Out for a Saturday afternoon drive checking out Riverlea Estate. Then muggle hubby thought we could do a little caching. I was more than happy with that suggestion. Was a tad dusty today. Certainly need a rain. Had the company of 2 kangaroos who kept ahead of us for quite a while. Tftc

We saw a message on Facebook asking if there was anyone out there interested in finding the caches in the following geoart, It's A Small World, Magical Unicorns and the PSA. We put our hand up and were the lucky team who OzGuff decided he would like to cache with. These geoart have been on our to do list for quite some time. Hubby has have done a few of the PSA in 2013 on his trip to pick me up from the Nullarbor Roadhouse where I had been working the other few were completed on a trip home from a JLWE in 2016.The day before we had arrived in Adelaide from a break on Kangaroo Island and with a last minute change to our plans we choose to stay in Adelaide instead of returning to Victoria, thankfully Graeme was up for this. We made plans that we would pick him up at 5.30am which had us arriving and signing our first cache at 6.30am. This set the tone for the rest of the day, most of the caches were found quickly, if maintenance was needed we did this, a couple of containers were replaced that had suffered UV damage.We also found a couple of other caches that we could not drive by and were on the roads that we travelled on. Once finished these we popped into Dublin to complete the AL here. Thank you OzGuff for sharing this day with us we had a wonderful time and would do it all over again with you. SL TFTC

What a day! I headed out very early this morning with the muff1 duo in search of South Australian premiers, geographical locations all over the world, and unicorns. Our first find occurred at about 6:30am. And eight hours later we had found all 188 geocaches in the above three geoart series plus three more random caches. And we hit five AL stages in Dublin as we headed back Adelaide. 191 is now my record for finds in 24 hours.[Kudos to muff1 for revisiting 20+ caches from the PSA series just for me.]We had a great day! No DNFs, and we performed a little maintenance as needed. I signed as OZG in permanent marker.TFTC to all whove had a hand in hiding/maintaining these series!

The Great Leap Forward 2024 is over. Out caching today with AnsMisty (Vic) doing the Liz tribute 60, and a couple of others in Owen where we breaked for lunch. Came across Geo Johns (Qld) on the dusty road as he was doing the same series. We replaced 3 containers and a log in our travels but were very impressed that the series seemed very well maintained. We popped a few trinkets out where they would fit. A great day filled with fun and friendship.This is a wonderful tribute to Liz and we appreciated all the cities in the series, which gave us some reminiscing or something just to chat about. TFTC.

Found it! As previous log mentioned this cache is damaged however was dry today and still able to sign the log. Once stayed on the other side of the river in Wodonga while passing through the area, we crossed the bridge and had dinner on the NSW side in Albury. #286 TFTC!

Tftc!! A quick late morning decision had us in the car on our way to see if we can complete this '60' on a lovely spring day.

**** ANZAC Day ****

Our second day on the “60” and Unicorn GeoArt series. Aiming to complete the current challenge, “Wheel of Challenges” and set a new daily record for finds.

Playing a guessing game with the geokids to improve their geography and add some fun to the “60” series. Provided them with initials or a state, gave them some cryptic clues and got them to think of an answer!

We travelled the three vertical roads making up the longest stretches of the 60 then went to the nearby unicorn to find more of the mystery caches.

55 finds for the day which is a new daily record for us. (The previous record lasting just four days – our last visit to The Plains.)

Decided to get out and about to collect some more caches again this Good Friday, while making a journey up to the Yorke Peninsula to perform maintenance on some of my existing caches and hide a new one as well.

The Australian Prime Ministers trail and It's a Small World are on the radar today, including some other caches hidden around the towns of Mallala, Long Plains, Wallaroo, Tickera, Alford, Parham and Webb Beach.

A total of 77 finds and 7 DNFs for the day.

A little bit of bloodshed but that's all just part of what makes geocaching fun.

This trip to South Australia was on again off again due to the changing circumstances in the various states we had to travel through. Finally getting a green light from all 3 states we headed off early boxing day. Day 8 of our adventures took us back out into the countryside doing GeoArt (PSA Series, and 60) and other trails (OTD July). This was the next find for the day. All the finds were nice and easy and quick unless otherwise stated. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.

