We are spending a few days in Coffs Harbour with family and took the opportunity to pick up some more caches around the area today, along with ilook4geo. After each log had two more names added, all was replaced as it had been found to await the next cacher.
We came here and just stood and gazed intently until something a tiny bit different was spotted. Aha! Log was carefully removed with tweezers for signing.
Thanks go to earthly65 and robbieracer66 for this cache placement and for the hunt. Favourite point given for the careful construction.

Visiting family in Coffs with goingplaces2 and wanting to add some yellow smileys to the map. Enjoyed the hunt, signed logs and had a good day. This cache was one of the finds. A lovely sneaky little hide too. TFTC.
called in here after recorded dnfs...only two finds since i replaced this cache last...found cache broken..only housing remained....cache replaced today...again...this cache is a "log only" remove and sign...log extraction tool provided inside cache but u might want to take along some tweezers anyway...please be gentle..these caches take time to make..and i am happy to make them...not so often tho
i note dnfs and i will check on cache but cache is not on seat...it would be the assumed hiding place but coords do not lead to the seat
wow!!..really...a cacher requests a cache be archived..depriving other cachers of the opportunity too seek the cache merely because they had to put a piece of paper in it...the cache IS there...I guess not all cachers are considerate of CO efforts and would..clearly..rather whinge about condition of the cache and do nothing themselves...we..and frankly most cachers we know...carry spare containers..logs etc..supporting eachother and keeping caches in play...fact is here tho..that this cache IS in action and if we didnt regularly replace the cache it simply would not be there at all...it is very fragile..and cachers may be a bit rough with it..we do maintenance more often than we remember to log and even tho its a bit of a pain really..cachers have enjoyed this type of cache so we keep making them..perhaps cachers who can make the effort to request a cache should be archived could better utilise those efforts in a nicer way..after all a CO has gone to effort for others enjoyment..we replace caches and logs wherever we go caching..caching community minded!..we will replace cache soon
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.

We had to squeeze in some caching this morning before family lunch and afternoon visitors, so we plotted a course out along Coffs Creek and into town, managing a dozen finds with a trio of GCA caches thrown in.
We found the cache - the camo and the container within, but the container's lid is MIA, as is the log. I signed inside the container as best I could, and have a photo if it is requested. This cache needs maintenance, as was requested a while back it seems..... Thanks.

Found where it was but not sure whether the plastic was supposed to come out or not. Didn't want to break it so we just left it
Lost lid when tried to open it at night time, spent time searching for it but covered it with a leaf and or still works.
Got the log ready to replace, just was unable to get to it as had to go get paper but couldn't get back to it. I will have to replace during my work break tomorrow.
Found 23/1/19 Signed Log.
Not much room to sign, will replace with more paper asap.
Nice hide , would not expect to see one there. TFTC.

we read a few past logs and decided what sort of container we were looking for and soon spotted the prize, pity there was no log to sign but we did find the lid so replaced all back in readiness for the next finder. great cache, fav point from me today.
We found the cache in pieces with no log. Replaced log and put cache back together.

Didn't find the cache that time after 10 minutes of searching. Maybe it is not there anymore or we just did not find it.
Another one on our trip to Gold Coast to see our daughter. Hopefully many more to come.
Before leaving Coffs and heading north we decided to collect a few smilies around town. The hint was very helpful and made for a very quick find. Thanks.
14 June 2018 Thanks for the cache! We found the container - very nice camo!
The log paper is gone (due to heavy rain).
This would need some maintenance!

Found with Key_Tat and Viper_101... after a little search we soon had the cache in hand... may steal this idea for Port Mac.. TFTC.
Log on ground not in its nutty container. I fashioned a replacement and hung it up. May need checking. Thanks.
TFTC spotted this one quickly but took a while to retrieve and replace due to muggles -
In Coffs Harbour on the way south to Canberra and out for a walk to the coffee shop. I decided to stop and take a look at this one and finally realised what I was looking for. Took a moment to retrieve the log without affecting the container but got there in the end.

Found with good hint and info in previous logs. It was still on the ground. Can see where it used to be. TFTC.
Obviously it should be stuck somewhere, but I found it on the ground. Very nice camo! I've tucked it under some bushes for now.
The camo was loose and just sitting amonst the rest, the log is damp and there are large ants guarding the cache.
TFTC, quick find only after reading hint and prev logs. A fav point to follow for the clever hide.
Tftf Its my birthday cache day!!! Last year in my 20's!! Shezzie, zoe, poppy pete t, c and L
Walking from the harbour into the town and called in for this cache, but unfortunately after searching unsuccessfully for the obligatory 10 minutes we decided to move on ....................

We Moved from Woolgoolga into Coffs Harbour today. After setting up camp in the caravan park we headed out to find some of the local caches. This gave us a small tiki tour of your city.
This must have been the third time we have searched for this cache. I can't believe it has only a D2.
I think the tree has had a prune which limited the search area. It was as we expected & worthy of a favourite point.
Frustration finally over.
Thanks for placing this cache earthly65

found this today with jasclo and coinman dyl. I managed to beat everyone to the find. my favourite cache so far! thanks
Brilliant hide! Didnt have a pen with us so will go back this evening and add our names.
Found it...but might have broken trying to remove log, will have it back tomorrow evening so just note it will be out of action until I replace, will glue container back in and place it exactly as it was. So so sorry especially since tomorrow will have dawn service and Anzac commemorations...whoops but will fix as it was our fault but I really liked the find so will give a favourite point
Loved this one,
We had found it in the past, before we knew how to log it online, workers cut the tree and apparently it didn't count as a geocache any more.
We were walking past and thought we might have a look and sure enough, there in was, as tiny as ever.
Great hiding spot,

We tried to get this one before and then noticed it was out of action. Saw that it was back up and running again, so thought we would try again today.
We had some idea of where it might be it was just a matter of finding the right one and today we found the right one. Signed logged and got another smily face.

Checked on this cache after spotting a dnf....sadly this cache has gone missing after garden maintenance....sorry sharkfamily....will replace asap
Myself and three kiddos couldn't find it today, hopefully it wasn't lost with recent pruning.....
We check on this one more regularly now with its past reputation of going AWOL...fresh log still in place...GZ is just gorgeous atm...worth a visit to see it,...happy caching!
