We saw a message on Facebook asking if there was anyone out there interested in finding the caches in the following geoart, It's A Small World, Magical Unicorns and the PSA. We put our hand up and were the lucky team who OzGuff decided he would like to cache with. These geoart have been on our to do list for quite some time. Hubby has have done a few of the PSA in 2013 on his trip to pick me up from the Nullarbor Roadhouse where I had been working the other few were completed on a trip home from a JLWE in 2016.The day before we had arrived in Adelaide from a break on Kangaroo Island and with a last minute change to our plans we choose to stay in Adelaide instead of returning to Victoria, thankfully Graeme was up for this. We made plans that we would pick him up at 5.30am which had us arriving and signing our first cache at 6.30am. This set the tone for the rest of the day, most of the caches were found quickly, if maintenance was needed we did this, a couple of containers were replaced that had suffered UV damage. We also found a couple of other caches that we could not drive by and were on the roads that we travelled on. Once finished these we popped into Dublin to complete the AL here. Thank you OzGuff for sharing this day with us we had a wonderful time and would do it all over again with you. SL TFTC

What a day! I headed out very early this morning with the muff1 duo in search of South Australian premiers, geographical locations all over the world, and unicorns. Our first find occurred at about 6:30am. And eight hours later we had found all 188 geocaches in the above three geoart series plus three more random caches. And we hit five AL stages in Dublin as we headed back Adelaide. 191 is now my record for finds in 24 hours.[Kudos to muff1 for revisiting 20+ caches from the PSA series just for me.]We had a great day! No DNFs, and we performed a little maintenance as needed. I signed as OZG in permanent marker.TFTC to all whove had a hand in hiding/maintaining these series!P.S. I lived in Darwin for a few years in the late 70s/early 80s. I still consider it my Aussie home as I was a teenager there.

The Great Leap Forward 2024 is over. Out caching today with AnsMisty (Vic) doing the Liz tribute 60, and a couple of others in Owen where we breaked for lunch. We replaced 3 containers and a log in our travels but were very impressed that the series seemed very well maintained. We popped a few trinkets out where they would fit. A great day filled with fun and friendship. This is a wonderful tribute to Liz and we appreciated all the cities in the series, which gave us some reminiscing or something just to chat about. TFTC.

Found as part of the SPBINZ team (Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ, and Nanzie). Today we've taken a slower and more scenic route along the coast as we head back towards Adelaide for the main event tomorrow and trying to target caches Bullertrout hasn't found on his previous visits. So now we are making our way through this series - it sure is a small world and she sure has seen a lot of it. TFTC Adelaide Geocachers and kia ora from Aotearoa/New Zealand # 21,723**Otepoti/Dunedin is the place to be 26-27 October, 2024 for GCA7ZHD - Geo Toroa Mega! Caching as team SPBINZ: Sidewaze, Paddlechick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie from Nelson, New Zealand. Having had one record day caching (430+) and then another quite full on (200+) were a bit more laid back today, taking our time for a good look around, several AdLabs some earthcaches and generally a more laid-back sort of a day.People sometimes ask how you can see much of the scenery when youre so busy caching but I find I see more than the average tourist who keeps to tar-sealed roads and drives from town to town. So, another awesome day exploring rural and small town South Australia. And learning a bit of history along the way.Greetings from the Shaky Isles across the ditch and many thanks for the hide.

