TFTC. Down in Adelaide for some medical appointments & calisthenics comp . What else to do with spare time?? Cache of course! Happy caching and safe travels!
We saw a message on Facebook asking if there was anyone out there interested in finding the caches in the following geoart, It's A Small World, Magical Unicorns and the PSA. We put our hand up and were the lucky team who OzGuff decided he would like to cache with. These geoart have been on our to do list for quite some time. Hubby has have done a few of the PSA in 2013 on his trip to pick me up from the Nullarbor Roadhouse where I had been working the other few were completed on a trip home from a JLWE in 2016.The day before we had arrived in Adelaide from a break on Kangaroo Island and with a last minute change to our plans we choose to stay in Adelaide instead of returning to Victoria, thankfully Graeme was up for this. We made plans that we would pick him up at 5.30am which had us arriving and signing our first cache at 6.30am. This set the tone for the rest of the day, most of the caches were found quickly, if maintenance was needed we did this, a couple of containers were replaced that had suffered UV damage. We also found a couple of other caches that we could not drive by and were on the roads that we travelled on. Once finished these we popped into Dublin to complete the AL here. Thank you OzGuff for sharing this day with us we had a wonderful time and would do it all over again with you. SL TFTC
What a day! I headed out very early this morning with the muff1 duo in search of South Australian premiers, geographical locations all over the world, and unicorns. Our first find occurred at about 6:30am. And eight hours later we had found all 188 geocaches in the above three geoart series plus three more random caches. And we hit five AL stages in Dublin as we headed back Adelaide. 191 is now my record for finds in 24 hours.[Kudos to muff1 for revisiting 20+ caches from the PSA series just for me.]We had a great day! No DNFs, and we performed a little maintenance as needed. I signed as OZG in permanent marker.TFTC to all whove had a hand in hiding/maintaining these series!PS: No problems with the complicated puzzle. Adelaide is my favourite Australian capital city.
We stay another week in Adelaide and pick up some more caches Found the cache with TBU1BIKESU Tftc
After that long extreme heat wave, we headed out to get at least one Geoart in Adelaide's region. We know Liz and Bruce, and yes, it is a small world.Sorry for general log. A fav point for the series! Tftc Adelaide Geocachers
I did not know the answer, and thank you for making is rather straightforward to work it out. Quick find at gz! TFTC!!
After attending an early morning event in Walkerville I headed out after attacking theBarossa and Anna tommy Geo Art series. All caches found safe and well and log books signed and returned safely to the hiding spot.Nice series of drive byes in the south Australian country.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this series available to be found.Cheers
On the way to the Great Leap Forward Mega event in Adelaide. Stopped to do Used 2B a Church which is just down the road, and saw this puzzle cache. Well, never done a puzzle before, but hey, have to start one day, and today was it. Got the smiley face. Yay.No time for any more caches as need to get to the Mega. Will do the 60 tomorrow. TFTC.
Found as part of the SPBINZ team (Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ, and Nanzie). Today we've taken a slower and more scenic route along the coast as we head back towards Adelaide for the main event tomorrow and trying to target caches Bullertrout hasn't found on his previous visits. So now we are making our way through this series - it sure is a small world and she sure has seen a lot of it. I found a few caches in Adelaide when Sidewaze and I arrived on Sunday and looking forward to exploring more of it tomorrow. TFTC Adelaide Geocachers and kia ora from Aotearoa/New Zealand # 21,741**Otepoti/Dunedin is the place to be 26-27 October, 2024 for GCA7ZHD - Geo Toroa Mega! Please come and join in the fun, find heaps of caches and experience some wonderful Southern hospitality.**
Caching as team SPBINZ: Sidewaze, Paddlechick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie from Nelson, New Zealand. Having had one record day caching (430+) and then another quite full on (200+) were a bit more laid back today, taking our time for a good look around, several AdLabs some earthcaches and generally a more laid-back sort of a day.People sometimes ask how you can see much of the scenery when youre so busy caching but I find I see more than the average tourist who keeps to tar-sealed roads and drives from town to town. So, another awesome day exploring rural and small town South Australia. And learning a bit of history along the way.Greetings from the Shaky Isles across the ditch and many thanks for the hide.
We are now making our way back to Adelaide for the leap day mega tomorrow. Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie are signing our logs as SPBINZ or sometimes SPINZ as BT has done a large number of caches on the Peninsula. TFTC Adelaide Geocachers#16145

