Out for the day from St Arnaud to Wedderburn via the back roads and returned along the bitumen, found a variety of caches most fairly easily whilst others took a few minutes.

Easy find. No logbook when found. Found a scrap of paper on the ground and used that to sign the log. TFTC
The old blokes sure know how to hide caches well - great camo here - thanks for the excellent planning and implementation. Nice to see the Old cottage, too
TFTC the old blokes and for bringing us here to see it - much appreciated.

Spending a family day out & about cache finding. Quick find by geokid. Had a quick look at the old cottage, amazing!

Just following our gps this morning grabbing a few caches around town and we ended up here at the gz checking out this quaint little cottage. After a little wandering around and reading up on the history of this place we went for a short look and soon came up with the cache. Thanks the old blokes for highlighting this little piece of local history and the hide.
Quick find here. Probably helped that the camouflage had come adrift and the cache container was exposed. Put it back together after signing the log. TFTC
Flowers were on the ground. Made it an easy find. All replaced to the way it should be. TFTC.

As I was staying at this caravan park I could leave without having a look for this one.
I came back down to the front of the park, there were a few campers that were camping close by to the cottage but as it turned out they were fellow geocaches so I ended up having a bit of an audience when I eventually went over for a look, lucky for me I was able to find it quickly.
**Thanks to the old blokes for placing this cache.**

18/02/2017 - 4.37pm - No. 857 - 12th of 17 finds & 1 dnf for the day - with Surefoot24 & Darren on a Geocaching weekend to attend the weekends 9 month to event event & find others while in the area & with additional caching partner of jtnsilo .
We decided we would head back into town rather than the outskirts & this cache was the next nearest to our previous find. An interesting location & after a quick look at where it wasn't the cache was found. It's interesting the things your mind discounts sometimes even when you look at something it should be. Signed, sealed & returned to it's home. After a bit of tourist type stuff which included cameras we headed back to the car & off we headed. Thanks for the cache & brining us to this bit of history

I'd tried this one earlier but the GPS was jumping all over the place then. I'd actually had my hand on GZ but the mind says no. A lovely story about Nancy Stokes and kind hearted local people. thanks for the cache placement here. I came back with surefoot24 and after pointing out the snail tree and looking at the cottage, I took time this time to actually read the sign that I'd taken a photo of and we then had the cache this time round and I had to smile that I'd been oh so close.a fav point for this one too, you old blokes are so clever.
TFTC. We enjoy the local history and stories that make up a town. This is a great story and an great restoration. Found the cache after admiring the cottage.
After caching around the St Arnaund area for three days it was time to head home, I had heard there were some quality caches over at Wedderburn so I decided to head that way before making my way home, it was a little tricky caching with the van in tow but I manged to grab quiet a few quality cahes. Thanks the old blokes for the cache.
A quick find of this cute hide. Didn't spot the "trees" - they must be further into the park I think but did photograph the snail tree! Thanks for a great time here. Sorry I didn't get to do all your caches. Cache #2530.
TFTC! I was on A walk with Geobutterfly79, Muggle Brother and Muggle friend, and thought to go find this Cache. I love looking inside Nancy stokes cottage. Great Cache!! TNLN
A wick find then on to the next adventure. No shoes today I remember next time here

A great day heading from home to Wedderburn then via several towns I'd never heard of to finish our caching day in Maldon before meeting up with my Aunty in Newstead to go to Melbourne. A huge long day but lots of fun!
becca85, neisha07 & I cached our way around with GemmaSistema and the boys finding some awesome caches in great spots. TFTC!

I traveled over to Wedderburn nice and early with becca85 & neisha07 to fit in as many caches as we could before we had to head to Melbourne. We met up with GemmaSistema and the boys and had a very fun afternoon getting very muddy and catching up with friends at the event.
We had an awesome day, wish we could have stayed for dinner. Next year!

