Suscoe had a delightful day out in the Wangaratta, Glenrowan, Winton and Benalla area today enjoying the caches placed and the varying country side.
Today was a very warm day and we certainly appreciated some gentle breezes from time to time. however the sunshine was fairly intense from time to time.
This was our 12th find of the day
All was fairly quiet here.
Cache found and log signed.
Thanks to TheButtonBandits for placing this cache here.

Find #27. Nice quick easy drive by on the way back into town after an eventful day's caching in the Warby's. TFTC
TFTC - nice easy drive by. Log a bit wet and the container was spread everywhere, put it all back together and ready to go
With a cache name like 'Moo' this cache was hard to resist. It was damp though and could have a bit more TLC. TFTC
On a quest to find the caches to the Grand View we came to this one first, nice easy find. The moos were at the far end of the paddock so we could not see what type they were. The log was very damp so I replaced the ziplock bag it was in
[:(!] Spending the weekend in Albury with my geoson and his geofamily and what better way of spending the day but to do a caching run and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

Another perfect day for caching, wth a little sun and cloud and nice countryside.
A quick stop and find here and then on to the next one. GZ was about 15m away.

We actually lived in Wangaratta before geo caching was born. It is very interesting to return now and see the area from a totally different perspective. Satellites today had our GZ 13m SSW of where we found the cache.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt TheButtonBandits.

Looking around it what stood out to us and then the hint that guided us to the quick find. The coords are quite a few meters out. T4TC
Wangaratta Area 2013 with Mtrax. As we moved around the outskirts of town we gathered caches as we went. It was good to see the farmland and the cattle all looking pretty good this year. Thanks.

I was driving north this afternoon, ignoring all the unfound caches around me.
I needed to find somewhere to stay the night [:o]
But as this cache symbol drifted past me I could not resist stopping.
Well when you see a hiding place this obvious, this large, this dramatic !!... on the side of the road, why wouldn't you stop ?
No cows seen though [:o]
Mooo!!

A days' riding in the Warby's with Bettyboo3747, finishing up in Wang.
A half a dozen cows stood of the fence and watched us find and sign the cache. Not particularly interested, I guess they had seen it all before.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 2847. Making a concerted attack on some Warby Range caches today, riding and walking with Robmc. Back down at ground level and heading to another area of the Warbies. Stopped for this one on the way past. There were a few young beasties standing in the shade and they sure weren't moving. A quick look in an obvious spot and we were soon on our way. The GPS was reading 12 metres out here.
Lucky last of the day. No bull here today but quite a few cows that were interesting in what I was up to.
A nice easy find, while visiting the area.
Good hide. Thanks for the cache, TheButtonBandits

This was, cache # 24 of 85 finds for the day in the Company of Trailrunning. No trouble finding this one, did not really notice any cows. My thanks to The Button Bandits for the cache.
After a great Christmas at home with the kids, the girlfriend and I headed up to her sister's place in Lima. After a few windy and hot days up there I get a call from my fellow The Demolition Crew team member RebelActs who syas he'll be visiting the area with CrazyNatGirl! We decide to plan a day of caching in the Wangaratta area, and hit the easy drive-by's. I'm so sorry for the generic log, but given I'm over 200 logs behind (no internet or pc for the last few weeks) this is all I can manage. Thanks to all the CO's and their efforts.
A quick find @ 17:00 on a great day out caching in the company of the geowife, emeraldflame and Paul the Hippy, under the watchful eyes of some inquisitive cows. This was number 44 of 51 for the day.

Found easily enough today, thansk The Button Bandits. There were some strange clouds in the sky and sure enough, a bit later it drizzled, but only a little.
Quick find after a detour due to water over the road. No bulls today thankfully, as I find them quite scary! Thanks for the cache.
Approached this from the north-no go as the road was underwater an
D the road being narrow made turning a tricky task. Later tried from the south with a similar result.
Not so much a did not find as denied access. Will try again when the country has dried out

Not quite dark when I lobbed here but close. Didn't notice any Moo's either but I did seem to get a bark happening at the closest house.
Thanks again Button Bandits. Slowly picking off a few of yours.

allthough my gps had started to do crazy things, this was a quick easy find, unfortunately didnt get to have a chat with the moo's as they werent neaby:-( sl tsls tftc
Like this one. The cows really like to have a chat around these parts and it just makes it fun. Quick find in a well marked location. TFTC SL
Found on our caching stint around the area. Few moos in the nearby paddock looking to see what we were up to
An Epic trip from Mildura to Mount Beauty. We collected 54 caches for the day. We traveled many side roads, saw many sights, experienced many interesting caches and areas, and the trip took about 18 hours.
Mrs Harrowang had been out visiting her mother at St John's Village and decided to make this find on her way home. The cows were quite interesting in the paddock over yonder, but they were not interested in her. She was more worried about the barking dog further along the road, who seemed hell bent on making her presence known to all and sundry! SL at 5.01pm TNLN (forgot the swaps LOL) #1172 TFTC TBB's
We headed out to Wangaratta for our first time geocaching in the area.
We were really impressed with the number of geocaches around for us to find.
Had our record day of finds of 41 finds.
We really appreciated all the hides the local cachers have done in the town.
Thanks TheButtonBandits for a nice easy find here.

One of 43 finds for the day, on a days caching with two of my kiddies, 4yo Marindah and 3yo Natasha in the Wangaratta area. Caching "Solo" today, no other members of the TDC "The Demolition Crew" being myself, Quasar3671 and TrailRunning, with me. Have not cached this way for a little while, and the number of unfound caches has been creeping up, so time to do something about it. Today was the day....!
Easy driveby here, kids waited in the car. TFTC.

Out and about in the Wang area tonight doing a run with DazRascal.
A nice park and grab here with the cache in the likely spot made for a quick find.
We signed the log and replaced quickly as there was an angry dog continuously barking in the distance.
TFTC. Cheers.

#2642 Our GPSr's continued to play funny buggars today, perhaps it was getting too chilly. We had to wait for some cyclists to go past before we located the cache in a likely place. An area of Wang that we've not had reason to come so thanks for bringing us through on our extended trip to Yarra. Thanks again TBB's, cheers

I'll apologise in advance for all of these logs being the same, but this evening was a bit of a blur and I honestly don't expect I could differentiate one hide from the next!
After returning from Melbourne this afternoon I was peacefully resting on the couch when the first notification email arrived. Realising it was in town I nicked out to grab it. By the time I'd arrived at the first GZ, 6 other emails had arrived. It appeared that I was going to be out for a while
I found each hide in due course. Some were as expected, some not so much - and quite clever.
My little turbo run of 6 FTF's tonight has taken me to 799 finds! If no one gets your #2 cache before tomorrow morning, it'll be FTF #7 and find #800 for me
Thanks for the caches - I look forward to many more!