Date: February 27, 2024 Time: 12:31 PMFind #14596Spent the day with Gemma Sistema, Posums and RoamingHowie, targeting the PSA series and the 60 series as well as a handful of others.Moved onto the 60 series with Posums and Gemma Sistema bailing after the 6. RoamingHowie and I continued to the very end! All caches had something in place with a few a little dubious just being a log book in a plastic bag.Massive thanks go to Adelaide Geocachers for placing this one. ??
Day #7 Leaping Forward AdventuresMore geocachers are arriving in town by the minute. After catching up with Posums, GemmaSistema and ahomburg for dinner last night, a plan was hatched to tackle some caches up north as well as others along the way.Now off to the 60! Some of us, some of us arent. GemmaSistema and Posums left so its just the two of us now. Thanks Adelaide Geocachers for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. TFTC Adelaide Geocachers your cache It's a Small World - Adelaide, South Australia that we found today. In Mallala today and the rest of the week as we wait for the Leap Day Mega. After arriving and noting the cloud cover we opted to head out to do the Small World Series. We have known Liz and Bruce for quite a few years now. We love near them in the same village in Maryborough QLD. No excuses not to do this tribute series. We replaced a couple of missing caches with what we had. Hopefully they last.Find Count: 18317
Tftc!! A quick late morning decision had us in the car on our way to see if we can complete this '60' on a lovely spring day.
A very clever way to complete a puzzle cache when we are not very good at solving puzzles normally.

In an attempt to make a dent in the 1000 points needed for the current “Wheel of Challenges – Favourite Fan” challenge, we decided to head out to The Plains again, ie, Wild Horse Plains, Long Plains, Grace Plains. We had 20 caches left to find on the unicorn and 8 left to find at the 60. We would then head up to the SA Premiers series.
There are a few caches requiring maintenance on the 60 so we have some DNFs there, but most caches were found quite quickly as the D/T ratings are all relatively low.
We expected rain, as BOM forecast, but didn’t get any while caching. Some roads were not suitable for a family car. Sandy Brae Road was under water at the southern end.
Please excuse the copy paste for all logs.
We are extremely grateful to all the cache owners involved in creating the series.

Spent the morning grabbing a few more caches hoping to complete the Wheel of Challenges for April.
A very pleasant cool and cloudy morning to start, before very strong winds blew across the dusty plains in this northern area filling our eyes with grit
We did all of the ‘It‘s a Small World’ series, some of the ‘Premiers of South Australia’ series and one or two others we passed along the way.
Many thanks for the hide Adelaide Geocachers

Decided to get out and about to collect some more caches again this Good Friday, while making a journey up to the Yorke Peninsula to perform maintenance on some of my existing caches and hide a new one as well.
The Australian Prime Ministers trail and It's a Small World are on the radar today, including some other caches hidden around the towns of Mallala, Long Plains, Wallaroo, Tickera, Alford, Parham and Webb Beach.
A total of 77 finds and 7 DNFs for the day.
A little bit of bloodshed but that's all just part of what makes geocaching fun.
Easy find here today.
Happy Birthday Liz!
Very impressive that you've been so many places.
Put my signature in the log book and returned the cache to its hiding spot.

This trip to South Australia was on again off again due to the changing circumstances in the various states we had to travel through. Finally getting a green light from all 3 states we headed off early boxing day. Day 8 of our adventures took us back out into the countryside doing GeoArt (PSA Series, and 60) and other trails (OTD July). This was the next find for the day. All the finds were nice and easy and quick unless otherwise stated. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Adelaide Geocachers !!