Day 2 of the roadtrip with GoodLook and CPwanderer started with attending the A Day Out in Wedderburn event and ended with us attending the A Day Out in Wedderburn. The Evening Meal event In between that, I found 10 caches and we had a great day catching up with lots of other teams in the field or at the events
We had a ball and found some great caches and I finally got to do the multi in the middle of Wedderburn instead of having to drive past as usually happens[^]
Unless mentioned otherwise, please know that your cache and log book was in good condition.
What a fantastic site
Even better that the door was open and so I got to step inside and take some photos while enjoying the ambience
I must admit that the photos got taken before I even looked for the cache!
Cache found and cottage enjoyed again [^]

What a quaint cottage! Loved the story of the tenderhearted young boy and the story behind the building of this cottage! TFTC
This was our starting point for the day and a nice easy find. Unfortunately we missed the novelty trees as we were all keen to head off and had not read the description. Will have to re-visit!
With the old blokes awesome annual event this weekend, we made sure to make the trip over from Maryborough.
boo09, neisha07 & myself met up with GemmaSistema & co, forming Team Clarmensma and headed off for a morning caching.
Mud. So much mud! There were a few tentative maneuvers to get my low XR6 where I wanted it to be. Twice we failed and were thankful for fellow Geocachers letting us jump in the back of their 4x4.
After a fun lunchtime event, we had to head to an event in Melbourne via Newstead.
We travelled down to Logan, then over past the Melville caves before heading down to Arnold where we said Goodbye to the other half of Team Clarmensma and continued on to Maldon then Newstead.
A great day was had and we look forward to coming back in a hardier vehicle to grab some more we missed! TFTC!

Found with locuscache and Goodlook on a weekend in Victoria. The main aim of the trip was to attend the Old Blokes events in Wedderburn and to grab as many of the caches in the area. We also found quite a few on the way there and the way home and had some “interesting” experiences 4WD ing on some back tracks! Loved the cottage ................ and the cute hide!!
What a fascinating spot, and such a CUTE cache! Locus discovered that the cottage door was actually open and was able to go in and look around - gotta love history!!
Day 2 of 3 - Found whilst on a road trip with CPwanderer and Locus Cache from Adelaide to Wedderburn, Victoria. The aim of the trip was to attend "A Day Out in Wedderburn 2016" all day caching event (TICK [^] ) and then enjoy the Evening Meal event (TICK [^] ).
During this weekend we found some fun and creative caches and caught up with our Victorian geofriends once again.
The funny one-liner comments flowed all weekend and my belly hurt from all of the laughter!! [:o)] [^].
Unfortunately we had a minor car accident last night whilst traveling to Wedderburn [B)] - lost control of the vehicle (fortunately we were traveling very slowly) and we got bogged on a wet and slippery Victorian country dirt road [xx(]...ummmm.....at the time we may have been heading toward a possible gold which we missed , however we did eventually get out of the mud after a long wait and exchanging a fair bit of cash [:(!].
I LOVE geocaching [:X], but I HATE mud [:(!]!! LOL
Thanks for the cache

While settling into our accommodation we had to sneak in a cache seeing it was literally a stones throw away. After reading the interesting notes and inspecting the hut we made the easy find and added our name to the log.
Thanks the old blokes for placing one so close.

Cool old building in a lovely town packed full of caches. Loved our day here and the cache
Sean.75, kenare, Jenno3 and myself hit Wedderburn today and had a ball. I really enjoyed the hunts and laughs that we all had. I love that geocaching takes us to places that we wouldn't even know about! tftc
Quick, wasy find! Cute camouflage. Intersting history of cottage. Found with emthegem. Tftc.
Travelling around Australia with our Cat.
Staying a few days in St Arnaud, today we decided to head back up towards Wedderburn and find some more caches.
Pretty cold today with a minus 2degrees start and only 0.4 at 9am. Didn't deter us though a great day out touring.
What an awesome piece of history. a fave point from us. Mrs Felix spied the cache without the GPSr but oh so glad you brought us here. Fave point awarded.
Thanks for placing your cache to assist with our touring of the area, and feeding our geoaddiction. the old blokes

I didn't use any imagination when trying to find this cache. I passed it half a dozen times and still didn't cotton on, I am dumb at times! Thanks guys again.
Time to do only a couple of caches in town before heading home. Stopped by the caravan park to say goodbye to some friends and as this was only 100metres away, I couldn't miss the opportunity. Great to see the community caring for these old buildings.
Thanks the old blokes for all your efforts for placing caches for us to find and for organising two great events.