Well after a whirl wind tour of Tasmania to help with 3 challenges that Im working on, I got back in late Tuesday night then packed the Geowagon and headed off to SA early Wednesday morning to attend the Leap Year Mega and to also tick off some LGAs along the way as well.Well after crossing the border the other day and staying in Millicent, Wellington, Cape Jervis, Kingscote and Im now in Adelaide for a week.Well it is the start of Mega week for me and lets see how I go.After catching up with Roaming Howie for a day of LGAs and other caches yesterday, today was a heading north caching day.My navigator GemmaSistema has joined me in the Geowagon and Roaming Howie has ahomburg in the GeoRanger with him and we are heading North to tackle the Premiers of South Australia series and the Its a small world series. After finding all of the premiers we are now on to this series so we are helping to celebrate Lizs achievements and I can at least say that I have visited a few of these places.Continuing the drive around the back roads. We soon spotted the cache and we added our tag to the log and now on to the next one.Signing in as GARP.(GemmaSistema, ahomburg, Roaming Howie and Posums). It was getting hot and thank goodness for the aircon in the Geowagon and there was also plenty of banter over the 2 ways. Thanks Adelaide Geocachers TFTC.

A caching run today with GemmaSistema, ahomburg, RoamingHowie and Posums (GARP) was formed to nab some of these caches. It was hot and dusty but pretty quiet today which made for an enjoyable time. All were found quickly and in good order - thanks for the fun and adventure.

After arriving and noting the cloud cover we opted to head out to do the Small World Series. We have known Liz and Bruce for quite a few years now. Spent the morning grabbing a few more caches hoping to complete the Wheel of Challenges for April.

A very pleasant cool and cloudy morning to start, before very strong winds blew across the dusty plains in this northern area filling our eyes with grit‍

We did all of the ‘It‘s a Small World’ series, some of the ‘Premiers of South Australia’ series and one or two others we passed along the way.

Many thanks for the hide Adelaide Geocachers

Targeted the “60” and Unicorn GeoArt in order to fulfil the requirements for the first month of the current challenge, “Wheel of Challenges”. Aiming for 100 finds in April required a series or a couple of power trails so we chose The Plains – Wild Horse, Long and Grace.

We started on Tiller Road for the 60, then went to the mane of the unicorn (multis), the horn of the unicorn (letterboxes), did a few mysteries around the head and finished with a few more traditionals on the 60 on Nairn Road.

45 finds for the day which is a daily record for us. Please excuse the copy and paste for all logs.

We are extremely grateful to all the cache owners involved in creating these series.

Decided to get out and about to collect some more caches again this Good Friday, while making a journey up to the Yorke Peninsula to perform maintenance on some of my existing caches and hide a new one as well.

The Australian Prime Ministers trail and It's a Small World are on the radar today, including some other caches hidden around the towns of Mallala, Long Plains, Wallaroo, Tickera, Alford, Parham and Webb Beach.

A total of 77 finds and 7 DNFs for the day.

A little bit of bloodshed but that's all just part of what makes geocaching fun.

Easy find here today.

Happy Birthday Liz!

Very impressive that you've been so many places.

Put my signature in the log book and returned the cache to its hiding spot.

Signed as "P.Goldy"

Happy Easter to all Geocachers.

I always drag out power trails, and I started this one back before I was 60. I didn’t get to meet Liz and Bruce at Millicent but their names are currently appearing in a lot of logs locally and it’s reminding me to finish this off. My last trip here was a disaster - I pushed my luck on a wet road and got stuck in a remarkably thin layer of silty mud. Great weather today, but the flies are out in force. Also the wheat harvest is in full swing, so lots of truck movements on these normally quiet roads.

It’s been a long time, I’m keen to go back to Darwin as a cacher.

Thanks for a great series Adelaide Geocachers.

22,510. Found with minniek during our Post-Christmas escape to South Australia.

This trip to South Australia was on again off again due to the changing circumstances in the various states we had to travel through. Finally getting a green light from all 3 states we headed off early boxing day. Day 8 of our adventures took us back out into the countryside doing GeoArt (PSA Series, and 60) and other trails (OTD July). This was the next find for the day. All the finds were nice and easy and quick unless otherwise stated. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.

Thanks Adelaide Geocachers !!

Today fitzy _1965, the geokids and I headed north to finish the PSA series, do the ‘It’s a small world’ 60 series and the OTD July series as well as a few extras for good measure.

Started late and finished on dark with a total of 114 for the day.