Today fitzy _1965, the geokids and I headed north to finish the PSA series, do the ‘It’s a small world’ 60 series and the OTD July series as well as a few extras for good measure.
Started late and finished on dark with a total of 114 for the day.
All caches were found quickly and in good condition unless otherwise stated.

Today, with the Adelaide COVID-19 lockdown lifted, I decided to head north and target the *Australian Prime Ministers* (APM) Trail, and the *It's a Small World* 60 series. I swung by St Kilda initially, reminiscing about the playground and mangroves I once visited as a child, and then continued to snake my way north following the Prime Ministers, and visiting Mallala in doing so. It drizzled on/off for most of the day, and as the rain started to set in as the sun set, I decided to take that opportunity to head home.
I ended up starting this *It's a Small World* / 60 series later in the day than I had expected, getting going at 16:30 hr, and completed 6+0 just after 19:00 hr, so 2.5 hr driving and searching solo. I did have some trouble on a few of these, as it obviously doesn't get found much these days, while others I managed to spot upon approach (which helped to improve my morale for the long searching caches). Happy belated birthday Liz...
I found the hint rather ironic here, because I replied with "Really?" The hint was wrong once again in this series, as it was not under any rocks. This cache turned out to be found reasonably quickly, and the cache container was in good shape, but the logbook is pretty full. Thanks Adelaide Geocachers (honeysucker, SEMIK, and Skippy) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Day 182 (Thursday 27th) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Tailem bend today. A total of 19 for the day and 3499 for the trip. TFTC.
The multiple geo arts near Port Wakefield have been sitting on my raider for some time now, and with some free time today I headed out early with the intention of finding them all. Despite some early grey weather, it ended up being a nice day as the three series were comfortably found, along with the odd cache in-between. All caches were found in reasonable condition.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Left Kadina this morning, and took a long roundabout drive to Mallala, via Lochiel and Balaklava.
Not often i can solve a puzzle on the road, get the coordinates and find the cache. thanks liz happy birthday say hi to hubby for us.

We have had the pleasure of meeting up with Liz & Bruce at a few locations listed in this series - Perth, Safety Bay, Adelaide and Kununurra. Enjoyed caching these back roads and fortunate that they were dry although some had been churned up a bit by recent rain. Found all the containers without a problem. Thanks to all CO's

Hi there Adelaide Geocachers.
We found your cache **"It's a Small World - Adelaide, South Australia"** today. (This makes our find count 22158).
Today we headed out from Kapunda to attempt the "It's a Small World" series. We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds, but please excuse our boilerplate logs - we know it's not really a good excuse, but we find it difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day. [:(!]
We found 61 caches today & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] (We did have to look a little further afield for some though). [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** The containers and log books were mostly in good shape. Some hints are pure fiction though.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge in many of the caches, and also some new log sheets..
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

We had an hour of daylight left before we needed to head off to our campsite for the night, and so we couldn't resist searching for the caches in 0 of this series - and yes, it is a small world indeed! This one took a tad longer than the others to find, but it wasn't long before the log book was being signed. Thanks so much for the cache and for the puzzle and greetings from Zimbabwe
An impromptu Geocaching trek became available for BlackAdders and myself so we decided to slam dunk this series into the yellow grin field. We were delighted with how quickly we were able to access the majority of the caches and thankfully it was still daylight savings so we were able to make the most of our very late in the afternoon start.
We saw two skippies, many fenceline lines, hatched some ideas and, unfortunatley, completed a series which needs a heap of love. Most of the logs were full, had been water damaged or suffered with condensation, and some of the caches had seem far better days or had been a light supper for local animals. We even came across a throw down and a cache within 3 metres of each other! Regardless, we had a lot of fun and thank the COs for the effort it took to set this series up. Would the Cos please come and do a maintenance run before the rains and cold really set in. Thank you in advance!
Quick find for this puzzle, once it was worked out !!

