Yes it's definitely gone. The timber remains of the deck were still here two weeks ago but have now been totally removed. There will not be one here again any time soon. So the only possibility is to archive this one now.

The last 2 days a storm swept across the Gold Coast and Brisbane, dropping a lot of rain. We stayed safely in Brisbane and restarted our holiday today. This is our second search today and gave us the opportunity to check the damage of the storm.
The cache didn't survive? We didn't look to long!
Greetings from the Netherlands.

Updating the log, as I had an issue trying to upload it from GSAK.
StepahnieK and I had dropped half of the family off at a dance competition and set off for a fun day of caching. While I took a seat to relax, she popped around and located the hide. Thanks for the cache.

On a Sunday finding a car park is by far the hardest part. Once that was achieved it was a very pleasant 270m walk to the cache. Ms M made the find while Mr M tried to look like a tourist.

My, my, many, many mighty Miami muggles meandering meaninglessly!

So yes, the area was busy today. Getting a parking space in itself should be counted as a find. I trotted towards GZ amidst many beachgoing muggles, reading the cache page as I went, I wanted this to be as easy an affair as possible. Feeling I had a good starting point, I hung around GZ like a bad smell, waiting for an appropriate break in the muggles. I didn't have to wait long and headed to the spot, a quick glance I spied something likely. I ninja'd in and yes cache, grab and retrieve. I stood around, signing the logbook, taking in the beach-y atmosphere. Another break was forthcoming and the cache replaced as found. Gee, a bit of a mission, but an interesting cache today. Found @ 1:00pm while at the Gold Coast to attend the Pan Pacific Masters games

Had a break between games at Pizzey Park so thought I'd go for a short caching ride, this was the 2nd of three found today.

Found the logical spot early but dismissed it when I didn't see the cache straightaway. After 5 minutes or so I returned to the logical spot and searched a little harder (d'oh). I grabbed Tim's Bug and left a pathtag.

Thanks for the cache bristracker

After reassessing the information, the cache was found quite easy Wink Thanks - Found with JJBoards.

Some doubt existed as to whether this cache was still in place considering the recent boardwalk reconstruction. Not found and no onsite log entries since early September.
We are pleased to advise IT'S STILL THERE and and in good dry condition. Replaced carefully after signing log.

Nice view and a pleasant outlook to sit and watch the world go by. This one is time consuming due to the muggle activity in the area. Sometimes you have to drink a lot of water while you wait.. TNLN TFTC Smile

Gave this a miss today. The boardwalk is under construction and is taped off. Many plenty muggles on the beach made it too hard to approach from that side :-/

this cache was hidden but was difficult to retrieve and place back, because of all the muggles.

39th find of 69 found in during the week of my holidays on the Gold Coast. Big Grin

Out today to clear the Southern area from accommodation. OK, coffee in one hand, dew on the ground still (not good, sand in the car[:(!]), and a cache quickly in the other as a gap in muggle traffic opened up. NOICE!

Thanks for placing this cache, bristracker. Found in good condition.

I had the whole day free and the perfect opportunity to do my favourite game and to go for the goal of our 500th find by the end of the day. The target "Paradise Tranquility".

It was a good day today as the muggle saturation level was down, there were an elderly couple at GZ as I approached but just moved on as I got to the board walk.

The hint wasn't necessary for this one but something in the description gave it away anyway.

Another bristracker to the smileys list but she just keeps on puting more out there so it's hard to catch up.

Thanks Bristracker TFTC SL TNLN

We were out for a walk with our daughter and her friend enjoying this glorious winter's day so we decided to stop and find this cache. There were muggles near GZ but they were busy admiring the view as Mr. Herbz got into the appropriate position for this one. Cache was discreetly located and signed and we were on our way before anyone noticed. TFTC

Surprisingly there wasn't anyone nearby, so I took the cache to a seat to sign the log. As I sat, a person came and stood on the deck and I was unable to put the cache back! He stood there watching the surf for 5 mins... then he sat down!! I really needed to get home and didn't know how long this guy needed to look at the sea. I waited another 5 mins (felt like 50!) and he left. I replaced the cache quickly and departed! No TB inside. TFTC

On a trip to the Gold Coast to watch the daughter run in the Marathon and thought we would find some caches too. Thought I had an idea where this one was and could see it but to get to it was a tad difficult. Oh no, I dropped my pen and just had to go and get it......oh look a cache!!

One hour Sad It took one hour for those flamin' muggles to leave. They were literally perched on top of the top cache Sad

They finished their coffee.. but no.. they still sat there. WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING?? Twisted Did I tell you how much I love muggles? Razz I had the same problem at the last cache with muggles - for the same aount of time Sad

Finally, they left. I swooped in - quick like. Sure enough I found the cache right where they had been. The cache was in good condition. I am very glad to have gotten this one - and glad I persevered. A very nice area - nice enough to spend an hour apparently! Razz TFTC Bristracker Smile

I headed to Miami after work for a spot of cache maintenance on "Paradise Series - Scribbly Gum" (the missing cache was not missing but that's another log entry) so I grabbed this new cache on the way.

It was getting dark so I busted out the dorky cap with built in LED lights for a bit of a stealthy search around the area. Lots of muggles jogging past but they weren't too concerned about some dork in a LED cap mucking around in the sand.

I love that fact that the locals wanted to walk their dogs on the beach so they just ripped out the "no dogs" sign and hid it under the deck.

After re-reading the description I got the clue I needed and re-looked in a spot I thought I had already checked out..... and the cache was found.

Thanks for the cache BT. Nice spot.

I dropped off the Soprano Geocoin.

Three hours after it was published we were Big Grin FTF Big Grin at 9:03am. Bristracker has such a way with words we are really enjoying this series. This place was muggle central this morning and I considered myself extremely lucky to be able to get the very last parking space within hundreds of metres. Dropping the glasses, and needing to get them, proved to be a handy help to retrieve the cache. Thanks for the new cache Bristracker. What a picture the beach was this morning in this glorious autumn sunshine. Too bad I was so distracted - I should have taken a photo. Next time. TNLNSL.
