tracks before locating the stash. Thanks once again TBB's for your caches and the places you have taken us, many of which we didn't know existed till today (which is what we love about caching!). With a few more of your caches that have popped up this evening and unfinished business with the DNF....we'll be back....
Found on our way home from Devenish. Haven't walked the Salisbury Track as yet - might leave it until the weather improves! SL at 5pm after a short search. Mrs Harrowang took the honours here. TNLN TFTC The Button Bandits #1090

I'll apologise in advance for all of these logs being the same, but this evening was a bit of a blur and I honestly don't expect I could differentiate one hide from the next!
After returning from Melbourne this afternoon I was peacefully resting on the couch when the first notification email arrived. Realising it was in town I nicked out to grab it. By the time I'd arrived at the first GZ, 6 other emails had arrived. It appeared that I was going to be out for a while
I found each hide in due course. Some were as expected, some not so much - and quite clever.
My little turbo run of 6 FTF's tonight has taken me to 799 finds! If no one gets your #2 cache before tomorrow morning, it'll be FTF #7 and find #800 for me
Thanks for the caches - I look forward to many more!