***** GENERIC LOG *****
A mid afternoon call from Scuzzybear saying that she had finished her course early and asking what was I doing for the afternoon?
As I had nothing planned, we arranged to get out and get yet another series that we both needed.
As mentioned in the previous log, there are many caches that need a little TLC with many logs either full or in need of replacement.
I read that there are a number of owners for this series so maybe they could organise to get these ailing hides back to their original glory to keep this great series alive, it would be a great shame to see any of them go.
All hides were found, stamped and returned as found, sometimes with a minor repair as best we could with what we had with us.
Thanks for another fantastic series.

As we are staying in Mallala for a couple of days, it seemed the right time to pick up a figure of about 60 caches nearby, as well as going to visit some more caches that were not a part of this series. Caching happened with ilook4geo.
It is a small world and we know the places that Liz and Bruce have been to in Australia. This was a series of mostly quick and easy finds that was useful for building up the caching numbers. Some of the containers and quite a few of the logs need some attention by the owners.
Thanks go to Adelaide Geocachers for placing this series of caches.

Some caching around the Mallala district took us to some interesting places with goingplaces2. A caching run of 60 caches was a must to put on the program for the day. This cache was found, log was signed, time to move on. TFTC.
With a long weekend coming up we decided to make it an extra-long weekend and hatched a plan with Rapidlywild to attack YP in SA again. It has been 4 years since we were last here so a few new caches/trails have come out since then. On our list was the Gone Fishn' trail as well as the 60 trail, Magical Unicorn and PSA as well as collecting random ones as well along the way.
Getting the "blurry eye" out of Canberra Friday morning we arrived in SA around 7.30am and the geo-mission began.
Apologies for the generic log, we arrived at the first trail on our list and we moved quickly through them...really enjoyed collecting these.

After completing the Unicorn cache series this morning we decided to move across here and do the Liz 60 series. Had to replace a few logs and a container. It was becoming very frustrating extracting logs that were falling apart or so tight in the containers that they torn when removing. Not helped by those previous finders having to put name/found stickers on the log sheet, but still a great day out in the area. TFTC Adelaide Geocachers
What a great day to do this trail on such a beautiful day (weather wise), which was fortunate given most of these caches are on 'dry weather only roads".
Stamped the logs as "Fabulous Randoms".
What a wonderful series, and YES it is a VERY small world!!! I was also surprised at how many of these locations I too have visited.
As to Lizzie and Brucie, I know them well and I love them!
We first met very spontaneously whilst I was attending an event for "Newbies" in Queensland, January 2016, when I had all of around 6 geocache finds under my belt....I've found a few more since then
I have also travelled through France, Spain and Andorra with this delightful couple so we could attend a Mega, attack french powertrails and check out the beautiful countryside - an awesome opportunity to learn from geocaching 'pros' and to develop a firm friendship.
Re: today's finds: I replaced 2 caches, 2 logs and although some more maintenance is needed on a handful of others, that is all I had left in my caching supplies pack, I need to restock.
Thanks so much for placing and maintaining the caches in this series Adelaide Geocachers! [^]

Team SWAGJJ is visiting the Yorke Peninsula this week to complete the geo art and collect traditionals, multis and other types along the way back to Adelaide as well. Last few days we explored and found a variety of caches around Adelaide. Seeing some amazing country side and views as well. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches. A FP for the series.
Day 5 of our trip - travelling back from the Yorke Peninsula through to Adelaide. Our targets for the day included more T.O.Y. caches, a virtual, a letterbox trail, and a bit more geoart. Also a few caches with some interesting D/Ts for their type. Finished the night with some wherigos... A great day was had by all. Caches logged under the "SWAG-JJ" group monkier. TFTC!
Day 5 visiting Adelaide and surrounding suburbs with geo friends Waz and Vic, Ardom, Gcoven, JACS Team and joojoo57 from Queensland.
Enjoying venturing around the beautiful city and countryside finding as many caches as we can before heading back home.
To save room in logbooks, we signed or stamped with our team name, SWAG-JJ

Finished work at Dry Creek at 1.30 so planned an arvo caching this series. Was a glorious afternoon, really enjoyed it. Found all caches in the series some of the log books were quite damp. Some finds were tricky, hints definitely helped. TFTC and the series. Started out with a fleece and a vest finished with just a T-shirt, perfect afternoon
I have never met Liz and Bruce but have heard so much about them and their impact on the geocaching community. Would love to meet them one day.

