Heading out to Litchfield and picking up a few more caches as we leave Darwin yet again.
We are into week 5 of our 7 week plus Outback adventure and starting our way towards the Savanna Way at Mataranka from where we head East.
Visited a group of trackables enjoying the experience.

A great walk to find a great cache, a lot of effort went to creating this container. Only there was no hot water for a coffee. TFTC

Found on our Adelaide to Top End holiday. We camped at the Florence Falls campground for a couple of nights and I headed out early after breakfast to grab the caches nearby. This is a great walk through here which I had already done the evening before but certainly did not mind travelling that way again. Great cache container as always, I was just glad it was too early for any muggles.

Found this lovely picnic basket but it was a little too early for lunch so have had to take a rain check.

Found it after a couple off amazing swims at Florence Falls and Buley.

I found this it was really good but when we where putting it back some muggles started to play some kind of game 10 m away from us. So we tried to pretend we were reading with our backs to the cache.

As the muggle hoards trudged by a few metres below me I poked around for a cache.
That would be one right there
Dressed in my best anti-muggle attire, an en-semble of grey shorts and black shirt topped with a brown, wide brimmed hat, I was all but invisible as the hoardes passed by just a few metres below.
The picinicers on the other side of the creek couldn't hear me over the noise of the running stream
The stage was set for the great cache heist

And after 10 minutes or so I had rehidden the cache and restacked the rocks
Amazing what you can get away with in full view !!
If only they had looked up !!

A great cache in a great location, near some fabulous outdoor activities. What more could a cacher want? I could get used to caching in this part of the world! Thanks TiedyeSmileys. We enjoyed the swim at nearby Florence Falls. I laughed that from above it looked like there were two people in the water... Of course, when we got to the bottom we found the hoards hiding in the trees (and I don't just mean the bats)!!

We really enjoyed the walk!

Had a fantastic day in Litchfield, swam at the Buley waterhole first and then carried on for a picnic by the creek before walking in to the Florence Falls, on the walk I remembered that I had forgotten to search for the geocache that was nearby our picnic spot, but luckily I was able to find it on the way out. I must have been having brain fade in the heat because I ended up leaving my gpsr right by the cahce but luckily I realised that I didnt have it with me before I drove off so was soon able to retrieve it. TFTC

People enjoying a swim nearby but I managed to retrieve the cache and log the find. Paddled my feet in the water while sitting on the nearby bridge before farwelling this beautiful area. Thanks for the cache.

We found this amazing cache during our one mounth visit of Australia. We spent in Litchfield two perfect days with swimming, caching and traveling around. Many thanks for nice adventure during founding this cache. I think taht It was The best one what we found in Australia.

In Litchfield Park with the family for the weekend to do some caching so we had to cross this one of the list. Stinking hot day as well, but it was great to find a few caches before a swim at Wangi. The creek was a great place for lunch, much cooler than the surrounding area. T4TC.

The cache is very close to the track! So much so that the inevitable happened and I was sprung the moment that I retrieved it. The woman wanted to know what I was setting so I explained geocaching to her. I don't think that we have a convert!.

Nearly everyone else seemed to choose the short way to the pool, so we were all alone here to enjoy the scenery and search for the hide, actually not too difficult in this case. Thanks for luring us onto the long walk with the caches, otherwise we might have followed the masses

And another great cache, not just because of the great nature scenery along the path that led us here (compare Morinic's log entry). The container is very well prepared and clean, and provides a lot of room for trackables - unfortunately there was none in when we were there. The cute suprises inside of the container fitted very well with the cache title and made me smile . This should make a great find for a family with children too.