All caches were found quickly and in good condition unless otherwise stated.

Today, with the Adelaide COVID-19 lockdown lifted, I decided to head north and target the *Australian Prime Ministers* (APM) Trail, and the *It's a Small World* 60 series. I swung by St Kilda initially, reminiscing about the playground and mangroves I once visited as a child, and then continued to snake my way north following the Prime Ministers, and visiting Mallala in doing so. It drizzled on/off for most of the day, and as the rain started to set in as the sun set, I decided to take that opportunity to head home.

I ended up starting this *It's a Small World* / 60 series later in the day than I had expected, getting going at 16:30 hr, and completed 6+0 just after 19:00 hr, so 2.5 hr driving and searching solo. I did have some trouble on a few of these, as it obviously doesn't get found much these days, while others I managed to spot upon approach (which helped to improve my morale for the long searching caches). Happy belated birthday Liz...
This cache turned out to be found reasonably quickly, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Adelaide Geocachers (honeysucker, SEMIK, and Skippy) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

The multiple geo arts near Port Wakefield have been sitting on my raider for some time now, and with some free time today I headed out early with the intention of finding them all. Despite some early grey weather, it ended up being a nice day as the three series were comfortably found, along with the odd cache in-between. All caches were found in reasonable condition.

We have had the pleasure of meeting up with Liz & Bruce at a few locations listed in this series - Perth, Safety Bay, Adelaide and Kununurra. Enjoyed caching these back roads and fortunate that they were dry although some had been churned up a bit by recent rain. Found all the containers without a problem. Thanks to all CO's

Hi there Adelaide Geocachers.

We found your cache **"It's a Small World - Darwin, Northern Territory"** today. (This makes our find count 22180).

Today we headed out from Kapunda to attempt the "It's a Small World" series. We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds, but please excuse our boilerplate logs - we know it's not really a good excuse, but we find it difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day. [:(!]

We found 61 caches today & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] (We did have to look a little further afield for some though). [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** The containers and log books were mostly in good shape. Some hints are pure fiction though. Big Grin
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge in many of the caches, and also some new log sheets..

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny

Yesterday evening we only had time to complete the 0 half of this series before dark, and so this morning after having left our overnight campsite we set off to find the caches in the 6 section of the series. We had planned to start at the top right of the 6 but after finding the first cache we couldn't continue as the road ahead was impassible as there had been a burst water mains pipe which we were told had gone undetected for a number of days, and so we had to change the order of our search. Never mind, as we did at least still managed to find all the caches. This one was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe

***** GENERIC LOG *****

A mid afternoon call from Scuzzybear saying that she had finished her course early and asking what was I doing for the afternoon?

As I had nothing planned, we arranged to get out and get yet another series that we both needed.

As mentioned in the previous log, there are many caches that need a little TLC with many logs either full or in need of replacement.

I read that there are a number of owners for this series so maybe they could organise to get these ailing hides back to their original glory to keep this great series alive, it would be a great shame to see any of them go.

All hides were found, stamped and returned as found, sometimes with a minor repair as best we could with what we had with us.

Thanks for another fantastic series.

As we are staying in Mallala for a couple of days, it seemed the right time to pick up a figure of about 60 caches nearby, as well as going to visit some more caches that were not a part of this series. Caching happened with ilook4geo.
It is a small world and we know the places that Liz and Bruce have been to in Australia. This was a series of mostly quick and easy finds that was useful for building up the caching numbers. Some of the containers and quite a few of the logs need some attention by the owners.
Thanks go to Adelaide Geocachers for placing this series of caches.

Some caching around the Mallala district took us to some interesting places with goingplaces2. A caching run of 60 caches was a must to put on the program for the day. This cache was found, log was signed, time to move on. TFTC.

With a long weekend coming up we decided to make it an extra-long weekend and hatched a plan with Rapidlywild to attack YP in SA again. It has been 4 years since we were last here so a few new caches/trails have come out since then. On our list was the Gone Fishn' trail as well as the 60 trail, Magical Unicorn and PSA as well as collecting random ones as well along the way.