Today fitzy _1965, the geokids and I headed north to finish the PSA series, do the ‘It’s a small world’ 60 series and the OTD July series as well as a few extras for good measure.

Started late and finished on dark with a total of 114 for the day.

All caches were found quickly and in good condition unless otherwise stated.

Today, with the Adelaide COVID-19 lockdown lifted, I decided to head north and target the *Australian Prime Ministers* (APM) Trail, and the *It's a Small World* 60 series. I swung by St Kilda initially, reminiscing about the playground and mangroves I once visited as a child, and then continued to snake my way north following the Prime Ministers, and visiting Mallala in doing so. It drizzled on/off for most of the day, and as the rain started to set in as the sun set, I decided to take that opportunity to head home.

I ended up starting this *It's a Small World* / 60 series later in the day than I had expected, getting going at 16:30 hr, and completed 6+0 just after 19:00 hr, so 2.5 hr driving and searching solo. I did have some trouble on a few of these, as it obviously doesn't get found much these days, while others I managed to spot upon approach (which helped to improve my morale for the long searching caches). Happy belated birthday Liz...
This cache turned out to be found reasonably quickly, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Note that the hint should be stobie pole, not fence. Thanks Adelaide Geocachers (honeysucker, SEMIK, and Skippy) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Day 182 (Thursday 27th) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Owen today. A total of 40 for the day and 3520 for the trip. TFTC.

The multiple geo arts near Port Wakefield have been sitting on my raider for some time now, and with some free time today I headed out early with the intention of finding them all. Despite some early grey weather, it ended up being a nice day as the three series were comfortably found, along with the odd cache in-between. All caches were found in reasonable condition.

Hi there Adelaide Geocachers.

We found your cache **"It's A Small World - Albury, NSW"** today. (This makes our find count 22149).

Today we headed out from Kapunda to attempt the "It's a Small World" series. We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds, but please excuse our boilerplate logs - we know it's not really a good excuse, but we find it difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day. [:(!]

We found 61 caches today & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] (We did have to look a little further afield for some though). [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** The containers and log books were mostly in good shape. Some hints are pure fiction though.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge in many of the caches, and also some new log sheets..

We had an hour of daylight left before we needed to head off to our campsite for the night, and so we couldn't resist searching for the caches in 0 of this series - and yes, it is a small world indeed! A mid afternoon call from Scuzzybear saying that she had finished her course early and asking what was I doing for the afternoon?

As I had nothing planned, we arranged to get out and get yet another series that we both needed.

As mentioned in the previous log, there are many caches that need a little TLC with many logs either full or in need of replacement.

I read that there are a number of owners for this series so maybe they could organise to get these ailing hides back to their original glory to keep this great series alive, it would be a great shame to see any of them go.

All hides were found, stamped and returned as found, sometimes with a minor repair as best we could with what we had with us.

As we are staying in Mallala for a couple of days, it seemed the right time to pick up a figure of about 60 caches nearby, as well as going to visit some more caches that were not a part of this series. Caching happened with ilook4geo.
It is a small world and we know the places that Liz and Bruce have been to in Australia. This was a series of mostly quick and easy finds that was useful for building up the caching numbers. Some of the containers and quite a few of the logs need some attention by the owners.

Some caching around the Mallala district took us to some interesting places with goingplaces2. A caching run of 60 caches was a must to put on the program for the day. This cache was found, log was signed, time to move on. TFTC.

With a long weekend coming up we decided to make it an extra-long weekend and hatched a plan with Rapidlywild to attack YP in SA again. It has been 4 years since we were last here so a few new caches/trails have come out since then. On our list was the Gone Fishn' trail as well as the 60 trail, Magical Unicorn and PSA as well as collecting random ones as well along the way.

Getting the "blurry eye" out of Canberra Friday morning we arrived in SA around 7.30am and the geo-mission began.

Apologies for the generic log, we arrived at the first trail on our list and we moved quickly through them...really enjoyed collecting these.