Day 6 of an 8 day epic tour of SA.
Based in Tarlee, today's goal was some OTD caches and the APM series.
Various side tracks to get other finds along the way were added in as they presented themselves.
The OTD series are so different in style of hide so that kept things interesting.
The APM was a long drive for few caches which we didnt really enjoy but it was heading in the direction of our accommodation so was convenient.
Again, I was impressed by the diversity of the SA countryside and it was a pleasant day.
204 caches found today. Apologies for the generic log.
All caches were found in good condition unless mentioned at the start of my log.

I didn't have anything on today so thought I would come up here and tackle the '60' series. [^]
The weather was perfect, not too hot, sun shining and no wind or rain...what more could one ask.
This was a good series, coordinates were spot on and the hints helped for some, where others were very obvious.
Found all but one which I replaced as it was obviously missing, the SPOR was there but no cache.
Thanks for the series Adelaide Geocachers.

found with bluewrentit. getting some points for the Planetary Pursuit: Explore the geocaching universe souvenir challenge. After doing the Premiers of South Australia Series. quick find.
I only came across this weird thing recently. For a big place it’s definitely quite small. TFTC
A friend of mine just named her baby Bruce. Thanks for this first find of the series.
Riding the zero with Pony1966 on a quiet sunny grand final day, before heading to Riverton. A great series, fave point for this one on behalf of the rest of the zero! TFTC
Today we tackled the "PSA" and "It’s a Small World" series. We headed off at 7.00am for an early start with the sun out and not too much cloud about. As the day went on the temperature warmed for a comfortable caching day out. Each series had their own signature. We enjoyed the drive around the back country roads. Most were easy finds at GZ, some a bit of a search, but a great day out.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this series for our enjoyment.

We're on this trip with Noodles22 hoping to complete this 60 series but some of these roads look a bit sus. Got bogged yesterday and don't want to do that again. Let's see how we go. Thanks to all the COs

After a great caching road trip out to the Yorke Peninsula with J+J, we unfortunately met out half way point and had to start heading back home. We had another two power trails to complete on the way though.
After the heavy rain a couple of days earlier, the dirt roads were still soft but managable.
In the end we managed to find 158 caches and make our way back into VIC again. Tomorrow we have to cross back to NSW and hopefully still get our cache find count up.
Thanks for the all the caches.

This was day 1 of our adventure and we made our way out of the City and headed towards the underwater themed geo art [^].
I had been eyeing off an interstate trip for some time now and made plans to head to SA to power through the geoart trails over here . I roped in my geo buddy Krabiboy to join me and we set about solving [?] caches and highlighting Jasmer caches that aren't available over in WA. Our adventure took us from the CBD over to the Yorke Peninsula and then back across to the Murray Bridge area . We were relentless in chasing down the finds and picked up as many as we could in the week that we had available. Due to the park and grab nature of our visit, the log books which weren't able to accommodate the ink stamp we had made were signed with the initials 'jk'! Fave points will be awarded for those caches which are considered awesome
A massive thanks here to Adelaide Geocachers for placing this cache here and for tempting us to venture over to this area. Cheers!
jinta29 found your cache It's a Small World - Adelaide, South Australia today. This is my find #6534 and find #12 today. I was able to get my name in the log book here and we replaced the cache as we found it. Thanks once again Adelaide Geocachers for placing this and bringing us to this part of the world!

We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( South Australia and Northern Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!