Very interesting history of the cottage and in our very own caravan park! Found while at the 2015 Wedderburn Gathering. Thanks old blokes.
Found with LouiseAnn. A neat spot. Is this where everyone else is staying? Quick find. Tftc
Loved this little cottage and the history attached.
Makes you realise how extravagantly we live these days and all the luxuries we take for granted.
You could not miss this cache , it was a standout.
We were staying at this caravan park to attend the 2 events today.

After a day of caching in Wedderburn with my two geokids (aged 4 & 6) we ended up back here in our cabin. I had deliberately left this cache aside after knowing the night cache may be to much for them (and they were knackered after dinner anyway). So when we returned I told them of the special night cache in the caravan park. We were told to look for police like lights x 3 (bright fairy lights on caravans), then walk past 3 x street lamps which took us to the cottage, then to look for 3 x different coloured flowers. The cache was then soon in hand and signed by torchlight. We then headed back in the dark with the torches showing us the way. Many thanks for placing one here so my kids could have a special night cache just for them!
We were quick to spot this one. A nice camo.
Caching this afternoon with McLookers and Tigersden.

Having had a great lunch, we headed out to explore the other caches in the area. What a cute little cottage. It's a cute little hide as well. We picked this cache up at 2:32pm.
Sharkiefan and I decided to head north and checkout the Old Blokes weekend in Wedderburn. We'd heard a lot about it and we weren't disappointed. We had a great weekend and caught up with heaps of people, oh and we found a few caches, of which this was one. Thanks for the cache the old blokes!

Seeing as we are staying here we thought we had better find this one an interesting place TFTC
Great little cottage looks bigger from the outside then inside so small what a great cache and a very sneaky hide tftc
Spent a lovely day roaming the back streets and bush tracks of wedderburn, thanks to the "old blokes" for the effort you have put into your caches, made for a very interesting day exploring unknown areas , loved this old cottage, took me back to a bygone era. TFTC
Staying at the Wedderburn caravan park for 2 nights, to cache in the area.
Went for an afternoon drive, when the heat of the day eased off.
Arrived back at the caravan park, and checked out the old cottage before happy hour started.
Many thanks for placing this cache, the old blokes, for us and others to find.

Oh dear !! [:o]
As soon as I rocked into GZ I knew that I had been here before
It still looks the same as I remember it
So I took another peek inside and saw the spartan conditions.
Nice hut
This time around, something was different !!
The owners of the carapark were not at home
So I wandered over to check out something in the scenery that caught me eye,
and found me a cache
Ha, ha, ha, ha !!
That's a good'un

Are you sure the was hidden by the Old Blokes, geez, too easy. Nice hut and history, maybe you should put a call-out for shoes and records for the April Event.

This was a great caching experience. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of an unusual and very well constructed cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks the old blokes for a great cache - earns afavourite from us.
Great spot. Park owners so friendly. Worth a look around. They've done some great stuff here. TFTC
We had been in and out of the caravan park a few times over the weekend and did not see this tiny little cottage, thanks old blokes for bringing us here. My turn to find the cache this time and I laughed out loud when I saw the incongruity of the cache, in fact it still puts a smile on my face as I write this, I so love your warped sense of humour. I'm uncertain whether to give you the favourite point for the cache, bringing us to see the cottage, or your weird sense of wackiness! Whatever you have certainly earned it!