Getting the "blurry eye" out of Canberra Friday morning we arrived in SA around 7.30am and the geo-mission began.

Apologies for the generic log, we arrived at the first trail on our list and we moved quickly through them...really enjoyed collecting these.

After completing the Unicorn cache series this morning we decided to move across here and do the Liz 60 series. Had to replace a few logs and a container. It was becoming very frustrating extracting logs that were falling apart or so tight in the containers that they torn when removing. Not helped by those previous finders having to put name/found stickers on the log sheet, but still a great day out in the area. TFTC Adelaide GeocachersSmileSmile

A great morning caching out in wild horse plains region. The aim and success of finding all the PSA map series and finishing off the 60 series was completed.

Most of these were straightforward and easy finds. The log books on the 60 series need some maintenance as they are coming of great age.

What a great day to do this trail on such a beautiful day (weather wise), which was fortunate given most of these caches are on 'dry weather only roads".

Stamped the logs as "Fabulous Randoms".

What a wonderful series, and YES it is a VERY small world!!! I was also surprised at how many of these locations I too have visited.

As to Lizzie and Brucie, I know them well and I love them!

We first met very spontaneously whilst I was attending an event for "Newbies" in Queensland, January 2016, when I had all of around 6 geocache finds under my belt....I've found a few more since then Wink

I have also travelled through France, Spain and Andorra with this delightful couple so we could attend a Mega, attack french powertrails and check out the beautiful countryside - an awesome opportunity to learn from geocaching 'pros' and to develop a firm friendship.

Re: today's finds: I replaced 2 caches, 2 logs and although some more maintenance is needed on a handful of others, that is all I had left in my caching supplies pack, I need to restock.

Thanks so much for placing and maintaining the caches in this series Adelaide Geocachers! [^]

Happy birthday Liz, or should we say Queen Liz. Liz & Bruce are caching royalty. You know, some of the ones who find thousands each year and never have a DNF! We admire them!We are staying in Port Wakefield for a few days and headed out to this trail. Hopefully we can in some way emulate their feats.
There are some great bike tracks with caches along the foreshore in Darwin. Another lovely place to cache

Day 6 of an 8 day epic tour of SA.
Based in Tarlee, today's goal was some OTD caches, the 60 and the APM series.
Various side tracks to get other finds along the way were added in as they presented themselves.
The OTD series are so different in style of hide so that kept things interesting.
The APM was a long drive for few caches which we didnt really enjoy but it was heading in the direction of our accommodation so was convenient.
Again, I was impressed by the diversity of the SA countryside and it was a pleasant day.
204 caches found today. Apologies for the generic log.
All caches were found in good condition unless mentioned at the start of my log.

Find # 6328
Day 6
On the list was OTD April and February, then onto the PSA series and the big 60 onthe map. After that it was a look at and completion of the APM, long and bumpy, trail. This took us all day and just to the brink of the night.

A Big week was planned to travel around South Australia, staying in Minlaton, Tarlee and Adelaide. We cache along a number of Trails, managed to grab a few off the beaten track, some well known caches and the odd one that
came up on the map as we were travelling around.

It ended up being a massive week of 2960 odd kilometers travelled, with day find counts of 25, 256, 361, 318, 66, 205, 104 and 76 (yep thats 1411 for the 8 days)
1062 micro, 238 small, 60 Regular, 45 large, 3 Virtual and 3 Other.

I didn't have anything on today so thought I would come up here and tackle the '60' series. [^]
The weather was perfect, not too hot, sun shining and no wind or rain...what more could one ask. Big Grin
This was a good series, coordinates were spot on and the hints helped for some, where others were very obvious. Cool
Found all but one which I replaced as it was obviously missing, the SPOR was there but no cache. Sad
Thanks for the series Adelaide Geocachers. Smile