After completing the Unicorn cache series this morning we decided to move across here and do the Liz 60 series. Had to replace a few logs and a container. It was becoming very frustrating extracting logs that were falling apart or so tight in the containers that they torn when removing. What a great day to do this trail on such a beautiful day (weather wise), which was fortunate given most of these caches are on 'dry weather only roads".

What a wonderful series, and YES it is a VERY small world!!! I was also surprised at how many of these locations I too have visited.

As to Lizzie and Brucie, I know them well and I love them!

We first met very spontaneously whilst I was attending an event for "Newbies" in Queensland, January 2016, when I had all of around 6 geocache finds under my belt....I've found a few more since then

I have also travelled through France, Spain and Andorra with this delightful couple so we could attend a Mega, attack french powertrails and check out the beautiful countryside - an awesome opportunity to learn from geocaching 'pros' and to develop a firm friendship.

Re: today's finds: I replaced 2 caches, 2 logs and although some more maintenance is needed on a handful of others, that is all I had left in my caching supplies pack, I need to restock.

Caching with Southern Cross Caching today, out searching for hidden creatures.

This series was our main target for today to help get some numbers up.

With a couple of exceptions most caches were found reasonably quickly.

Team SWAGJJ is visiting the Yorke Peninsula this week to complete the geo art and collect traditionals, multis and other types along the way back to Adelaide as well. Last few days we explored and found a variety of caches around Adelaide. Seeing some amazing country side and views as well. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches.

Day 5 of our trip - travelling back from the Yorke Peninsula through to Adelaide. Our targets for the day included more T.O.Y. caches, a virtual, a letterbox trail, and a bit more geoart. Also a few caches with some interesting D/Ts for their type. Finished the night with some wherigos... A great day was had by all. Caches logged under the "SWAG-JJ" group monkier. TFTC!

Day 5: Heading back towards Adelaide for the next two days we are hitting up as many TOY caches, letterboxes and other interesting things on our journey today.

Finished work at Dry Creek at 1.30 so planned an arvo caching this series. Was a glorious afternoon, really enjoyed it. Found all caches in the series some of the log books were quite damp. Some finds were tricky, hints definitely helped. TFTC and the series. Started out with a fleece and a vest finished with just a T-shirt, perfect afternoon

Made my way out this way today to hopefully complete the 60 but unfortunately the rain got in my way and with the roads getting muddier I had to about my mission! Managed to get 1/2 of it done though! All but one is in need of maintenance as the log is wet! Tftc

Day 6 of an 8 day epic tour of SA.
Based in Tarlee, today's goal was some OTD caches, the 60 and the APM series.
Various side tracks to get other finds along the way were added in as they presented themselves.
The OTD series are so different in style of hide so that kept things interesting.
The APM was a long drive for few caches which we didnt really enjoy but it was heading in the direction of our accommodation so was convenient.
Again, I was impressed by the diversity of the SA countryside and it was a pleasant day.

On the list was OTD April and February, then onto the PSA series and the big 60 onthe map. After that it was a look at and completion of the APM, long and bumpy, trail. This took us all day and just to the brink of the night.

A Big week was planned to travel around South Australia, staying in Minlaton, Tarlee and Adelaide. We cache along a number of Trails, managed to grab a few off the beaten track, some well known caches and the odd one that
came up on the map as we were travelling around.

It ended up being a massive week of 2960 odd kilometers travelled, with day find counts of 25, 256, 361, 318, 66, 205, 104 and 76 (yep thats 1411 for the 8 days)

The weather was perfect, not too hot, sun shining and no wind or rain...what more could one ask.
This was a good series, coordinates were spot on and the hints helped for some, where others were very obvious.
Found all but one which I replaced as it was obviously missing, the SPOR was there but no cache.

I love Albury NSW. This lovely city has so many lovely parks and streets. It also boasts a huge range of shops and eateries / restaurants aswell. Department stores galore. One of the best places I have eaten at is a place called Taco Bill (tacobill.com.au) 443 Dean Street, Albury NSW 2640. If you like Mexican and or Hot food then Taco Bill is for you oh I forgot to mention the numerous amount of Geocaches around Albury and Wodonga [^]
